Small location, Food was pretty good. Shared the pratatas with a group and we all thought they were tasty. I had the Fish and Beef cheek tacos, although good, the flavours fell a little short. Staff was friendly and nice, I may return in the future.

Decided to try Burro after loving the group's taco restaurant in Hamilton - The Mule. The tacos were good and I did like the different selection of tacos compared to The Mule, but overall I love The Mule a lot more. For me, the biggest difference was the selection of appetizers - I like The Mule's appetizers a lot more. Now that I've experienced both locations, I will definitely make the trip into Hamilton each time for The Mule, but we still had a decent meal here (although the price of individual tacos can really add up!).

Love the food here! Everything I’ve tried has been very flavourful and delicious. Perfect for those of us who need to be gluten free. I most recently had the nachos, sweet potato taco and the Brussels spouts taco along with the chorizo and pork nachos. Would highly recommend all of that. Service is quick and the patio is nice.

The restaurant was pleasantly clean. The food was nice but pricey for the portions. 9$ for 2 maybe 3 tbs of mediocre queso dip and a literal handful of chips. I would have made a 4 star review but our female waitress was rude and wasn’t clear on how to access the menu. If you’re looking to order here make sure you purchase phone data since no wifi is offered.

Healthier taco options that are tasty and matched with a great atmosphere. The helpful and friendly staff attribute to this. There's plenty of parking, however, there are long wait times especially on weekends. A word of advice is to get here early and be prepared to spend more than usual for some quality tacos.

Must go. Amazing tacos, and killer Mexican Mule. We weren't sure about availability for gluten free but once we got there we realized they have a 100% gluten free kitchen so that was amazing to find. Prices are awesome i found, one taco roughly 5-6 dollars—good size and amazing flavour. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Would definitely go again.

Pretty fresh ingredients and decent flavours, but overpriced for the tiny, wee portions. The soft tacos ($8 to $10) are literally about 3 bites for my teen. Funky decor and nice patio but not much value for your dining dollar.

Perfect weather on a Friday to sit out in their front patio and enjoy some tacos. When we arrived we scanned a QR code which took us to a link to fill out our name and email for contact tracing. No big deal and it took literally 20 seconds. We had a combination of hard and soft tacos - achiote chicken, adobe beef and brussel sprout tacos. The Adobo beef was our favorite, the meat was super tender and loved the fact they were extra spicy with the Anaheim peppers. The chicken tacos were also really good, and the brussel sprout taco was interesting with the really crispy leaves worth trying out if you're looking for something different or a vegetarian option. Nice little spot we'd come back to in the summer.

For someone who's never given tacos a proper chance, I chose this place to get into the taco world. I certainly was not disappointed! The tacos we're full of distinct flavors with each bite. You can see and taste the attention to detail that went into making this simple food. The Mexican hot sauces add another dimension of heat if you're willing to explore. I was amazed at my first proper introduction to tacos and this is a gateway to try more Mexican cuisine. I definitely would recommend Burro for any taco lover out there.

The food was tasty, but kinda pricey for the size of tacos. We ordered chipotle sweet potatos (they are not very spicy, which was good for me) and beef cheek tacos. Flavor was good, but size too small. If you're very hungry, you need to order at least 5 tacos, or another meal. The price for each taco was 6- 6.5.

I tried three of the tacos and all were excellent. I could live without the jerk pork taco, it was mostly fat and underwhelming. The curried goat was excellent and the "classic" is exactly what you would expect and want. Had the chips and guacamole, the guac was about excellent I could have done with the chips being served warm but a minor complaint it was very good. Cool atmosphere. Our server was extremely pleasant and attentive. We will be back for sure and I would recommend.

Lovely small place with an intimate seating arrangement. Food quality was good, drinks were really nice and the overall vibe of the place was pretty good too. Because the place is tight, you are advices to reserve your table in advance. Parking should be easy to find; either street parking or look for nearby lots. Overall experience was great, definitely recommended for some nice vegetarian as well as non vegetarian options.

Taco Thursdays from Burro are helping us get through the pandemic. They have the best variety of tacos and ingredients are fresh, interesting and delicious. It is pricey as the adult males in my family can eat 6 tacos plus appetizers, but we think it's worth it. Try the brussel sprout tacos, they are amazing!

Used to love coming here until I found a piece of FISH in my guacamole. It was a pretty big piece of fish and there's no way it could have unintentionally fell in there ... Very disappointed as I have a seafood allergy and 25% of my little bowl of guac was consumed by a thick piece of seafood.

Wow! Customer service is amazing. I ordered o. Skip the dishes. A small part of the order didn’t arrive. I called to let them know, they had it here in 10 minutes, with a gift card and were so apologetic. They also added an extra dip and chips. My kids and I were so appreciative. And it was also my daughters bday (they didn’t know this) but she had specifically asked for guacamole and chips ???? thank you so much.

If you're familiar with the Other Bird group, and their Hamilton restaurants (The Mule, Two Black Sheep, Rapscalion) then you'll know this is a good spot. Similar to The Mule, but with a slimmer menu. Great tacos and cocktails. I would like to see a larger menu thought.

I have eaten here at least 4 times and the tacos and Mexican cuisine is definitely something special. I have tried everything on the menu, the rotating special has never disappointed, and the fish, sweet potato, and classic are my favourites. Servers are always very friendly and prompt. Margarita and sangria are excellent. Seriously, you cannot go wrong with any cocktail or food here, vegans out there check out the 10 layer dip!

Read the reviews and decided to give it a shot. One of our party had some food allergies, but they were very accommodating and delivered loved options. Some challenges in the kitchen threatened to derail our experience, but the Burro staff worked hard to make it right, and we left impressed by their commitment to service and high-quality chow. And the food! Some reviewers commented on the prices, but we thought them reasonable after tasting their elevated spin on simple Mexican fare. Unexpectedly, the brussels sprout tacos were my fave. It was all good and enjoyed by all. We'll be back, confident in the staff and kitchen to win us over again.

With some of the best nachos I've ever had, this eclectic and cozy place will provide you with spectacular tacos to enjoy. An interesting note is that you order tacos individually - with veggy, fish, and meat options, I would suggest you get one of each! They also have a great and ever changing bar menu. Great for a date or time with friends

Apon entering The Burro Restaurant, on Brant Street, the front steel door definitely fights you to enter the establishment and on first impression looking in the restaurant, it certainly does "NOT" look very clean at all, throughout the restaurant, very dull lighting and especially the floors are dirty and sticky & the front table for taking payment is very sticky and dirty and the common black "chalky" bathroom is absolutely 'vile!!' I wouldn't let my German shepherd use it!! Also, I noticed many times, that their one Portable Credit card machine is handed out to 'each & every' customer to pay, that walks in, or sits down at one of their dark wood tables "WITHOUT" never wiping it down, with ANY Clorox or Lysol wipes or reputable germ disinfectant! Sickening...???????? The Restaurant owners and staff, have clearly let their normal cleaning & infection standards for months and should be inspected soon by Halton Heath Department!

The staff here are very attentive and hospitable. The food is tasty and fresh. They have a good selection of beers to choose from. Sangria is very nice, I recommend the red wine sangria. They serve a variety of different tacos, which you order 1 by 1, which is really awesome. Other places force you to order 3 or more for 1 person. Which can suck if you want to try different tacos. Not here! Try then all! Prices range for $4.50 for the original to $6 per taco. My only constructive criticism is that they should lower the price of the alcohol. 1 glass of sangria was $12. I would like to see it reduced to $8 or $9, this way people will be more likely to order 2 glasses. But this place still gets 5 stars for their delicious food, awesome staff, awesome atmosphere, great interior and their unique patio.

Cool low budget decor concept with great service but the pricey menu and food served fell short of impressing on this early Sunday evening outing. The homemade Chorizo and Pork Belly were the highlights. Both were delicious in the dishes we ordered. Just tasted like they missed the mark on the intended flavourings. Has potential though, so I will give them another try.

They have a cute and cozy side patio that we chose to sit in. Their food menu is divided to “Tacos” and “Not Tacos”. We ordered “Chorizo, Cotija & Pork Belly Nachos” for appetizer and Margaritas for drink. I enjoyed my drink a lot since I love Tequila. For entrée, we ordered “Fish Taco” and “Beef Cheek Taco”. Fish taco was amazing and very delicious; I strongly recommend it. If I go there again, I will order 10 Fish Tacos with Margarita and nothing else! Lol!

This place needs a review of service and understanding of table times. To deny a table of 1 + child when the restaurant is absolutely empty makes no economical sense. Especially because a mother and child are probably aiming to be in and out. This is unfortunately been a recurring theme. We dined here once successfully and met the owner-had a beautiful time. Great little spot with amazing Tacos. We tried the Classic Tacos, Fish Taco and Chicken taco. Each one tasted amazing. Also had the appetizer of Chorizo Foldies. Two great tacos with sausage inside, toppings are plenty. One of the best tacos in a long while, will be definitely coming back here again.

While the menu is slightly different than its sister restaurant in Hamilton (The Mule), Burro is the same excellent quality of food, great service, and comfortable ambiance. Since I'm vegan, I usually order their veggie options and have them adjust them slightly, which they do without question. The food is made-to-order with fresh ingredients, and the flavour combinations are wonderful.

The tacos selection is perfect, the waiter Matt was very polite (he man be the manager or owner, I'm not sure). Once I got the hot sauce from them I was able to enjoy my tacos to the max, without the hot sauce it wasnt hot enough for me , but I do eat more spicy food than the average joe, so it may be the perfect level for the average joe.

Service was great. Pretty decent music selection (early 90s hip hop). Tacos were good but not out of this world. This is especially the case when you specialize in mostly just tacos. They did not have shrimp tacos or tacos al pastor and were sold out of their beef cheek tacos.

Best place to go in Burlington if you’re feeling tacos & drinks. Great location for a night out. Fun atmosphere/staff and good selection of food and drinks. Only negative feedback is the portion for the Guacamole is very small. Tacos I tried ranked (most to least): Fish, Brussel Sprout, Hamburger (special menu item), Chicken. We will definitely be back.

Overpriced and the taste is not good at all. We had the guacamole and chips for appetizer, portion was ridiculously small, they put way too much lime that overpowers the taste, I guess they are trying to preserve the guacamole. We also ordered beef cheek tacos and the meat had no flavor at all, it was all in the juice. I was expecting some kind of grilled chicken meat for the Souvlaki taco but it was deep fried breaded chicken. The flavors were just not right. I guess people think that just putting tortilla with tasteless meat and some sour cream makes a taco.

Was with a world-travelling friend who had lived in Mexico -- and had previously owned a Mexican restaurant -- when we decided to check the place out. He was "amazed" (not making that up!) at how good the tacos were despite really wanting the caviche (it was unavailable because their stock was down for pandemic-related reasons). Guacamole was great. Service very friendly, cordial, helpful (though servers tended to disappear for varying periods of time -- likely due to the sheer size of the restaurant and the distance to the Brant St patio). Went back the next day and my friend was even more impressed. He's a lover of Mexican fish dishes and swears by the fish tacos. Looking forward to the caviche ... :)

Hands down the best taco joint in Burlington. Food and customer service are top notch. I messed up my takeout order and they remade it without hesitation.They cater to those with gluten and dairy allergies as well. Check them out, you won't regret it.

The food was okay but incredibly overpriced for the portions you get. The hard shell tacos are no bigger or different from an old El Paso taco shell you’d make at home. I was shocked when my bill for queso, tacos and a few drinks was more than I typically spend for two at The Keg. I feel that neither the food nor the overall experience justified the amount I paid. I’d much rather go to chipotle or burrito boyz to satisfy my taco craving, where I’m getting much better value for my money (tasty food, healthy portions, much lower prices) or indulge on an amazing evening out at The Keg.

Walked in the door and was asked if we had a reservation while a white couple breezed through without being asked that question. So, I think that this little Mexican restaurant is for Whites Only. They just approach non whites "differently". I gave them a star because I don't have the option of no star.

Tried the cauliflower tacos and they were incredible! Unfortunately there must have been a miscommunication as I received an extra sweet potato taco when I asked for Brussels sprouts but that's all right. The server I had was so good. Located on Brant Street in Burlington this restaurant serves great Mexican food. The service is excellent too! We tried Burro Bravas (fried potatoes with hot sauce n sour cream), Brussel Sprout taco, bulldog margarita. Corn tostada and cheesecake. The server was very attentive and ensured we had a lovely experience. She kept recommending the “must try” items to us. For our kid, we tried the cheese quesadilla which was nice as well!

I am a foodie at heart and traveled the world but love eating great, fun, foodie food at home and the tacos at Burro are outstanding, the service on the other hand is horrible. This was my second time to Burro and the service keeps getting worse. The girl whom looked after our table was extremely rude, never checked in with our table and ignored me on several occasions when I tried to get her attention even though she was staring right at me. The restaurant was busy and I understand times like this can be stressful, but it gives you no right to be rude and take it out on your guests. You could tell she did not want to be there and didn’t care if we knew it. Coming from someone whom has been in the hospitality industry for 20 yrs this was unacceptable. It would be hard to return even though the food is quite good.

The food at Burro is great but I really have to wonder about their business model. When we were there tonight we got a table after waiting and walking around for 45 minutes. While waiting and eating we watched soooo many people get turned away while tables sat empty and uncleared. They need to be more efficient at clearing tables and moving people off their wait list. Not sure I’ll be waiting again as it doesn’t seem they are interested in serving nearly as many people as want to eat there.

Had the bravas supreme. It was tasty but a breakfast size portion. Three others with me had tacos. $5.50 EA but they recommend 2 or 3. Well offer a better deal for 2 or 3. You need at least 3 to fill up on. $18 for glass of red wine. It's only $18.95 on the market. Service was fast and friendly. Just small portions for the prices.

Usually the food here Is amazing, but today there was an issue with both the taste and texture of the tacos. The taco shells fell apart immediately upon touching and the chicken was so over cooked it had the texture of a paste. There were something off about the flavour as well. I don’t know if the products have changed or it was just an off day. The service was great.

I've now traveled 46 of 50 states and through 5 provinces and Mexico. I was low key on a quest to find the best tacos in North America. Though, a little pricey, the uniqueness of Burro far outweighs that. I enjoyed every taco they offered and they even had a completely GF kitchen which is a huge thing to reduce allergy risk for me. Hands down, the best most unique tacos I've ever eaten.

Could have used bolder flavours. Case in point: their 'Classic Taco' is pretty pain ground beef and cheese. A classic taco your suburban mom made you growing up maybe, but not a true classic. The ceviche was also oddly flavoured with cumin (or something similar) that made for a disappointing dish. That said, the sweet potato Taco was good, but I don't see myself coming back here.

I came here tonight and got the cauliflower and sweet potato tacos, $6 per taco so it’s fairly expensive however it was really good!! We sat on the patio and admired the Mexican ambiance with the graffiti and tequila bottles filled with water. Customer service could be improved but they were quite busy. Our initial hostess actually took our menus at the front door when we entered and we had to share one at the table when we sat down. It made no sense. Other than that it was a good experience and I’ll definitely recommend this place to my friends :) thank you for the vegetarian options- it’s much appreciated ❤️

First time visiting, but would come back due to delicious food, fair price, and attentive service. The menu at Burro can change daily and is limited very similarly to their sister restaurant in Hamilton, The Mule. Thankfully staff at Burro were dressed a little more professionally than at the Mule. While the menu is limited what is offered tasted very good. Had the Jerk Pork & Spicy Beef Cheek tacos and the tiger shrimp slaw, prices for all pretty reasonable. Would like to see this place expand their menu and offer frozen margaritas. Would return if i was in the area but not really worth going out of your way for.

As a downtown Burlington resident, I’m disappointed to say that I will no longer be frequenting Burro restaurant. I have been many items in the past, which is why I chose this particular restaurant for an important night out with my partner. I’ve only run into petty issues. Understanding that they are very busy lately, I contacted them on Tuesday via Facebook to make reservations for Friday late evening. I was turned away on Facebook, only to be told to send in an email. Yet every other time i have booked to reserve, it’s been on Facebook. First problem. Secondly, I sent an email in which they responded within a few hours, I asked them to please book me in the the latest time slot available. They emailed me back the next day saying the latest is 7:30. I replied saying to thank you, that was great for me, figuring they had already booked me in like I asked them to. An entire DAY later... the very day before my big dinner, they emailed me back saying they were full for the the night. I was absolutely livid... horrible customer service since clearly they filled my 7:30 time slot with someone else, considering two whole days had passed by... also this ALL could have been avoided if they just took the two minutes on Tuesday via Facebook, to book me in. However they beat around the bush and used that two minutes typing time to ask me to email. Not sure what difference it makes, but now my entire evening is ruined on especially short notice, I have no idea where I’m going to go now for this important date. Never again.

Visited Burro for the first time last night. My husband's choice for his birthday celebration (it was his actual birthday). I had made a reservation for 6pm for myself, my husband and our two boys 17 & 11. When I called to make the reservation, I was told from 6 to 8pm - so I assumed they had a seating plan such as an 'a la carte' - not ever having gone to Burro. Our server was great and helpful explaining the menu. Our food and drinks were excellent and it was a great little spot!!! We had just finished our meals and had ordered a funnel cake dessert when to our disappointnent, we were told by our server (at 7:20) that we had to leave as a 7:30 reservation was coming in!! We hadn't even finished our drinks and were offered to have our dessert packed up before we even got it!! I then said no thank you to the dessert and she handed our check. It was $160 before tip!!! Paid, and I did tip!! See ya later Burro!!!! A little dumbfounded, we were ticked to say the least and had to share!!!

first time trying this place. the tacos were very small, and waaay overpriced for the size. the bean taco was decent but it was such a greased up mess. it was leaking all over the box and hands. the guacamole and chips portion for $9 is an actual joke. spent over $30 for two people and not even close to enough food. definitely much better alternatives out there for the price. won’t be back anytime soon.

To put it simply Burro is the best restaurant in Burlington for tacos at the time of this review, On my first visit we were seated within minutes, had our drinks in another few minutes and selected a few tacos. This is where Burro impressed me, I've been cooking both as a hobby/profession for nearing a decade and most of the time when I eat food around Burlington (specifical tacos) they lack flavor and taste worse than if I had simply made them myself. Burro is different, the Tacos that I had (Classic / Achiote Chicken / Charred Broccoli & Summer Corn) all were delicious, my favorite was the Classic due to its cheaper price and overall flavor being above average in comparison to many things I have put in my mouth over the years. The Classic also threw me off because it tasted like there was a hot sauce on it but the hot sauce seemed to lack heat and was more of a sweet variant with a very very mild heat that wasn't present for the whole time I consumed the taco but hit me a few minutes later. The one thing I wished they had were entrees of ceviche, their ceviche offerings are limited to one dish that also happened to be a 'sampler' (as described by our waitress) which is a bit of a letdown as Burlington doesn't have many ceviche offerings. Their drinks seem pricey but they are also fairly strong if I had to guess I would put them at around 2oz of liquor which is a larger shot than the average for Burlington which I put around 1oz most places. Burro also has a great patio, tons of shade, a decent amount of space and it's in a cozy little section off to the side of the restaurant. I would highly recommend Burro to any taco lover, now all they need is Taco Tuesday!!

Emailed this place numerous times to get a reservation. Never called me back and used the excuse that email must have gone to junk or I have the wrong email. Called in and spoke to a girl named Meghan. She was extremely extremely rude and hung up the phone. Not sure if this is manager or the owner but this individual really would benefit from training on how to speak abd treat clients / customers looking to come to this establishment. On top of all my wife is a gluten free restaurant reviewer. As a result of how rude Meghan was on the phone with my wife present on Bluetooth we both decided to cancel the effort in even trying their menu. We enjoy going out for dinner / ordering pick up snd this is by far the worst experience we have had in years. As a result I would say stay away from this place unless you want to deal with someone who makes excuses for not receiving emails and or needs a hospitality training course to learn customer service.

I went to Burro yesterday. Food was phenomenal. Tacos were delicious and fully gluten free. I enjoyed the Greek and fish tacos the most. Full of flavour and the perfect balance. The only thing that was disappointing was the size of the appetizer...I had the guacamole with chips...it was a handful of chips and a scoop of guacamole for $9. I would of like a larger portion for the price...I had a hard time sharing.

I come from Hamilton into Burlington specifically for Burro. They are under the same management of The Mule taco joint in Hamilton but it cannot compare to the experience of Burro. Low-key, super trendy inside, friendly staff, amazing selection of craft beer, GLUTEN FREE, and delicious cocktails. Burro is such a gem in the Burlington downtown area. A must visit as patio season approaches.

Tacos are $6 each and an adult can eat 4 to 6 as per what our waiter told us Edited to add in response to comment below from owner: my husband who is average build ate 5 of them easily and said that was a good amount for him. Which cost approx $30 plus tax for just him, plus drinks and dessert. And the waiter told us most people eat 4 to 6 but when he is drunk he will eat about 9 and he was also average size. Also the cookies n cream cheesecake in a jar dessert was delicious

Delicious tacos, super friendly staff, decent drinks. We got guacamole and chips as a starter. First round of chips were freshly fried and tasted good. I got three tacos: fish, spicy beef cheek, and classic. The classic was the best, followed closely by the fish. I appreciated the alley seating artwork, it helped freshen up the feel. My husband and I came here for the first time for a late lunch a couple weeks ago and man were we blown away! I have worked in restaurants and hospitality for a very long time and have tried just about everything when it comes to restaurants and Burro very easily makes it into our top experiences of all time. The food was absolutely incredible, we shared the pork belly nachos and then shared 4 of their current tacos and although we each had our favourites, every single one of them was completely delicious in their own right. The atmosphere is great too, although we went on a quiet Sunday afternoon, you could feel the energy and buzz this little gem would have at a busier time. The decor is fabulous and not cheesy and we can't wait to go back in the summer and enjoy the patio with thwir stunning artwork on their outside walls. Top notch for everything, we will definitely be going back over and over again to try the rotating tacos :)

Sneaky waitress was quick to upsell us other stuff without mention of an extra cost which is fine - but it was just sneakier than I’m used to and I eat out often! Smaller tacos than most places. They tasted good but would t write home about them… perhaps I’m from the big city with higher standards

Today was the second time we visited Burro. I would have made my review on our first visit but not having a reservation (highly recommended) we kind of ate and ran as they had many reservations. We came back today and I can't express our appreciation for the food and service we received. The watermelon salad was a real work of art from the kitchen. We had chicken, beef, and fish tacos all were excellent. All our food was presented beautifully. Nice to sit on the side patio as it is covered with red awnings to give shade from the sun.Thanks to the kitchen and servers for a great time.

I visited this place seeing the good reviews on Google but I was extremely disappointed. We ordered the 10 layer Dip with chips, fish taco, buffalo cauliflower taco, draught beer and Don Julio as drinks. First impression the quantity is very less for the price. For $11 the 10 layer dip is in a very small cup where I am unable to enjoy any of the authentic flavors of a 10 layer dip. Next for $6 we just get one taco which was very surprising for me. Never seen a single taco served before. Flavors of the tacos were good but really unhappy for what we get for the price. No value for money and this is not even an upscale restaurant. Spent over $40 and I felt I just had an appetizer and left me hungry. I don't usually write negative reviews but this one really disappointed me.

This was our go to Mexican restaurant in the neighbourhood and it was amazing, awesome flavours, and fresh but lately it has been different. We normally get one of each taco, wings, and one or two other dishes. Last night, the taco shells were very stale and disappointing. We love the wings from here as they are very small compared to other places. In the past, we usually get 10 wings but recently it has gotten less and less. Last night we got 6 and were told that it was weighed. To us, it looks the same and also 6 is quite different from 10 considering the cost. In general, portions feel inconsistent and I hope the quality of food doesn't change.

The best tacos. Place is a little small but it's quaint. It's conveniently located on Brant Street. The drinks are really good too but slightly expensive. Tacos are a good size it extremely delicious. Would highly recommend and will definitely be going back.

My boyfriend and I visited Burro for lunch the other week. We loved all the tacos we ordered (2x classic, 2x chicken, 2x sweet potato), The sweet potato was my favourite and definitely one of the best tacos I've ever had!

One of my first dining out experience since Covid and would not recommend. Arrived at the restaurant and waited ten minutes before anyone even acknowledged me. While waiting I kept hearing the waitress dismissing people and telling them their time was up. We ordered our tacos and drinks and had not even spent an hour at the table before the waitress awkwardly told us the next reservation was there and we needed to leave. There were still prior tables dining that had been seated prior to us. It was a friend’s birthday and we did not even have a chance to chat because we were rushed off. I can see if we had overextended our stay but it had not even been one hour. Would not recommend unless you enjoying being rushed away.

Their interesting ingredients combos for tacos was fantastic. Crispy brussel sprouts taco and chorizo taco were my favourite. They also have some different cocktail options including this winter berry inspired one that was delicious. Gluten free friendly.

Tried eating at Burro today for the first time and were met with utter disrespect from the apparent manager. We arrived around 12:30pm, a group of two and a baby stroller. The restaurant was pretty empty. One of the larger tables on the right hand side of the restaurant was vacant as well as all of the high top tables on the left hand side. The hostess was very pleasant and seemed new to the job. She said she had to check with the manager to see if they could accommodate the stroller. After speaking to the manager, we were refused service!! Completely shocked (since the place was half empty) we asked if it was possible to push over one of the high top tables slightly and we would tuck the stroller in that spot. The hostess said she had to check with the manager again. We witnessed the conversation taking place about our table and the manager was completely annoyed and angry...standing with her and on her hip with a face full of attitude, huffing and puffing and rolling her eyes as she reluctantly shifted over one of the tables, which took a matter of seconds to do. She also had to prove a point by taking the menu which appeared to be attached to a clipboard and slam in on the the table as hard as she could...with one last eye roll, of course. I guess that was a way to let us know what a huge inconvenience we were to her. Not only did this make us feel so unwanted and uncomfortable, it also showed other patrons (the majority, if not all of the people in there witnessed what happened) that common courtesy and basic respect and severely lacking. I told the hostess how uncomfortable we were made to feel and we left. The food may be good (I’ll never know), but service above all else, always matters most.

Literally just a “quick bite” the food was subpar, quesada quality for high end restaurant pricing... the portions are tiny for the price tag. Spent $42 (with tip because the customer service was awesome) and was so disappointed when we opened the food to tiny the tiniest meatless wings and the quesadilla was dry and tiny it was $14... won’t be coming back sadly.

The only thing is sometimes the wait sucks and they need to grow a little in size. But its tough, cause the size adds to the wonder of Burro. Ive been here twice this week....planning to hit it up a third time. Giving the mule a huge run for their money.

We had the classic and chicken tacos, along with a plate of nachos. At first glance I thought that the tacos were a bit pricy. But... They were delicious. They are worth the price. They were not the regular, authentic tacos, but delicious versions. They have a gluten free kitchen and vegetarian options. The wait staff was quick and kind.

This is an interesting place to try. People were really nice and the service was amazing. We had a nice conversation which brought a friendly vibe to the establishment. They have quite a selection of Tacos to choose from and the flavour tasted great. We had the Brussel Sprout taco and although the flavours of the sauces were good, the brussel sprout was quite flavourless and was not soft enough to bite into comfortably. They were quite hard still and so they slid around the taco and was hard to eat. Overall its a great place to try but maybe go for the Fish taco instead.

Phenomenal. Great atmosphere, the service was fantastic. The food was amazing, and practically no wait time. We were seated straight away, our server came over explained the menu, answered our questions and promptly took our order. The food was brought our quite quickly, despite it being busy. It was hot and fresh, and delicious. Next time we'll be ordering one of every taco. Of the ones we ordered, we would order each of them again. It will not be long before we return.

This is a super cool restaurant!! If you are not one for spicy food it may not be for you. I feel they could also add some burritos and some other non taco dishes. Vibe is casual and super chill, which I like. Wait staff is the best!

Got seated right away outside, but it took 15m for a server to arrive. The staff was friendly and polite. The original and spicy cheeky were to my taste buds just ok... However others may love it. Won't be coming back but it was a decent place for a small bite.
