The lamb here is delicious, also tried the cold chicken dish that was decent, more of a cold spicy chicken salad, but definitely will be back for the lamb stir fry!

Not a huge menu, but I kinda like that. Had the Chow Meefen and a slice of Honey Cake. The Chow Meefen is like udon noodles in a spicy shredded chicken and celery sauced noodle dish. Unique spices... Possibly cumin in it? Very big portion, currently $16. If you don't eat spicy foods, this is not for you. The Honey Cake, currently $8, was not a big portion, but tasted moist, light and not too sweet with a subtle honey flavour. Looking forward to trying more from this restaurant.

Uyghur kavap was tasty and well portioned, the lamb and naan that my friend had was too small of a portion to be satisfying but both cost the same. And at 17 cad (including tax and standard tip) per portion it isn't priced as an appetizer. People were friendly.

I have ordered different meals a few times and I really like this restaurant's way of cooking and servicing. I am well familiar with Uyghur cuisine and I can confirm their menu is authentic and delicious. Another thing I like is that they prepare any order quickly and deliver it well packaged in a signature bag. The only thing I would like to see is if they can work through lunch time, if possible. This would help me order meals for my lunch as well.

Mezze has such authentic Uyghur foods, it’s hard not to keep going back for more. The ingredients are fresh, the foods taste heavenly! Especially the big plate chicken and cold shredded chicken are my all time favourite, my kids LOVE their plov & honey cake! A must go hidden gem, highly recommend it!

Takeout Dinner from @mezze_uyghurcuisine ! It's a very different type of halal Uyghur cuisine than Beijiang. We got the Cold Shredded Chicken and Uyghur Polo. The chicken was done similar to Sichuan mala style, very spicy and very flavourful. I highly recommend getting a side of rice to go with this dish. The Polo was rice with meat, currents, carrots, and onions. I really want to try their honey cake and other menu items. Authentic Authentic Authentic! Cozy little takeout place for a quick Halal meal grab! You HAVE to try their Chow Mee Fen! Very generous portion and flavorful. The noodles have an awesome texture with the crunchiness of the celery and the chicken really bring the dish together! You can adjust the spicy level based on your spice tolerance. This place is the best I will be back for sure!

Noticed this new Uyghur resto as it's near my workplace. Finally stopped in yesterday. Owner was very friendly and helpful. Had the Uyghur kavap, Cold Noodle (which was not really cold, wonder why, but still very tasty), and samsa. All very delicious, can taste the cumin indeed. Will go back for more! Love to support local!

I'm excited that they are finally open, though still somewhat a "soft" opening as some items are not yet available. Uyghur Kavap - lamb is well spiced and good cut of meat with decent fat marbling. Comes with nan bread that soaks up some of the skewer juices. Uyghur Polo - really moist and flavoured, though tastes even better with some of the provided yogurt and homemade chili oil (I need a big jar of this!) Mezze Cold Noodle - my favourite dish of the bunch. Again, mix in some of the chili oil and it's just perfect. I can't wait to try the rest of the menu!

Was looking forward to trying this place as soon as it opened! Food is very delicious and authentic, everything is freshly made and with flavor. Finished the naan before we got home ???? the samsa was also yummy and the rice was on the sweeter side. The honey layered cake satisfies and they had a coconut drink that comes in a juice box that was expensive but really good! Would definitely come back!

First time trying uyghur cuisine. Came across this randomly while looking for a halal restaurant close to Deer Lake. And what a find! You know how sometimes you see a picture of a menu item on restaurant website, and when you get the real thing, it is really disappointing? Well not in this restaurant. The actual items looked just like on the website.. and tasted even better than I had imagined while looking at said pictures. Tried the Chow Mee Fen and Chicken Kebab. Was the best chicken kebab I have ever had. And the Mee Fen hit the spot: spicy, tasty, delicious. Will definitely come back to try the other items on the menu. There is not a lot on the menu, but if that means they can focus on the quality of the items they do have, then I have no problems at all with that.

Check your bag if you’re doing takeout with them! We went there today for a takeout order and their front of store can’t seem to get their act together. First they entered an item other than the Cold Noodle and had to flag with the kitchen the input error. Second we got home and found that they did not include the Nan we ordered. Tried contacting the restaurant by phone and they wouldn’t pick up. They have different numbers listed on Google vs their receipts. Guys need to get their act together. ????????

Small take out place but delicious food. Authentic Uyghur cuisine so it’s gonna be spicy. Brace yourself. Chicken & Lamb noodles were cooked really well. The owner did warn me about the spice level, so thank you ???????? The honey cake is definitely on repeat, not too sweet or loaded with sugar. Just right.

Never tried Uyghur cuisine before this place. It is unique and amazing, glad I got a chance to try it. I tried their Stir Fried noodles, chow mee fun, and Uyghur kavap. Stir fried noodles are my favourite. Portions are good. Have been ordering this place on Ubereats. The food is packed well and always fresh.

Drove 35mins to try this place out. Small shop with very little seating space but very clean.. they don't allow dine in due to covid anyways. There's no phone # to call just a chat option (which I got no reply btw) and an online menu. Some items were not available for order on their website so I had to use doordash to select those items and select 'pick up at store' option. The noodles in BAN MEI FUN were very crunchy. Idk if its meant to be like that or it was undercooked which was a turn off but the flavors on top were delicious. The Samsa was the most delicious item on the menu, keep in mind they are on the smaller side. The polo tastes similar to uzbek palao (also very delicious). Overall the flavors were good.. Just a few technical issues with missing pH # and missing menu items on their website under 'order' section. Edit : UPDATED stars Thank you for being proactive and professional about the concerns your customers have. *Adding a ph #, I tried it from door dash was an Ontario # but at least there's a better form of communication now. *Will definitely try again and ask for well done noodles next time (I don't mind chewy, just not crunchy) *Menu still missing items under order section online. Ban Mei fun, Samsa, and cake are missing in selection menu.

Ordered from here and was really blown away with the amazing quality of the food! The lamb with naan was delicious, and the chicken and rice dish was truly exceptional, so much flavour, if you ever sell this chili oil I will happily buy a bottle! Tried for the first time yesterday and had plov and spicy fried noodle. Both were quite delicious I would recommend both of them. People are also quite friendly. Interesting that they are open for 6 months and I never noticed them before. Will be coming again to try other dishes.

The food is awesome. Everything is spicy so beware. The blue can of horse milk like pop is actually a tangy yogurty drink that is the perfect compliment to the spicy food. Prices are a bit high and food is borderline too spicy otherwise it would be 5 stars. Had the Uyghur kevap, chow me fen and the unnamed drink. Will be back to try the honey cake.

Samsa is sooo good that you do not want to share with anyone! Polo is delicious and owner is very friendly and nice to offer chicken instead of other kind of meat when I asked him for other options with noodles. I used to drive all the way to Coquitlam for authentic Uyghur food. Now it's just in the neighbourhood, too bad you are not open weekdays lunch otherwise I will order it for the lunch at work. Will definitely swing by to try other items soon to support local business!

Food is good but portions are not sufficient for a person depending on whichever meal you order. No dine-in which makes the whole experience isn’t as satisfying and the prices seem high without dine-in option. We ordered two meals but only told last minute that one of them was unavailable after we paid. We were told to substitute for other meals but the owner did not offer to refund if we chose a cheaper meal.

Delicious food, friendly staff. The store has no dine-in seating - the food is for pick-up or delivery only, which speaks to how focused and confident they are in their food. I have tried quite a few items on their menu, and I am always pleasantly surprised with how good each dish is. My favorites thus far have been the Lamb skewers and the Cold Noodles. Prices are a bit on the higher side, but you definitely get what you pay for in terms of quality. Highly recommended.

It’s so amazing to see an authentic Uyghur restaurant in Vancouver! We had tried most of the dishes so far, all are tasted awesome!Especially, Polov and Kebabs are my favourite, super delicious, must try! Will go for rest of the dishes as soon as possible! We ordered big plate chicken stew online, price is $46+ tax. For the take out restaurant, the price is quite expensive. We assuming it will include noodles, should be 2-4 servings, but when we go to pick up at 6pm, server told us noodle sold out today, give us one Non (light and thin bread) instead. The bread even not enough for 1 people. Even chicken for whole portion around 15 pieces. No discount and no apologize.To be honest the taste is good. But i can choose to go to Beijing Kingsway get bigger portion, better teste and cheaper price.
