Food and service is good, but they need to add more security for social distancing until covid is under control.
Great service and delicious food. Great portion, great price????
Good food great music
Food was decent atmosphere was not there cuz we were too early would like to see it with the band playing ...wait staff was pleasant and courteous
Order appies which arrived fast and were good. Server was attentive and nice.
Went for happy hour. Chefs couldn’t count- got 24 of our 36 oysters at first then only 5 of the 6. They also were briny and old tasting. Wings were moist and the oysters we ordered at the very end were way sweeter and fresher. Hint: go at 5pm instead of 4pm, maybe they’ll have gotten rid of the day-old / pre-opened oysters by then.
$1 oyster happy hour!!! ???? first time trying it and not disappointed :)
If you love oysters their happy hour deal can't be beat! Best in Charlottetown!!
We had a great time! Loved the live music! Food was excellent!!!
Great food, fun atmosphere, great wait staff. Two story walk up though and I know i would take a tumble if I tried to stumble down those stairs.
I ordered the beef dip and it tasted great. the beef by itself wasn’t the best but with the dip and cheese it was great. The fries were plain but you could season them yourself. The onion rings were great too. The food and drinks got to us in about 10 minutes all at the same time. The curry looked amazing and so did the make your own burger
If you like Irish food Olde Dublin Pub is the place to eat. Lots of meal options. Staff was very friendly. My wife really enjoyed the fish cakes with a beet salad. Has a cozy atmosphere. Beer was cold too.
Had a wonderful anniversary dinner at this pub.Our waitress Danielle was an exceptional waitress whose customer service was the best! She was very attentive and you could really tell she enjoyed her job! The food came out fast and was very good. Thank you Danielle!Awesome waitress!
Food was great... service not so much
Friendly pub with fresh food and live music! Comfortable seating and following COVID measures.
Great atmosphere, especially at night when they have live music. Wait staff were excellent with orders and table visits. I had the Sheppard's pie, which was a little cheesy, but delicious. My wife had a steak that looked quite bland but tasted great. Overall, an excellent experience with great food.
Made a reservation there and when we went, we were not on the list. Pretty disappointed. I repeated 3 times the date because it was my birthday. Whoever took the phone call certainly screwed up the reservation. We drove 1:40 hr there and just got turned away. Would never look at the place again to book.
Burger love Burger was great
The main problem here is how LOUD the band was is the restaurant's speakers. I used my decibel meter and it showed 102 db ! We politely ask if they could bring it down a tiny bit, they politely told us that it wouldn't happen. So we basically ate, drank our beers and left. Service was great, food was all right for the price. Special mention to the oysters who were fresh and delicious. As a professional musician myself, live music is one the thing I enjoy the most in life. I find sad when pub owner seems to think that ''very loud means very good''. Also, it's very sad for the employees working long shift as they will potentially suffer permanent ear damage from working in such a loud environment...
Great food, beverages, and live music to boot!
We had lunch there today. Lunch was great and waitress was fantastic. She was a STU student ????
Never had a bad experience. Great little spot. Cool atmosphere. Good food for a great value. And to top it off... Oyster happy hour ???????????????????? Can't go wrong.
Great service and food. Loved the Oysters and the steak pot pie was delicious
Great vibe, food and service
Great food friendly staff
Great Irish Pub ....good selection of beers, great atmosphere...Cheers
Great food choices, quick service. The host was able to squeeze us in before a reservation was scheduled to arrive.
Had absolutely superior service at every visit to the Olde Dublin Pub. Great beer choices, incredible food, comfy and varied seating choices, relaxed atmosphere. Loved the herb crusted haddock and the island burger is one of the best burgers around!
10/10 happy hour oysters ???? $1/oyster is unbeatable! Happy hour from 4-6pm every day even in the winter time.
I went for dollar oysters during happy hour. Got ourselves 20 oysters. No regrets.
The Steak and Guinness Pot was off the hook...the Guinness was perfect..
Had a great time. Great pub atmosphere. Food was excellent and the service was top notch.
Prices are great, 10/10 recommend the lobster roll with dill sauce to dip into
Good service. Seafood chowder is good. Sticky date pudding was amazing but the caramel sauce is too overpowering.
It was delicious! Our waitress was an absolute gem! I unfortunately forgot her name but she worked on April 6th at 1 in the afternoon! Thank you so much!
My favorite spot in Charlottetown to eat. Great atmosphere, great food. I've never had a bad experience here. Only drawback is that it doesn't have John A on tap....This is the best pub on the Island...
My partner and I decided to go to this pub tonight as a way to celebrate my first trip to PEI. When we arrived at the restaurant at 6:30 and we were told it was full. We asked if we could wait for a table and they told us they were full for the night. This seemed odd, especially considering they closed at 2am. So we awkwardly went down the stairs and waited in the foyer. When we were there we watched as the hostess proceeded to let larger groups get tables. We even watched an older woman ask for a table of two and she was taken to a table. We decided we would call them from the street and attempt to make a reservation. When we asked if we could the person on the phone told us they weren't taking reservations and we could come in at 8pm for a table. We asked if there was potential to be turned away at the door because it had just happened to us and they said it was a possibility. I'm struggling to understand how they could try to sell us on walk-in service when they had just told they were full for the night. Frustrated we asked the person on the phone if the people who had been seated ahead of us had reservations and we were told "most of them did." This rubbed me the wrong way as it only confirmed they were selective with who they were serving and I'm not quite sure what it was about us that gave them pause. We managed to find another restaurant who were equally, if not more, busy who just asked us to politely wait for a table when one became available. This took about twenty minutes and we had a great meal. Olde Dublin Pub has a ton of great reviews which influenced our opinion to go there but, unfortunately, I can't comment on the food as they made it clear they did not want our service.
Saw Brad Milligan & Griffin there. What a fun trio! They are like a Rock and Roll Jukebox! Really nice pub! Great service!
Great place to enjoy a bite and a beverage with friends
Great atmosphere and really good food! And oh yeah...if you like Blackhorse beer from Nfld., they have it!
We were so fortunate just to be able to see live music on our trip to Charlottetown! And this is such a great place to do it. (The food is all amazing, but if you're craving something sweet, try the sticky date pudding - wow!)
The management should get local cider on the menu ASAP. The potato nachos is something I had never tried and quite enjoyed.
Fish tacos were delicious
Happy hour oysters?! Yes please!!! Husband had 30 of them to his face and loved every second of it. Our server Nick was on the ball and very good at his job!! Super friendly and efficient! Had the shepherds pie which was the best I've ever had. And big enough to share! So happy we spent our last night in PEI here. It was the perfect cherry on top to a wonderful trip. When we come back, we will make sure to stop at the Olde Dublin!
Great dollar oysters, good pub grub, friendly service and tasty desserts. What more can you ask?
Went here over the weekend. Decent food just ensure you make a reservation during the weekend as they fill up quick. Live music was also well done.
Live music starts at 10. Lively atmosphere
Good music. Good food. Enjoyed the atmosphere
Absolutely amazing! I had the most beautiful birthday ever. The place is beautiful and staff are super friendly and the food is delicious. I love that you get a lot of food as well for the price. It’s definitely not like other expensive restaurants and you only get a small amount of food. This was my first time visiting Old Dublin and I am definitely going back again and again. Thank you Kent for the most wonderful time and experience ❣️❣️❣️
Great food, great service, great drinks, and great vibes! A great place to stop off for dinner - if it's not too busy - while in town.
Nice pub with a complete menu of Irish traditional drinks and food menu. The place was jammed pack on a Wednesday night. They have a local 3 person band playing 3times a week with Gaelic music. I'd recommend it to anyone going to Charlottetown.
Service was decent. Location was great though. Menu was decent. Good patio.
Great service, even better food, would definitely recommend ODP to anyone!!!
Great atmosphere and service. Good craft beer selection. Chicken wings were juicy and very good.
Live Music on Friday was fun! Onion rings were good.
We went 3 times in a week since it was soo good! My hubby ordered the guiness pot pie and I the chicken wrap, (each time) we both share the nacho plate made with potatoes! Absolutely drool worthy and well done! By far one of my favorite places in Charlotte Town. The live music later in the night adds to the pizzazz of the place!
Really enjoyed this Irish pub. Great food and drinks. Loved the big screen, local beers and live entertainment. ????????????
Oysters on happy hour - the only place we could find with this deal in PEI!
Cesar's were delicious and fries with the works hit the spot!
The appetizers came out quickly and were awesome. I ordered the steak, it was a little over done but was very tasty. The price was a bit rich though for what I got. Hubby ordered the seafood platter and it definitely was over cooked. The waitress was very nice. All in all we enjoyed the meal.
Great staff. Excellent fish and chips.
Great atmosphere, food is pub food; Moderate to good. Wing and Beer deals on Tuesday.
Had beer and oysters. Nice place...server was quick. Awesome place.
The Shepard's pie was delicious and was ready so fast it was at the table before the pint! So good I went back the next day for another helping!
Had a great day there with family on mother's day ,music was good and food was delicious.
Nice place , classic irish pub style.
Second time in here and I really must say that the spicy tacos are really good!
Today was our First time in Olde Dublin Pub and YOU have to go! It’s the cutest little spot with amazing food. The fish and chips is to die for. IT WAS FIRE!! The service we received was so amazing and we will definitely be back again. They made us feel welcomed and gave us an amazing experience. Kent you are the best ❤️????
Portions are small, we believe one of us got food poisoning from their salad. Gone downhill - use to be a good place to go
food was great. too many Christmas lights in restaurant. The lights gave my wife a headache.
Awesome pub with great food. Tried the prime rib sandwich and was good.
Amazing dining in Charlottetown! Terrific atmosphere and outstanding food. Live music most nights here and a great selection of beer and cocktails. Price is reasonable for the great service and eats. A must...try the Island Blue Muscles to start - they're to die for!
Excellent service and great food. Kevin, your kindness was exceptional ???? Thank you ????
Julie and Danny always a class act.
Happy hour oysters were the best! So fresh and soooo good. Such a good deal.
Great service.Good food. Don't like those stairs .
Cool place, busy, live music, quick pace looking even if the actual service is slow at times. I did say busy.... The food was good, the selection of beers is lacking.
Nice , cool and delicious meals ????
The ambiance was awful; if you didn't know you were in an Irish pub, you would have never guessed. The food was so-so, but still quite expensive. We had the bacon wrapped scallops, the seafood bake, and the seafood chowder. They also charged us a small supposed-to-be cheesy mac n cheese portion for our daughter, but actually served us pasta with grated cheese on top, not acceptable!
The Sticky Date Pudding is so good!
We really enjoyed the beer cocktails And the fresh oysters. The fries were great. Unfortunately the sandwiches were a bit disappointing. The "prime rib" was tough. The corned beef was served plain instead of with the toppings indicated. We liked the bacon wrapped scallops, but they were a bit pricey.
Amazing seafood
This place is not good at all, we went there and this "Irish" pub had no Guinness and many other beers were also sold out. The two beers I did get were flat and just not enjoyable at all. The service was OK so 3* for that, the food was 2* at best and the cleanliness of the place would also be 2*. This place clearly makes its money off the one time tourist customers throwing out all the Plastic Paddy vibes to draw people in but you would never go back. There are plenty of mush nicer places in the same small area. Go to one of those and avoid this place.
Amazing food. Nice place
Caroline and I took advantage of their two can dine Wednesday night special offer, and we kicked things off with their Cajun onion rings as a starter, then I had the steak pot pie. The beef was a bit more chewy than I would have liked, but the topping and the lovely gravy throughout made this an enjoyable meal, topped off by a shared sticky date pudding with ice cream, brown butter and sugar sauce, with two spoons. Caroline started with a dish of shucked oysters and had the haddock entree. The service was fantastic and we enjoyed the atmosphere and our view of the street below.
Happy Hour Earlier than ever for the cruisers! Great local oysters and friendly staff and ownership
Good food and nice setting here. Fast. Your business rival kevin murphy has been visiting his kitchens without a mask past many months, ask the staffs. Just so you know.
Traditional Irish Pub. Very lively atmosphere and top notch service. Food was also excellent and provided good value.
Fun, friendly and delicious food.
