I am not much of a fan of their hot food, with a few exceptions of course. Dairy Queen is the best frozen dessert place i know. Milkshakes, Icecream Cones, Blizzards, Sundaes, Banana Splits, or Ice Cream Cakes. No matter what you choose you can't go wrong. I have not had any problems with the employees at this particular Dairy Queen. Friendly service and reasonable wait time.

Stopped in on July 13 th for onions rings and drinks. The onion rings were grease ridden and tasted rancid to me, I could not finish them. I would not even venture a guess as to when the fryers oil was last changed. The drinks were great. Won’t be back

You cannot beat the $6 or $7 meal deals that DQ offers on its value menu. You can't get a burger, fries, drink and ice cream cone or sundae for desert from anywhere else for $7. The ice cream cakes they sell will be the highlight of a persons birthday everytime.

Mom found a small hair in her fries after eating close to half the meal. She never requested a new meal or refund rude worker came up to her and told "just to make it clear to you you aren't getting a refund you ate some of your burger" and walked away. Rude costumer service

Food is a tad expensive for what you're getting. No one here seems to know how to properly blend a blizzard because the bottom of the past 15 I've got all have had 2 inches of regular ice-cream on the bottom and all the good stuff on top. They also charge you for adding topping like tomatoes and pickles on to your burger. If I get poutine or chili cheese fries they never put enough and it's always super dry.

Disappointed yesterday with our visit. A week ago I received an email announcing a new blizzard flavour. They were already sold out. That is poor ordering of supplies. I asked for an old flavour- chocolate pecan cluster. Have had it at this location before. The order person had likely not heard of it. But he didn't say that. He just gave me a turtle and figured it would be close enough. NOT. Not going back anytime soon.

I have found that since the new location opened some time ago my experiences have been less than stellar kind of mediocre at best and absolutely slapped together and unable to even eat it being so soggy and inedible.. The other location was a regular stop and tradition. The last time we ordered food was when it was so sloppily put together and the toppings were mushy bun so soggy it fell apart and cold fries. BOTH sandwiches so at least we were both left disappointed and hungry lol I called right away to complain 0ⁿthe meals if i remember came to like $26 or $ 27 his was at the begin of COVID 19 so awhile ago but Google just asked me because a friend wanted a Blizzard when I was driving and I took her . No one answered but there was voicemail so I left a detailed message and no called me back .That night I threw the bag in my freezer as I was not impressed and thought I should have some proof . It still in there I hate chunking it out brrrrrr ????????

they chased a customer down because he got an extra dipping sauce then told the person who was with us that they did all the orders and had no excuse why he didn't get his, he was sitting there with order number in hand but no order. This is the only DQ in town now, and with covid preventing their dining area to be open, their drive thru is quite congested and is even blocking traffic sometimes. It's often a long wait just to order, but it's fast enough once you get to do so.

I was visiting friends on the island, super starved after a hike and decided to come to DQ for a convenient quick meal. I was surprised they bring the food out to you when you dine in. The food was fresh and was very good. Staff were super friendly. Parking is super convenient and lots of places to park.

The last few times ordering "hot food" it's been mildly warm. I appreciate not eating soggy chicken and understand that time is important however if your paying for "hot food" it should be. On more than one occasion I have ordered banana splits and received very minimal strawberry pieces/syrup in them. I hope this review will help improve the quality of food/treats!

Interesting that neither the person serving me, nor the person in the back making the food, could be even remotely bothered to actually wear their masks properly (both noses completely exposed as they laughed and talked to each other, over my food). ok so dairy queen for me in general is not a great idea..don't really like ice cream much and am a vegetarian who rather Coke products not Pepsi. My kids enjoy it very much either way! My wife just brought home supper from our local Dairy Queen. She ordered a plain bacon cheeseburger, fries and drink for herself. A 1/3 lb plain cheeseburger with bacon, fries and drink for me. Both burgers were totally plain. Hers was just the meat patty and bun and mine was the 2 meat patties and bun. And they didn’t even give full orders of fries. All this for the not so low price of $24.13 and no receipts! NOT HAPPY AT ALL!

2 out of the 3 blizzards were awesome but very disappointed as the one we paid to have extras put in actually tasted like it had less than the normal amount & it wasn't as thick as the others either. So I wouldn't recommend getting the "extra" as it's not worth the money. I will say that I was very impressed with the fact that they finished serving all who were in the long drive thru line at 10pm even tho it meant staying open to do so.

Great location! It's always about location, but the problem is their Drive-thru! Waited 1/2 hour just to get a milkshake! And this location only has 6 flavours, not like some locations in Alberta! And their walk in service wasn't available at the time, yet the door says enter here & exit there; but no signage stating that they're closed inside posted on the door!

I had to move tables because the one that i was sitting at was wobbly and i didnt stay long cause the table was hot from the sun and it was shining right on us and there was only one spot to sit at to hide in the shade but it was occupied and so i left early, if your thinking of going i would recommend to go at a time when the sun doesnt shine towards the area your desired to sit at

We came here for a little dessert when staying in Fort Frances. It was packed. DQ is the place to be for fast food in the area. I got a cinnamon cookie dough blizzard. I've never seen a flavor like it in the US. All of the cookie dough is always chocolate chip and I don't like chocolate. I was excited for this alternative. It was delicious! It was very cinnamony. Everyone tried nice and liked it the best over the Turtle and the Reese's. It was a little different than US Dairy Queens, but overall, you know what to expect.

I'm honestly shocked at how tiny the portions are compared to the cost. The burger was tiny, the fries were half of what you'd get at BK/McDonald's and I spent $17 for the meal plus a medium blizzard. I feel like I just got robbed. Not to mention they got my order wrong. Quick service even during a busy lunch, washrooms were clean, food was good. Wishing the burgers were still charbroiled instead of what they are now makes a huge difference. Like the renovations that were recently completed they make it look a lot better! The ice cream cakes are ALWAYS a hit at any birthday party or celebration and I love that I can customize the message on top for free! Would recommend for a quick meal or cake if you need!

Good food. They have a 6.00 and 7.00 menu that's very good value. Edited July 2018: No more 6.00 specials that are full meals..snack meals only..one main and a side. No dessert or drink unless that's your side choice. Not worth it but for 1.00 more you get a 7.00 meal..it only has 2 choices, but still provides a full meal and dessert.

Went there with my two daughters today Feb 28th 2019, at 430, they were so friendly to me and the kids, we ordered our food and even tho it was busy we recieved our food within a minute of sitting down. After getting our food the manager I think it was or an employee came to everyone's table (like I mean every persons table in the restaurant), and made sure we recieved all our food and it was done to our liking. He was super friendly with my daughters... Amazing service.. we are new to CR and new to bc where we are from the service sucks back in sarnia Ontario so this was a pleasant experience def reccomend this one. Food was great too!!! Cheers dairy queen!!!
