The food was so average but the atmosphere was awful, it smelled so bad inside so we had to order for takeout but the packaging and the quality of donair chicken and mixed plate were both so poor!

I have ordered it on a busy day thought there would delay due to rush but they've delivered it swiftly and they did serve nicely seasoned halal meat, rice with some salad and bread.

There are so many options but my favorite is Kabuli Pulao ($13). It is super tender, melt in your mouth lamb shank with a bed of delicious rice cooked with sweet sweet carrots and raisins. Comes with a side of salad, pita and not one, but 3 very generous portions of different sauces and dips. The garlic dip is really really good. You order, pay and pick up your food at the counter. There are about 5 tables and some window booth seats in the restaurant (self serve). It's unfortunate they're not in my location zone for Skip the Dishes, I'd order this for lunch all the time. Taste: 5/5 Service: N/A Value: 5/5

I only write reviews when it’s really bad. This place was really bad. The portion was tiny. The meat was dry. And this was the worst falafel I’ve ever had. They also make their falafel in a weird donut shape. You’re literally better off going anywhere else.

LOVED my meal here. I had the special platter which had chicken and beef mixed with rice (has raisins in it) and salad and sauces. It was one of the most delicious dinners I have had in a while. Great big portion and a reasonable price. My husband had the Lamb Shank and he loved it. My daughter had a small chicken donair and she said it was so delicious. The Turkish Coffee was good and strong and served in beautiful little cups. This place is busy...so you may have to wait a little bit. It is so worth it. Do yourself a favour and check this place out!!

My wife and I had two beef platters ( one regular and spicy), one tuboli salad and two Turkish coffees. Everything was great and the prices are very reasonable. We had ordered here before for donairs and they were great. We will happily come back again. Service was quick and polite and good customer service on order taking on the phone.

Family operated spot for good food cooked caringly. I’ve come here many times, decided to bring some friends from out of town. They were not disappointed, both with the welcoming attitude of the family working behind the counter as well as the quality of the food. These guys take great pride in the food they serve, and it shows.

I have tried the entire menu. The Lamb Shank was really good. The Chicken Wrap and Adana Platter are my favourites. The Turkish Afghan Special is really interesting but you would have to eat in for that. The toasted crunchy bread under the dish adds to the experience. This restaurant does huge takeout business both from people ordering in store and from delivery services. Keep that in mind if you go there during peak lunch or dinner time. Call ahead to assess the situation if you're trying to eat in. For takeout, definitely give them a buzz first. I've had zero service issues. In fact, the new owners are better than the last business that was here and by a long way. What's different? The delicious Garlic Sauce and the Pickles they add to the wraps. What could be better? The Hot Sauce could be better and much spicier as it has no real bite or extra flavour to it.

I always order the kabuli palao with the lamb shank - the lamb is so unbelievably tender and the rice is super flavourful. One of my favourite places to order from. Staff & manager are always nice and accomodating.

Bland food. No taste whatsoever. Safeway hummus has more flavour. Same goes for Chicken, and is dry. Full plate comes with 1/4 pita? Too bad no other middle eastern restaurant are around here. Go elsewhere.

Food is not bad. Not a lot of flavor or spices which is good for people who like to have it that way. Staff at the location are nice and everything looks pretty clean. Service for take out took about 15 min which is pretty good.

I have been here a handful of times and it never ceases to disappoint. The large wraps are indeed large and packed with tasty meat veggies and all the sauces you desire. Although interactions are usually limited, the staff are always polite and friendly. Check it out!

Delicious food! It was so fresh when ordered over Uber eats. The salad was extremely fresh and I enjoyed every bite. It was a super healthy meal to help me stay fit through the pandemic. Finally, it was prepared with so much care and not just thrown together. Kudos to the restaurant and Uber driver for paying attention to detail. Highly recommended!!!

I was around East Hastings Thursday night and saw the sign. There were at least ten people dining. The place seemed so busy for take out. I tried the lamb shank with rice, salad, Pita and hummus. Quite good. The tea was also good.

Stopped by for dinner. It was not busy on Tuesday around 7:30 so our meal was ready shortly after we ordered. The Mix Plate was delicious for $11.95 and good to share for 2 or a big meal for 1. It was a mix of beef and chicken meat on top of plain rice. It was served with a small lettuce salad, small pieces of pita and garlic sauce, hummus and tzatziki. The food was very flavorful. Portions are generous and the staff are so helpful. I would be back to try their other dishes Lots of street parking nearby !

Haven't been here for many years, and came back for take out. Ordered through Skip the Dishes, there was a hick up where I ordered 5 hours ahead and either the restaurant or Skip the Dishes failed to notify me that one of their items weren't available. Good thing I received a call from the restaurant, and accomodated me with something else on the menu. I would come back for their lamb shank, so yummy. I would recommend just ordering through the restaurant instead of through an ordering service like Skip the Dishes. It simplifies things a lot more.

Very flavorful and delicious. I noticed the food were salty which I like. Most restaurants these days put extra salt in order to make their food more flavors but this place just right. The environment is more like a quickie meal. Great selection of pop.

I went there to grab something for home while I was waiting for a bus. The customer service was amazing and did NOT (that’s right you read NOT) stop once I paid the bill and walked out of the store with my food. I noticed it was quicker for me to catch a different bus so I ran across the street to make it in time, what I did not notice is that I had left my backpack with personal belongings at the restaurant. A worker ran outside doing what they could to get my attention and handed my bag back to me :) Once I got home the food was amazing and the deserts they recommended (they have a lot) were extremely good
