Une petite chaufferette avait été placée près des grandes fenêtres mais ça ne donnait presque rien comme chaleur. À notre départ le cadran indiquait 62 degrés sur l'appareil. Le repas était tiède ainsi que le café et le jambon pas mangeable. C'était notre première visite à ce restaurant et probablement la dernière. Je ne comprends pas qu'un restaurant comme celui-là n'ait pas réussi à louer ou emprunter des appareils de chauffage d'appoint efficaces. C'est réellement dommage. Manger avec son paletot sur le dos, ce n'est sûrement pas plaisant.

Following the previous review (that's in French), I'll have to agree : the real standout point of this restaurant is the horrendous service. I don't think I've ever so ticked off that I wanted to leave no tip at all and still take the time to really ask the waitress if she was simply moonlighting as a server or just taking it up as a half-hearty attempt at a hobby. Seriously. It was that bad. First we get seated by the window. Great view, lovely atmosphere...no heating...in November when the weather is hovering around 0 degree Celsius (you know that ominous temperature where water starts to turn to ice). We get ignored four times and finally manage to ask to switch places. Then we are herded at the absolute end of the restaurant. Not a problem except for the fact that this meant we were obliterated from the server's mind. She asked four times if the table behind us had ordered tea and dessert...and she wasn't even assigned to their table. They were getting annoyed at her questions and we were getting annoyed at not being able to catch her attention despite resorting to big bold hand waves since a polite hello or excuse me would not do. That said, the food is good. The maple smoked steak is worth your time. The drinks are varied, local and fun. The chocolate dessert is intense. Don't get me wrong, I love dark chocolate but this little brown triangle of doom was so dense and carried such a bitter aftertaste that I would prefer chewing on a plastic spoon than eating it again. It's a bit mean when said in a review but it truly reflects my feelings. All that said, the steak and local vegetables were memorable and perfectly represent Montréal : fun, respectful of local ingredients and well put together without being pretentious. But for the life of me I would never ever dare face another bout of selective invisibility from a server at this place.

Stopped here on my way to Montreal and I was very impressed by my visit. We dined for lunch and were seated outside on the nice patio overlooking the water. My group ordered a few pitchers of beer and some lunch items. The grilled cheese was the standout and was crispy and extremely flavorful. We also ordered some appetizers and a few pitchers of the Unibroue beers and were very impressed. The service was friendly and overall the price was reasonable. I'd certainly return if I visit Montreal again.

The service was poor, the buffet was not ready on time, the dishes were lukewarm at best and lacked plates. As long as the food, be it entrees, main meals or desserts, it was simply disgusting. In most cases, it tasted nothing, which is already better than the rest because the few foods that tasted something were incredibly bad. We were the 4 eating while saying "What are we eating there?" and wince because of the taste. We ended up dining only with the small breakfast sausages that tasted passable. Again, fair it is relative. The local canteen is able to make me better for the 7th price. We're talking about a meal that cost us $ 28 + a plate. With a bill of nearly $ 150 for 4 people, I will never set foot in this restaurant again. 5 years ago the food was incredible, now it's a farce, it's so bad. My partner and I ended up going to Tim Hortons when we got out of there to change the taste in our mouths. (Original) J'ai jamais mangé de la nourriture aussi mauvaise de ma vie. On était les 4 en train de manger en se disant "Qu'est-ce qu'on est en train de manger là?" et grimacer à cause du goût. On a fini par dîner seulement aux petites saucisses déjeuner qui avaient un goût passable. Encore là, passable c'est relatif. La cantine du coin est capable de m'en faire des meilleures pour le 7e du prix. On parle ici d'un repas qui nous a coûté 28+$ l'assiette. Avec un facture de près de 150$ pour 4 personnes, je remettrai plus jamais les pieds dans ce restaurant. Il y a 5 ans la bouffe était incroyable, maintenant c'est une farce tellement c'est mauvais. Ma conjointe et mon on a fini par passer au Tim Hortons en sortant de là pour se changer le goût dans la bouche.

Went to have the brunch buffet for 28$ a person. Ambient: great decorations indoor. But I believe outdoor terrace is better as it has a nicer view. Indoor is also really noisy. Not recommend for romantic event. Food: for 28$, quality is similar to Allo Mon coco or Ben and Florentine. Meat session should be avoided as they are all overcooked and dry. Croissants okay. Dessert ok. Overall, not many variety. Not really worth for 28$. Service: good. Came refill coffee and water fast. Cleaned up dishes quickly

Had one of the best brunches I had in a long time. There is a huge assortment of both hot and cold items to choose from. Everything I tried was either good, tasty and a few items were even great. Brunch is served in two sittings. They also offer a complete selection of breakfast beverages. As Chambly is well known for their local brews they have a mimosa like offering using their 'Blanche' beer. Normally brunch is 27$ per person however we found a deal on Tuango which was 32$ for two. Would I pay full price, probably as I think it is well worth it.

Went to Chambly on a rainy day to check out the Unibroue brewery, which does not have a public tasting room, so this is the "official" location. The food was well prepared and a soup/salad bar was included. It also has a little Unibroue gift shop.

Our dinner here was the highlight of our trip. All of the food was superb and reasonably priced for such an elegant setting. We had a large group but were still met with enthusiasm and kindness by the staff. The service was at a relaxed pace, we did wait a while for our food. But this was a big social occasion for our family so we were happy that the meal lasted a long time. Plenty of drinks and incredibly great bread was provided while we waited. Don't expect to get in and out of here quickly. This was a lovely dining experience, just relax and enjoy! We ordered the tasting flight of beers and then chose the ones we liked best. Absolutely incredible. And don't pass up the desserts- they were phenomenal! Oh and another plus for our group that was not fluent in French- English menus were provided!
