The food was very authentic and delicious. Price was reasonable and, once we ordered, it came to the table in a reasonable amount of time. Getting someone to take our order is why the 3*'s We arrived and a lovely woman gave us menus and told us to sit anywhere. There were 2 other people in the restaurant. The lovely woman disappeared for almost 15 minutes. She reappeared with burritos for the other table and asked what we wanted to drink.. We just wanted water and we told her we were ready to order. She pleasantly said OK, I'll be right back...and disappeared for over 15 minutes..reappeared with water and turned to walk away lol.. We had to holler to get her back. She took our order and stopped to serve 2 people who had walked in a minute earlier, grabbed menus and sat down. We got our meal at the same time they did. When we went to the counter to pay, a man came in and ordered at the counter so it seems that regulars know some tricks Again, great food, pleasant service but you can't get your food until you order it and that shouldn't take over 1/2 an hour when we basically knew what we wanted when we walked in (chicken enchiladas verde...awesome)

Hard-to-find Mexican ingredients found here are excellent quality. I believe it's extra from what they use in-house. The lady who helped me is such a kind soul. Greatly appreciate her taking the time to explain how to properly extract the flavor from the Ancho peppers. I'll be back for more ingredients and certainly trying their Posole after attempting mine!

Ordered a hot spiced beef burrito and I was served something that was mild at best. I mentioned it to my server and she said there's Canadian hot and a Mexican Hot and I should have ordered "Mexican Hot". There was nothing on the menu to indicate this and to their credit they did bring out some hot sauce and salsa. I believe it's not what goes wrong it's how you deal with it when it does. Ultimately I enjoyed my meal and they were responsive. I recommend them and I'll be back.

Never had such blatant racism on display in my life. Came all the way from Guelph because of the reviews. Soon as we walked in, we were met with dirty looks from the waitress. She told us to pick our seats. We then sat and a few other customers were seated after us. She then proceeds to help all the other people who were seated after us. After 20 mins of waiting and trying to get her attention met with more dirty looks, she then sends someone from the kitchen to serve us. Will never come here again.

We really like going here. They have fantastic burritos. Great prices, and super friendly service. Not an amazing atmosphere for dining in, but it's great for a casual meal or even to grab the food to go. Also the corn tortillas they sell are really good-great for making your favourite dishes at home and a great value for the dollar.

It was recommended to us by El Chapo himself. Loved it. Food was served quickly. Really fresh and tasty. Tried the chicken burrito and chorizo chimichanga. The margarita was so refreshing. Churros were filled with dulce de leche. Prices were pretty decent too. About $40 with tips.

Went here Nov 2020. They were following all current bylaws, and have fewer tables than some of these pictures to accomodate this. The food ordered was made in a timely manner and was absolutely delicious. All the staff were very welcoming and friendly.

People claiming this was the best food outside of Mexico and 5 star ratings led us to this restaurant. Taco Bell quality food and indifferent service was our experience. My burrito was an under-spiced (ordered medium), flavourless soggy mess served at room temperature. My wife had the enchiladas de mole. The sauce was bitter and nasty and the ground beef was cold and greasy. Wanted tap water but had to buy bottled water because their fridge was "broken"? This stomach churning mess cost us $46 with tax and tip. Saw awards on the wall for best Mexican restaurant in Cambridge. Not a hard award to win when you are the only Mexican restaurant in town.

You want real, good burritos? Try here. My wife had a big burrito with lots of fresh ingredients and I had enchiladas with mole sauce. Really good food and that is in fact what kept this review at four stars. However, it seems like unless you speak Spanish, you don't get the same level of attention. Service is a bit off overall. We were jammed at a table between another couple and the drink cooler because the other tables had not been cleaned. We had to get our own water (there is a sign that asks you to do as much). Despite the wonderful homemade salsa they were served with, I would not recommend the nachos as they are just chips with some cheese melted over the top and a few lines of sour cream.

We travel about 50 km, from London Ontario to eat at this restaurant. If you’re looking for a high-end dining experience and with staff wearing tuxedos do not come here. This is a small family owned and operated restaurant with homemade Latin food, you can see into the kitchen. The tables and chairs are basic, along with the Decor, similar to eating in Latin America. The food however is amazing, good size portions, unique blending of flavours and spices not the typical average Mexican restaurant, the staff has always been extremely courteous, they always remember who I am. And most importantly both the food and the service has always been consistent, even through the pandemic, on a sidenote their takeout containers are biodegradable.

We had 9 tacos and some guacamole. Amazing flavour. Ask for the hot sauce. You will not be disappointed. Also skip on the beer and go for the horchata. Specifically a pitcher size to share. If they have it available. What made it was the tortilla soup. This has to be the best soup Ive had in years. Perfect balance of acid and textures of pulled chicken and crispy tortillas. When in Cambridge. This is a must stop.

Great little place with delicious food, good portions and great service. They lost half a star because the guacamole did not seem fresh. It was really smooth instead of chunky and the ingredients were overpowering the taste of the avocado. They lost the other half of the star because the margarita was very sour and foamy. The beer is ice cold so stick to that. I can't wait to go back again and try more dishes.

I had ordered a beef burrito and received a chicken. Normally not an issue but the beef is better.. I had called and asked if they could do anything about the mix up. She offered to deliver if we sent our address over text. And we did. One hour later after the msg was sent and leaving the chicken burrito for them to pick up.. we called as it was getting pretty late and we don’t live far. The lady then explained after we called them back that she is very busy and that we had ordered the chicken burrito not beef. (I also know for a fact I said beef burrito, I always order that) A call for a heads up saying she wouldn’t offer this anymore to us.. would have been nice. But now I’m left up set after she yelled at us for no reason. She said she would deliver no problem, if that was a problem I would have picked up the new one or paid for a beef like I asked for in the first place .

Loved it. First time here with the wife. Mojitos were authentic and have not had a Latino meal this good since being in Old Town San Diego. And the price is very reasonable. It felt like I was going to a friends place for a good meal.

WOAAHHH!!! Amazing ORIGINAL mexican taste. Satisfied my mexican cravings beyond expectations. Finally found something of my taste after so long. Do try this if you want to taste original mexican taste and forget the chains. Loved to the core. If you are a fan of tamales they do have it. Ask for it. Vegetarian options available. Great staff and amazing service. Loved their salsas too.

Customer service could definitely be improved, as I barely even got a hello or a goodbye. The tacos were stuck to the paper in which they were placed into. I had to rip paper off of my taco and they were basically all ripped up after that. The food was definitely not what I was expecting. I was expecting full flavour and instead I got a very bland taco that blew my mind how ordinary it was.

It's been 2 years and we were so looking forward to going back but we were disappointed. They used to serve wonderful homemade guacamole, but now it comes from a jar. The margaritas used to be so amazing you couldn't stop at one. Now they use a mix from Costco. It was disgusting.

The food was delicious as always. Friendly staff, HUGE portions for burritos, especially considering the price. Great quesadillas. Tried the Frijoles Refritos con Queso, my kids fought over who got to lick the bowl clean. My kids are are slow dinner eaters, but this they inhaled. A really nice surprise!
