I gave 2 stars for 1 reason, and it's not for the food. I was trying to plan a birthday dinner for my husband, and I called to make reservations, since we would be coming in with 10-12 people. Not only would they not make the reservation, but the gentleman who answered the phone was quiet rude with me. The service of the wait staff is iffy. Couple times we went and service was quick and friendly, and other times it was dismissive and unpleasant. Aside from that, the food is very good, and the portion size is large. Food alone would be a 4 star, service a 1 star.

I'm not sure what's up, but at 3:15pm, the door was locked, no one inside to answer a knock on the door!!! No notice on the door!!! Not happy that there was nothing online either about a closure today. No answer on the phone from 2:50pm to 3:20!!! Not how one closes; put a sign up & msybe an announcement on your phone #!

They don't take reservations so get there early-ish. Small restaurant and great food. The portions are large and the price is low for what you get. I love the chimichangas. My husband gets the taco platter. Good date night restaurant.

HOLY GUACAMOLE! Amazing place! We rolled into Chatham late, worried we might not be fed. Cajun Pepper to the rescue. We got the plate for 2 and had our fill of tacos, quesadilla, burrito and enchilada. Home made taco shells... lovely sangria, fresh salsas. All of it fresh, tasty and served graciously to tired travellers. SO GOOOD. Yo gotta eat here.

The only place I know of in Chatham-Kent that does real, quality Mexican. P.S. those who complain in their review that it's not authentic, why would you expect it to be exactly as though you were in Mexico? Can you name an authentic Chinese restaurant? No. Can you name an authentic Italian restaurant? Mama Maria's is a great Italian restaurant, but it's not exactly authentic.

The worst place we have ever eaten and it’s very expensive for that kind of food. They used the same meat, the same toppings, the same condiments for all our orders. We regret going there.

They don't allow any dish modifications of any kind. I tell them about a food allergy, and keep in mind this is in regards to dairy based toppings for tacos on a take out order, and their answer is "we don't make any modifications". This includes simply not including cheese or sour cream. I repeat, refuses to NOT include them. They won't package them separately from the other toppings and refuse to simply not include them, which actually saves them money. Completely unprofessional, won't spend a cent here until this policy is changed.

Faitas only had 3 small tortillas, it didn't work for the amount of food in the pan. I was disappointed but the kids menu item had good value and included dessert and the staff were friendly too.

Tuesday Taco night!! Awesome

Tonight my boyfriend and I went out for dinner. He was looking at the Tres Hombres meal , a $23 entree. When ordering we asked that the enchiladas be made without peppers as he is allergic. Although the waitress was nice, they were far from accommodating. She simply replied with “No, he won’t make it without peppers.” No rhyme or reason why, just simply no. He then asked if he could get that meal but substitute the enchiladas with a chimichanga instead, once again, we were told no, the deal is for the meal listed. So, he ended up ordering something he didn’t actually want. Now for myself, I figured I’d try something new. I ordered the New Mexican Sun Dog, which was a jumbo Italian sausage, wrapped in cheese and a tortilla then flash fried. It came with pickle chips (which I was super excited about, until the came out) and a side of chilli. The pickle chips were very over done, and the sausage was very under cooked. We spent $60 on 2 meals, that neither of us were truly satisfied with. The fact that there was no willingness to try and accommodate their customers was atrocious. So whoever this “he” was that the waitress was referring to in the kitchen, should take a few lessons in customer service & customer satisfaction. Safe to say we will not be returning.

Will never go back. Menu has changed....very long wait when not busy. Main reason for disappointment was customer service. 2 out of 3 waitresses stood and gossiped as other girl ran and worked. Was not offered another drink......lack of experience and guidance

Very nice atmosphere, friendly staff! I did not enjoy my food at all, nor did the wife. The kids enjoyed there 1st ever fried ice cream desert & food. Found it very over priced for the money spent, didn't even include any drinks. I've spent 40$ less & enjoyed my meal way more at other comparable places. I've been there years ago & thought let's go again with my kids, Time to step up their food game! I Enjoy Taco Bell more than this experience.

We went there on a Saturday night and the place wasn't that busy, but we still had a hard time getting noticed by our waitress and served. The food was delicious, but it looks like the portion sizes went down a bit in size. Not that you'll be hungry leaving the restaurant, but you will have no leftovers for the next day.

We joined some friends for dinner here. It was our first time dining here. The food was fabulous and the portion sizes were generous. We actually ended up bringing some food home with us! Staff were also very friendly, attentive and professional.

Five stars all the way... The portion size was over-the-top! I couldn't believe how fresh everything was from the ground beef all the way to the toppings... If you have not gone to this place you are the person that is missing out! Get there because I know that you will love it! I was there today and I plan to go there at least one more time before the end of this month it was great! The waitress was very courteous and it seemed like I just ordered she went inside the kitchen and came out with fresh food! The timing of the food could not have been better! You guys are the best!

The food was really yummy with a casual atmosphere. I had the burrito and it was somewhat dry inside with all the rice; however I got salsa and sour cream on the side that I could dip it in. The fried dill pickles are a must have!!

Good food. But when a customer requests something be removed do to allergies you should do so. Your waitress don't even go back to ask. Her answer is always he won't do that. I don't know if this is an honest policy or if she just can't be bothered. What does it hurt not to put tomatoes on something? I see from the reviews she has done this to other customers. Maybe talk to your staff, this could end up in a loss of a lot of business for you.

I wish I could give 0 stars. I ordered the taco dish and it was so greasy and tasted like it was a month old! I ate 1 taco and left, I barely got out 5 minutes and I had to pull over and puke! I'm never ever going back!

I bought the taco platter to go. Instead of the homemade hard taco shells I had previously, they gave me store bought nasty taco shells that weren't even fresh. Disgusting waste of money.

The Owner is CRAZY!! I am visiting my grandparents & wanted nachos, I came here the server says " I can't have nachos to go " I asked why and she said he just don't. I asked to speak to someone else & the owner came out, I asked why I can't get nachos, he said because they will be bad by the time I get home ( but in a loud and very rude manner, I told him I am staying across the road 30 seconds away & he still refuses rudely, considering the business looked run down maybe it's good I didn't get them lol
