The food still tastes good but several menu items were removed in the last two weeks and prices increased drastically. Their mixed veg is up $1.50 alone. They don't even have a chicken rice dish now. Even spring rolls increased in price - by the time two people eat a meal and app, this adds $10 to the final cost, so now there are far more attractive options available for similar food in the northern end of Brantford.

My friend and I went to My-Thai and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The curry had just the right amount of heat and the ginger chicken had that wonderful zing that I've come to expect. The server was pleasant and attentive, but at no time did we feel rushed. Thank you, My-Thai, for another excellent meal.

My friend and I come here on a regular basis. This time when we got our bill we noticed on both our receipts there was a “service fee” added. When I asked our waiter about it, he explained that he didn’t work at the restaurant (even though he served us) and got another waitress to explain the reason why. Now this particular woman had been our waitress once before, that time she gave bad service and we ended up not tipping her because of it. I normally do always tip when service is at least reasonable. She straight faced told us that she added the service fee because we never tip! Excuse me?! We were up hauled by her comments. I explained to her you can’t just do this and told her to remove the fee off our bills. Unbelievable!!!

We chose My-Thai because we wanted an authentic, fresh and tasty eating experience. We where not disappointed. It is located in a small commercial building with ample parking. Upon entering, we were met by our server and she explained that although the air conditioning was on it was struggling to keep up to the extreme heat we were currently experiencing. It was not really a factor but nice of her to warn us. The menu provided a variety of choices both vegan and meat. I had the chicken panang with peanuts, green beans served over sticky rice. The variety of flavours and textures made this a good choice. The choice of a red curry was maybe not the best on a hot, humid day. The decor was adequate. Price was comparable to other restaurants of this type. I would recommend and will return to My-Thai to enjoy their great food and Thai cuisine.

I’m a big fan of this resturant. This is my go to place for some good tasting food. The food is always fresh and tastes great. I find the staff to be very polite and helpful making the whole experience fun. I have had many items of the menu and would recommend each of them. Last week went with a group and many of them were out of town and they really enjoyed it. Lots of parking and food comes out fresh and fast, making a great place to go for lunch.

Called ahead and ordered the sweet soy noodles with chicken. Soon as I opened the bag I got this wiff of burnt something. Nothing looked to be wrong. I did not really enjoy my meal. The noodles and veggies were pretty oily and every time I took a bite I smelled burnt food. The portion was also very tiny for the $15 I paid for the dish. I most likely wont be returning.

Go here. Do it now. You’re not going to find better Thai food anywhere. Order the spring rolls. Better yet, get two orders. Green curry with beef? Unbeatable. Cashew chicken is fantastic as well. LOVE the coconut shrimp appetizer. Was not a fan of the calamari but I suspect I wouldn’t like it where ever I tried it. I’d eat here every day if I lived in Brantford

Have been coming here for years and not one disappointing meal! The satay is amazing, the spring roles are great and the coconut shrimp is crazy good! The main dishes are very fresh and tasty! If you love Thai food I would highly recommend this restaurant. The mango chicken and spicy noodle are my favourite dishes but I’ve had many others and they’re all good! This is a must try! The staff are also great and friendly!

Love this place. I have now been here three times. First time we had app player for 2, emerald curry and pad Thai. Emerald curry has so much flavour. Pad Thai was great but needed a little more flavour. App platter was so tasty. Great price and nice variety of apps. Staff was so friendly and the service was super fast. Food is very fresh. Second visit we had app platter, emerald curry and panang curry. The curries have so much flavour. Food is so fresh. Service was slower this visit which was unfortunate and they were out of red wine.First visit they were out of deep fried ice cream which was disappointing. Third visit was takeout. Food was ready quickly. Ordered beef salad and panang curry. Also ordered 2 orders of spring rolls and was disappointed when I got home and we only had one. Food is well priced for the portions and is authentic tasting. Will continue to come here as we have left almost completely satisfied every time.

BIG PORTIONS, AMAZING TASTE, ECO-FRIENDLY PACKAGING! I ordered My Thai through UberEats the other week and it was amazing! I got the Emerald Curry w/ tofu and Jasmine Rice, it was soo much food :)) They give you lots of curry sauce and TONS of vegetables. It’s also not too spicy, and they used all eco-friendly packaging which I really appreciate☺️ And you’ll definitely have leftovers for the next day. Might I add, it’s also woman-owned!! Been eating here for about the last decade with my family, and I’ve always loved their food. Never had any issues, even when dining in. Highly recommend if you’re looking for great Thai food and a friendly restaurant experience.

The food was good but it's really expensive in my opinion. 2 small noodle dishes and a side of spring rolls was 50+ dollars on skip. I won't order again because of the price. Had they priced the meals reasonably especially considering the portion size I would have been a repeat customer. It's just way too much money when I can feed a family of 4 on skip from pretty much anywhere else for 50-70$ and have left overs for lunch the next day. Here 50$ barley gets you dinner for 2 and forget about having leftovers.

My friend and I have been going to this restaurant for a couple of years now. Always liked the food and service, but both have declined in recent months . One Vietnamese waitress that looks to be in her 40s and is there often, turned us off completely yesterday by adding a service charge to each of our bills. When we enquired as to the reason she said it was because we don't tip! We always tip but did not tip the visit before because she gave us terrible service. When we told her this, she said "no, you didn't tip last 2 times". My friend then asked her if she records the names of those who don't tip and she said "no, I just remember faces". We were incensed to say the least! We demanded that she take the service charges off of our bill and she reluctantly did. Since when can you extort money from people at a restaurant?! This isn't Vietnam, it's Canada! I will never go there again and will tell my friends. That woman needs to be reminded who the boss really is, the CUSTOMERS! Patrons watch your bills! Your review up next Ileen.

Overall a very good experience. Honestly I was expecting more like a fast food place like many othe thai places but this actually was like a resaurant with a fast food pricing, which is a big gig. The service was very good, the only thing that there was no one at the reception to help me to get seated, probably a little understaffed. The dish (as usual I get chicken pad thai - not spicy) was very well portioned and tasted good, it just wasn’t hot enough to look very fresh, even though I know it was cause it tasted so (probably delayed in bringing to customer by server). Overall the experience wasn’t bad, but I would highly advice management to talk to staff members to take care of everyone equally, cause I felt like I’m first time in town, nobody knows me and they’re not interested in providing the best service they can. I will come back here once in town cause I love thai food and this one was close to perfect.

Unfortunately we were not impressed with our meal. We ordered the appetizer for two, it was decent but the battered pieces were cold. We then ordered the orange cashew chicken with coconut rice. The portion size was good but there was very little chicken to be found and the orange pieces took over the plate. The rice had to be sent back because it was hard and crunchy. Our waitress was friendly enough but didn't come to check on us until after our meal was finished. Sorry to say but this was our second visit and our last.

Generally get take out from My Thai however had the chance to sit down for dinner at the end of October. Our waiter was very nice and accommodating. I had asked for the pho soup in a dinner size instead of the lunch size, and they had accommodated the request for me. The food was hot and fresh.

Thank you so much MY THAI for the yummiest feast of Thai food on this side of the ocean!!! You fed our twenty plus hard working volunteers the most scrumptious, array of perfectly spiced Thai dishes! Everything from coconut shrimp to Penang Curry to Pad Thai to Chicken Fried Rice, plus, plus, plus…. and it was ALL sooooo good and the beat part was that there were leftovers, even after everyone piled their plates high!!! You were so generous!!! I meant to take a picture but when the food arrived it smelled sooooo heavenly and was piping hot, that taking pics was the farthest thing from our minds!!! We all just dove in!!! But it was beautifully presented and like I said devoured in a heartbeat!!! You are definitely “MY” THAI restaurant!!!! I spent nearly 20 years in Asia and you brought me “home” ❤️ Thank you SO much!!!!

I've had way better Thai food before. The fried rice seemed like it was from days ago. The most recommended curry (Emerald curry wasn't full in taste and seemed like it was watered down), the fresh spring roll came loose after just picking up the piece, the coconut shrimp was over fried, .. I was very surprised that the rating was so high. The most disturbing thing in this restaurant is the music they were playing (don't know if it is radio or cd) but it was a lot of swearing, my kids were both 9 yrs so I really didn't appreciate it. The thing that made me smile was our server (young girl) she was polite, and very innocent. The bill came to $55.83 I gave her 3 twenties and 1 ten , she returned the folder with my 1 ten and $4.17 change. Will not be going back.

So disheartened from this place! Ordered spicy noodles with no chicken for pickup. Was in a hurry so didn’t have the chance to look at my order, came home and guess what was on it chicken! Called them went to voicemail cause they close at 8 so thought maybe they’ll call me back in the morning… they didn’t. Called them back at 1 pm the next day and they were “understanding” but when asked to get it delivered for free they were making up excuses. Finally got it delivered and opened it up, 1. There was tofu, never asked for it but whatever 2. The quantity was so low especially since I go there often and they pack it up all the way with tons of vegetables and mine had maybe 5 pieces of broccoli/green beans and half the box of noodles. I was trying to be understanding the whole time on the phone due to working in customer service myself but if this is their way of treating their customers when they have a communication error on their side then it’s safe to say I’m not too eager to go back there anytime soon.

The first time I came to this restaurant and ate I was blown away!!!! The food is absolutely delicious!!!. I prefer the green curry with sticky rice and also the appetizer platter that comes with spring rolls, peanut satay and a couple other items. The only disappointment I've had is every time I've dined in, I asked for the deep fried ice cream for desert and they never seem to have it. Overall I highly recommend eating here if you want to try something different but I do find that they are quite pricey so I only come here once in a blue moon or on a special occassion.

I was definitely not disappointed, was treated very politely, didn't take long at all, and my pad Thai was incredible! I consider myself a fairly tough critic, so I was very happy with the service.

I've never left here hungry or disappointed. Fantastic emerald curry, especially with the coconut sticky rice! Mango salad is always a must as are some spring rolls, either kind are delicious. I tried their white sangria on my last visit and it was wonderful, I definitely recommend it.

My wife and I wanted to have Thia food so we drove across town 20 minutes. We arrived at 7:03pm and were told we could not be seated as they close at 8pm and stop seating people at 7pm. What a let down, not impressed.

Disappointed... Ordered Delivery on a Saturday night - 2 dishes VERY expensive (50.00$ for two dishes) and EXTREMELY small portions... We ended up having to still make dinner after because the portions were THAT small... felt so ripped off. Food itself was not bad, not amazing, but not awful. Nothing special. Fast delivery (approx 25 minutes from time we placed order) Will not be ordering again and do not recommend.

Love this restaurant :). The food is so good and I love the way it's served. My husband and I always order two or three different dishes and then split everything between us. The four flamed fish is always a must for us, there is really nothing on the menu that we don't like. The staff is fantastic and very accommodating. It's a great spot for date night, family dinners, dinner with friends, or celebrations and it's very reasonable price wise.

Absolutely love this place, the food is fresh, fast and amazing. The food is authentic and altered to fit a more Canadian flavour. They have a promising menu and the staff are very helpful, welcoming and sweet. It's one of my favourite restaurants and I recommend to everyone. To the reviews below... $60 for 3 people is not expensive? That's $20 a person which is almost how much you pay for a mcdoanlds drive thru meal. The prices aren't cheap, but they are reasonable for the portion sizes and quality of the food. The spring rolls are to die for as well as all the other food item. Definitely give this place a try! It's wonderful

We have been coming here for the past 10 years and never had a bad experience until tonight. Our food smelled horrible and tasted even worse! We couldn't even get one bite down so I called ahead, in hopes of avoiding a scene, to let them know I would be returning it. The owner came out and informed me that if this was Dominoes they wouldn't give my money back, etc. etc. It was completely bizarre. She was yelling at me and making no sense. In the end, I did get my money back but we will NEVER be eating here again! The customer service was absolutely horrible! Overall, a terrible experience! The owner was yelling even as I left. I could not get out of there fast enough!

Too many things wrong and one misunderstanding. First the dishes don't come with rice. That's news to me as I've never had that happen in an Asian restaurant. At least they should ask if you want rice. Spring rolls were great. Pad thai was dry. We had asked for extra sauce but they forgot, probably would have solved the problem. Other dish was chicken pineapple curry. I think they added the extra sauce to this because it was like soup. The curry sauce was delicious, but there was no pineapple in it and very little chicken. I called and they are giving us a credit. So I'll update this next time I order.

Decent food but you don't get much for how much it costs, either the quality or quantity needs to improve. Also the spring rolls were soggy tasted like they were oven baked not fried, and a little under cooked at that. A good meal if it didn't cost $60 for 3 people.

Spacious and bright decor for an unhurried meal. Prompt and friendly service. The menu is traditional Thai with all the expected curries. We (4) each chose from the set dishes of the lunch menu, a good value and recommended. Food was quite good but not the highest tier of Thai you may have ordered elsewhere. Nevertheless, you will not be disappointed and leave with a pleasant taste.

First time trying this place(brantford location). My girlfriend and I just bought a house around the corner. It is the closest place to our house and we are delighted that it is so good. Made a custom order today and the staff were accommodating of the request. And it was delicious! We both had pad Thai and would highly recommend . Thanks for the great food guys see you again soon!

BRANTFORD ... We have been going there for years and have never had such bad service and have never had issue but If I could give it negative stars I would!!! We took our mom there who is gluten free and vegan for over 30 years. And had some of the worst table service I have ever had at a restaurant. The waitress tryed to tell me that they could not make a gluten free, vegan pad thai when it says it can be and this the dish that Mom regularly orders at this location this way. Then the waitress told me how I should tip her after arguing with me about our meal. We will never go back to this location because of this waitress and the deployable service!

Just picked up an order not long ago, first time ordering here to try and stay local but make a change from our usual haunts. Sadly I was given tofu in my green curry instead of chicken as was ordered, quite disappointing as that makes a huge difference in the overall meal.

Ordered the Pad Thai with Shrimp and it tasted quite bland. Couldn't even finish the dish, and had to take it home only to throw it away in the trash. My friends all ordered different items and they all tasted awful! The service was nice, the waitress was friendly but the food in this place needs an overhaul.

Servers are fast, cute, and friendly. I ordered Seafood basil and have never been more impressed with this dish. Mussels, calamari, shrimp, fish, scallops, crab, oh my!!!! Absolutely delicious and we'll priced. I'll be back hands down.

I'm a celiac and we order from here regularly because they have gluten-free options. Tonight, I unfortunately got misinformation and my meal contained gluten. Thankfully I noticed it before I ate any, called to inform them and I got a replacement meal delivered ASAP. Great Customer Service. Great Food.

Have been coming here for years and not one disappointing meal! The satay is amazing, the spring roles are great and the coconut shrimp is crazy good! The main dishes are very fresh and tasty! If you love Thai food I would highly recommend this restaurant. The mango chicken and spicy noodle are my favourite dishes but I’ve had many others and they’re all good! This is a must try! The staff are also great and friendly!

I go here at least once a month for either take out or sit down (it's connected to my laundromat so it's a very convenient place for me) The food is always good and always hot. The staff are pleasant and willing to answer any questions about the food. Not usually busy.

Our pad Thai tasted like it had been sitting around all day. It was very very dry. Also the fresh spring rolls are such a rip off! It was all lettuce inside and should have been advertised as two rolls, since that is all they give you. For $45, there should have been a lot more food.
