I have been here a couple of times The last time I went for a quick lunch found a hair on my plate and was over charged for our meal. $28 for 2 BLTs and 2 coffees.

I love spinach omelettes. They are difficult to make. This is the BEST Spinach omelette that I have ever had! Had the right proportion of feta, spinach and chives. Wasn’t burned or overcooked. I would give it 10 stars if I could. And they kept the coffee coming. Seasonal decorations were a nice touch. Very nice people.

I called in a takeout order for some atypical things and they were very accommodating. I got a chicken breast with spinach and hollandaise, and 4 eggs over easy with sausage and bacon. It was great. I admit, the hollandaise was a bit thinner than I'm used to, but was still fairly rich. The sausages were GREAT, and the bacon was a nice balance between crispy and still having a bit of bite - I don't like bacon that just falls apart on a fork.

Steak at least a quarter fat and OLD- visibly brown inside. Potatoes unseasoned - not a grain of salt even. A quickly chopped and deep fried potatoes to save them time or effort. Scrambled eggs greasy and in one giant piece. Steak made me sick.

This is the best Breakfast restaurant I have encountered so far and I have been to dozens in a 300 km radius from Toronto. Branch buffet on Sundays is magnificent. Everything tastes sooooooo good!

Always a wonderful home cooked meal! Sunday brunch, with custom ordered eggs and toast, is so good. This restaurant has consistently provided excellent food and service for decades. Just finished eating Easter turkey dinner from Harvest Table- it was excellent!!!!! Leftovers for 2 more meals- everything home cooked- makes me wonder why I ever go to the trouble of making this type of meal when Bob does such an amazing job!!!!!!!!!!!!

Patricia our server , was very warm and friendly... this was my second visit , first was for dinner and today was for a late lunch. If you are the kind of person who likes to enjoy a quiet meal, the best time to visit this place is between 2pm to 5pm the egg hollandaise with peameal bacon and muffins! served with home fries were great!! also the perogies with bacon and onions fried were just GREAT!!! if you want good food with value for money coupled with warm service and good ambiance.. visit this simple place...

Food was good, coffee was fresh. The only reason I would give them 2 star is the setting. The carpets are outdated and dirty, the layout is from 1980s that has never been updated. Inside is dark as well , I personally like to have breakfast in a restaurant with sunlight and refreshing to start the morning!

Traditional simple family restaurant with a good choice of breakfast items served until 11am. We ordered bacon and eggs and sausage and eggs. Everything came out as ordered. Lots of bacon on the plate and the sausage was the large farmers sausage which was very tasty.

It's your typical greasy spoon. Food is average but edible. If you're looking for a salad bar this is about one of the only places that still has one. It's not huge but it's got the most popular items. If you're looking for a no frills meal. This place will do the trick.

I really don't know how this place has 4 stars... which is same as cora across the street. The food was very bland.... coffee cups still had coffee in them and lipstick stains on the rim. Utensils had food on them. Saw them taking bacon and sausage from the breakfast bar to put on customers plates that "ordered from the kitchen". Bacon was super dry like beef jerky. 1/10 would not recommend.

We eat here regularly. Low pressure atmosphere, kid friendly. Lots of parking. Good food, friendly staff, good pricing. Several boutique stores near by so you can get in a little walking after getting the "Grand Slam" breakfast. Be warned, it's a big meal.

Proabaly the worst breakfast I have ever had. Currently feel sick after just leaving. Order their “buffet” and had 1 sausage 1 pemale bacon 1 meatball 1 Perogie and made a order for eggs over medium and toast. Eggs came out soaked in oil with the yolk rock hard, toast had a drop of butter in and so very dry and cold. Couldn’t eat the home fries as they were cold and hard. Honestly should have went to Tim Hortons and got a bagel. If I could give less then one star I would.

Walked in, no one was there. Sign says tobseat yourself and no one greated us for 10 mins. My son was wanting pancakes. Left and settled for Macdonalds instead.

Not vegetarian friendly and not a good experience. Our server was nice, however I found a piece of ham in the pancakes I ordered, as well a small piece of omelette stuck to the bottom of another one. Obviously this was a mistake and mistakes happen, but it turned me off of my meal. When I gave my feedback asking for the kitchen to be notified so that they can be more careful in cleaning their grills between orders, the response I received is the reason for the 1 star. A woman who I presume to be the manager or owner came over and said “oh sorry, it’s just a little piece of ham from the grill.” And when I told her I was a vegetarian she responded that they didn’t know that and the kitchen would have had to be told that I was a vegetarian.... for an order of pancakes. This implies that they aren’t in the habit of keeping their grills clean between orders, which is disconcerting. I’ve worked in restaurants for over a decade, so I recognize that mistakes happen, but the response that it is somehow my fault that there was ham in my pancakes because I didn’t notify them that I was a vegetarian is unbelievable.

Went for breakfast had eggs, bacon, homefries, toast. Which was good. They have lots of other options including a very small buffet. Prices were ok. Lots of parking spaces. However the service was terrible waited for a while for them to realize that we needed a seat then once they got us a seat, they only gave us a fork. Said they had been busy would get us the rest in a bit, coffee came quickly, but I asked for a hot chocolate & the waiter looked confused walked away so asked someone else & they got it, but took a while. My husband had to use the end of his fork to mix his coffee, food came & no knife or spoon ever came so my husband had to get up & go ask for a knife/peanut butter to toast his toast. Remember food great/service bad.

Didn't get to try their food today. It might be okay to run a place to seat yourself. But that doesn't work when it's really busy. Lack of consideration by customers who come in after you and you're still waiting for a table. A couple came in after my daughter and I and they darn well knew we were ahead of them and waiting for a table to be freed up. The couple took the table that my daughter asked the manager specifically to clear for us. I couldn't believe how rude it was, the woman was uncomfortable because she knew it was wrong what she and her partner did. I know it's only a table, but imagine how this couple gets through life if this is what they do. Karma. My daughter and I ended up sitting next to the rude couple. We ended up leaving and went somewhere else and glad we did. I won't be trying Harvest Kitchen again any time soon. They need to consider a different way to value customers when it's busy.

My first experience at the Harvest Table was horrible. to start, i ordered the ceasar, and i couldnt get more then 2 sips down, sent it back and just asked for a coffee. we had to ask for menus, after waiting around for about 5 minutes. i then decided to order the greek omelet. it was beyond watery and could hardly look at it. when we went to pay, the owner was cashing us out, and i noticed that they had charged me for the caesar that i sent back, after about a 2 minute discussion that escalated into an argument, he then told us to get out and never come back, and then under his breath he say "stupid young people"

Found this spot after doing a Google search and reading the reviews. The menu has all the usual bfast faves. The coffee is very good. I ordered the eggs Benedict and asked for the eggs to be poached hard. They came perfect with delicious home made hollandaise sauce and pea meal bacon. My boys had pancakes and waffle. All was delicious and served with generous portions. Our server was courteous and friendly. The prices are very reasonable. I would highly recommend harvest table for breakfast.

We were visiting the area for a wedding and needed a good local breakfast. The plates were full, the potatoes were delicious and the sausage was huge. We enjoyed our meals and will definitely be going back if ever in the area. Along with the regular menu items they have a All You Can Eat Buffet. It had the normal breakfast items, and some lunch item (Meatballs, Chicken Fingers, Pargogies and roast beef) The decor is a little dated and unfortunately the staff was a little disorganized when it came to seating us. But once the we got our menus it went smoothly!

I ate at this restaurant with my grandson and he asked for pancakes since he loves them. One bite and he said no more. He gave me a disgusted look. He asked to go to the bathroom so I took him. Yuck. Have you seen their bathrooms? I tried my breakfast of eggs and bacon that was very greasy. Stomach pain all day. The place is so outdated and dirty. The waitresses act as if their job to serve you is actually putting them out. Very unfriendly. I will never ever recommend this dump to anyone.

Not sure what all these good reviews are about. It can't be the same restaurant. 1) dark, dingy, felt like we were back in the "real world" when we left, ambience was dead - no music, chatter of other customers (of which there was only one other family) - it just felt and looked so dull 2) owner is overbearing and made us uncomfortable during our meal (sat in a table behind us within eyeseat). We didn't like the way he treated an employee (shooed him with his hand) and we heard him comment on another family's tip. 3) food is incredibly SUBPAR - oil doesn't compensate for flavour. My pancakes tasted like greasy fried cornbread dough, everything on our plate was very oily, we left feeling bloated but not satisfied, we could not finish our food and left most of it. 4) cleanliness - random rag left on a neighbouring table, flies on the "salad bar"? We were never explained that that was meant for consumption. Our table's glass cover was cracked and had some tape to hold together the chipped corner. THE ONLY POSITIVE is that this place has all day breakfast. Please take your money and visit your local Sunset Grill. You'll pay roughly the same for a much better experience.
