*Disclaimer: Videos WERE permitted at this store. I stopped the video where I did for privacy reasons. Review time: This restaurant is so beautiful and quite obviously well maintained. We stopped here for dinner and genuinely appreciated the service we received. The bathrooms had TV's attached to the mirror-for a small city, that's a fancy styled bathroom. I ordered the Dragon bowl but was not impressed with the food. Its flavours and texture weren't to my suiting. If I visit again, I will order something else. The waitress who served us was very nice and gushed about the Dragon Bowl, but I guess it just wasn't for me. Overall, a restaurant I would recommend.

What a delightful Resturant. I had fun on my girls night out here. Food is affordable, moody atmosphere (which I love) and great customer service. Oh they also have a very clean bathroom. For dinner I ordered the 'Smoked House Burger' with a side of yam fries for about $18.75 or there about and for dessert I got the 'Oreo covered Cheesecake'(not too sure of the name and price). Overall rating for the dinner is 9/10 and dessert is 5/10 because there was a lot of cheesecake which I didn’t quite finish and the sweetness wasn’t doing it for me. But Definitely recommend going there ????

Party of 6. Food was really good! [All except the pizza. Which had crust so thin it was basically see-through, and toppings so sparse... I feel like four $5 hot-n-ready from Little Caesars would be better way to spend $20] The bigger problem was the service. Or lack thereof. After the initial order-taking the waitress never came back to refill drinks. And we waited 30 minutes once the meal was finished in order to pay and leave. We even tried to flag down a different waitress and were completely ignored.

Professional atmosphere. Relaxing place to sit and eat while taking. In the city of Brandon I would recommend it for a place to go with your friends. Food is good but comes in small portions so when your ordering you may need to order more than you think though.

Went here with a small group of people. They checked for vaccination card, but did not double check it to people's IDs. If the place had been busier I would have left because of that, but it was quiet enough and I knew the people I was with were vaccinated. I had the Szechuan beef bowl, which was yummy but I did not find it spicy even at its spiciest level. For appetizer I had the hot wings, which were tasty. The server was very nice and attentive. 3 stars is because they didn't checked ID, but everything else is 5 stars.

Incredibly friendly staff, and good food. Consistent across other Brown's I've been to. Restaurant was clean and organized, which shows good management too. Good happy hour specials -- i had the smokehouse burger, 3 beers and brownie for dessert for ~$45, which, all things considered, i was happy with. I would certainly eat here again when I'm back in town!

Well first off the building is very nice both inside and out has a very nice atmosphere although a bit loud but that's no big deal. The entire was delicious and so was the dessert, The coke I ordered was quite watered down and lacked carbonation but it didn't really matter. What did matter was the terrible waitress she took forever a different waitress had to clear our table while she was busy talking to the same table for over 5 minutes. Overall it was an alright experience would recommend going when it's not busy

Okay let's start with I don't give five stars very often. In Brandon for the Briar and we'd decided to go in to check out Browns last night. We were seated almost immediately with menus and the waitress was right there to take drink orders. The drinks came very quickly and I have to say the best rum and coke I've had in a long time, including ones in Cuba. We just ordered entrees without appies and our meals arrived promptly. My steak was a perfect rare, nicely seasoned and probably the best cut I've had in a long time, better than the "national chain" I was at last week in Winnipeg. My partner had a beef noodle dish that was the perfect level of spicy.( I had a sample). The bill was very reasonable as well. One if the best long term memories is taste along with smell. The first time I fell in love with Key Lime Pie was on Key West back in 1963. Browns' house made Key Lime Pie is that good ! Really. There is a very interesting variety of mixed drinks and a very enjoyable afternoon could be spent just sampling that fare. We were going to try a German restaurant tonight but have decided on a return visit to Browns. I need more Key Lime Pie

It was a very disappointing experience. The server not the kitchen but server was very slow and not interested at all. Not talk no smile and even forgot orders. Not a great menu selection either especially if you can't eat or don't like coconut or almonds. When questioned about a menu item it seemed like too much trouble to find out if it could be made in a safe manor. On a side not it was not busy so could not understand the slow service. Shabby service I would say probably from that server would be any time and if issues at home or with other staff DO NOT bring them to the table you are serving. Totally disappointing. Would not post without a star but one star is too high a rating.

Also read the items you may want to pay extra to add ingredients. Sangria comes in a small pitcher as well. Have been here several time lunch, apps and supper. While the food and service were really good we found the menu and its choices felt a little uninspired. Inside the decor is loosely based on urban chic and is tastefully done if not a little disjointed. Overall a good experience. Seems like it'd be a great place for modern professionals to eat, drink and relax.

The best way to describe Browns food is, "ehh". We really wanted to like it, but we just found that nothing really stood out in flavour or uniqueness. Our calamari was extremely oversalted like the dead sea, The fish in the fish tacos sure did swim - in oil (this almost erased any history of it's time in the dear ocean). The blackened chicken cowboy salad was limp in a heavy amount of dressing and lets hope the gunslinger doesn't hear about it. We're pretty sure the non-alcoholic mojito was bitter with not too much lime, but instead alcohol. The atmosphere is alright and the service is quite nice!! But after visiting twice since the reopening we've had the same results both times. Also $95 for two meals, an appetizer, a drink and a kids menu meal is crazy!!!

The wait staff are very friendly and the interior decor is perfect. It doesnt look like a stereotypical sports bar, the tvs are not blaring along with the music. It's nice to be able to socialize at a 'social' house. The food was pretty good and everything that I could see looked homemade. I had the fried cauliflower which was amazing along with some southern fried chicken and pickles. The chicken was good but was lacking something acidic to make it really pop. My friend had a classic burger with ceasar salad and not a bite was left. I'll definitely be back to try out more of the menu.

Where to begin? The Thai Chicken Soup is second to none, the Dynamite Rolls are exceptional, the service is top notch and the patio/sun room/open air dining area is a great place to eat. I was here with some co-workers for a week and my biggest regret is that we didn't find Brown's on the first day. We did eat here every day (sometimes twice) for the last 4 days though. 5 stars isn't enough!

We drove to Brandon to go to Rock the Rink stopped in at Browns at 5pm to get food before the show which started at 7pm. Waited for an hour and a half for our food. Everyone who came after us were eating and paying and we kept getting told the food was coming. The food came the moment we needed to leave for Rock the Rink. We got there during happy hour so we ordered the nachos which were supposed to be cheaper we were there so long they charged us full price for the nachos food and everything. Even though we didn’t get to eat it, we had to box it up in a rush and head out. 87 dollar meal not including our friends meal for $32 dollars and pretty much garbage now. We bought 3 hot dogs at the rink instead.

First off, we were in a large group so I'm not sure about normal days. But I hate to say criticisms especially because I work in a a restaurant myself. But let me start it off... No.1: I didn't end up getting the food I had originally ordered (we had ordered a week prior so they could accommodate such a large group) I decided to try and not make a headache as I know we really strained them with so many people... No.2: my burger had obviously been sitting for awhile. The meat was colder than room temp all the way through and the whole thing was dry and falling apart... No.3: my plate had been very rushed and not included any garnish, but I didn't tie this into my review because it's not a huge deal. But when I pay $25 for a burger I didn't order I expect it to at least have a bit of professionalism. No.4: the soda I had ordered tasted very bad as if the machines either hadn't been cleaned. Or the pumps weren't getting enough syrup to the fountain. It's very hard to mess up pre made soda. This is why I gave it 2 stars, the building is very nice and modern with a classy feel. But why would I come to a restaurant if the foods no good. There's an A&W right next door and it might be the better option.

Menu is sparse and I should have known better than to order pad thai in a pub. I haven't seen so many limp noodles in one place since the Winnipeg Arena closed. Beer was good and the venue was nice. Service was very good.

Very very very pleased with Browns Social House. Upon entering, we were asked a few covid related questions and gave my name and number in case a covid issue happened so they could contact us. Our server was very friendly. I ordered the Avocado toast and eggs brunch and I have to say, I was absolutely pleased with the serving size, and the price. We didn't wait long at all. All of the staff were following all covid guidelines. This was my first time here, and I will be returning for future dining experiences. Thank you so much!

First time at Browns Social House. Staff was very friendly. The place looked great. Had a great selection on their menu. Prices were a bit on the higher end, but well worth it. Ordered the Dragon Bowl. Its a teriyaki chicken over rice and veggies. Very tasty and nice portion! Will go again and highly recommend to check this place out! ????????????

Went to this restaurant because they were advertised as having gluten free options. We expressed concerns with the way that some of the menu items were listed and the waitress very kindly checked with the kitchen. When we were still unsure, the manager came to our table. As I expressed my concerns his response was “listen hun”! I’m a 60 something woman and I’m nobody’s hun. I’ve never experienced something so rude in a restaurant!
