I love Milestones food, particularly the prime rib chefs cut; ordered it medium rare, received it medium well. My girlfriend order the butternut squash ravioli, which she always gets, it was missing ingredients, and the amount of sauce accompanying the dish was 1/4 of what it regularly is. It was beyond disappointing. I personally would have been embarrassed to plate and serve the dishes knowing they so obviously fall short of the Milestones franchise standards. We will not be back. These guys don't do it right, and they don't operate at the standard of which we are used to from their other locations. We will continue to go to either the downtown location or their Richmond Hill location, where quality is obviously more important to them.

amazing mussels & the Bellini bowl is a must have in regards to drinks! however the staff are truly the highlight of this location. our server on monday was laura and she was absolutely fabulous and very attentive. the hostesses and other servers were also very friendly and welcoming which made for a really great lunch stop! will definitely come again if i'm back in victoria!

My wife loves this place. Every time we come to Masonville mall, this is her favorite place to eat. She has celiac disease and some other food allergies, and for some reason this is one of the only places that we eat out where she never gets sick afterwards. They have very high quality food here, the Miami Ice is her favorite drink. It's ice tea with a mango flavor, mixed with real mint leaves. I'm a big fan of the amazingly flavourful drink they have called H2O, although I just quit sniffing glue so maybe my taste buds are funny. Prime rib sandwich is my wife's favorite. Nice big juicy strips of prime rib on a gluten free bun (if you ask for it). Comes with a horseradish mayonnaise and a side. Unfortunately this time, the gluten free bun was overdone, and a little crunchy - though it's usually good. I find their soups and salads quite ravishing. They garnish the cream cheese in poppyseeds, so don't take a drug test after eating 9 or 10 Summer Spring salads, you might blow positive for opioids. Plus they have neat psychedelic bathrooms...pic included. Great for groups or coming in for drinks or cocktails. We've had birthdays here before and they bring sparkler cakes to the birthday human. They have a separate room for private events, stocked to the gills with wine.

We had a group of 7 people for New Year's Day brunch at noon. We were the only ones in there for nearly an hour and our drinks took forever to arrive. Our orders arrived incorrect, the eggs were overcooked, they ran out of coffee, and then all of our bills were wrong too! Our poor server also took forever because she seemed to be the only one working. Whomever the manager is for this location should be held accountable, since she also didn't know how to explain or fix the bill errors. Absolutely terrible.

Good food. One of us had chicken club...bread had a lot of flavor which on its own would be good but in sandwich it overwhelmed the sandwich and that's all he could taste. Waitress never came back to see if we wanted another drink...which we would have had but she just came with bill. Restaurant missed out on a sale of a couple glasses of wine. BTW, it wasn't busy, so not sure why she didn't ask if we wanted another drink...

Exceptional experience! It’s obvious the staff cares about the food and service they’re providing. I was shocked to find out this was part of a huge restaurant conglomerate; The well thought out menu and the exceptional service (thank you, TABITHA!) felt more like an independent restaurant than chain. I worked in the industtuy for 20+ years and consider myself a bit of a fussy foodie. Never have I experienced chain employees have this much pride in their work. We cant wait to return!

After they said: we could squeeze u in, while we were ordering our meals, they said we had to eat quick cause the table was reserved. So they rushed us out the table half way our meal. We had to doggy bag the rest of our food to get out. So it was like: we take your money but hurry up and go.

Lousy service lousy food. I showed up with 8 people at 230pm on jan 16. Took forever to get someone to take our orders. We tried to get more water we just wanted a couple of pints. They gave us all glasses and forgot the lemons and limes. A friend we were with cleaned our plates away. The staff did not. I was not impressed at all. I will never be back, I'm not sure my friends won't either. It was the worst experience of my life for a restaurant.

Had a great experience last night. We took our mom out for her birthday, she wanted to stay home, and not celebrate her milestone 50. When we got to our table we were greeted by our server John who was awesome. The food and drinks were good and to everyone's liking but the best part was how John cheered my mom up with a few jokes, he brought a smile to her face, and most importantly a great memory for her 50th.

We weren't that pleased. My Fish Tacos were priced accordly and very goid. The cheesy chicken and herbed spaghetti was dried out and rather a tasteless frozen dinner-type dish. A learning experience and loss of $56.

Recently I went to this location and was advised to download the app from the Ontario government for my vaccination proof. I was assisted by one of the staff there on how to do that. I went back a couple of days later only to be told they will not accept that method of proof. Does the right hand know what the left hand is doing?. Needless to say I walked out of there and went to a nearby restaurant in the same plaza. They accepted the proof readily.

I've been here a few times with my Husband-- Always a positive experience! The Ravioli is always my favourite (Husband's is always Steak)-- but we celebrated our Anniversary today and tried some new dishes. The Duck Confit Pasta was creamy, the Prime Rib was tender. Both delicious, and good portion sizes. Our waitress/food runners were incredibly nice, and we'll continue to see this place as one of our favourite "Date Night" places. Thank you for the wonderful experience, and divine dinner ❤

Visited this location just the other night with the whole family. We were looking forward to having some quality time together over dinner. The restaurant overall is very dark but it nevertheless sets a nice scene I suppose. When we entered the restaurant, I was surprised there were no hosts at the front to greet us. We waited a good minute or so before one of the staff came about to seat us. It was a few minutes later before our waiter arrived. They were quite pleasant and initially exceeded our expectations of service; although that was short lived. Just as it took minutes for our waiter to introduce themselves, we found the length between attendance of the table a bit too long. I was further disappointed by how loud the restaurant was though it seemed to quiet down in-between the background music which was nice. Getting to the food, I ordered the Crispy Sweet Chili Chicken Bowl for approximately $20 before tax that happened to be featured prominently in the menu. While everyone at my table received their dishes at the same time aside from me as I was unfortunate enough to wait several minutes after everyone else received their dishes only to watch one of the staff other than my waiter walk around the whole restaurant with my dish before finally bringing it to me and then leaning across the entire table to hand it to me when they could have walked around and set it down in front of me. Anyway, getting back to the food.. the initial presentation was quite nice. I included a photo with this review of it after I had moved the food around but I do wish to highlight two important things from this photo: the sides of the bowl show water stains and there are almost no vegetables aside from scallions and maybe some unknown leaves. To that end, I was extremely disappointed by the lack of vegetables as I literally could count on one hand the number of sweet peppers, onions, and other vegetables in the dish. Ultimately, the dish was spicy from the chili flakes and milky from the coconut sauce but not sweet and lacked any strong flavor entirely. I would not recommend visiting this location given the slow service and lackluster food. Be your own judge but at the hefty price they charge, you'll likely be just as disappointed as me.

Absolutely poor dining experience, waited an hour and a half for our food, hardly ever saw our server. Waited another hour for desserts, my chicken was burnt and the kale tasted mouldy. My three year old was going crazy with hunger and boredom, really spiked our family birthday. Will not be going again.

At this point, I have had multiple bad experiences with food ordered for delivery from this location. The latest was hard, cold, stale fries that seem a day old and a burger with very little sauce. I got the Mediterranean chicken which is usually delicious but they provided like 1 mL of sauce (literally barely covering the bottom of the little cup) so the meal was very bland. The chicken was fine this time though. From a previous order, the chicken was gristly and unpleasant. Won't be ordering from here again.

The hostess was great right off the back, super friendly and shared with me her nail artist! My favourite time to come here is for lunch as its not so busy. I enjoy the chopped salad and the cheesy garlic bread. Of course the bellinis and margaritas are amazing!!

Had a great experience back in October, only to recently return for brunch to learn the stellar young server (benjamin) was no longer employed there. What a disappointment as a longtime customer, he served us with heart and a big welcoming smile which is what separates him from the other servers at the langley location. The food industry needs more people like Benjamin with heart who genuinely are concerned to meet their customers needs.

Horrible service. Restaurant wasn't full, yet our table of 6 had to complain after an hour and a half before seeing entrees. Manager had zero clue or explanation to the delay (isn't it their job to know what is happening in their kitchen?). Manager also told one of the diners that their appetizer was sold out, well after all other appetizers we served. This sold out appetizer, by the way, mysteriously appeared with the entrees later on. One of the entrees (a pasta) was served with uncooked noodles. If it were any one of these incidents on their own, it would have been excusable. But all of these incidents together were inexcusable. The manager being clueless as to why these events happened and offering no assurance really killed the meal for us. Will never visit this location again, and probably never return to Milestones in general as a result.

Food was good but I really felt I was just at a Boston Pizza. Mom and I both had beers and they were cold and tasty. Not sure I'll be back. Maybe once the renos are done.

Ate with my family here a while ago. Forgot to post a review, but my experience made me still want to. We were seated in one of the booths beside the kitchen, so we can hear whats going on sometimes. The employees were goofing off (i assume from the laughs and loud talk), then one of them started making these weird loud funny noises, which interrupted our conversation. Food was good at least, and the waiter checked on us a little.

The staff were attentive to our large group despite it being a busy night for them, and the food was some of the best restaurant food I've had in awhile. I had my baby with me and they were able to provide a high chair and bring water for his bottle when I needed it. This restaurant has some really fun cocktails and lots of choice on their menu for a special night out. The view of the harbour was a lovely addition to a great meal. This restaurant would be a good choice for a party or date.

Decided to choose milestones as they are well known for their food. Not sure what happened to this location but it's not what it used to be. My burger was uncooked and raw, also they forgot my cheese which I specifically asked for over the phone. I am writing this review because the manager that called me the next day was not even concerned about my health. They're lucky I didn't get sick... Instead he tried to offer me a gift card for half the amount of what the other manager mentioned to me over the phone the day before.

So this place has gone downhill over the last few months. I was introduced to the Sweet Chilli Chicken Bowl, and it was great, I've ordered it regularly and last night was the last time. The quality has been degrading month over month and last night was my final time ever buying anything from Milestones. I received a $25 MEAL! in a medium size cardboard poutine container, didn't have any of the chips and the chicken was so hard I wouldn't feed it to my dog. I'm assuming someone put leftovers into the box and threw it in the microwave because the whole thing tasted like cardboard. This place has gone downhill, I will never be buying anything again. I ended up throwing the entire meal into the trash.

I also add on with a salmon. The garlic bread on side is another highlight!! Totally perfect eating with the spaghetti sauce! This is our go-to location since the Cambridge one closed down years ago. It's a bit of a drive which means our takeout is normally lukewarm by the time we're home to eat it, but it's still worthwhile. We recently ordered a few meals for Father's Day and brought it back home to eat. Everything was amazing. Next time I'll know to ask for extra sauce as some things can get a bit dry during the travel time, but otherwise we were so impressed. Love that they're offering takeout bellini bottles as well! One of the things my husband and I missed most about going to eat in the restaurant. We're a huge fan of the menu and have been for years!

The women's washroom on Mother's Day was dirty. 3 of the stalls did not flush, and the stall I finally ended up in was dirty and feminine bin had poo splashed all over it. Amazing experience here. I went for my birthday dinner last weekend and everything was outstanding. My salmon was great, happy hour drinks, awesome appies, show-stopper cake (seriously the best cake I've ever had) and the service was sooooo good! Also, the view is 10/10 of the parliament buildings. I ordered the sweet chili chicken bowl and it was legitimately the spiciest thing I have ever eaten, and I really like spice. It was inedible.

I've been to Milestones several times but this was the worst order I've had. 101 dollars through skip but around 85 before hand. My steak was a more medium than medium-rare, it was supposed to have a lobster meat and shrimp topping but I only received shrimp, 0 lobster pieces. It also has seasonal veggies with it. All there was were a few green beans, a piece of bell pepper and a quarter of a beet. Not a mix of seasonal veggies. The other entre was not good at all and we've ordered it before but this just, was not good at all. We also ordered 2 desserts, both of which we're missing components. One was supposed to come with ice cream, there was no container of it. The other was supposed to have strawberries, only received a half berry, and it should have had whipped cream which again, no container or it. This was all very disappointing. The part of it is it was an expensive birthday dinner gifted to me by my mom. Will not be ordering here again.

I was there this week after the CanGift Trade Show and it was really busy. I was sitting at the bar for about an hour. The bartender Michael hustled so fast to make sure all the wait staff had all there drink orders while helping out all the people sitting around the bar. I’ve never seen someone work so hard and so fast in a restaurant. He was incredibly friendly and helpful and rushed off his feet. That man deserves a good raise!

I quite enjoy Milestones, great decor and atmosphere and the service is quite good. The food is always prepared well but I often find the menu a little limited in terms of selection. Milestones is our favourite restaurant when we visit Victoria B.C. At night it is very magical with the view and the food is always delicious and it is a pleasure to dine there. It was my twindaughters birthday and we decided to visit Victoria B.C. for a couple of days and of course dine at Milestones. I had booked a window table for the three of us and everything went according to plan. Except we had to wait a really long time for our main meal nobody approached the table for more drinks and when we were finished we were sitting with our dirty dishes for another long time and no dessert was brought over, what i had ordered for their birthday.I just asked for the bill and mentioned my disappointment. Within a few minutes the Manager came over and apologized and explained there was a big party etc. He looked after both my daughters' meals and i was so impressed by his friendliness that i can only say, that that made the evening right again. The meal was absolutely great etc. but to have a Manager like him running a restaurant is hard to find. We definitely will be back!

I was shocked and disappointed with how small there beet salad was. You pay over $20 for this salad with chicken. The flavor was very good but the value just isn't there. I won't be going back.

We went to the Inner Harbour location with our 2 grandchildren and their parents mid-day on a Saturday. As we had a res there was no wait. The restaurant was a bit busy but they should be able to handle this as they have been in this location for years and it is in the heart of the tourist zone so they should be used to being busy. While we all enjoyed our food, the service was very slow. The children's drinks took a long time to arrive even though we could see them sitting ready at the bar. When the meals came we were given 4 1/2 meals. After a 5 min. or so wait, my soup arrived and we waited about 15 mins. for the final meal to come. When we inquired with the server, she blamed it on the kitchen and said the communication was poor. We told her that was not our problem and to bring meals for the entire table but one was not good service. Once the meal arrived, the manager came over to apologize but again made excuses and blamed it on the kitchen. While she did comp the late arriving salad, it was too little too late for us. Making excuses to the customer is not the way to handle a situation such as this. Being up front, apologizing and doing something about it is. We will not rush back and they have lost customers who live nearby. They need to fix the kitchen.

For the relatively high cost of a meal at Milestones, the standards seemed to have been lowered over the years. The venue seemed less clean and the food was mediocre. The salad ordered was slimy with salad dressing and not fresh and crisp. The vegetable flatbread was bland. Disappointing at best.

Spent a night at milestones for my sisters birthday and was pleasantly surprised with our server Isabelle. She gave us the perfect amount of time to order and a glass at our table never went empty. i wish every server ive had was like her. Came on Easter Sunday. Not too busy in the restaurant. Took over an hour and a half to get 2 orders of french toast and Eggs Benedict. Asked for side potatoes in the order, never came. Waitress said she couldnt carry them with the other plates, that it was coming up, then never came back to the table. First time at Milestones, unfortunately will be the last time. If they move that slow with barely any patrons, I would hate to see the speed of service with a full restaurant.

The service was horrible, we had a reservation and arrived a little early. We weren't seated until past the reservation, this wouldn't usually be a problem but we were constantly being told the table would be ready in 2 mins... And then another 3... We waited for about 20 mins. Our waiter was not sensitive towards allergies at the table. We had to have food sent back because of poor communication. I ordered garlic bread as an app, it was incredibly tough on the ends. The meal I ordered was the chicken sandwich with bacon. It was horrible.... The bread was so thick and hard I had to pull apart the sandwich to eat, and even then I still didn't eat the bread. The fries I got on the side were soggy, lukewarm, and mush. I instead asked for a salad. That's how bad these fries were. My friends also did the same. Price and portion were definitely not worth it. I would not come back here my food was terrible, and the service was not so great. It took forever for our waiter to bring us drinks, food was not delivered all on time, and he never came to ask how our food was, if we needed more to drink, ect...

My husband and I don't typically frequent chain restaurants but we do enjoy a date night at Milestone once in a while. We like the atmosphere, the food and just enjoying a bottle of wine with dinner and just hanging out. This location does get busy so I recommend having a reservation but it is a great place to split some appy's and enjoy a Bellini with friends

Came in at 930 pm on a Friday night. We waited 30 minutes for a person to come take our order. We only order a desert and after 20 minutes and no food, I ended up leaving.i told the waitress and it seemed she didn't care. Horrible horrible service . This Milestones is like a home away from home, my family and I come for brunch every week and every single time the food is perfect and the waiting team, from the door to the table to the bar to the kitchen, are so friendly and professional. I've been here the odd time for dinner with friends and it's just as good in the evening as it is in the morning. I can't resist the eggs benny, mainly due to their in-house made Hollandaise sauce ???? Love this place!

A great spot to sit and catch up. Our server was fantastic. He addressed our needs and and wants with dinner and timing to let us chat and catch up. Open late so no need to rush. Often our favourite spot to go because of this. Power Salad was excellent. Veggies burger and roasted potatoes was one of the best I have had in a while. So much extra food, able to take leftovers home for dinner the next night. Music quiet enough to have a conversation. This is my favourite spot to have butternut squash ravioli. I really miss their"sliders"! Sadly they have taken them off the menu.

Friendly staff, great food. We are mostly vegetarian family and the options were great. We had a veggie burger and the butternut squash ravioli, both were delicious. The kitchen cooked a small patty for my son as well for his kids meal (thank you chef and kitchen staff). Everybody was wearing their mask when required, tables were cleaned and disinfected appropriately. Will come back for sure, didn't get a chance to try the salads. Many thanks to Frank (sorry if that is not your name haha).

It's a chain restaurant, but it seems quite popular. The few times I've been here, I've enjoyed the food enough to come back. Never had a bad meal, but it can be very loud during busy times. We were seated in a corner one night and we could not hear a thing the server was saying. She couldn't hear us either, even though they have a knack for reading lips! We both left with a throbbing headache and couldn't wait to leave. I suggest they put some sound tiles in the ceiling because we won't go back if it's busy. Maybe when they're slow. Do I sound old? :-)

Had dinner here a couple of nights ago with a few friends as a last gathering before we all went back to school. Normally I love milestones but this experience has changed my mind. Server seemed like he didn’t want to be there the entire night, and didn’t come across friendly or welcoming whatsoever. Our server was also mumbling through his mask making it nearly impossible to understand anything he said. Food came out wrong to top it all off. Overall a disappointing experience. By far the absolute worst Milestones I have ever been to, and I've been to a few. The restaurant wasn't as busy as we had expected but the service was extremely slow. It took about 45 mins before we even got our apps with no explanation or ETA from our waitress or anything. Alcohol was spilled on one of us.....it was a whole laundry list of this that went wrong at this location tonight. No one checked to see how our food was once we got it. We also ordered a bottle of prosecco with our meal, it came, glasses were dirty and the prosecco sat unopened.....were we supposed to open it ourselves? We waited to see how long before someone came to open it and no one did. That's not even everything but I honestly do not have the time to write everything down. Needless to say, this Milestones will not be seeing me ever again. The only pleasant person we dealt with here was the hostess. Disappointed to say the least.

Service is great. We ordered 2 shrimp bisque soups to start. They were delicious! Also had the coconut calamari which was good. We both got the steak and shrimp. Everything on the plate was great except for the steak. We asked medium well..my bf got medium and I got well done. We ended up switching steaks as I prefer medium over well done. And the steak was tough and not the best quality or taste. Everything else is yummy. So I suggest ordering anything else but steak, since it wasn't cheap either. The peach bellini is my favorite drink there. Excellent date spot or for a night out with friends. Lots of parking too

My partner and our kids were planning on celebrating one of my best friends birthdays at Milestones Waterloo last night. Due to the fact we were 4 adults and 3 children we were advised our reservation had to be cancelled since Waterloo Region entered into the yellow stage of COVID 19. We decided to use Uber Eats and celebrate in the safety of our own home instead. Unfortunately the Uber driver was given the wrong order and ours was left at the restaurant. The Uber driver said he would go back to pick up our correct order (in the meantime we picked up pizza as the kids were starving). About 45 mins later we received a call from Milestones advising that our order was never picked up. We explained what had happened to the manager of Milestons (Dan) and he was incredibly apologetic. Dan packed up the order himself and personally drove it across town to extend his apologies in person. He also sent our meals along with a complimentary appetizer voucher. Dan went above and beyond for us last night, he was so friendly and did everything possible to correct a situation that was out of his control. This was the best display of customer service I have seen in years. Dan deserves to be recognized for his hard work and commitment to his customers. Thank you for everything Dan! You made it a memorable and incredible evening that we won't soon forget! Milestones is lucky to have you!

We came 9pm or so on a Saturday (Nov 18th) and they said to wait for 15 minutes, but there were so many empty and clean tables around. I ordered a Regular Coke and the server did not say anything then, only on our first refill when the server said that they were serving Pepsi products so what he gave was Pepsi. Was that some sort of Pepsi Challenge to see if we can "taste the difference"? Bad and slow service. Won't. Be. Back.

My family and I LOVE going to Milestones. Almost every where in the country you can expect a certain uniformity in the standard and quality of the food. This branch is the single worst - servers don't want to be there and the food is nowhere close to the standard elsewhere. Simply go to the Milestones on Oakville and order the same thing and you can judge the difference on your own view. I don't ever write reviews, but this location is so terrible I had to!

Customization to items are permitted and food is delicious. We had Red Thai curry and Butternut squash ravioli (pictures inside) and they were amazing. The only service restaurant located inside Masonville Mall (Opposite Lenscrafters) has various sitting arrangements, e.g., outside, bright, and cosy tables, to darker areas inside with comfortable booths, and large group areas. There is a well thought out decor throughout. Lunch was a main course of Roma Chicken Parmesan, comprising two chicken breasts covered with a thick 3-cheese sauce on spaghetti. A minor critique was the slightly blanched green beans, i.e., not cooked, but this had no affect on my enjoyment. I paired it with a glass of good Riesling wine.

This came with an appetizer, entree and a dessert for two people. The food was great and I’d also like to thank management for the $20 e-gift card that I received from Carly that helped me pay for this meal. This had been one of our favourite places until our last visit on July 1, 2018. We were seated in the lower portion of the dining room, handed the food and drink menus and then ignored for about 10 minutes. At that point the restaurant wasn’t busy, and no one else was seated in our area. We eventually ordered drinks and they arrived quickly. After another 10 minutes our order was finally taken. We each had the sirloin steak, with garlic mashed. The food arrived and was very good. The steak was tender and cooked just right. Halfway through the meal the server came by and asked, as she walked past us, how everything was. She was gone as we commented fine. Would have loved a drink refill or some ice water. Another server came and eventually cleared the table, then disappeared. Our server came by after several minutes to see if we wanted dessert , which we did. They arrived quickly. Again we had the walk by inquiry how the desserts were. When the bill was dropped off I had my card out, wanting to avoid another disappearing act, so we could leave. I was hoping for the, “and how was everything tonight” question, but it never came. In summary, nice atmosphere, great food but lousy service for a $100.00 dinner for two. We will explore the numerous other choices before returning to Milestones.

Walk in at 4:10 Get seated at the bar 4:15(no wait, just ignored) Drink order taken 4:22 Drink order messed up 4:26 *Unexplained server change* Asked at 4:37 if we wanted to order food and then ordered it 4:55 was told one of the dishes wasn't available 5:06 food arrives. After being inside for an hour, they were eaten quite quickly. 5:30 finally get a bill and get outta there. Food wasn't bad and the people (5 different servers) were nice when they were around... Was my first experience at milestones and I'm sure will be my last for a long while

We reserved for a dinner out, we chose milestone's as it's usually a consistent and pleasant experience. When we arrived the host directed the hostess to seat us at table 65, which is right next to the kitchen door and in the midst of a few noisy bigger groups. We requested a table change, which was accommodated. We ordered the kale noodle stir fry, they didn't have it. We switched to a chicken dish. The food was decent, the ganache torte used to be served with a caramel sauce and isn't any longer. It was underwhelming. Service was friendly and decently attentive. The room is very noisy, overly so. All in all, I think it'll be a long time before we return.

We went for lunch today at milestones at the inner harbour, my boyfriend and I. In a practically empty restaurant. The hostess sat us in the back of the restaurant and in my opinion the worst table in the restaurant. There was a huge tree blocking any view. The restaurant was empty so we were confused as to why we were placed there. They did seat us in a more reasonable spot after we asked and when we questioned why we were seated there the hostess said it was a very requested table (not believable). To top this off they (manager,hostess and waitresses) gathered chatting and looking in our directions absolutely obvious they were discussing our "unreasonable" request. They made us feel awkward and disgusted by their behaviour. We were paying patrons. Appalled and humiliated we got up and left --not willing to be ridiculed any further. actually felt too sick to eat BUT it doesn't end there after paying for the bill I re-entered the restaurant to get my change and THEN the manager asked if there was a problem (not bothering to ask when we visibly looked upset leaving) The only reason why she asked was because we were face.to to face she was at the till seeing if we left a tip (exactly the reason why I went back because I didn't want to leave a tip because of how we were treated) but she didn't show any concern or even apologize. We will Never go to this restaurant again and I wouldn't recommend especially for POC. Just my vibe from the place.

I have dietary restrictions but the entree dish i wanted , they were sold out of. However our server Jacob or Jake (sorry I am not good with names) and the chef were able to make something else for me and it was delicious! I really appreciated it. I also had the Brussels sprouts to start and I did not know Brussels sprouts could taste so good......The other staff who's names I didn't get were also very kind to us. Great experience definitely coming back!!!!

After working in 13 restaurants in my earlier life, this is my 1st review on Google because it just was so lame. Bad food, poor management. Reserved a table for a special occasion. Had to flag down the manager who was staring at the door, he was disheveled. Didn't get seated until we waved down the manager. French onion soup was salty tar. Ordered some champagne. They forgot the water. Ordered pasta, there was an overwhelming amount of red peppers, which WEREN'T listed in the menu... fine... but WAIT... we had ordered a bucket of crab. The waiter brought crackers and then after about 15 minutes the manager comes back and said sorry they were out of crab. Why would the waiter not know this? A sticky note even? When the order went in originally etc. We didn't get angry or anything but it just kept getting lamer.. Waiter left and didn't pass over the table. Seriously... what? Don't ever, never, ever go here. Both my dinner companion and I are a little sick still. I think its the tar. The only thing I can think of is the staff were Milestoned. Never ever.

If it wasn't for the great waitstaff, I would have given this location a one star. The food was absolutely disgusting! I ordered a mushroom & brie burger, and the burger was overcooked and dry. It tasted like the meat was sitting under the hot lamp all day before it came to my table. And that female staffers, I felt so sorry for them. I went with a group of three others, and everyone had the exact same response: the food was terrible. Either the cooks are amateurs, or Milestones has gone downhill! The restaurant was freezing and the female waitstaff were wearing extremely low tank-tops and extreme short skirts, while the male staff were fully dressed... It's 2018, time to stop over-sexualising female waitstaff. I felt like I was at Hooters. It's rather pathetic that over-sexualised casual dining is still going on, especially at a restaurant chain, who claim to be modest and respectful to all of their employees... Won't be eating there again.

I usually go here for lunch or with customers, but the last time I was here, it was horrible. The surf'n'turf is really not worth the price, especially when you're not getting any lobster with it( it's actually lobster sauce) and only 4 prices of small shrimp. The cook seems to have a hard time cooking meat. We got lamb that was mostly raw and a steak that was overcooked. I would recommend staying away from the meat plates and stick with the simply ones.

We had a very short time here, so wanted to grab a quick bite. When we walked it, there wasn't many people. We thought it would be quick. From the time we were seated, until someone came to get our order was about 25 minutes. Just as we were about to leave, they came. Very slow service. The food was really good. I had the Korean tacos. Delicious! They give you so much. Hubby got the fish tacos and he loved them. The spinach dip was delicious, and our drinks were great. We had to hunt someone down, yet again, to get our bill. Great food. Terrible service.

I’ve been here at least 17 times within 24 months and not once was I let down. The service staff is exceptional and the menu, wow!! I love a good steak and am never let down at this location. I’ve had steak in almost every high end restaurant in Ontario, Quebec, Nevada and countless other states. This place is in the top 3 best ever. Our family, when we want a night out, almost always ends up at this location. The appetizers the entrees the desserts nothing is a miss.

Next thing I know the manager comes over and mentions there was a problem with the ID. I said no problem, here is my ID. I begin to show my social insurance card and contents of my wallet as requested then decide no....at this point I am fed up and decide all this hassle is not worth it since they already ruined my Saturday night out. As we leave my date apologizes (not sure why WE should apologize but being canadian and all...the kicker is the MANAGER replies that its 'His problem not mine" well i am here to tell you it is your problem. Regularly come to this location with my family for dinner. Their Sweet Chicken with Rice and Thai Red Chicken is really good. But this time the serving portions per person were less the usual. And to my amazement, we ordered the same entre’ but some of us got less than half of what the others were served. Not impressed. I didn’t want to create a scene, as I was paying for the dinner. Hate going to a restaurant and then heading to McDonald’s after. Not coming back any time soon.

I've always loved Milestones but this visit lacked in many ways. Party of 4, 2 of us first ordered a water with no ice, and a sparkling water with lemon. Received water WITH ice and a sparkling water with lime. 2 people ordered the beet and arugula salad... each salad came with 4 small slices of beets.... should be renamed an arugula salad. When we ordered extra beets, we received a bowl that tasted like they had gone bad. Lastly with dessert, I ordered a hot water with lemon, which never came. Not sure if it was an off night or a new server but this visit was so disappointing that I would rather take my business to one of the 4 surrounding restaurants in this area and give Milestones a good long break. ????

I went to have lunch here last week with my girlfriends visiting from Vancouver. The experience was great. The food, atmosphere and service were excellent. We ordered their Garden burger and it was delicious. Though the yam fries on the side was good but it was a bit dry. It was not freshly made judging from the temperature which was not even warm and how much it shrunk. Anyway, the service made up for it. The waiter was friendly. The washroom was clean and well-maintained.

Great atmosphere and interior decor. Unfortunately it's only a distraction from deteriorating quality of food at this location. Not sure if there has been any change in management recently. Had the brunch. Found egg shell pieces in the eggs Benedict. Mimosas were weak. Cocktails are overpriced for their quality. Not even close to competing with some of the independent diners in town.

Great date night out!! It was busy so we waited a bit to get served but the service was excellent, the food came out in good time and was delicious. Not a speck left on either of our plates. In the winter it was a little chilly by the door. We run warm so it wasn't too bad but if you're already chilly ask for something further from the door. The cost was very reasonable thinking that more casual places have similar prices with the lack of atmosphere that you get from milestones. Excited to try their brunch menu soon.

Had lunch here while returning from Buchardt Gardens on a bus tour. Had sliced prime rib sandwiches and draft beers. The view of the British Columbia Parliament Building and harbor from our window table was worth the experience by itself. The food and service was excellent too. Highly recommend.

Milestone's is a good chain. Not enough vegetarian options and zero vegan options. Otherwise, it's decently priced and the drink menu is fabulous. This particular location is pretty good. Service can sometimes leave something to be desired but, it's not bad, just bare minimum politeness factor.

Waited in line to be told no availability for walk ins and we went at 5:15PM???? There were all of 4 tables occupied inside but refused us (and many other parties) because they were “waiting for 5pm reservations to arrive”. Tons of empty tables on the patio too…How ridiculous. Had four staff standing at the door aimlessly awaiting their tardy customers. I will say that most of the staff were friendly, with the exception of one woman with an inflated sense of self wearing a headset for some reason.

While I have had good experiences at milestones in the past, this one was bad. I ordered a shrimp and lobster taco dish that was disgusting. It had little seafood (I couldn't find any lobster), and the lettuce was starting to go bad. The waiter took it back and credited me, but was unpleasant following this experience. It will be a while before I return, especially since there are so many good places to choose from.

It was my first ever milestones experience and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. My server was a lovely young lady who was prompt and attentive. All of our food was delicious and everything was better than expected! I would certainly recommend to anyone who wishes to have a great dinner experience.

My husband had the burger and it made him very sick the next day. Manager at the door was not friendly at all , and said there was no tables for us in the dining room and only found one for us when we insisted. The whole place was barely half full the whole time we were there, so not sure what that was about.

Went there for my birthday with several friends... had excellent service and was surprised with a dessert and sparkler. There were 10 of us and waiters were very patient especially when we ordered a side of fries last minute! Drinks were delicious and the Butternut squash ravioli was to die for. Went to celebrate my husbands birthday. They have a new menu, but we ordered something else. We had the cauliflower appetizer, it tasted good but it was very greasy and the yogurt was bland. My husband order the hamburger but he didn’t enjoyed it that much, he also ordered sweet potatoes that were delicious. I ordered sweet chili chicken with rice, it was very good but got a little sweet at the end. They gave us a cheese cake for my husbands birthday it was good. Service was excellent.

Standard Milestones, my favorite is dish is the Chicken Portobello Mushroom pasta. Last time we went there, it took 45 minutes for our order to arrive and it wasn't busy at all. However, our server attentive.

My friend and I had lunch today at the Rio Can Milestone's in Burlington. The service was excellent - friendly, fast (we were on a work lunch hour), etc. Thank you, Ashley! Food was delicious - my friend had the beet and goat cheese salad; I had the mushroom soup and fish taco. We used to go to the Kelsey's nearby. No longer. We love this spot. I would recommend it to everyone!

Service was good. Fast and very polite... However, the food here was not soo good. I had the chicken parmesan and my noodles were cold and sticky. Half way through my dish, I found a hair on plate. I returned my dish for another one, but by the time the new dish got to the table, I lost my appetite. The breaded chicken was also smothered in sauce and was soggy. The quality of food doesn't match the pricing. Also, my girlfriend got a burger that was burnt around the edges but had felt we did enough complaining for one night. I do want to mention that our server was very friendly, and he handled this situation very well. The food however, was not very impressive.

Was very disappointed, ordered 2 chicken Cesar salads and the lettuce was old (wilted and brown) and the portions are not what they used to be. It was also odd it came with spring mix, not sure if that's the norm (in my experience here it has just been romaine, not sure if that changed?) but definitely seemed like they were looking to off load old produce and we were the suckers who ended up with it. It was a takeout order.

I was there for a business meeting and ordered the pesto chicken penne. It was horrible! It was basically a bowl of garlic with some pasta. I ate maybe half of it and 24 hrs later I am still burping garlic. My wife can't get within 10 yards of me, its horrible. How could this have been prepared by an actual chef? Do they know what a pesto is? Of and it was to come with tomatoes and basil, it didnt! Never again! Oh and BTW waitress you don't have to try and shove every extra thing that your restaurant sells on us. It was embarrassing!
