Although this is kind of considered a sports bar, they have a variety of different menu items including pasta. You will also find wraps, sandwiches, salads, hamburgers and ribs as well. They do not have much in the way of beers on tap however, only two and not sure if they change or not.

My fiance and myself ordered some suicide wings and a bacon cheeseburger with a side Caesar salad. The salad was one of the best I've had, it was fresh. The burger was well made and delicious. The one downside was the suicide wings which weren't that hot but my fiance loves hot stuff so take that with a grain of salt.

The price and portions are good,I give it 3 stars because there are some food items that arent the best. Some days I can get a good salad that is fresh and some days I get wilted leaves. I also think its really strange that their ceasar salad isnt ceasar at all, I can tell the parmesan is cheap and dressing isn't homemade; it's also weird that they put red onions in it. Their wings are good.

I just ordered from here and picked up my food, although I have not eaten it yet (it smells amazing) the customer service is unbelievably good!!! I went in, paid and they brought it to my car for me so that I didnt have to wait!! Very friendly and very convenient. Will come here time and time again based on that alone!! Job well done.

Have eaten here for over 10 years and don't ever remember having a bad meal. Place has had a refresh front and back in the last 4-5 years. Menu prices have stayed the same in some areas and increased in others which is to be expected. My wife's favorite is the Brantford Bisons wrap, daughter the chicken wings as for me if not the Cardiac has to be the Philly haha. Great place for the game, date night, family night out or any occasion in between, the Rec Room has you covered!

This hidden gem pub in Brantford is a great place to enjoy pub food and drinks. Their ribs are the best I've had and its the only place I would order them for an affordable price. I drive 45 min from my city just for the ribs, plus they have TV's if you want to watch a hockey, basketball or baseball game.

Very disappointed with Sammy's! Ordered 2 lbs wings with side fries and Philly Cheese steak with fries for takeout.The wings were very bland with no flavour to the sauces ( honey garlic and BBQ) Also never received my side fries. Sammy's gave me a credit but I doubt I will eat there again. I think they watered down their sauces too!! Used to really enjoy their wings but I guess all good things come to an end! ???? No star rating!

Tiny bar that i'd never heard of but a friend took me to. Limited beer tap selection but it's not a huge place either Ordered the cheddar bacon burger wit a poutine and was incredibly surprise at how good it was. the beef gravy on the poutine was perfect, little light on the cheese (grated not curds) and the flame cooked burger was excellent. Great value for a quality meal. Would def return and recommend

We hired Sammy's to cater our wedding, which was at an offsite venue with no kitchen. Dealing with Derek and the staff at Sammy's was an amazing experience that made our wedding planning much less stressful. Sammy's not only provided the catering, but also chair, table and dishes rentals. For food - They cooked ribs and chicken outside the day of our wedding using a portable BBQ station. They also provided caesar salad, bean salad, corn on the cob, and corn bread. Since the meal had potential to get messy (with the sauce on the ribs), Sammy's also provided napkins and wet naps for our 130 guests. Our guests loved the food - which was obvious by how clean the rib bones looked on people's plates. The corn bread was also a big hit and the portions were big. Sammy's also provided a portable bar and ice and had staff that were friendly. The biggest thing was how calm and collected Derek and the rest of his staff were. For that reason alone, I would recommend them to anyone looking for a casual wedding...the amazing chicken and ribs was just a huge added bonus!

Service was fine but I'm just so dissapointed with whatever they did to their ribs ????...Went from best in town - fall off the bone super juicy heaven and flavorful - to sub par, chewy as all hell (I've never had to use a knife to break my ribs apart here, sawing at it like an overcooked steak) and bland. What's worse is I got the all you can eat ribs. Naturally I ate my mony's worth, the sauce was still good but it's safe to say I can no longer recommend the ribs to anyone...your wings and mashed potatoes could use some work too, just saying... Y'all are increasing prices while decreasing quality...i gotta find a new best place in town ????

Don't let the exterior fool you. They service is great and the food excellent. We ordered fish and chips and a whale arrived on our plates! Pricing very very good. I would have given a 5 but my son did get a nasty bit in his fries ...other than that it was great. Definitely our go to when in the area

I've been there twice, so it clearly was not that bad for me not to go back. But on my second visit, my friend and I ordered two Rickards Red on tap and the glass was colder than the actual beer. The service was friendly and their food is exactly what you would expect out of a little pub restaurant. I'd eat here again if I had to.

We came here to have some ribs, and it was absolutely fantastic! Best ribs in the area, and cheap! The plate was so big, it almost tipped the table, and I won't have to eat for a week! The beer leaked right out the bottle neck and into my belly, and the staff popped out like a genie and replaced it in under 2 seconds. Amazing. Thanks for the dinner.

Don't let the exterior fool you. This is by far one of the best places I have been to for real Fish and Chips. If you like beer battered fish and fresh cut fries, you will not be disappointed. The service was great. The washrooms clean and the atmosphere was homey and comfortable. You will not go home hungry, great value!!

I've been here a few times. It is nice. Prices are okay. They only have two beers that they make which is cool. The back room is kind of good for watching sports, the front room I've never sat in, it seems crowded all the time. I like going there to watch basketball games. Decent atmosphere, pretty standard stuff. Good selection of wing sauces.

Prices have increased lots. Not very accommodating. I asked about hot beef sandwich. They do not serve it. But my friend. Ordered philly cheese steak. Isnt that just roast beef? I know when i worked in the business if it wasn't on the menu but we had the ingredients to make it i made it. I used to love this place.

You would never know it from the humble exterior but this establishment is truly a hidden gem. The venue is clean and tidy and the staff are courteous and attentive. The food is of high quality and cooked with expertise (nothing overdone or undercooked). The portions in each entrée are immense often defeating even the most hungry patron. The prices are incredibly modest given the sheer feast provided. I look forward to my next visit!

Very casual sport bar grill, many locals. When mentioned my destination to the clerk at the hotel, I got high five!!!! I would definitely be back at the next visit back to Brantford, local treasure.

If you just drive by because you think it's a fun down hole in the wall. You will be the one disappointed. Very fast, friendly service that leads to some of the most delicious meats and sides you'll ever eat. But wait there's more and by more, I mean more than enough food for any average or above eater. Huge servings. The three meat platter is a deal and a half for any meat eater. Parking is awful but worth finding a spot.

This place isn't much to look at, but not what you would call run down either. If first impressions are anything, you probably would not step foot in this place, but once inside it does not look nearly as bad as it does from the outside. The server's t-shirt says it all though, as parking is not adequate for the establishment. There is street parking however which accommodates quite well, just be careful what time of the month.

Comfort food at its finest! You will be hard pressed to find another restaurant that treats you like family and makes you feel as welcome as Mary and Sam do (as well as all of the staff). Been going there for years and plan to continue going there. It is also great for hockey team to grab their back room and have your own little dining experience.

My partner and I were in town for a wedding, staying at a nearby Airbnb and needed a place to eat. I searched TripAdvisor for something close by under the cheap eats as we weren't looking to spend or eat a lot. There were only a few places that came up other than your fast food chains, and this was one of them and it had good reviews so we decided this was it. This place isn't much to look at, but not what you would call run down either. If first impressions are anything, you probably would not step foot in this place, but once inside it does not look nearly as bad as it does from the outside. The server's t-shirt says it all though, as parking is not adequate for the establishment. There is street parking however which accommodates quite well, just be careful what time of the month. Service was quick and attentive, and they were very good about portioning our food on separate plates when we said we were splitting a meal. This is something that is always appreciated. Although this is kind of considered a sports bar, they have a variety of different menu items including pasta. You will also find wraps, sandwiches, salads, hamburgers and ribs as well. They do not have much in the way of beers on tap however, only two and not sure if they change or not. We split a chicken and cheese wrap, a take on a phalli cheese sandwich. The taste was good, but I found it a little too juicy and oily for my liking. The fries however were great, and the meal tasty and satisfying enough that I would not hesitate to go back. There were several other items that I would certainly have tried, and the costs were fare for all of the items. We would definitely go back here in the future. The establishment is much larger than it looks, and there is even a back room where they can do larger groups. May consider doing a group motorcycle ride here.

This funky diner has all the best atmosphere that the famously friendly city of Brantford can be depended upon to provide. Nutritionally "correct" though the menu may not be overall it sure fills up all the corners with good tasting grub and at a very reasonably price. Staff are extremely accommodating and comfortably friendly. While it obviously is a popular family place, I love to just sit at the bar and trade gossip with the locals while I try to work my way through another awesome burger.

I ordered 3 lbs of wings. 1 pound was supposed to be a dry rub and wasn't and the other two were honey garlic and mild. They are the worst wings I have ever eaten, 6/8 wings in each lb were drum sticks and they were hard and they had zero flavor. I will never order from here again. Went for wings on Wing night (79 cents a wing!) and had a poutine on the side. PThe poutine was completely amazing. Bigger than expected for a small, and the gravy was fantastic. No cheese curds though, which is a shame. Wings were very good as well. Large varieties of sauces and menu items including them. The wings came out nice and crunchy, perfectly cooked. The only negative we had was everything came out lukewarm, so by the time we were mid meal it had gotten cold. That doesn't deserve a point loss though. Everything was still delicious. We will return, next time for your ribs!

Man I used to love this spot, used to have the best burgers in town. Idk what happened to the burgers, just don't have the same unique taste... they're still big, but don't taste as good. Everything else seems good still, still get the ribs from time to time. Decided to go for dinner as I hadn’t been in a long time. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. Ordered the “Double D” and the amount of food was incredible. It includes Nachos, fries, chicken strips, deep fried pickles, wings, shrimp and mozzarella sticks. The only problem I had was the mozzarella sticks were still cold. Other than that it’s a very relaxed environment with great staff and great food.

The wings were completely over cooked which of course made them really dry. The fries were unappetizing. We order two pounds and two sides of fries. Just over $26.00 which I believe is reasonable. But not when you only eat about 5 wings in total and a few fries. Very disappointing, we used to go here all the time but don't we will will be returning anytime soon.
