Finally found massaman curry!!! It was very good and portion was generous just missing the pineapple and not sure about the tomatoes. Its quite pricey but it was delicious so it's worth it

The best Thai food I've ever had... Ever! The cook uses home made recipes of her's and her mother's from Thailand. I've watched through the kitchen service window as the cook adds the ingredients to each dish from scratch. Great ingredients, traditional recipes and great home style service and atmosphere make this by far the best in my opinion. And guess what, the prices are super reasonable. Highly, highly recommended. A gem of Campbell River.

Family and I ate lunch today, she ate the special Cashew Gai (not spicy) and I dined on beef noodle soup. 10/10 on both for size, flavour and presentation. This little restaurant deserves more business!

Ordered the Green Curry Soup to go for a picknick in the Park. Got settled only to find out that they gave me a pair of chopsticks. How do you eat a soup with chop sticks? Food itself was ok, only enough rice for about 1/4 of the soup tho. Soup tasted a little watered down but did have a refreshing flavor.

Ordered pad Thai multiple times from here and would always recommend. This time ordered mild spice as usual and when my partner and I started eating we noticed right away that it was quite spicy. Called the restaurant to ask if I could come back to get a mild version and after a little deliberation they decided not to. Their reasoning was that I ordered mild and they wrote mild on the box insisting that that was what I recieved, they did not consider that maybe a mistake was made and the wrong version was sent out. I'm quite disappointed as I normally really enjoy the food here, I won't be back.

I was a bit hesitant to try this place seeing that most of the asian food in CR is lousy. Well i was quite pleasantly surprised. Everything we ordered was delicious, and I am happy to add this place to my short list of good restaurants in CR! Wish I would have tried them sooner.

Ordered x2 Pad Thai for takeout, was told it would be 30min which sounds normal. The food took over an hour. The Pad Thai was extremely greasy, bland in flavour, ZERO veggies (no bean sprouts, green onion, or cilantro). The meal was edible, but no satisfying whatsoever. Very disappointing for a THAI restaurant...

The food is great and the portion sizes are larger than expected. If you are ordering the Pad Thai to go with rice, there is enough for two to three people. Order the coconut rice, best compliment ever.

This place is awesome. I am a picky eater and they make my Pad Thai exactly how I like it with half of the ingredients left out, lol. It must be aggravating for the chef but it's perfect every time, large portions for a good price.

Ingridients are very fresh and delicious. You can really tell the owners take pride in the product they produce. It can be a little slow for take out at times when it gets busy but if you call ahead they will always give you an accurate estimate of the wait time when you order. Either way the food is well worth it!

I'm not sure why people are posting 4-5 stars, my experience was less than stellar. I came to this place after seeing great reviews on google/yelp. I'm going out of my way to write a review based on an experience I had yesterday. I came here for dinner one night. Service was okay, nothing exceptional. The young hostess seemed a little inexperienced but she was polite more or less. The owner seemed friendly. This is the only reason why I'm not giving this place 1 of 5. Here's the essence of my criticism: there's something wrong with their meats. I've ordered satay chicken skewers to start and pad panang (pork) as the main - both meats were dry. I don't think the chicken was marinated and my guess is that it was cooked after being sliced. It lacked any juiciness - I didn't finish it. The pork was initially unrecognizable. I finished that dish out of hunger. I hope that my experience is an anomaly. I didn't have the heart to complain to the friendly gentleman who seemed to be the owner.

Went for lunch and had the beef soup and spring rolls. They came out of the kitchen in a timely fashion. The broth was much more flavorful than similar soups I have tried elsewhere. I would recommend this place to others and I will back again

Stopped off in Campbell River for the night and was just looking for a bite to eat. I wasn't expecting it to be brilliant, I go a prawn curry to take away and I can't remember the last time I had such a delicious curry! The sauce had actual star anise and cinnamon sticks in that proves it was all cooked from scratch. Hats of to the chef, I will be back!

We were very cautious about buying thai food in Campbell River (coming from Vancouver), but we were not disappointed with Imagine Thai. We had the pad thai and enjoyed the large portion! We even managed to keep some for lunch for the next day (although it was so good we could have eaten it all in one sitting!).
