Ok this food looked so delicious I ate most of it before I took a picture. What you see is 1/2 of a Pastrami sandwich and a 1/2 order of mac and cheese. You have to buy full orders sorry it was just so good. Possibly the best sandwiches on the planet. Thank you so much Good Friends Sandwich Company for great food, and awesome service. Keep it up.

Had a great experience. Super nice staff. Cute little place with a homie feel. Food was really good and well priced. Got pulled pork sandwich and the girlfriend got chicken club. Both were perfect serving sizes for us (might be small for big appetite people). Will definitely be coming again.

Lunch today came from this wonderful place. The owner is one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. And she runs her business with integrity. Today there was mixup with our order which we didn’t notice until we arrived home. She fixed the problem without hesitation and at no extra charge whatsoever. I made the mistake, you see, of calling this place a Deli. All I was after, was a quick sandwich to sate my mid-afternoon hunger. What I was treated to, however, was a slow roasted masterpiece that was so good it made me homesick. The inviting atmosphere, punctuated with the docile folk music playing in the back set the scene for a traditional eatery you always hear old Italian men talking about "back in the old country". I took my meal to go, but a cozy dine in eating room apart from the kitchen would be my ideal way to spend an hour chewing the fat with a good friend. I could not recommend this place enough. Treat your tummy, and your wallet.

I order from here frequently for work. We use them to buy food for meetings or trainings we are having. They have a very seamless process just fax in your order the day before and they call to verify. They take your payment and deliver your food at the promised time. We have been ordering from them a few years now and have never had an issue.

With so many other choices on Skip the Dishes, don’t choose this place! They forget parts of your order and don’t replace them or give your money back or credits. Very unprofessional. Their food is mediocre at best.

Terrible, wouldnt recommend anything from here. I ordered the maple bacon & Swiss sandwich and got 3 pieces of bacon with a slice of Swiss and maple syrup on the side... Sandwich was just bread not enough bacon for the price I paid for. The mac & cheese very low bar, not really cheesey and just tossed with crumble on top not even baked.

Bread was fresh. Chicken was dry. Prices were a bit high for what you get. Disappointing lunch. Better off going to Brant Food Centre if your looking for a good sandwich. Good customer services and friendly aside from giving me a crusty dollar from their tip jar as my change.

I saw them on Skip the Dishes today, and decided to try a little bit of everything. I got the mac and cheese with bacon, homemade chicken noodle soup, and an oven roasted chicken sandwich. It was all so good! I think the portions were very fairly sized for the price. This was comfort food that I am willing to order again. I will definitely be recommending this take out service to others. FYI, while it was all good, the chicken noodle soup was my favorite and is probably going to be my most ordered item here.

Is this place still in business? Sign outside says for ‘for sale’ and the website says it closes at 5pm but when I called, no one picked up. Might be a good idea to update the website if you guys are out of business, just saying.

I went to this sandwich shop today and ordered a curried chickpea salad with hummus. They gave me a sandwich with just hummus, and a slice of lettuce. It was on white bread and cost $8.00. The server said that they did not have any chickpeas which was fine, but they did not give me a price reduction. The sandwich I got was worth $4.00 maximum. Ambiance was nice. Service was polite and good. I won't be back again - the food was below expectation.

I would give this no stars if I could. First, they gave away my order one day and ensure me I could come in the next day to get my order. Second, the food was terrible. The taco salad I ordered had very little flavor and the beef was way over cooked. I really don't understand how anyone gave this place a good review. I through my order in the garbage.

The owner was very welcoming, nice and helpful. We decided to order 4 different things and kind of try it all and I must say that they all were very tasty! Our most favourite sandwich, surprisingly, turned out to be the chickpea curry. We didn't expect it to taste so refreshingly delicious, but it definitely exceeded our expectations. All other orders were great as well, and everything tasted fresh. The place itself is very cute and cozy. I'd be back to try more stuff off their menu and to also try the chickpea curry again!

As for me, I like my steak. Neither too chewy nor too raw. I loved the heavy grilled taste as well. The only deficiency was that I asked for medium rare, but the steak was medium. However, the taste was good though, so I don't really mind in this case. the Ribeye, and Mashed Potatoes. Perfectly done, Steak was one of the best I've had and the side was a perfect compliment! Thanks Kelsey our Bartender/Server for a great experience

You can go grab a burger, or an order of fries, a sub or a slice of pizza, or you can stop by Good Friends Sandwich Co and have them make you a fresh and tasty sandwich to go with a nice hot bowl of soup. Well my nickel is going to the Good Friends Sandwich Co, a small deli style eatery, with a small menu and a big taste. Lunch is never a good thing to have to decide on, but if you want help in a delicious way then you'll probably need to stop by this new hidden gem on West St.

I read the reviews, and saw the pictures and decided to give this place a try. The service was okay. But the sandwich that I ordered was not. I ordered a turkey sandwich with mayo, cranberry sauce and mashed peas. I was given two pieces of white bread with typical store bought deli turkey meat with just mayo. The server forgot to add the cranberry sauce and mashed peas. I returned the sandwich and ask the server to add the missing ingredients which she did. Only this time she forgot to add the mashed peas. I paid 10.00 for the sandwich and it was not worth it. I should have gone to Tim Horton's instead.
