Good, but not great. Food has a very generous amount of oil, too generous. The bread that comes with the food could be better. Considering its freshly made it doesn't feel fresh, actually feels dry. So, maybe either make the bread a bit thicker or less time in the oven to retain some moisture. Lastly, the food is certainly overpriced. Each item considering its quantity and lack of sides is about 15% more than than it should be.

We had such a great experience this place. Its a gem in the heart of Burlington. By far we haven't been to such an awesome Turkish restaurant in GTA. The food is so delicious and the owner/chef Gul is so humble, courteous and also apologized for being short staffed and also for delays. Our server was also very kind and so welcoming. Really admired the ambiance.

One of my favorite restaurants! Fresh food and very welcoming and friendly staff. The food is so delicious that you know it's been made with love! I love Tavuk Sis Kebab (marinated chicken skewers served with rice). If you have a sweet tooth, you have to try Rose's baklava and kunefe for dessert! Super fresh and delightful! Yes, I recommend Rose in the Kitchen!

It was our first visit to Rose in The Kitchen, and we had a warm welcome by server Amelie. We ordered lentil soup and it’s supposed the served with flat bread, but We didn’t received it. We had to ask for the flat bread. We were served it after a while, but it was stale bread. However soup was good. We ordered the Turkish su böreği, it was good too, and then we served chicken şiş kebap and grilled meatball which served with a bulgur rice and regular rice. The two starches was not necessary. ????The chicken was so dry and tasteless.The meatball was as hard as rock. We paid $75 which is not worth it for the food we had. I don’t think so we will go back again.

Went to this place yesterday and just LOVED it !!!... both the food and the environment. Staffs were very nice and helpful. Foods were excellent, cooked instantly, so they were warm, fresh and juicy. The owner, the nice Lady (sorry, forgot her name), the head Chef, was very nice, friendly and wearing traditional Turkish dress, which made the environment more homely (Turkish). The price seemed reasonable and the place was very neat and clean. Loved their traditional Iskender Kebab, Sarma and Lahmacun. Also liked the desserts and special Turkish lemonade. Highly recommended.

Stopped by for a quick bite... The owner, Rose made this quick stop a memorable experience, proper authentic Turkish food with genuine hospitality. Rose was very accommodating with what we can order, she went off menu and made us a wonderful hearty cheese pide. The sujuk omlette was full of flavour and the tea was great ... I highly recommend visiting. Rose puts all her heart into the food and you can really tell. Will be coming back for sure.

I'm giving this 2 stars because the restaurant at least eventually fully refunded us for our meal. We ordered for pickup and drove all the way from Milton, so unfortunately didn't realize the disaster of our order until we got home. Our Iskendar Kabab did not come with any yogurt or red sauce, which is the main part of the dish. It was dry and cold meat served with cold bread, which was inedible. Additionally, they did not add any vegetables as mentioned in the menu with our Adana Kabab order. When I mentioned this on my call with them, they just would not believe me, which I found rude. Why would I lie...? Lastly, we wanted the sigaro borek, but they mentioned it would take time, but they can offer sometime exactly the same but in a different shape. My husband agreed, but once we got home and tried it, it was something completely different and did not taste the same at all. We were provided with false information to buy something we did not want. All in all, we had a horrible experience with this restaurant and they messed up every part of our order. I would not be writing this review if they did not push back on offering me a full refund. They doubted my claims and had multiple phone calls with me in order for me to finally get my deserved refund. Will not be ordering from here again.

This restaurant serves authentic Turkish food and cuisine . They specialize in their kebabs and grilled chicken. It's a causy and nice place for family and friends to have dinner at. All their food is halal and delicious and the workers there are very nice friendly. I really do reccomend this restaurant and I'm excited to visit them soon.

We went to eat breakfast at the restaurant, and the experience was horrible. The food is not fresh, and overpriced, the owner was dry and disrespectful. There were many misunderstandings that weren't cleared up properly. We wanted to order manakeesh with cheese, as was stated in the menu. However, we were served another dish that was DOUBLE the price of the manakeesh we had ordered. The waitress was very nice, and she called the owner to clear up the misunderstanding. We asked whether they served cheese manakeesh and the owner said they didn't (they only sold cheese pide which was DOUBLE THE PRICE of manakeesh for something VERY similar). This was very confusing as it was CLEARLY stated in the menu that cheese manakeesh were an option. The owner was very dry, and didn't explain anything properly to us. The poor waitress was scared of the owner, as the owner seemed to treat her rudely. The owner restated our order, completely eliminating any cheese dishes that we wanted. She didn't even apologize, nor give any compensation dishes for the confusion. Her attitude the whole time was unfriendly and unkind. Later, since cheese manakeesh wasn't an option, we ordered cheese pide for DOUBLE THE PRICE. The dish was not fresh, and HUGELY OVERPRICED. All the other food cooled down quickly and wasn't enjoyable to eat. The hummus was HORRIBLE, with a rough consistency, NOTHING of which hummus should be, and on top of that it was $8! (It was most definitely canned) Overall, horrible food, menus with wrong food on them, rude owner (who seemed to treat her workers horribly, the kind waitress avoided us the rest of the time after the mistake). We payed over $50 for cold food, and disgusting customer service. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!

Amazing authentic Turkish cuisine. The food is delicious and the balaclava are mouth watering. The pricing is high but the quality of food easily justifies it. Would recommend this place for small families, but there is one large table that can hold 16 people easily.

One of the worst experience with Turkish food. Ordered Iskandar kabab and Adna kabab (so called their specialty). Both were below average and we decided to order Humus and bread for survival but Humus was even more worst. Humus from walmart is better than what they served us. Bread was only thing that was little tasteful. On top of that service was super slow and had to remind staff about our order as they kept on forgetting.. Not going back again for sure.

This restaurant is very obviously very much loved and cared for by the owner who takes pride in her food. My friend and I had the Anatolian breakfast spread and it was a LOT of food, however we didn't get the omelete until almost the end of the meal so that was kind of a bummer. Desserts were also a little disappointing -- the portions were so tiny for the price of the baklava. Overall still a pretty decent meal and I would visit again to support local!

We had birthday party the other day, one of my friend advised me to order via Rose and not to get into any stress before the party... Experience was great and It was exactly what my friend had described... No hassle ,stress free experience definitely... Rose has best taste of collection in town without any doubt. Birthday had close to 45 people but her tray portions were big enough to feed everybody... Desserts, Baklava, and Pie are the best. Ordering with Rose i was able to focus on my wife's birthday, save some time and enjoy the day. I highly recommend this place who is looking for convenient, authentic taste and perfection... We ordered for the 1st time from this restaurant knowing that we will get to experience authentic Turkish but it was an utter disappointment. I wish I could have better words to praise about the taste but the disappointment went on from appetizer to main course... main delight has always been Adana Kebab but for some reason it was so dry and tasteless. Iskendar was in my experience not really Iskendar as it was quite chewy. I wish I could say good words but I pay to enjoy good food and if it doesn't end like such it becomes real disappointment. They need to change their chef for sure...

Decided to stop in and get takeout. Never had Turkish food but we love to try new things. Every thing was made fresh to order & so you have to wait for it. I know good food takes time but it was super nice that I was offered a nice strong hot tea while I waited. Got the Manti and Karniyarik on recommendation. The first being something we've definitely never had before - mini beef dumplings in some sort of yogurt sauce. It was so delicious I couldn't stop eating it. Tangy and savoury at the same time. The other dish was stuffed eggplant with rice. Also very tasty and flavourful. We're excited to try more off the menu and I was eyeing the cookies and desserts for next time. Worth a visit if you haven't had Turkish food but enjoy middle eastern flavours.

Such a lovely place to eat Turkish food which I love. The owner is serving by herself and she is so nice and friendly. Food taste great. We ordered the mix platter for 4 people but it is not enough for 4 adults if you are hungry. The ride Budding is amazing with cinnamon. Turkish coffee is super after this heavy meal .

Waitress was very rude. She took half an hour to take my family's order, only to demand we leave 5 minutes after serving the last part of the order saying that the next customers needed to be seated. Left with the waitress screaming. EDIT: The response the owner gave is invalid. We made our reservation at 11:30pm and when we got there they claimed that it was at 11:00 which it was not. They clearly mixed up our reservation with someone else which is extremely unprofessional. In addition, we were waiting for them to take our order, they took a while to settle in to their own restaurant and we were patiently waiting for them to take the order. I am only writing this edit as a fair warning to people who make reservations at this restaurant.

My food was disgusting. Bread was freezing cold. And everything smelled nasty. It was not fresh. No flavour, not authentic Turkish food. Disgusting food. Everything was disposed. Rice was really nasty and old. I will never come here or recommend this place. Don’t waste your money. Shame on you guys for cheating people. Garlic was not used in any food.

The costs for most of the food items are not compatible with other leading eateries. e.g. A 3 $ comparable lintel soup is served at 10$. A 3-3.5 $ skewer is also served at 10 $ per piece average, etc etc. The food is not of the type alike videos seen online for Turkish food. No gravy item offered despite request by non turkish clients. The one and the only great thing was Turkish Tea PS* Dont expect from the server boy to give you plates/ glasses as per the number of guests. Please also do not expect to get the refill of plain water as it's free.

Established where previously was a convenience store, the owners take pride in their freshly cooked food. Perfect portions, nicely cooked and amazing flavour is what we got. And, at the end, we can't just leave a Turkish restaurant without having their traditional Turkish coffee. Just one word: amazing!!!

Reminds me of Turkey! Super fresh and authentic - You can taste the love in each bite. The Şekerpare is some of the best I've had. FYI Rose, Uber Eats doesn't let you order baklava, it asks you to choose between walnut or pistachio but there's no option to choose either! May want to look into that!

This is one of the worst restaurants I’ve been in to..and I mean not in Canada only! We ordered Anatolian breakfast for two and everything is wrong with it. First of, the whole breakfast table were ready in 1 minute after we ordered it, which means they prepared everything beforehand maybe hours earlier. Turkish buns (pogaca) were out of microwave after the freezer, sausage was cold, fries are from freezers of Wholesale Club(which are the cheapest and bad taste fries out there), Turkish sausage with scrambled eggs tasted really weird and tea was cold as well. And we had to pay $57 for this disaster breakfast. I don’t know how current rating for this place is 4.7 but I believe people should come forward to share their bad experiences. Restaurants like this should be shut down for good! Worst restaurant ever!

Have gone for baklava and some of the sweets which are good. We recently had a few of their kabab dishes. They were ok, nothing special. I will however say the prices for these dishes are outrageous. We ordered 4 dishes and it came to just under $90. I have felt bad for this business as I never see anyone it. Now I see why. I don't see this place lasting with these prices. Much better middle eastern food choices available, particularly across the street, for much less. Will not be back.

It was my worst eat out experience! I had planned a nice day with my family and kids. After spending some time out shopping and having fun we decided to have a Turkish dinner in Burlington before we go home. But my night turned out to be a nightmare! The rice was totally sticky and mash. It was just likr they had forgotten the rice in the boiling water and served like that. And kofte was burnt and came in the carbon form.. I have read the comments below and I cannot believe if it was the same place. Its been 6 hours now but I still feel the sandy taste from the meat of kofte. Money is not the issue for me, but they don't deserve even a penny of it! When I showed them the rice and the meat she told me that their chef was sick so there was nobody to cook! Then if you dont know how to cook why do you open and can still ask for money! As I came home I had to run to the washroom as I had the runs. I will complain about this place.

Rose In The Kitchen | Burlington Officially our new favorite place for breakfast! If you're ever in Burlington or passing by, this place is worth checking out! Mashaallah, this spread for two didn't disappoint. Everything was absolutely delicious and perfect. We got the Anatolian breakfast which includes everything seen here except the the beef börek, I wanted to try the spinach feta börek (my favorite ????) but they were all out unfortunately. The Anatolian breakfast was perfect for two and included sujuk, omelette with sujuk, fries, various jams and cheeses, olives, cucumbers, tomatoes, and bread. I love that there's such a variety of things so I can mix it up with the different flavors presented. Of course there was plenty of çay too! But can we talk about Rose? She is such a kind and welcoming person mashaallah. We talked about her restaurant and her hardwork in making this dream come true. She is honest and cares so much about her food and customers. We got to talk a bit about Turkish history and I got to practice my Turkish food words with her ???? May Allah keep her restaurant successful and full of happy customers, ameen. I really can't wait to go back to try the rest of the menu lol

I decided to check this place out with my kids, we are not familiar with the type of food served or sold but I wanted to try something new. We went in for some desserts for after dinner (take out) the only one of three that I can name properly is the orange cake, and OMG all three were amazing! My boys aged 13 and 9 loved them as did I, not too sweet but just enough, you can tell that a lot of love was put into these amazing desserts! We will be going back for the full experience very soon! Please give this place a try and it will be your new favorite place in Burlington!

Incredibly dissapointed with my experience here. The food was very mediocre and cold, I found myself having to cover my food in salt and pepper to even get some sort of flavor. Also the service was awful, the waiter was in a rush despite the restaurant being virtually empty, we would request something and before we even got a chance to finish our sentence she would walk away. To Make my experience even worse I was greeted with a ridiculous bill that did not equate to the value of the food or service at all. This was an awful experience and I will not be returning to this restaurant.

Awful service experience with the owner and everyone working there. We kept waiting to be served and had to wait 25 minutes before someone finally came to serve us. On top of all this, the server was pretty cold to us and when we wanted to order something else, she refused and told us other people are waiting and we need to leave which we found out was their friends. This was after only being in the restaurant for around 40 mins. 25 of those minutes waiting for someone to take our order and another 10 minutes waiting for the food to come to our table. They expect us to eat our food in 5 - 10 minutes and inmediately leave so they can accommodate their friends!?? I've never had such a horrible experience such as this at any restaurant I've been to. Not only making us wait 25 minutes to serve us but also refusing to add to our order since we need to leave as others are waiting......who just happen to be their friends.....(the total limit we where told was 70 minutes however we where only inside the restaurant for 40 mins).

This review is rather late, as it has been about two weeks since I was here, for which I apologize. Very nice restaurant with great atmosphere and very friendly and attentive staff. Rose, the owner, took the time to come out to speak with us as well and tell us a bit about her dream of starting a restaurant. The food is wonderful and totally authentic Turkish. I had manti and Turkish fruit flavoured soda, and I couldn’t recommend it enough. There are all types of Turkish deserts to finish your dinner with, and the selection changes daily. Open until 11pm every day. Go try it out, it’s awesome!

Initially i was thrilled that a Turkosh restaurant opened in Burlington, as I always drive 45min to North York to eat at Mustafa Turkish Kebap... So I ordered the same items that i typically order, especially Iskender. Besides the fact that its about half the portion amd about 10prcnt more expensive the taste is ZERO compared to Mostafa!! I felt sick actually and didnt eat anything for the next 30hours! Horrible experience at this place..will not recomment to anyone and will never repeat

We went to rose kitchen recently and did not have a good experience to say the least. At first out waitress was really new, she had us seated and didn’t offer us water or anything. We ordered 3 dishes for 3 of us, my dish showed up after an hour and my husband and kid’s didn’t show up until 2 hours later. It was really horrible situation. The restaurant did not offer us any bread or anything so I had to share my food with my husband and kid. My food was ok but my husband and kid’s dishes didn’t taste very good. We wanted to order tea but decided to just leave. Although we didn’t have tea there they actually included it in the bill, had I not noticed it we would have paid for it. While we were there the restaurant got busy and they started doing a tons of rearrangement making us feel quite uncomfortable. All in all bad experience, will not go back again.

I visited after 2 years and I am not sure if it's because of the COVID-19 but the quality of the dishes seem to have dipped, I had 4 guests and thought it would be a good idea to bring them here but I was deeply embarrassed even after spending $200 for a group of 5. We had to wait more than an hour to get our food and we were not even offered water but we had to ask for it (Never received it), my guests literally ended up going to their car to bring water . Nothing we ordered tasted right. Iskender and doner were incredibly awful, Iskender was nothing close to anything I had before as a Turkish person. I really wish I took my guests elsewhere... If you are looking to try Turkish food this is not the right place.

Beautiful Turkish cafe serving homemade style Turkish style breakfast, lunch and dinner. Definitely a unique experience in Burlington with freshly baked steaming hot bread and pastries brought to the table along with your order in little baskets. Lots of items on the menu I cant wait to try including plenty of options for vegetarians. I would to recommend the spinach filled pastries and the saksuka salad. Heard about this restaurant & was pleasantly surprised! Delicious manti done with beef, but would prefer lamb which is more traditional. Spinach burek was lovely & the bread tasted good (would be even better warm!)with the nice sauteed veggies as a complimentary app. Rose is a wonderful & helpful host & owner. All the treats and savoury items we chose were super delicious. I can't wait to go back for an actual meal and see what the items on the menu are like. ‘Rose in the Kitchen’ is a quaint, family friendly, Turkish restaurant. Came here with my husband on a Sunday afternoon and we were served promptly by the lovely owner herself. I had the doner wrap and my husband had the chicken kebab plate. Chicken was well seasoned and fresh. The pastries were nice and flakey. Recommend the spinach and beef borek!

Outstanding and unique taste. The food was truly exceptional. Rose is the sweetest and she emits all the mom vibes ! The kitchen is really single handedly ran by her and you can tell from the taste of each dish that it was personably and freshly made by her. I can not recommend this enough. One point though, BE AWARE of the pepper served, it is lethally hot (I learned the hard way). Bonus points supporting small family ran businesses!

I don't usually write reviews but I felt I had to. Out of all the Turkish restaurants I have been to (in Canada and UAE, over 15), this is by far the worst in terms of food quality. The services was great, the environment was great (albeit in the midst of COVID), and staff were friendly and prompt. My only issue was food. We tried Iskander, Bayti Kebab, Lentil soup, and that lamb with eggplant dish. Iskander, which was a whopping $27.99, was dry, tasteless, and portion was small compared to other restaurants - especially for the price. Bayti Kebab (another $25+ dish) was also disappointing and suffered the same issues as the Iskander, tasteless!. I have never added so much salt to a dish in my life. There was barely any tomato sauce and the yogurt portion was tiny and cold. Usually the yogurt is warm or gets warm when it is mixed with the hot food. Lentil soup ($10, this marked the most I have ever paid for a lentil soup) was very unique, it tasted nothing like lentil. All I can taste was butter. Melted butter or oil mixed with oregano or something. Finally, that lamb with eggplant dish (not sure what its called, its also $25+), was horrible and the flavours did not mix well. All I can taste was garlic and the lamb was dry and chewy hard to swallow. I swear a steak I had yesterday was softer and more moist than this lamb. Lamb is supposed to be soft, moist, falls apart. Moreover, the portion is ridiclously small!! 6 pieces of 1x1" lamb for $25+!! I don't understand all the great reviews. Maybe we ended up with a bad Chef because it was a Sunday. The good one had a day off or something. Even if that was the case, this experience was non-enjoyable at all to say the least.

WORST WORKING EXPERIENCE!!! They don't care about their own employees. Taking advantage of students in the middle of a pandemic. Respect within a workplace is essential, unfortunately this business lacks that. Not paying their employees even 7 weeks after pay-day. Every week we're given a new pay day in a 'couple days". This has been going on for weeks. Have not received a single apology or call from them since the start, something that is considered common courtesy. They are very difficult to reach, they take days to reply back if they do and it's always another lie. The workplace atmosphere is toxic, with yelling, screaming and swearing.

Ambience is good. Covid compliance was effective Staff is efficient and hospitable Halal meat is offered. Bbq was awesome in taste we ordered a platter. Local turkish soda is.must try. Just ate a meal from Rose in the Kitchen. Rice was sticky and kofta was a bit salty. Initially, I came in when the restaurant first open and it was five starts experience. I wish i had taken a picture of the portions, but i paid $25 for an entrée that had about 5 small pieces of meat on it on a plate of fries. Any other restaurant would have charged $12-15 for it. Essentially i felt like I paid $25 for a plate of fries.

Wow- and not in a good way. Placed a pick up order for lunch a few weeks ago- was told it would be ready in 20 minutes. Arrived on time to pick up but was not acknowledged at all when I entered the restaurant. Took several minutes to get someone to pay attention to me and then about 10 minutes more to get my order. The food was delicious though so I decided to give Rose in the Kitchen another chance…. Placed a dinner order at 4 pm through Skip The Dishes to be picked up at 6 pm. When my husband arrived to get the order he was told they did not have it and the staff tried to send him to a restaurant next door. When he arrived home I called and was told they had the order, had missed it and would need at least another hour to prepare it. No acknowledgement of an error, no apology. Finally at quarter to eight we had our food - cold and with an incorrect salad. Very disappointing. Felt like are business was not valued and in fact not even welcomed.

My wife and saw this resteraunt open and were intrigued... finally got to try it and was not disappointed in the least. Food was plentiful and authentic. The atmosphere was genuine. Fast forward to yesterday we notice they were offering breakfast. Not being familiar with the culture we were intrigued. We ordered the platter for 2 and I can only imagine it was as close to a true Turkish breakfast you can get. Don't expect bacon and eggs but embrace the experience. Everything was topped off with the incredibly welcoming owner who made it feel like we were her personal guests.

They have a long way to go before they learn how to operate a proper restaurant. I came here with my mom and I got plain doner. It took quite a while to come. The meat was dry and cold. It also tasted really weird. My mom took it back to the lady and she said that they didn’t have any sauce for it so they put this soup on it!! SOUP?! I was kind of upset after this especially after I waited a long time for it. They took it back and they asked if I wanted something else instead of that and I said I wanted lahmacun. Again it took a while to come. It was undercooked and when I picked it up to take a bite there was oil and grease spilling out of it like a waterfall. I was extremely upset and left hungry. I obviously did not eat it and my mom took it home because she felt bad since we paid money for it. My mom has to cook it again because it was very undercooked. They are ruining the image of Turkish food.

The beef doner was delicious - I think the little bit of fat in the meat was deliberate to give it the extra taste. The pide bread was thin and crispy and very generously topped. Even their salad was fresh and refreshing. We had a couple of Turkish sodas - one tasted almost like cream soda! Great service and very courteous staff as well. Definitely worth a trip if you're a fan of Turkish food.

Worst experience, big mistake to order from this restaurant. I ordered 2 Kunafa and 6 pieces of Burma Through Uber eats, received 2 burned kunafa and only 3 pieces of Burma. Called the restaurant for clarification; and they explained that when ever they update there menu, the menu on Uber eats doesn’t update itself ( it’s like it’s costumer fault) and no clarification for burned kunafa

Simply amazing. Easily the best halal restaurant in Burlington. SUPER TASTY, fresh food, nice presentation, very friendly staff, clean, you can't ask for anymore. Worth the drive from GTA. Even the simplest food like their fresh stone naan bread and pink salad vinaigrette is so addictive! Newly rennovated too. This place is HIGHLY recommended for everyone.

Tried this new restaurant in Burlington. Left stuffed! Rose actually told us we didn't need to order more food! Yummy. Nice atmosphere. Full kudos for accessibility, automatic door opener to the restaurant and bathroom which was spacious. Rose was warm and friendly. The food definitely good. Will absolutely go again many times. More dishes to try.

This place has blown Turkish cuisine out of the water. Rose (the chef) cooks everything with a motherly touch. The food is not only delicious but healthy as well. I would definitely recommend everyone here to try this place at least once. Their Iskender Kebab is amazing. Both taste and presentation provides an amazingly unique experience. We went a few weeks after their soft launch, their traditional oven is still under development so they provide you with a simplified menu (which is still a lot to choose from). We will definitely be visiting this place again once their traditional oven is up and running to see what goodies they have in store for us :)

Best Turkish food there is. I ordered the manti and it is amazing. The chef Rose is so nice, she came out of the kitchen just to greet her customers. The Kofte is amazing, the service is nice and fast, and the hygiene is really well maintained. All in all, it’s one of the best experiences I have ever had the pleasure of having.

This is our new favourite place to eat. We drive in an hour and a half from out of town just to eat here. It's a beautiful, clean restaurant with great service and friendly staff, as well as amazing and delicious home cooked meals. The desserts are always made fresh and taste spectacular along with their tea. Every time we go there we feel like we are back in Istanbul. Highly recommended to go and eat there!

I always struggle to find good Mediterranean food as I always compare to food I ate there while visiting. I can tell the food was amazing, and that was for everyone, mainly because I helped myself to their dishes. Rose is a sweetheart that made us feel welcome. Very very very slow service. There were only 4 customers at the time we arrived, still it took the person 30 minutes before she came to take our order, and another 20 minutes to prepare the food. 10 minutes after serving our food they asked us to leave because we are reaching time limit of 70 minutes (50 minutes of which was waiting to be served the food). We tried to explain that waited 30 minutes for them to take the order. They told us it does not mater and that make no difference regardless how long we wait to get served. They had some of their friends waiting for our table. They pointed their friends at our table after serving us the food to let them know they will be asking us to leave within few minutes. Their friends kept starring at us in 10 minutes we trying to swallow the food. We were very very uncomfortable. It was the worst experience I had in the last 20 years of eating at restaurants.

Food is good, very comparable to other turkish restaurants in the GTA. That said the quantity is significantly smaller and plates are way overpriced. There is no point in coming back here when I can get much more value for my money elsewhere. The seating/decor is very average so I don't see why premium prices are charged here.

Horrible place!! OVERPRICED!!!!!!! I went there and ordered about $50 worth of food and what I got on my plate was absolutely disgusting. I got about 4 very small pieces of overcooked burnt meat on about 5 tbsp of rice on a plate. Then when I asked the owner for some bread she went to the freezer and grabbed the bread out of the freezer put it in the oven for less than 30 seconds. When I tried to eat the bread that was served, it was frozen solid inside. This place is a total rip-off save yourself your very hard earned money and go elsewhere. This is in no way authentic or worth the price that they charge. The experience was nothing but disappointing. I am sure the reviews are all fake and bought. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!

I previously made a mild statement about this restaurant and it's owner because she was withholding our payments. I want to correct my mistake about this dishonest restaurant owner once it for all and about what really goes down. 1. She is a dishonest person who lies to her employees, insults them when they make mistakes or talks rude behind their back to her employees who cannot speak Turkish or Arabic. 2. She REFUSES to pay her employees by making excuses. 2.Most of the food they serve is CANNED or FROZEN. So much for overpriced dining, enjoy your preservative covered white slab of cheese. 3. She broke most of the covid-19 regulations during the last day of the lockdown by operating her restaurant at full capacity. She does not care about the well being of her employees nor her customers. She only cares about profits. If as a customer if your truly care about the waiters and staff members who work hard please do not choose them.

It was my first time coming to this restaurant and my experience was NOT pleasant. I ordered Manti, Adana Kebab and Turkish tea for take out and they were all HORRIBLE! The Manti had very little meat in the ravioli and the taste was bland, Adana Kebab was dry and they forgot my salad and Turkish Tea tasted like they murky water. It was definitely NOT as advertised on their menu. One other issue was the portion size. All of the food items I ordered were not worth the price they are charging. Let alone people dining in were getting their food first even though they came 15-20 mins after I came and I ordered through the phone 15 mins before I picked up which I had to wait another 40 mins for my food. Overall, the whole experience was not good and would not recommend.

Recently we visited this restaurant that we reserved a table for our anniversary. However, due to the unexpected circumstances, they had to close earlier. It was really disappointing at first but Rosa's kindness and consideration fixed everything. She kindly offered us another restaurant and gave us an anniversary gift. I am giving this five star to Rosa, one of the best owner I have met, and I am looking forward to visit again and taste the delights on the menu:)

Food quality was amazing. It feels like good home prepared food as the spices used and taste reflect real Turkish dishes, not commercial ones. Food quantity was filling.
