I will start by saying that the food here is great. But after tonight I'm actually really annoyed by the service. The first couple of times I was there, it took about a half hour to get our food. Also those first 2 times, I picked out a hair out of a squid dish. 2 times in 2 visits. They did remake it and bring it back out. So in that respect they made it right. The 3rd time I was there, our orders were consistently wrong, and had to be corrected, which they did, which also led to longer wait times. I will give them some credit for trying to make it right, it was just baffling how disorganized they were on this. Now tonight was what did it for me. After an hour of waiting we finally got our food. We were considering walking out. Upon paying we said that an hour wait was ridiculous, and we were told that they had a lot of orders for take out, we weren't even offered a slight discount. I get that if you're busy, some things take longer, I accept that. But to de-prioritize your in house diners for the favour of takeout was quite frustrating, and a horrible way to run a business. They really need to rethink how their kitchen operates, and how the service is delivered. I gave this place multiple chances because I actually loved the food, but the service is a straight up face palm. Even though I love the food, after today, this will be my last time going there. I can't get by the absolute trainwreck the service is. They really need to rethink how they are running this. It's got potential to be a phenomenal restaurant. I really was hoping they would be able to pull it together.

Stopped by Pho Vietnam on our way through Brantford and had the best Pho we’ve had in a long time! The broth had the depth of flavour that you can only get from authentic cooking techniques, not like the single facet soup you often get from the Asian food chains. The mango salad had a punchy spicy dressing that balanced well with the beef pho. It’s a simple clean restaurant serving delicious aromatic food - everything we wanted.

We were super excited when Pho Vietnam 999 opened in 2017. This is the best Vietnamese restaurant in Brantford offering generous portions at decent prices. My kids love the pho, spring rolls, cold rolls and mango salad. The only downside I would mention is the older lady that works there that uncomfortably stares, so sit further towards King George Road if you prefer privacy.

I’ve had good food there and I’ve had bad food there. Last time tho was my last. I ordered the Pad Thai, and it came like 1 min after ordering. So clearly not made fresh. It was warm at best. Didn’t taste fresh at all and left me feeling sick the rest of the day. It’s a gamble really.

Tried this for the first time. It bright clean and friendly service. Ordered a chicken rice dish and a beef noodle dish, there must be 75-100 dishes to chose from not counting all the teas and smoothies. I also enjoyed the complimentary tea which was very good. The dishes were served quickly and we're hot and tasty.

Pho, My Tho, rice and vermicelli dishes, noodles ... I have ordered them all. And, hands down, I can say this is the best restaurant in the city. The broth they use for the pho and other soups is seasoned well, not salty or greasy at all. The noodles and vermicelli dishes are of big portions. Lots of meat (or seafood) accompany the soups. The place is clean, with lots of natural light coming in. It can easily accommodate 60-70 people. Service is quick. But I must say the staff don’t talk much to the diners. But, hey, I go there to eat, not to socialize.

Stopped off here for some quick lunch on our way home from a camping trip and I was pleasantly surprised. The food was amazing and made to order. My wife had the BBQ short ribs and they are easily the best we've ever had. The portions are very generous! You will have left overs. Tried the chocolate milk tea as well also really good.

If you're afraid to try Vietnamese try 452B on the menu. You get crispy beef with noodles and a spring roll. The lady at the cash is incredibly friendly. The staff is quick to help. Very clean. Good prices. Tasty food.

I used to live in Toronto and I used to eat pho all the time when I moved to Brantford I thought I found a good place to eat pho, but it was not the case. This is the second time that I found a hair in my food, the first time was at the restaurant and I decided to not post a review because everybody deserves a second chance. This time I ordered pick up when the food arrived I opened the bag and as soon as I opened the container I saw that black long hair. I called the restaurant and the woman who answered said "what do you want me to do" to what I replied "what do you usually do" and her answer was "you can come to pick up other soup." Like for real??? What kind of answer is that!!! This is disgusting starting from the answer I got. I am NOT coming back and you shouldn't either because this is the Second time which means that it is not a mistake anymore.

This is my favourite restaurant in brantford. They're open later than most other brantford places, and are pretty cheap. Pho sizes are really generous, and so good. The staff are really friendly and chill, and it's a large restaurant, so it's always pretty calm. Only downside is the price for drinks (which are really good in their defense)

Went here today for dinner with my husband. We ordered, everything seemed to be going ok. Food was brought to our table, it was completely wrong. They gave me the noodles that should've been with my husband's meal, and gave him what I ordered. They only fixed his meat portion of his meal, and didn't do anything about mine, even though I tried to tell them they messed on mine as well. There was no discount for them messing up, either. I wanted something light and fresh, what I got was heavy and fried. I gave up trying to get them to fix it and ate half of it, and left still hungry. Still got charged full price, too. Even though they messed up royally. Probably not going to go back there, at least not for a while.

It was a cold day and a nice bowl of Pho would have gone over perfectly. Instead it came to my table essentially cold (luke warm at best). I asked for a salted lime soda (which I was craving at the time) the woman gave me a lemonade. I've had many a salted lime soda (usually at the good Vietnamese places in Hamilton) and have always had a perfect soda. When salted lime is what you're looking for lemonade won't cut it. The shrimp rolls with vermicelli noodles were lackluster and even My Thai has better than that. During the course of my meal the waitress just sat down at her table at the front of the restaurant and stared at me the whole time. While she was likely trying to give me all of her attention it was disconcerting. This was my third time there and I won't be going back. When I did complain it was ignored without so much as an apology. Never again.

My wife and i ate here for the 1st time tonight, we ordered a variety of dishes that were favourites of ours so we could get a feel for the restaurant. I've been in this restaurant a couple of times. Very clean. Service is VERY laid back. Food is good. The broth isn't as clear as pho should be. So, someone is taking a shortcut when the make it. Still, it's quite flavorful. The menu offers an extensive selection of soups and noodle dishes. I would recommend going here. Be advised ahead that they do not accept any credit cards. Cash and debit only. That's not really an issue. Just a heads-up in case you were considering paying with a credit card.

Visited this establishment due to good rating and reviews.Ordered well done beef/chicken noodle soup to go and was given rare beef mixed with the cooked chicken, noodles. Since the travel was far, by the time we came home we ended up throwing entire beef and chicken noodle mix since it was bad since the rare beef contaminated the cooked beef, chicken, noodles. Total waste of money and food,plus the drive to the establishment. They do not follow orders. If customer wants well done meat it should be fully cooked not rare. Its unsafe to mix the raw with cooked meat. There is a reason why customers order well done cooked food because raw meat if kept long especially in foam containers are not healthy. Improvement needed in following customer orders, food takeout containers, mixing raw and cooked food. Broth too salty. Rating should be 0/5 for take out food orders.

Our go-to restaurant in Brantford when we need a break from cooking. I've been to Pho 999 about 10 times now with my wife, and I'm ready to say it's consistently excellent. Under this new management, the food is always just right, and the service is impressive. It's a family business, and these people are working hard to make this place a success. I see that the parents are cooking in the back, while their adult daughter runs the whole front by herself. She's friendly, attentive, and smart: tonight I put my menu down after filling in my order, and she appeared literally 5 seconds later to pick it up. The food comes out quickly, and the recommendations are always spot-on. I tend so far to eat either the chicken and pork chop with rice or the noodles with chicken and salad. Both are as good as any Vietnamese place I've ever tried in Toronto. My wife prefers the pho (soup) and she's always happy when we come here. The prices are totally reasonable, and I find the meats here better cooked and prepared than at the other places. When it's late, or we're tired, we go here. It's our go-to. So far, I'm delighted to give these hard-working people my business and a good healthy tip.

But everytime that i go in and place an order, the lady in-charge of taking orders doesn't even greet you or welcome you, never even smile and looks like she hates working in there and made me feel not to go there anymore. This is hands-down some of the best pho I've had in a long time. I ordered delivery, it came well within a reasonable time, and the quantity and quality was ace! They give your meats/tendon/etc in a separate container to your broth, ensuring you definitely get your money's worth! I will absolutely order from them again! <3

We called for delivery and asked if they took credit over the phone or at the door. We were told that we could pay at the door. Delivery comes and the delivery person doesn’t have a machine and tells us to call the store, but gives us the food. Now at this point we could have just taken to food and called it a day. Instead we called and asked how we could pay. They told us we could come in the next day and pay for the order. Again, we didn’t have to do this. But we did. When we came into the store we were told we couldn’t pay debit because it was ‘yesterday’s order’, even though we brought the receipt into the store. We were told we had to use the ATM, which costs a service fee, in order to get cash for a delivery from the day before that we had to come across town to pay for. And frankly, we were being nice about it because it would have been very easy to just take the food and not pay. The only reason I am giving 2 stars is because the food was good. But we won’t be ordering from here again.

Lets do the math shall we..... 2x med pho $19.98, 1 app $4.99, 2 soda $3.98 +HST= $32.71. Cheque totalled 37 and change. Was the gratuity added to final price? Lunch for over $30 better be something special. Sadly this was not which I find odd. The sister restaurant in Niagara Falls is the gold standard for Viet cuisine in Southern Ontario. Guess one can't be the same as the other.

Really delicious Vietnamese cuisine! They have a big menu so there are lots of dishes to try, and from what I've had they are all great in quality! They have some really good drinks as well. They also provide free tea which is always comforting in a pho restaurant ☺️ Service is very nice and I feel welcomed whenever I dine-in. The pho broth is very delicious, definitely a must try! Overall I've enjoyed eating there everytime and I personally have yet to run into any problems. The food is a lot more enjoyable than fast food, so if you're looking for something fresh to eat, give this place a shot :)

This restaurant offers 100% authentic Vietnamese cuisine. The portion size is huge and food is of superb quality. The decor gives the restaurant a modernized and inviting feel to it. Service is quick with no fuss. It can be argued that their menu items are a tiny bit more expensive vs other authentic restaurants in Mississauga or TO, but the time + drive alone does not make up for the difference. Note Pho Vietnam 999 only accepts debit/cash.

Just stopped here 15 min before close. Ordered take out. Was ready in five mins and was fantastic!!! Raw beef soup was so tasty and the pork, shrimp plate was great as well. Also had the spring rolls very yummy. The staff was happy to serve us even though they were done for the day. Thank you for the friendly service and fantastic soup! We visited this restaurant yesterday July 31 2019 Food is great but unfortunately will not be returning after being a weekly customer. We used hoisin and siracha and the garlic chili fakes on the side of the table and put it into our soup... then to realize there were insects in our food...then to look over and there was ants all over the table and all in our food!!! We alerted the server who didn’t speak english and then left the restaurant without paying. Loved this place but unfortunately i’m just turned off and disgusted. Will be reporting to health unit for an inspection.

The broth they use for the pho and other soups is seasoned well, not salty or greasy at all. The noodles and vermicelli dishes are of big portions. Lots of meat (or seafood) accompany the soups. The place is clean, with lots of natural light coming in. It can easily accommodate 60-70 people. Service is quick. But I must say the staff don’t talk much to the diners. But, hey, I go there to eat, not to socialize.

Was honestly disappointed in this place. Its not that their food is bad, it's that it's very inconsistent. I ordered something off of their menu the first time I ate there. Was a very good meal. Since then I've ordered the same meal twice and has been different each time.

Really great food. Nice, bright atmosphere. Efficient, and dishes are swiftly served. Had the vermicelli with pork and spring roll. Veggies were fresh. Spring rolls are crisp. Also can recommend the vermicelli with chicken and lemongrass and spring roll. Everything was tasty. Great spot. Will be returning.

The food is OK for Brantford since there are not too many Vietnamese restaurant. But as far as being good Vietnamese food i would rate a 6 out of 10. The price are expensive for Vietnamese food compared to Hamilton, London, Toronto. For example 5.99 for smoothie, 2.50 for one egg roll. $10.99 for basic vermicelli noodle. The portion size could be more as one dish does not really fill you up. I won't go here if there was another half decent restaurant in town. Perhaps they should drop the price to be comparable to other Vietnamese place.

The food is authentic Vietnamese food and is very high quality. The staff are a delight (new management) and the atmosphere is very comforting. The hot noodle dishes hit just the right spot. Super tasty food, I would definitely recommend!

Good pho, decent prices and great service. They offer takeout as well. Was pretty quiet. Would definitely recommend a visit. My medium pho was huge. Was about the size of a large I've had at other restaurants.
