Delicious meal!! The ingredients were very fresh and the wood oven wings and pizzas (especially the Bee Sting 2.0) were absolute delights! We were a group of four visiting Chatham for the long weekend and decided to have lunch at Centro. The restaurant decor was modern and they had a beautiful patio. The staff and especially the owner were very friendly! There was a good selection on the menu, the prices were reasonable, and it took us awhile to decide what to order because everything looked delicious, and indeed they were! It was overall a delightful dining experience, and we were pleasantly surprised to find a restaurant of this high quality in Chatham! Throughout the meal we kept saying that if this restaurant is in Toronto we would definitely become a regular. It was that good!

Party of 3 with reservations for 6pm. Waited over 30 minutes a table. Half the menu items were not available, and they were “out of ketchup” We ordered burgers and fries, so it would have been nice to know the #1 condiment wasn’t available. Poor service. Server was super awkward. Food was nothing to write home about. Disappointed.

A great group of local people doing what they do best! We had the bee sting pizza, and couldn't resit going back a second time to have it again. The cocktails are delicious, and the service is spot on. Welcoming atmosphere and nice food selections, with a variety of tasty salads too for the more health conscious diner. First time diners, have been wanting to try Centro out for some time. Let me start by saying the pizza we had was very very good. I would definitely come back for the pizza. The rest of the food was mediocre and the service was terrible. Drinks were okay spicy margarita was by far the best out of the 4 signature cocktails we tried. The Brussel sprout appetizer was good but needed more sauce and the waitress was no where to be found. The roasted squash salad was okay but for 20$ not worth it at all especially seeing as it had no protein. We also had the shrimp tacos which was pretty bland and the fresh corn tortillas were not very good they should stick to flour. I would go back for the pizza the bee sting was delicious for sure and the extreme heat definitely played a part in the terrible service but we barely saw our waitress and she never even brought the waters we asked for 3 times that's inexcusable.

I'm giving my rating at 3 stars. Order was take out and the packaging was top notch and very presentable, the pasta dish was average, a tad too many sundried tomatoes for our liking, the shrimp was very good. The side of bread for the pasta was very well done. The Pizza was a bit on the greasy side, crust was not uniform and quite thin towards the center but the outer edges were fantastic. I think a bit less salt maybe in perhaps the sauce or it may have been the pepperoni I couldn't pin point the source. The Lemmon cheesecake with blueberries was a nice dessert and portions were large.

Hint: if you turn the music DOWN people wont have to yell over it, making it easier to hear the music without annoying the customers and making them yell across the table at eachother. Food was alright. I order the chicken tenders. They tasted fine, but were more like chicken fingers than chicken tenders…. I assume thats why theres no pictures of the food on the menu. Im not saying i was falsely advertised to…. I just expected a slightly thicker piece of chicken for each chicken tender. But yeah, just know they are thinner than average and are more close to chicken strips. You’ll only be sinking your teeth half way in…. I ordered it because i wanted something with some bite. If i wanted thin, I’d have ordered pasta lol.

This is an absolute gem of a spot! We had the BEST waitress, the atmosphere was amazing, and the food was great. The patio would be PERFECT for an early fall date night. The cocktails are also yummo - I recommend the dragonfruit sangria!

Absolutely amazing dining experience with very well thought out menu options. Homemade kombucha and fresh brew iced tea with spirits coexist on their drink menu beautifully along with local brewery Sons of Kent beers. For those that love their veggies, their Brussel sprout appetizer is a must have and the option of cauliflower pizza crust upgrade is a must for your wood fired pizza. They have taken the basics we love and given them all a mature upgrade that is well worth a return trip.

Stopped in for lunch, had the Cuban sandwich with fries covered in shaved parmesan with a unbelievably delicious garlic aioli dip. The sandwich was very tasty with the smoked pork. We will return with friends to try more delicious food. Wood fried green beans are calling me back.

I've only had two different burgers there, but both were extremely good. Better than good. If I could curse on here, I would. This restaurant understands food and how to blend different ingredients and condiments together. The fries are nothing special imo, but the restaurant seasons them with top notch flavoring. Booked our reservation online through google which was an easy process. I messed up the date and only realized once we arrived, and they were able to accommodate us with friendly staff. Casual, nice atmosphere, with very clear sound system (Sonos). Kitchen is visible for all to see the action which is always a neat concept. I had the good burger which was way better than “good” and the fries were seasoned well. My wife had the chicken souvlaki which she enjoyed. I would highly recommend for a casual evening out with significant other or friends.

In short: Denied me take-out and told me dine in only, and when I went to restaurant weeks later they had slow and unfriendly wait staff. Food was delicious, I would get the bee sting again if they don't refuse takeout. Long: First time I tried to order take-out I was told they were saving the pizza ingredients they had for dine-in only, presumably so they could make more money during covid time? I was trying to support local by ordering there in the first place. When I actually got there a few weeks later I got slow, unfriendly service. We arrived at 6:30 and from the start it felt like none of the staff wanted to work at all. Took 10 minutes to get the hotestess attention. 15 minutes sitting at our table waiting for the waitress. We were one of 3 tables in our section, it didn't appear crowded and even if it was busy we received no explanation or apology. The waitress said less than 20 words in 2 hours and interrupted our dialog at awkward times (interrupted mid sentence to ask how food was during a heated discussion). Overall it just felt like we weren't wanted there which is a weird feeling when you're paying to be there and be served. Maybe the staff was having a bad day? I had high expectations after reading reviews and was quite disappointed.

Ordered the twisted pineapple pizza and the bad burger, and both were phenomenal. The kitchen ventilation system with the wood burning and the food cooking gives you a just enough of a sample of what is coming your way if you happen to be sitting on the outdoor patio. Talk about ATMOSPHERE! Whether you are inside (when that is allowed again) dining on the patio and ordering take-out, this is some of the best food Chatham has to offer! It has something for everyone, even the pickiest eaters. Their flavours are unique and not your typical restaurant menu. They go out of their way to personalize your dining experience. The staff is always friendly and accommodating and the food is terrific! Definitely a place worth visiting!

Finally a new restaurant that I think is going to survive Chatham! Wood-fired pizza, tacos, chicken burgers, cocktails, I love it all. Price is a bit higher than your average restaurant but not unreasonable. The atmosphere both inside and out is really cool. They definitely made the most of taking over an iconic location at one of the busiest intersections in town. Check it out!! Take out is good too.

Came recommended by wife's co-workers. Thought we would get some pizzas for the boys & we would try the pasta dishes. Wife & I felt the pasta dish wasn't that special, still good but needs some tweaking. Now the pizza my boys got were awsome! I actually kept grabbing a slice of their pies! Also the prices were a tad high. Maybe that's because of covid right now, not sure. I would eat there again but go for the pizza, it's is their specialty! Nice looking place inside & out too! Wonderful atmosphere, fantastic food! We have been to Centro twice over the past two weeks and each visit has been amazing. From the second you walk in and can smell the wooden fired oven, you know you are some place special. The restaurant is beautiful decorated and holds a lot of historical appeal. It’s cozy, warm, and friendly, and place you want to go back to again and again. The food is delicious. Twice my husband has ordered pizzas and the crust is light and has a great crunch on the crust. The Bee Sting pizza was incredible and the hot honey on the pizza totally made it. My son declared this was the best pizza he has ever eaten. I recently ordered the Good Burger - and it lives up to its name. The burger is so darn good, every bite was amazing. The hamburger bun is soft, the bacon is perfectly crisp and the garlic mayo and onion jam play off of each other perfectly. I’m not even a huge burger fan, but I cannot wait to go back and order this again. Centro is a wonderful addition to Chatham-Kent. We are lucky to have such a lovely establishment in our little town. If you get a chance to go, be sure to make a reservation so you are not disappointed.

My daughter recommended this restaurant to us as she LOVES the wood oven pizzas. My sister and I were at the Birdies nest in Chatham today and looking for a place for lunch. Remembered my daughter drives from Windsor several times a month to eat here so we thought we would try it. From the minute they took our order over the phone we knew we were getting amazing customer service. Friendly, kind and courteous. Had the chicken soulvaki wrap with garlic fries. Food was hot, fresh and everything we had was above and beyond delicious. The garlic dip for the fries was amazing. We did not want our meals to end. Can't wait to try out their new outdoor patio. I called the owner from the parking lot ( as because restaurants have no dine in) to tell him how much we enjoyed our meal. He asked us to wait for a few minutes and then brought out a delicious homemade piece of cheesecake. Needless to say that our lunch order filled us up so we saved the cheesecake for dinner tonight. I think another 1 hour drive to Centro Wood Fired Kitchen Restaurant will be in our plans again next weekend to try their pizza. Centro is one of the best restaurants in Chatham. The menu seems to be small and seasonal, likely related to whatever the chef happens to be interested in and what's available in the season, but it makes up for that by every single item on the menu being of exceptional quality. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Just tried calling there to order food and it was the most painful 6 minutes of my life. After trying to simply order a pizza I got told by the young girl that "oh we don't do that here, maybe you should call another pizza place" little did she know it was not only pizza we had planned to order! Our family has known the owners for years and we were thrilled to go to Centro Wood Fired Kitchen for the first time tonight. The experience exceeded our already high expectations. We started with the crispy brussel sprouts for dinner. Disclaimer: I'm not a huge fan of brussel sprouts. With that said, I could go for seconds, thirds, fourths, and more on this tasty appetizer. I had the ravioli for dinner and loved it! The ravioli noodles were cooked to perfection, the sauce was delicious, and everything about the meal was homemade and fresh. My parents had pizza and they were very good too. I highly recommend going here for dinner! By far, one of the best dinners I've had in Chatham. Not to mention the staff was kind and the aesthetic was wonderful. We will be back very soon!

First time there. Birthday gathering with friends. Nice atmosphere. Menu kind of limited but what I chose was very good. Waitress was very nice. Pleasant and knowledgable of menu. Had a nice night. Music was a tad bit loud when trying to talk. Music was good though and candles nice . Restaurant was very busy was quite loud . But all in all was a good experience

What a beautiful restaurant with amazing service and top quality food. We were visiting from Toronto and had such an amazing experience here. Truffle fries were so good and their pizza from the wood fire oven is simple using fresh ingredients. What a gem in the quickly growing city of Chatham.

'Very Accommodating ' Talked of going to Centro since they opened in October. I decided to take my girlfriend on her birthday. She made reservations a week earlier. We show up and they don't have our reservation. The waitress apologizes sincerely and sets us up in a booth. The waitress that brought us water also apologized for our lost reservation. It turned out my girlfriend had made reservations for another restaurant with the same name. We ordered two appetizers. We ordered the grilled brussel sprouts and the chicken wings. The brussel sprouts were excellent and the wings were gourmet. Ordered the wood fired pizza and it was excellent! Looking forward to going again and ordering a few more items that intrigued us the next time we go. The after dinner cappuccino and espresso was a must for us after this great dinner. After Dominique gave us a tour of the restaurant which was beautifully designed, it really ended our night as one to remember. We will definitely be back. Food was excellent as was the staff! Thanks again for a wonderful evening.

I only had a patio drink here, but the menu looked a bit pricey, the patio was decent but obviously a small area really close to a buisy road, might be good if you reserved it for a small family gathering. Inside was nicely renovated with some brick wall still showing, staff were friendly

Perfect choice for our anniversary dinner. Great improvised patio, outstanding menu choices and probably the best Cubano sandwich I’ve had in years. (The pickles made all the difference!) The service was tip top and the beer selection wasn’t bad neither. There was a bit of a wasp situation on the patio - I killed two of them myself - but depending on time of year, that might not be an issue. We’ll be back for sure - what a great addition to Chatham’s restaurant scene!

A group of friends and I recently went to Centro for lunch and we had an amazing experience. First of all, the overall vibe/aesthetic of the restaurant is exquisite. I've driven by this location numerous times and it has always caught my eye as somewhere I'd like to eat. Our waitress was lovely and the food was delicious and reasonably priced. This would be an awesome spot for a date night or like we did, a good time out with friends. Highly recommend!

I had my birthday lunch there Friday, December 10th and really enjoyed the experience. The wait staff was great, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was comfortable. I know that we vegetarians don't make up a huge percentage of the population; however, the only suggestion that I would make to this wonderful restaurant would be that they add a few more vegetarian options. Even a fauxmeat burger would be a great addition to the menu. Otherwise, outstanding place and I would recommend them highly.
