Everything was amazing. I came here yesterday with my friend and I wanted to give him special dining experience since we have not seen each other for a while. We ordered calamari meal and Dee's platter. First, greek salad and pita bread were served. The smell of bread almost killed me. What did they use to bake the bread? It was probably the best that I have ever smelled. And the salad was also fantastic. The size of cucumber was perfect and fit in my mouth. And the portion of cheese was generous. U have not tasted calamari but my friend said that it was good. And he finished his dish so it is obviously delicious. And the lamb was so tender and meaty. I love it so much. But the portion was so small. The platter was for 2 people but the portion of lamb was closed to a single person. Maybe I will order another lamb next time. Aside from the lamb, everything was above my expectation and I am so grateful that such a great greek restaurant is near by where I live. Highly recommend!!!

The lady in the restaurant was too rude. Once we informed her that we have Entertainment book coupon, her behavior was changed. Hello, we are not here for the free food, we got the coupon!! She got the water with ice cubes inside. I asked her to remove ice and she said that you should communicate with me before. I don't have any magic power to know that the person will give me the water with ice cube or not. The food is expensive too!

TL;DR: Cozy greek place with a patio. Friendly service(but a bit understaffed). The souvlaki was great. We went around 8 on Sunday and got a patio seat without needing to wait. The server was really friendly and engaging with us. Although they were a bit understaffed at the time of the edit so it took a bit longer for them to get to us. We ordered the appy calamari, prawn and scallop souvlaki and lamb souvlaki. The calamari was fried nicely and golden crispy. The souvlaki all come with potato rice and vegetable. The price is a bit expensive but the prawn and scallop souvlaki was really good. It is a bit on the saltier side but I enjoyed it. The lamb was pretty juicy. Pleasant experience and would go back.

The food was okay with affordable prices. Our lamb was too burned at first but they replaced it immediately. The taste and the portion of food were better than other Greek Restaurants. Also recommend here to shrimp lovers as me.

My bf and I shared the Ramie's Platter. This platter can definitely serve 4 ppl comfortably. Large portions! The dishes tasted delicious. The service was extremely slow, but it was obvious that they were understaffed. Otherwise, a solid experience.

Salad had a lot of feta and tasted great, lamb was tender and juicy, and everything else was flavourful. However, I was extremely disappointed by the vegetables - seems like they pulled some vegetables out of the freezer and microwaved them. They were flavourless with a plasticy texture.

We ordered souvlaki for take out but were not able to try it. For $40 worth of food they should at least provide us with essentials like forks and napkins. Was a bit disappointed to find that out at the beach.

I ordered the seafood dinner. It was overcooked so badly that the salmon was not edible, and the rest was tough. When I told the waitress she said " I'm sorry". No offer to replace it, no refund, partial or otherwise. I wound up paying $25.00 for some veg, salad, rice, and 2 barely edible prawns. My partner's chicken was overcooked as well, but she managed to choke down half of it as she was very hungry. I would highly recommend that you avoid this place like the plague.

Wow wow wow. Adorable little place and prices are better than some of the more trendier Greek places.some of the best calamari I've had and the lamb dinner was outstanding. Service was prompt and friendlier. I may have to make this restaurant a regular thing.

I love this mediterranean restaurant. Each time I visited here, I left with a happy smile and satisfied stomach. Dishes are delicious and generously served. Prices are reasonable. Dolmates (in the photo) is highly recommended.

Came here with my girlfriend for dinner. Ordered the calamari and lamb/chicken skewer. Both were great. The tzatziki was great, and the food cooked to perfection. Definitely a place I would recommend and come back to.

First time and also the last time. The bill for was almost 70 bucks but tasted worse than a 10 buck-fast food meal. The food was bland, greasy and undercooked. My husband and I got really sick afterwards because they used too much oil, I think. The cheesecake was so bad, it was supposed to be a New York style one but turned out so gross that we couldn’t even have the second bite. We can’t believe that we paid money to get sick. Too bad that it was on our wedding anniversary too.

Ordered on Uber eats. I like the keftedes the most. The lasagna is also good. Roast lamb is tender. However, I don’t like how the calamari is cooked. It is good if you like the style.

A cute little place on the inside but food was sadly lacking. I love moussaka but the one here was tough as leather, felt like it had been reheated from frozen. Veggies also tasted frozen. Just really sub par quality ingredients with little flavour, care or effort.

Ramie’s Greek Restaurant is a well-established restaurant on Kingsway that we’ve visited on a number of occasions. Usually, we wind up ordering one of their special platters for take-out (really a good option if you’re looking to try a bunch of different items). However, we came here for dine-in service in September for an impromptu date night. Instead of their platters, we just opted for their regular menu and ordered the Moussaka ($17.95) and Ouzo Mushroom Chicken ($18.95 + $3 to sub for lasagna and Caesar salad). Before our main dishes came out, they brought out some freshly made pita bread. Why does pita bread taste so good when it’s fresh and then like cardboard 5 minutes later? The moussaka is always a favourite for us when we come here and made with eggplant, zucchini, and bechamel sauce. They also include rice, potato, veggies, and a greek salad to boot. I’ve never had the ouzo mushroom chicken here before and I was surprised at the size of the lasagna that this came with. The chicken was quite tender and smothered by a nice sauce. On a subsequent visit, I decided to finally try their Greek Ribs. Being used to the more common bbq-style ribs, I found the Greek-style ribs here to be drier and not as fall-off-the-bone tender that I would have liked. Still, the ribs were fairly flavourful. If you’re looking for Greek food in Burnaby, make sure you check out Ramie’s.

A really pleasant surprise. So many Greek restaurants lay on the kitsch but disappoint with their cooking, but Ramie's was an exception! Prices were really reasonable, service friendly and quick, and the food tasted homemade. Veggies were clearly not right out of a freezer bag; the Greek salad was prepared for the plate and not scooped out of a prep bin. The potato was garlicky and crispy. Meat was nicely seasoned and tender. Everything was fresh and delicious. We will be back.

I'm so unhappy with the order i had received last night on 29 Feb 2020 by Skip the dishes in the night around 9.34 PM . I have attached the picture of my order and the food i have received. I ordered one Roast Lamb and one Garlic Prawns. The food was very dry and there was no taste at all. It looked like the left over food. I couldn't eat a bite of it. It's really annoying that i have to pay $44.00 for the food i couldn't even eat. I'm definitely never gonna order again from this restaurant. It was the worst experience.

Great service 10/10. The roast lamb was 8/10. Sides (rice, vegetable, salad 4/10), Calamari 8/10. Is a bit pricy. You'll easily find more value/larger portion elsewhere. They do have 1/2 price appetizer 3-6pm.

As much as I want to support this restaurant because I live 5 mins away and it's been around for years and years, I think this is the last time that I would go. I've ordered calamari dinner at least 10 times here and it's gotten progressively worse. As you can see from my picture the calamari was dry and clumped together and it was like chewing old gum. Not tasty at all for $20 a portion. What a shame...

My family occasionally dined in for special occasions and when we were craving Greek food. Recently did take out (pictured are the Roast Lamb and Moussaka House Specials) for dinner, and it was satisfying! The price points are higher but the dinners come with a lot, so it was enough for me to eat for lunch the following day. Their take out flyer also provides a 10% off which helps! It was my first time trying their Moussaka, it was so comforting, similar to a shepherd's pie which is a favourite comfort food. I'd highly recommend this dish (the béchamel sauce was so good!). Ramie's is our favourite spot for Greek food in the area.

Great food and staff. Definitely a neighborhood restaurant, seemed like most of the patrons were repeat customers. Super friendly staff. I had the lamb souvlaki and it was cooked to perfection. I'm watching carbs and they accommodated me with extra salad and veggies. Generous portions so go hungry.

We got seated fairly quickly and got our food in a timely manner. It gets busy here around dinner time so I'd come early. There's parking behind the restaurant which was nice because it was raining that day. We got the lamb souvlaki, lemon chicken and calamari. The lamb was juicy, tender and flavourful. Their tzatziki sauce tasted like it was homemade which is always a bonus. The lemon chicken was alright and we demolished that calamari! Only issue that made it lose a star is because we got seated right before another table and by the time we had finished eating and paid the check, they still hasn't gotten served. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I don't know if that was based on the timing of their order, what they ordered, how many people were in their party (4) but I felt really bad for them and I could tell they weren't happy with waiting that long either.

I haven’t had a chance to dine in. But their food is some of the best Greek I’ve had in a long time. Rich and tasty flavours for all their meals. I loved their roast lamb and lamb souvlaki.
