The food is usually really good, and the servers are really nice. The only problems they have are under staffing so it takes a while to be served. If you have time to wait though, than it's quite good. The menu is the same as everywhere else so there's something for everyone!

I had one dine in experience and two take out orders. The sandwich I ordered for the dine in was rather bland. I wasn't inspired to return. The first take out order was as a result of seeing that Original Joe's had fish tacos and I love fish tacos. The first order of fish tacos was excellent. Some of the best I've ever had. So tonight I ordered more for take out. They were horrible. The flour tortillas were over grilled and the lettuce mixture in the bottom of the taco was too wet and soaked right through the tortilla. The fish looked like it was shredded and came out of a can. Based on the first taco order I'd recommend them to anyone but with the poor quality of the second order I won't.

One of my favourite restaurants in Chilliwack. The general manager, Angela, is great, friendly and has always provided fantastic customer service. I’ve always had a good experience here, portion sizes are good, and a big menu selection. Highly recommend.

Prices have increased to a point where I don't think we would visit again, as if I was going to spend $20+ for a burger, I can think of several other places I would rather eat for that spend. Huge majority of the food is cooked from frozen, & over priced. Fries, normally left at room temperature until slime builds up, & still cooked and served. Little to no Food Safe is practiced at this location.

3 of us went in for dinner on the 27th of September. Nice atmosphere. The lettuce wraps were great. Ordered a Grolsch which was skunky, asked the server to ask the bartender what she thought. Her comment was that it was a European beer and they smell like that. Not true. We ordered Nachos which took a long time they came out over cooked and tasted burnt. It looked like the kitchen burnt them and dumped the salvageable ingredients onto the tray its the first time I have had nachos where the cheese was at the bottom.

What can I say other than every trip into OJ's in Chilliwack is a terrific experience, both in food and service. Trevor is the consummate host, ensuring comfort, top notch service, an environment that is not only entertaining but also well kept (no chicken bones on the floor like most of the competition!). The Dill Pickle wings are a MUST try and the half off bottles of wine on Thursday is the best deal in town. The fact that I can have my son (12 years old) join me at the bar is a complete plus, and it doesn't hurt that he LOVES the Original Joes Burger. All in all, 10 out 10 is my score and the chance of "us" returning to Original Joes in Chilliwack is one that I would not want to bet against !! Thank you to all the staff at OJ's, and thank you Trevor for continuing to offer a "no-brainer" go-to stop for dinner, or maybe an afternoon snack. Sincerely.

Ordered take out, kinda bad tbh. Bacon and as burned on both our burgers, and they burgers where kinda greasy. No forks knives or napkins in the bag. Honestly would have been better off going to A&W. 75$ poorly spent. Was responded to and customer service was responsive. The review will remain however I must note they tried to fix the issue to the best of their abilities.

AMAAAAAAAZING FOOD!! I absolutely LOVE Original Joes... I have only been there one time that I was not at least 8/10 happy with my experience, and it was a fluke situation where it was a long weekend, and one in which restaurants don't necessarily benefit, (May long weekend/first camping weekend maybe?) anyhow they didn't expect excessive business, and had on some newer service staff, and chef...so not only did they not know anything about the regulars most staff did, (including the fact we were great tippers if service deserved it) they didn't know the menu, drinks or substitutions available. Nor, apparently did the chef know how to cook it... That being said, it was Not a great experience of course...However, that was the ONLY time I left there unhappy with what I had. Everything is always top notch, drinks are unique there is a decent variety, & reasonably priced. Some of our absolute favorites: Bruschetta, Lettuce Wraps, Dry Ribs, Pan Seared Brussels Sprouts with Bacon, French Onion Soup, 8oz Ny Strip with Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Ceaser Salad & Cajun Prawns. Washed down with a perfect Joe Size Ceaser, or a pitcher of Sangria, (because 1 glass is nowhere near enough of this winner!!!) MMmmmm!!! I'm starving & drooling now!! LoL! So YES! A giant and definite ???????? 2 THUMBS WAY UP!! ???????? My Number 1 ☝ choice, and go to for a delicious and satisfying evening out!

Last experience through the skip-the-dishes app was horrible. We were quoted 37 minutes through the app. The Skip driver was at restaurant to pick up food 17 minutes after order was placed. Driver sat there for 30 minutes waiting for Original Joe’s to finish order(by then almost 50 minutes since order). We called restaurant itself, they said they were going to start making the order within the next ten minutes. After almost an hour and a half after initial order, we called the restaurant, they advised that they still hadn’t even begun to make the order. So, needless to say we had to call Skip-The-Dishes and cancel, and get a refund. The problem wasn’t Skip-The-Dishes… it was Original Joe’s. Probably not going to order from them anymore. ????????????????

My husband and I went in on Sunday afternoon. Unfortunately, left without receiving service! Thumbs down to the service big time! The first waitress yelled from the bar to sit anywhere. So we sit on the right side of the restaurant. 1 other table of people in that section and they were wrapping it up. The waitress walks by us 4 times, with out acknowledging us whatsoever! Her other table was right beside ours, so very easy to look over 20 degrees and say hi to us. Seems simple, right?! Apparently not for this chick! I stopped her on her fourth trip by us and ask her if we are going to get acknowledged. She then argues that she was taking their payment. Ok, well I stopped her when she was done and heading back to the bar, THE 4TH TIME WALKING BY US WITHOUT A SIMPLE HI. Atleast say hi and acknowledge we are there! Ask us if we want a drink or something! Multi tasking is a good thing if you're a waitress. She was rude and put out that I wanted a simple Hello from our server. It wasnt even busy. We won't be going back. 2 stars because I love the food. Service is disgusting.

Nice place, good food...happy hour pricing was pretty good. Great place for a date night or to get out with your buddies but I wouldn't take the kids, it's more of a bar atmosphere. Gets very loud (For kids, I didn't mind it) and it's set up more pub style than restaurant...but then again I think they made an exception in Brandon allowing kids...from what I understand its an 18 or over restaurant anyway.

This is my go to place when I want amazing service, quick well made and perfectly seasoned food, along with fabulous service speed and incredible staff. I would like to give the staff and Richard a massive shout out for putting in so much effort and incredible professionalism, these folks are keeping the pace even tho they are short staffed.

It was okay, but nothing special, the portions were good, unfortunately the food other than the pulled pork was lacking flavour. The pulled pork is the only reason I gave it 3 stars, otherwise it would be a solid 2 star.

Just went with my husband and mom to try and get a table on patio - Hostess said all tables were full and that it was just a matter of waiting for the tables to pay and leave. Said the wait would be about 15 to 20 mins and asked us to wait outside. We waited about 10 mins and a couple walked in as we were waiting, they were given the table we were waiting for. The hostess said, we would be given next table and we were first in line. Absolutely pathetic. If I could give restaurant 0 stars I would. It’s like 36 degrees outside and we were simply just doing as told, and our table was given away. Fix your customer service and don’t tell ppl to wait in 36 degree weather when you’re just gonna give the table to the next ppl who walk thru door.

We really enjoy eating here. It's never too busy, the food is good, the drinks are good. Staff are friendly and attentive. I like the Mediterranean Pita Wrap. Since you get TWO sides with it (!), I usually end up saving one half of the wrap for the next day.

Came in for a quick bite and left fully satisfied. Let me set the mood. The boyfriend and I had spent the full weekend cleaning out his basement suite after Chilliwack's rainstorm. We were tired, annoyed, and just over life at that point. We wanted to go out and have a nice dinner to get out of the house and get our minds off the flooded basement. We walked in and were greeted with a smile. We chose a booth near the window and were told it was Mexican night. We both abandoned our thoughts of getting beef dips and went straight for the build your own nachos. The service was prompt and done perfectly. Our waitresses wasnt too in our faces, or too vacant. The food was delicious and the piece was so reasonable.

Ordered through Skip the Dishes. Worst calamari I've ever had. Way over cooked/fried like it went through the fryer a second time. Couldn't even eat it. Fish tacos (which I've had there before and they were great then) were nowhere near the quality of previous visits. The fish was overcooked and not at all flaky. Very disappointed in my meal. **Unless Skip the Dishes cooked the food, not sure what they can do. I've eaten there before and always had good food and service. I will order/go back as I'm sure this was a one off but this time was not great.

If I could give negative 5 stars I would. DO NOT order the butter chicken. It's really gross. Thier excuse is they don't have time to cook it all day. My fiancee and I go out to eat in restaurants very rarely. I wanted to treat her to a nice meal. She loves butter chicken . She ordered it and it was horrible. I just wanted to pay my bill and never return. They asked how was your meal? I said mine was ok. ( chicken ceaser salad. ) sub par at best. I told them my fiancee meal was gross and she only ate like 1/3 to a half. They said well we don't have time to cook it all day so it's not "authentic " the manager was quite rude. She could care less whether or not we ever came back... horrible food horrible experience. The worst meal ever. Thanks for nothing. Bad manager bad food . Bad experience. Don't waste your money.

I came here last night with my buddy to have a late dinner. We arrived around 930 and were greeted by a very nice lady. We sanitized our hands and took a seat on the patio. We were one of about 3 other people in the restaurant. The waitress was very kind, very polite and informative Our food and drinks were great. The food was super hot!!! I had the beef dip, and it was just absolutely delicious. Thank you to the staff for the safe dining experience and for answering our questions about our masks. (we don't really leave Shilo much, so dining at a restaurant in Brandon was a new thing since covid hit) and thank you for being so friendly.

Worst service ever. Ordered our appies they came. Then our dinner came no silverware we tried to get the servers attention with no luck. My boyfriend had to go and get our silverware. Ask for another beer for my boyfriend and a glass of water for myself. My boyfriend gor his beer but no water. It took me asking several times and a 10 minute wait for a glass of water. Not once did our server ask how our meal was. Will never return to this location.

Had their steak sandwich...special of the night..I think it was 11.95. After sending it back twice because it wasn't cooked right..and it only came with fries...no salad...I ended up not even eating it. Love Jolly Miller's steak night..way better!!

Horrible. I would not give them any star if I could. I ordered a breakfast there and they gave me a piece of bacon that was 2 inches long...not even kidding. Then when I asked the server about it, she said you get what you pay for! Will never go back.

I went to original Joe's last week with my family and just to get a Kona burger two kids meals and a salad . This was the worst dine in ever it take nearly 90 minutes to get our food out to us . Are order was messed up they didn't give us the sides we ordered instead I got cold undercooked fries my kids meals were completely wrong and my wife's order was forgotten about . They have no excuse for this they were not under staffed by any means and they were not busy . My burger tasted like somone who is a bad cook made it my burger was slopped together . I don't know how one could think it's ok to serve it was so bad I couldn't even finish it . If you want to go some where nice and not feel ripped off I suggest you stay away from this establishment .

Horrible service!!! Waited forever and food wasn’t ready. Got up to leave and magically our food is ready. My husband was nice enough to say thank you and pay for food that we had to take to go, after waiting for an hour. People who came in after us (and ordered after) had already ate the appetizers and on the main. We ordered a salad and an appy. Wow. Don’t waste your time unless you have lots of it.

Went this morning right at opening for lunch. We told the waitress we needed another minute with the menu. So after serving the whole entire restaurant and us asking if we can order she finally comes back to take our orders. We then waited an hour and a half just to get our food, meanwhile trying to keep three toddlers occupied in the process. Every single person who was there after us, got served their food first. At one point (an hour and 15 mins in) we asked the waitress if our food was coming and she was not apologetic, not friendly and didn’t even check on us once to fill waters during the whole wait. Absolutely terrible service from start to finish. Don’t go unless you have a lot of time on your hands to wait around for an overpriced burger!

Great staff with some great menu choices. The staff are super friendly and work really hard to make sure you enjoy your visit and that you are ok. I took my wife there to eat and near the end I became overwhelmed because I suffer from anxiety, it wasnt anything to do with the restaurant or the environment it had to do with my own personal issues. So we got our food packed up and I went outside to breath and calm down and my wife paid our bill. My wife came out and told me that our server went out of her way to come over well she was paying and asked if I was ok, she wasnt checking about the food or the restaurant itself, she genuinely cared about my personal well being. So I feel the need to mention it. This is more than a place to eat drink and be merry. It's a home that has alot of family members.

I ordered Halibut and chips and got two pieces of Halibut that were no bigger than some of the oysters I have eaten. Around one of the chips was wrapped a long blonde hair. None of our party was blonde. I was brought another halibut and chips, little fish nuggets which were overcooked and the chips were mostly peel. I was so hungry that I ate it anyway. They charged me the full freight. They didn't comp anything despite the fact that I had to wait 30 minutes and then another 20 to replace the order.
