I generally like most Edo restaurants in the city, but I wasn't impressed with this one. Portions are smaller than usual, napkins are out of reach for customers and employees seem to be chating all the time rather than working.

Ordered online at 7:35. Was told to pick up at 7:55pm. Arrived at 7:56 and at that moment they started to make the order. I was informed right there that 2 of the items I ordered where unavailable. Many people came, ordered and got their food. I got my food at 8:17. What's the point of ordering online then? 21 minutes is too much for fast food. Rolls were OK. Sunday may 3. Dec 26. Same thing happened today. Ordered ahead and they just started when I came to pick up. Took 25 min. The two Guys are a mess. Three customers had complaints in the 25 min I was there. I gave it a second chance but never again.

Pretty standard place. Staff are friendly, but a bit distracted. Sometimes they get the order wrong, so check your receipt! Food is tasty though and consistently so. The beef yakisoba is my favorite, but I also noticed that since changing to the new take out containers, the portions are a lot smaller than before.

Edo Japan- Sushi and Grill- Westhills Towne Centre is a Canadian Japanese Fast Food Restaurant Located in the Westhills/Signal Hill Region of Calgary, Alberta, Canada. They have fantastic service and staff and of course great food. My Personal Favourite is Chicken and Beef Sumo Size. Looking forward to going to Edo Japan after the Local Lockdowns and COVID-19 Restrictions are finally lifted. Currently Edo Japan is available to be ordered via skip the dishes.

This place is pretty neat but today I had come here and I had my food at home. It had 1 long strand of black hair in it and later I found another shorter strand of hair in it. Hope to contact them soon. Definitely very true about the comment someone made about it smelling like a restroom more than Japanese food. Especially as you approach the counter/beverage area. Very unfortunate.

Ordered a sumo-sized teriyaki chicken yakisoba. They asked how many scoops of sauce, I said two and paid for the extra sauce. It barely had one scoop of sauce and it was so bland without the sauce. I had requested lots of sesame seeds and they added none to it. We also ordered a Teriyaki Chicken bento box. It also did only had one scoop, but they definitely made sure to hold the broccoli, allergy related, which was a good thing. Probably wouldn't go back as that was the second time they missed adding sesame seeds and not adding extra sauce.

Very nice manager, my gf wanted double chicken and the cashier accidentally gave us to two orders instead of double therefore charging us more, I went back and they gave me a refund and I got to keep the two orders. Excellent costumer service!

This place is usually really good but today..... not so much. Everything we ordered had small , burnt , black bits in it. The Gyoza were burnt on the bottom, the Edamame even had burnt bits in them. I think they need to either turn down the flat top temperature or clean the grill more often. Good thing there is another Edo in the food court if Westbrook mall. Might make the extra miles to visit a different Edo

Disgustingly terrible service. Went in for sushi Sunday’s an HOUR before close and was told they were out of sushi rice. You literally have an hour of operating left, make more rice. Especially on a promo day when you know sushi will be in demand. Plan. For. It. We usually do sushi Sunday’s every Sunday but at a different location and it never disappoints. Decided to try this location this Sunday and was beyond disappointed. Get your business practises together.

I love Edo, but will never come back here. The Caucasian woman at the till was extremely rude towards the minority group customer before me. The fella before me just asked for some hot sauce and the woman chucked it at him. I thought I'd get the same treatment but she was a complete 180 with me, all smiles and cheerful. I felt disgusted with how one human being could treat another this way.

I have been to the Edo location before and every time I go the portion sizes get smaller and smaller yet they charge you more. I am very disappointed. I really use to like Edo but it is definitely not worth the money.

Walked in and the place is clean ... but when it smells like a bathroom / restroom as apposed to Fresh Japanese food.. something is wrong!! Then waited 15 min for our order!! No line.. order wait .. wait ... . cooking like crazy.. and next thing is Mr Skip the dish walks in and finally after 15min get our order!! Won’t be back for quick bite!! Food was good once it arrived.. (chef’s are great) but trust me .. because it smells like a restroom!! That’s just Gross. 2 stars had nothing to do with the Chef’s .. its about the smell.. had to take out!

The lady at the front put one scoop of teriyaki sauce instead of 3 that I requested in my take out meal. Further, the brown rice I ordered with my meal was actually white rice tossed in soya sauce. Lastly, the kids meal of sushi rolls was not really kid friendly or tasty.

I’m not one to leave reviews. And this is actually my very first one because I give up on the Edo Westhills location. I love Edo in general. But. The Westhills location - I can’t count how many times this location could not process a easy order. I had to call the store manager a few times in the past. And this day came and I’ve had enough. I even wrote my order out for the staff, so I would save frustration - and yet they were still confused and my order wasn’t process correctly. Sizzling shrimp, no rice isn’t so hard to get....

Not a good location at all. The girl at the front can’t even take a simple order ( yeah I was wearing a mask but even with a mask on the words “four California rolls” doesn’t even remotely sound like “twelve California rolls”. Also I feel like they should probably hire a new cook as I was very disappointed in the portion We had received... I won’t be back

Ordered 3 orders, two sumo chicken and beef, one with yakisoba noodles, the other with rice. The third order was a regular chicken, and beef with rice. I watched all the other orders get filled that came after we did. We finally got our order, and took it home. The yakisoba noodles in the sumo order were under cooked, and very chewy. The regular order of chicken and beef I had specifically asked for extra sauce, it was dry. Quite frankly all three were dry, The broccoli was more crunchy then cooked. Its like they rushed through our order because they forgot.... I would not go back to this location

Regrettably, they have changed some of their ingredients in several of their offerings. Gluten free foods now very difficult to get across the chain. Will continue to eat their when not with those that have that issue.

Been waiting for 25mins for 1 order of noodleful bowl and 5pcs. tempura. Super slow service and uncoordinated crew. It felt like the crews are skipping order queues to accomodate take out couriers and disregarding people who ordered and are currently waiting in the store.

I always enjoyed this Edo location for many years especially once they introduced cauliflower rice. But today's dinner was a big disappointment. I honestly don't understand how a restaurant food can go from 5 stars to 2. My chicken was burned. When you ask for well done chicken it doesn't mean it should be black and the dish is full of black pieces as if the grill was not clean. The amount of chicken was so little too. The cauliflower rice was way too salty. I could not finish my food. Disappointed.

They seemed overwhelmed by the orders (walk ins and mobile) male employee was not confident operating the POS System and keep push work to the female employee. Both were not good combination or team. female employee was annoyed, unprofessional when taking orders. I could read her face that she really want to go home.

I've been coming here for years and the experience has noticeably declined for the past year or two. They seem to never have any sushi a couple hours to close and today they closed 15 minutes early and tried giving me some long explanation about the grill and a delivery tomorrow...not impressed at this once awesome location. :(

This was my second time eating at this particular establishment, to say it was good is a lie. I'f i could I would provide a negative 5 rating. The first time i attended this establishment it was roughly around 9pm, i was with my spouse and we walked in and their were 4-5 employees dancing around bellowing out the lyrics to whatever song was playing over the radio- myself and my spouse ordered our food and proceeded to go sit down as we decided we would eat in- when our number was called, mind you we had been the only two patrons in the establishment they provided our food to us in to go bags- the girl who took our order didn't even bother to ask whether or not it was to go or to stay- I had ordered spring rolls as i began to eat my spring rolls It became cold and frozen in the middle- unbelievable that the staff cared more about messing around with each other than serving the patrons cooked food. Tonight i was hungry and had been on the road all day, unable to wait until I got home mind you is deep south i decided to stop at this Edo again- tonight their had only been 2 employee's working, the cook and the front counter person, mind you who was dealing with multiple skip the dishes orders and in waiting for my dinner to go the front counter employee sent back several orders to the cook as they had been incorrect- well my order sat on the counter for 3-5 minutes as the cook had completed his orders and began to horse around and distract the front order employee- she finally had to tell him to please assist with my order, he placed sauce on my 2 scoop rice which mind you I could have cooked more rice at home than i paid for from the cook- before i leave i double check to ensure everything is in the bag and they didn't even bother to provide me with a fork or spoon i had to ask- I went to my vehicle to enjoy my meal and low and behold it was ICE COLD- unbelievable that you pay close to 15$ for a meal and it is served to you stone cold. Never will I purchase food from this establishment ever again
