Wow. What a meal. I went in for waffles and it was a couple of minutes past breakfast time so I ended up with a club sandwich instead. These folks really know how to make a stackable sandwich! Loads of tasty turkey and mayo. I never had to ask for a coffee refill even once - just kept Comin! I’ll be back, and soon.

Hash browns for both meals were undercooked. The waitress never came back. I ended up asking a another waitress for the bill I told her the food wasn’t that great. They gave us $5 off our bill. I could really careless about the discount. The food was just very disappointing.

Sad to say that everything about this place was unacceptable. The fish was mediocre while the fries were way overcooked and the coleslaw tasted like salad. It took 40 minutes to receive our meal and there was one other table in the restaurant.

The service is beyond reproach and the food 2nd to none. The atmosphere is very family oriented with a well done, thought out modern decor. Management took the time to ensure that we were completely satisfied with our dining experience. I would highly recommend this restaurant to both locals and the traveling public.

Worst service ever!! Waitress was VERY RUDE! Barking at customers. Coffee got cold and she never asked if we needed more. We called her twice to get her attention. We asked for more and ordered a side of pancakes. She BARKED at me saying :"OH I WILL CHARGE YOU FOR THE PANKAKES THEY DON'T COME WITH YOUR ORDER!" I said I know. Well she never came back or apologized for the wait or said she will be right there, and the coffee was right there on the counter. The only other waitress kept telling customers who wanted to order that she was only the drinks girl...an older gentleman wanted coffee and tried to get their attention for 10 minutes. We were done and asked for our bill. She brought it and said "OH SORRY I DIDN'T GET YOU THE PANKAKES NO TIME HERE I'M THE ONLY ONE AND ITS BUSY!" That was the worst service I had anywhere!!

I ordered a side of toast, the order was bumped off the table when I got up to go to the washroom. The waitress was a sweetheart and got me a new order before I even made it back to the table. I'll keep coming back, it's a great place to catch up with friends in the morning.

They have improved since they opened in my opinion, we've had good luck, but they are still hit and miss when it comes to customer service. I enjoy their stir fry / butter chicken bowls and my fiancée likes the Caprice Salad.

This place is great.... Most of the time. The waitress we had seemed tired and confused when we were there. I had asked for my sausages to be substituted for bacon. Meaning 6 slices of bacon instead of 3 of each. She didn't seem to understand. Still great food and a great time. But maybe more training is needed. I'm not sure. Will be back for sure!

I’ve got take out twice now they say it’ll take them 15-20 and Ive sat there for an extra 20 minutes each time, the portions of food you get in take out are most definitely not worth the prices they are making you pay. There is better places in brooks to go then here

Food was ok lacked flavor I had eggs Benny and the hollandaise sauce tasted like thick water. The hash browns were over cooked and even with the cheese and green onions I had to add quite a bit of ketchup so I could eat them. If I wasn't so hungry going in I would not have eaten this food. Service was just ok. We got coffee and our waitress didn't ask if we wanted it topped up until late we were ready to leave. But she was very pleasant.

Over all our experience at Ricky's was very unpleasant, I honestly think it is the worst restaurant experience I have ever had. When the waitress addressed us she often used terms of endearment such as "Sweet Pea, Hun, Darling, Sweet heart, and ext. " towards myself and my husband, as well as the other people we were eating with. Which is very unprofessional. Our waitress was very unattentive. There was not enough cutlery on the table, which normally isn't a big deal but she was not around enough to ask for more. We ended up grabbing some off a different table. She forgot my husbands Caesar, and never refilled my glass which when empty I placed on the edge of the table. She also never asked if we wanted a refill or "Is there anything I can get you?" She took over 5+ minuets to bring us gravy and pepper after asking for it when our food arrived. She did not remove our appetizer dishes before bringing out our mains. When she did return with the gravy and pepper I stated "Excuse me? I have some concerns about my steak." She either did not hear (Which I doubt) or heard me a choose to run away and ignore me. I understand that how my steak is cooked is not her fault, however I would have liked to discuss my concern with her and possibly fix the problem. Not leave a 30$ steak half eaten. My steak was cooked unevenly (well done spots and blue rare spots) which I would have preferred them to cooked it all well done if they can't cook a good rare steak. The waitress also loudly complained to other consumers through out the time we were there "This night can't go more wrong! The took my dish washed so I'm so busy! I have a bunch of dishes piled up in the back." But yet she still had time to kiss a man I assume was her boyfriend, who was sitting at the bar the whole time we were there as well as have a few personal conversations with him. After finishing our food we waited at least 20 minutes for the bill. We watched people who arrived after us and finished after us get to pay first. She also leisurely had conversationsome with other customers. We gave up and we to the front to wait. It still took her about 10 minuets to get to us so we could finally pay. Also, the woman's bathroom as looked like it hadn't been mopped or wiped down in a long while. The waitress never did introduce her self, but the name on the receipt said "Amanda P"

Worst food I have ever had, the starter and sides were good but the "perfect prime rib sandwich was drenched in grease, the chicken wrap was so so soggy it was falling apart when we complained the waitress dismissed us, I will never go again completely counter to review on here

Went there tonight with my kids first off the food we had was great except for the fact that 2 outta 3 orders were wrong not to mention the wife found not 1 but 2 hairs in her food . As well our server seemed to be new which was all fine but once our orders had to get brought back the service took a turn to the ground weren't ask for no more refills had to still napkins off the table our waitress seemed to not want to serve us anymore will not be going back but like I said the food was good

Went in for Sunday breakfast on April 14th. Waited 2 hours to get our food (no word of a lie or exaggeration). Everyone seemed to have slow but our table was excessive, especially for a not so busy Sunday. Orders were wrong and though she discounted the food, by the time the added back on the coffee and tea it only came to a 20% discount. I appreciate that thing happen and there are mess ups but when it takes 1.5 hrs to realize you haven’t put the order in maybe more that a senior citisen’s discount is called for. Needless to say not the place for breakfast and not going back the Brooks location.

Best service in Brooks. I’ve worked in the restaurant industry and as a costumer, I can appreciate the hospitality. The food is amazing, would definitely recommend the steak and cheese with sweet potato fries. 10/10

We watched a customer have to argue with a server where he wanted to sit. We heard a server complain about the restaurant to the table next to us. We watched the entire wait staff go for a smoke break at the same time, with a full restaurant. We asked for more cream for our coffee and never received it. After waiting nearly 35 minutes for out food, I received the wrong toast and couldn't get my servers attention to try and correct it. The staff seemed more concerned about gossiping and complaining about their supervisor than doing their actual job.
