Never again. Harvey’s should call it quits. Over priced money-grab, incredibly slow service, ticked-off Uber drivers waiting 25 minutes for their orders, tonight was a very bad experience. The overhead menu boards don’t show prices for a simple regular hamburg, price increases make their stuff uncompetitive, quality is poor, and the overall experience was really not nice. We ended up at Wendy’s, across the street.

Ordered a burger and a veggie burger, 2 onion rings and 2 waters in the drive thru heading back from Quebec to Kingston. Waited in the drive thru for 20 minutes with only 2 other cars ahead of us. Thought we would give benefit of the doubt and thought perhaps busy inside however No one inside at counter when we got to the window???? It’s an absolute joke here.

Food was as expected - usual Harvey's quality and taste. Ordering was painful as it was a new staff member. Final paid for order had numerous errors from what was originally asked for. Despite buying $30+ worth of food, and the cause of the mistake being their new staff member, the more senior staff felt it was appropriate to make us pay $0.55 more to correct their mistake. The ONLY saving grace was a staff member (manager?) walked through the restaurant as we were eating asking each set of guests how things were, and he did offer to rectify the situation, which i truly appreciated (but declined).

We have visited this location at least a dozen times since moving to the area, since I usually enjoy Harvey's veggie burgers. Unfortunately, the quality at this location has been so spotty over the last 6-12 months that I can't justify wasting the time to go back. Often, burgers are either burnt or severely undercooked to the point of being tasteless grey mush. A couple of times the buns were very stale. Once when I ordered inside, there were just 3 people ahead of me, but we waited over 20 minutes while staff served dozens of orders to drive-through customers (assuming this is because speed metrics are measured for the drive-through). Staff are generally friendly, toppings are fresh. We do visit other Harvey's locations periodically and have found their burgers to be properly cooked every time, so I don't understand why this location is finding it so difficult.

The first thing to hit you is the smell... just old and stale, the smell of fryer oil wafting through. Then, there’s the look. The 90’s has never left this tired, old restaurant. But let’s give it a chance, right? I mean, I love Harvey’s burgers, and maybe the food is just fine. Until I decided to stop by the men’s room. Dirty, smelly, and a broken soap dispenser. There was no other soap around, but I am sure that the employees have a stash somewhere, right?

Slowest Harvey's ever experienced. 4 staff in the floor- 1 dressing burgers while 3 stood around waiting. Our food was served moderately cool (!!) Except for the shake. That was served cold but w/o straw [#SaveTheTurtles] Everything was prepped in ToGo to limit potential germ transmission even though the restaurant was open for in-store dining. Not particularly clean dining room all things considered. I love the Harvey's product & value and relish the opportunity to eat there... But this one is an underperformer ATB. it has nothing to do with the folksy Brockville locals choose paying in cash + use hoarded pennies. Pun intended ... outing residents of Brockville unavoidable bc it's just hilarious

We went through the drive-through at the Brockville Harveys. Got a double original burger meal and a junior burger. Service was very polite and delightful! The burgers were super fresh and delicious. Thank you!!!

Place was really dirty including prep, kitchen, and bathroom which was particularly disgusting. Onion rings and fries were overcooked. I left with my food and hit the road and thought twice about eating it, wasn't sure if it was worth the risk. Go to pizza Nova down the road instead.

We came here from out of town and the quality of customer service was far better than I've ever received in a fast food environment. The customer service representative (Matthew) even went as far as cutting up the vegetables for my Buffalo Chicken French Fry Bowl. All of this with a smile on his face!

Seeing the world In a different way

Stopped by this Harvey's on a road trip used the drive thru and everything went well with no surprises. Food tasted good ànd met my expectations.

Short staffed and guys are slow that are there. Place was not clean. Had fries everywhere on the floor and most tables were dirty. My poutine had next to no graveyard in it and burger was made with a cold bun. All my years eating at Harvey's this has been the first one that I was just bad in every way. Waited over 5 minutes in the drive thru. Then we placed our order. Paid for our food. Was looking forward to my new cheese burger and it was really dark almost burnt and wasnt asked about ketchup or vinegar salt n pepper. Cheese was not there like the commercial. Very disappointed in it. First bad experience ever. It was the Brockville location.

The angus at harveys is really great. Less greasy than their regular patty. Angus hit the spot so well i had to have a second. Not a gormet burger but it carries its weight.

Update: Dinner shift tonight. Usually a 5 but the staff on this visit were lazy, dudnt care. 5 minutes standing at counter waiting, alone, to place order. Druve through looked at me, cooks looked at me. Finally had to shout is anyone taking orders, clued out and honestly less than helpful. Staff lazy, dont care. Bacon not cooked. Sloppy burger. Dissatisfied

Update #2: I've tried tried several months to order here and there. And they don't answer my order request & they ignore the phone. Therefore if you are unable to drive and plan on ordering through any app I definitely do not recommend. Update: Manager contacted me and was very responsive and looked into the situation. So I changed to 3 stars for now. Tried to order delievery at 9:27pm. A sandwich & milkshake. They call and tell me no milkshakes because their machine is shut down. How come your machine is shut down 30 minutes before delivery ends & 1 hour before you close? How is this fair to the customers that order these things? So they shut it down and decided not to post it or inform anyone prior. I'm assuming this is happening because at a certain point they simply don't feel like making "messy" orders & higher up management probably doesn't know or at least a manager good at their job doesn't know. I've worked fast food for years and that's pretty much how it goes. Very poor customer service, very unreliable. We will not be back.

First time back out to eat a lunch since lockdown lifted, and decided to go to Harvey’s for a quick meal before going to the show, and the entire meal was cold! Worked for the milkshake, terrible for the hamburger and frings! They weren’t even sitting on the warming area, so never thought they would be cold, they must have precooked a bunch, we didn’t have to wait at all, which is a bad sign, and they didn’t even try to reheat them. Cold onion rings...Yuck! Both meals were cold. Doubt we will go back. ????

On Sunday, January 27, 2019 around 8 pm we went to your location and ordered two Angus Burgers, with onion rings and a drink! The burgers were not Angus burgers and were not fresh and were cold! We ate and left but we’re not impressed! We normally enjoy our burgers at your location but we were very disappointed this evening!

Told my wife , Harvey’s has the best burgers they make them on the grill . Never again still recovering 48 hrs later from food poisoning. brockville Harvey’s off the 401 stay away . After this experience I won’t be going to any Harvey location ever again.

Even though the service was a little slow I enjoyed my experience here. The server was alone and it was fairly busy (2 larger groups ahead of us and multiple cars in the drive thru) he kept his cool and tried to be as efficient as possible. The food was great and the onions rings were perfectly crispy. I would go back again.

It takes very little time to get your orders and it's the first place that if I buy fries and walk back to the car they are still hot not warm but hot. Yummy. The food is great and they have a great variety. Check it out you won't be sorry.
