Consistently good food, reasonably priced, in a quiet calm atmosphere. We used to favour the Ben Than Thai/Viet restaurant next door but it is often busy and noisy. Nagano is better for quiet conversation.

Fantastic Bento box lunch menu options. Very tasty and plentiful. Another great thing is each table is isolated in a booth which I personally like so I don't have to see, hear, or smell my neighbours. Last heads up is the thing that looks like a little teapot is actually soy sauce. I embarrassed myself so you don't have to.

Sushi very bad quality my tuna roll was grey and unpleasant smell and taste very bad. My spicy salmon roll was dry and unpleasant I threw away $40 of sushi. I even left a %20 tip that was a mistake

Korean/Japanese cuisine. Very fresh sushi. Great lobster tempura that most Japanese restaurants seldom offer. Amazing service. Definitely would go back to try more of their dishes and other sushi offerings. Wish they had fatty tuna (chutoro/otoro) available!

The food here is very fresh and reasonably priced compared to the AYCE places anywhere near here. The service is always quite quick and they are always so friendly. The fried foods aren't oily and the meat cuts aren't too fatty. I highly recommend it.

This restaurant was an accidental find that turned out to be an amazing experience. The atmosphere was calm, and Japanese music played in the background. The service was fast and incredibly friendly. We ordered the dynamite roll, bibimbap, and soon du bu chigae. The sushi roll was good and lived up to expectations, but the Korean food was phenomenal. The right combination of space, sweet, tangy, salty, and various textures. Would come back and would recommend to friends and family.

The food is always wonderful. Every bite is balanced and the ingredients are always very good quality. The place is super clean and the staff are friendly and attentive. I also love the atmosphere. It is totally possible to get a very good meal at a great price for the quality here and their menu has a wider range of price options than many sushi places. The inari roll is a hidden gem.

It's a great place. The quality of the food was good and it was priced accordingly. The inside could use a bit of a renovation as it was looking a bit tired, but otherwise, it was very clean and well maintained. It's not the best sushi place I've been too, but definitely much better than many of them.

Our Favorite Sushi place, only one other competes and that one in Kitchener and the prices are higher there. Wonderful staff, Wonderful food and great atmosphere and very clean. So attentive and will fix anything that is not to your liking. I'm allergic to shrimp and they change anything up for me to salmon instead. would suggest coming here instead of those all you can eat places in cambridge. ya its not all you can eat, but what you get is perfection for what you pay for.

I will never go anywhere else for my sushi. I have tried other places in the KW area . Nagano is always fresh! The service is good-the staff are kind and hardworking. The fish is fresh ( no old taste) and you can tell its is freshly made( not old fried yam that has been sitting all day). Each roll has unique tastes. I have been going here for about 6 years and we dont stop!

Had a sushi lunch Bento box. Atmosphere is ok, place is ok clean, service isn't too friendly (very rush though with 60% occupancy). The biggest problem I had was that the sushi rice was hard! Texture was like those cooked rice but had stored overnight.

This is probably the best sushi in Cambridge. May not be all you can eat, but with the quality of their sushi, you're not looking to stuff your face. You can be pretty well full for $12 on your own. Or with a group, get a good assortment going. Service is very quick, friendly and attentive. If you do take out it's only a ~10minute wait.

Nagano is hands down the best sushi in the area and usually staff is very friendly! I am not giving 5 stars because I was in yesterday and had purchased take out. My sister and I decided to stay to eat since we still had some Xmas shopping to do, and when we asked if we could grab a table we were told no because it was take out. Totally ridiculous considering it was completely dead in there and it isn’t a fancy upscale restaurant. Takeout is also the same price as eat in service, so it really shouldn’t have made a difference. The younger 2 girls that work there are always amazing but this time we dealt with the older woman and she had very poor customer service skills.

My friend's place to be honest but in terms of taste and gourmet quality, you're gonna have full value of your money spending in the restaurant. I love party tray for 2 with sushi and maki, and add on shrimp tempura as appetizer. Greeting with smile and asian manner, they will try to fulfill your meal needs all the time and you won't be disappointed. :)

It wasn't very busy but once I had ordered I received my food within 5mins. I would even say 3 or 4minutes. It was very quick service. I ordered the dynamite dinner ~$19. OMG! I've gone to many sushi places and I was very, very pleased. The fish was obviously fresh, and they were diligent to not include so much rice in each piece of sushi. It was the perfect amount of food. I'm definitely coming back if I can help it!

Ordered an S3 combo (Had them swap California roll for spicy salmon) and Yam Tempura. I cannot even begin to describe how delicious the whole meal was! The sushi and Sashimi were on point; freshest fish I've ever had, and the spicy salmon roll was so good it had me begging for more (even though I was full). As well, their tempura and tempura sauce weren't your typical out of the box tasting stuff that you get everywhere, (it was probably home made) and it as well tasted really good. I would recommend this place to anyone, family, friend or stranger, who is looking for good high quality sushi.

This place is amazing! The sushi there tastes amazing and fresh. The service is good. Its nice and quiet and there is quiet music in the background. The prices are good and cheap (for example one serving of 6 sushi would be 3-4 dollars) I would recommend this place if you like sushi.

The service is terrible. There were three wait staff, only one was walking the room. The other two just hung around the cash register. I was a waiter for a long time, that kind of behaviour galls me. This is the situation where no tip is warranted. Had to ask for water three times before receiving any. The restaurant was not busy. When I came in the lunch crowd had left. There was no excuse. I've been to this restaurant several times...and the service has never changed! The white dragon roll I had fell apart because it was loosely made. In the past I had Korean dishes and they were very small portioned. I don't recommend this place.

Nagano serves fresh and delicious, well-presented sushi. We had the private seating tables and I wasn't a fan of the enclosures. Sure, it provided more privacy, but it didn't leave much room for space. Honesty, the enclosures are not required. I had the Spider and Tuna Roll. Both were fresh and the Spider Roll was one of the best rolls I ever had. The crunchiness and taste of the roll was superb. Service was exceptional and no language barriers were present. There's also a service button at the side of the table to call the server. Nagano does not do AYCE. Overall, a great sushi spot for any sushi lover.

We got the Caterpillar roll (a specialty roll which is more expensive) and the Spicy Tuna Roll. We actually preferred the Spicy Tuna Roll even though it was half the price. It is the best "standard" roll we've ever ordered. Amazing sushi and even better that we can stick to the cheap rolls like Spicy Tuna and Spicy Salmon because that makes it dirt cheap.

First time ordering from here and wow! With everything going on these days we've been missing or sushi, and Nagano was excellent. We ordered combo 7 for my wife and I and they even threw in some miso soup on the house. Lots of food and really tasty and friendly service, we will definitely be back!

Sooooooo goooooodddd seas skeptical because I’ve only been to yes and it is was better and if you go to yes your paying 60.00 for two and here you get tonssss if tuna for that price and it’s bigger pieces way fresher they make it in front of you and are actually really nice staff as well unlike yes where they are always rude and act like you are annoying them thanks guys had to review!! Nagano shares the top favourite sushi place in the region for us. We have been there so many times and have tried so many menu options. The sushi is fresh, the staff is nice and the restaurant is clean. They have tables for large groups or small tables for two. They have something for everyone, even if you don't like sushi. This is not all you can eat which is why it is so delicious.

Best sushi place in town. If you want all you can eat, which usually means lower quality food, there are other restaurants in town. The only sushi restaurant I know in town where all the staff are actually Japanese. Lunch Bento boxes are the best value, takeout is decent too. Weekday lunches are fairly busy with the business crowd, but not to the point of having to make reservations.

They actually take reservations unlike other places that “take” your reservation and then make you wait 15 minutes. Recommend this place 100% if you are looking to get sushi in the tri-cities.

The maki rolls are very good: tightly rolled and very tasty. We also had a lunch bento box with kalbi (Korean ribs) which were fantastic. The prices were very reasonable and we left full for less than the price we'd pay at an AYCE place with lower quality.

ROTTEN SUSHI!!! Over the years this place has gone down hill. The tuna and snapper sushi almost everytime is seared/surface burnt. The reason they do this is to burn off bacteria.

So far the best sushi I've found in the Cambridge area. While the prices can be on the higher side the quality and taste make up for that. Normally I order ahead for pick up and even on New Year's Eve never have to wait long when I arrive to get the food.

Great selection of Korean and Japanese food. I love how all their Japanese dishes comes with sides so you can make 1 tray of sushi onto a full meal. Best part of this restaurant is high walls surrounding each seating area so you feel like you are in your own private booth.

I went to this restaurant based on the strong reviews. That was a mistake; this restaurant is overrated. If this is the City of Cambridge's idea of a good Japanese/Korean restaurant, then I don't think a lot of the reviewers have been to quality Asian restaurants. I ordered the Nagano Sushi Dinner. The salad's iceberg lettuce felt rubberized; the dressing was a vinegarized goop. The lobster tempura roll was saturated in mayonnaise squirts and the lobster portion was barely there. The service was joyless. An honest assessment is that Nagano's is a step up from supermarket sushi, but not much better.

I hate to give this place a 1 star but this is the 3rd time I have called for pick up and they have told me that it will be a 2hr wait. I feel that a simple pick up order should not take 2hrs to prepare.

Very nice place, not all you can eat but thats just fine. they put a dab of wasabi under the fish on the sushi even when i asked for no wasabi. Not a deal breaker but if you do not like wasabi please triple check that they heard you because they always put wasabi under the sushi fish...

My wife and I adore sushi (good sushi and sashimi). Not enough positive things can be said about Nagano Sushi. We moved to Cambridge in 2015 and Nagano has not ever messed up our order take out or dine in. The food has been perfect every time. And the service is always friendly. They accimodate my shellfish allergy every time. The sushi is never old or gone bad. I have visited here so many times and they are always on point every time. Would give more stars or praise if I could. Everything is good on the menu. My wife loves their special rolls with shrimp. Love these guys.

There was surprise wasabi on all the sushi under the fish, which i was not aware of. Not a fan of wasabi, so it take away some of the enjoyment of those sushi The rolls were amazing, the miso soup was also tasty. We had dynamite roll which is a little sweet, good Rainbow salmon roll and california roll too, both were good Avacado and fish all very fresh, and assembled well, nothing fell apart :)

Every time I walk in, I get a wonderful greeting. The staff even recognizes me and always gives me an extra sauce because of the ONE time I had asked. Service is above par. The food is phenomenal and very clean in its finishes. The green tea is perfect drinking temperature, and the salad and miso soup before the meal is very pleasant. I highly recommend dropping in and infact you should become a regular visitor.

This is one of the best sushi restaurants in the area. I've been here probably a dozen times over 2 years. The fish has been fresh every single time I've been here. One of the top 2 (if not the best!!) sushi places in all of KW. I avoided trying this place for years due to the disappointing quality of all of the other sushi places in Cambridge. Nagano’s amazing quality fresh, clean tasting sashimi exceeds any of the restaurants in the region. The presentation of the food is always beautiful and the staff is consistently friendly and welcoming. The large combos are enough for 2 people to not miss all you can eat restaurants. The lunch specials are also delicious and of great value for the price! Expect a longer wait for pick up orders... this place is always busy :)

The first time I came here it was great. The last time I came was for lunch and it was awful. The food was pathetic and the service was just paltry. The fish looked like it was a few days old and was poorly cut. I had to stand there waiting to be seated as waitresses just walked by. The owners need to have a nice chat with their staff in regards to the quality of their work and their service they are hired to deliver. I hope this place turns it around.

last chance and they blew it again. Last 2 times here, it was awful. The food is just ok, confusing menu, can't get a lunch size portion of anything and a plate of rice is dinner size only and $15.00. The service is non existent. They rush you to order and huff and puff while doing so. Noodle dishes are oily and flavorless, sushi rolls are warm, the list goes on. But above all terrible service. Won't ever go back.
