we have been coming to your restaurant ever since you were on Rosser Ave. and we have never had a bad meal , until tonight. My wife's birthday and the meat was cooked wrong ( your specialty, prime rib . when we asked about it your waitress took it back and the Chef placed it on the grill until it was black covered it with warm gravy and returned it. it was still red in the center . I sent it back and noting else was done. Table 9 check 32 server was Madison Thursday at 635. I have always spoken highly of you restaurant but I can no longer do that. I should mention that I was surprised to see I was charged even though I did not eat it.

First time dining at Albert's, but I'm sure we'll be coming back. We tried the Greek style Pork chops and they were really good. Nicely seasoned and tender. The lemon roasted potatoes were tasty. I think my only complaint would have been about the soup. Our waitress thought it was vegetable beef, but it was a bean soup. It was good....just not what I was expecting. Next time I'll go with the salad instead. Overall a great experience

Although a Greek restaurant, if you like prime rib, this is your place to get it in Brandon. Been several times and the meat was tender and flavourful. There are several portion sizes to choose from as a complete meal for one person. Or, a single order can be shared (meat portion) between two at half cost. Optionally, a small upcharge will give both a complete meal e.g.soup/salad, veg and potato/rice). Nice atmosphere, friendly staff. This is a Greek eatery, so classic Greek dishes are available.

Food was tasty but a bit overpriced for the portion size. Souvlaki, 2 sticks with 2 pork pieces each, rice, bit overcooked veggies, small Greek salad and 2 Stella beers ended up costing $50. But I think food costs more in Brandon anyway. Good friendly service. Clean booths.

Three of us at this visit. We had 2 prime rib and 1 steak dinner. They were all decent portions and cooked to our exact specifications. Great atmosphere and a spectacular waitress. It's a small but very cozy dining room, with attractive decor. A very comfortable place to visit. Not too formal.

I have tried to stop here a half a dozen times, but always ended up getting there close to closing time and turned away several times. Place is small and cramped with limited seating and somewhat drafty it being December even though it was a mild day. The menu was limited to only 2 pages and most of the items over priced. I ordered the ceasar salad and it not up to par. Most of the salad was from the core and was yellow lettuce and not nice leafy green romaine you would normally expect. Overly seasoned with garlic salt and parmesan and doused with a lot of croutons. The price of this sad bowl of lettuce was 12 dollars alone. The redeeming thing was the cheese cake which was rich and smooth, topped with canned frozen strawberry concoction. It might be considered by some as a cozy little spot by the locals. However I don't have any plans on ever returning to this place. There are just too many other places that have better venues, food and lower prices. The fact was this was next to the truck stop and within walking distance was my main reason as it was convenient.

Authentic Greek in Brandon Manitoba. This was possibly the oddest restaurant combination imaginable. It a climbing wall, batting cage, fabricobbled restaurant, but some of the best Greek food we've had. This place goes on one of our favorite finds!

Came here for lunch with a good friend last week. Cute little restaurant with a really nice cozy atmosphere. I had the Greek Salad and everything was very crisp and tasty! My buddy had the Gyro and it was also nice and hot as well as tasty. If you're looking for a hidden gem to have lunch at, or even dinner, I highly suggest giving these guys a shot.

I have been here a couple times while in Brandon. I dint think it's overpriced, as some others have said. It's not cheap, but it's not fast food. I was pleased with the portion both times. I had the lamb (half rack) and my coworker had steak. We had no complaints. It was really good. The wait was not long for the type of food. The place looks really small from outside, but there is lots of seating. I will go again when I am back.

Albert's might have the best pizza I have found across Canada!! Like really really good!! Semi parking across the road and every other dish we have had has been spot on! My favorite is that Albert is actually in the kitchen cooking! I don't know Albert but I can say he knows his stuff!! Thanks Albert and team!! :) Also Kevin (previous review) remember it's not up to the owners of the establishment to make up the rules but it is up to them to follow them if they don't want their business licence revoked!

We just finished our take out. Holy , so so so delicious!!! We had the princess cut prime rib and the lemon dill salmon with lemon potatoes. Their famous dinner buns also came with the meal. O-M-G. I was waiting to try the prime rib for a while and it did not disappoint! No wonder it is the restaurant's specialty and a must-try menu item in Brandon. Very generous portions of tender meat. The lemon roasted potatoes were surprisingly flavourful. The side Greek salad was well worth the extra cost and a nice compliment to the meal. My only minor suggestion would be to have a more potent horseradish, although my boyfriend would disagree! The Dolmades were herbaceous, and a sprinkle of lemon really made the flavours pop. We had enough leftovers for a proper lunch the next day. The service was friendly and accommodating with good COVID-19 safety precautions (masks required, plexiglass barrier, social distancing, hand sanitizer available).

We went for supper at Alberts only because we were staying at the hotel beside it. The supper menu is limited to large entrees only, nothing on the lighter side like a Greek style Gyro which is apparently only available at lunch. My 2 yr old ended up having a cheeseburger from the kids menu with a baked potato bcuz they 'don't serve fries'. The burger was super dry. I ordered the veal and it was tough, the breading was all falling off, the gravy was most definitely the 'add water and stir' packaged type, my vegetables were a horrible frozen from a bag mix with dill added to them. For $20.95 for my entree I expected a much better meal. I will not be back. Gross and disappointing.

My son and I stopped in here for the Steak special. We ate on the patio as we had our dog with us that hadn't eaten much over the last few days as we were traveling. Jen our server was exceptional! She provided a little bit of meat to the dog food and had our little Pal eating in no time. The steak special along with appetizers we ordered were excellent. I went in here starving and got the BBQ rib & shrimp dinner special. $38.00 later I left unsatisfyed and still hungry. Half of one potato..? Really? They were also playing the lord of the rings sound track in the background...lol. But our server was cute and had a nice smile, so it wasn't a complete failure. Close tho. Ps. Don't be afraid of a little seasoning. Especially in your Ceasar's. Out.

Okay, here we go...... The burger was horrible, saturated in grease and didn't even taste like beef. Just ate here less then 3 hours ago and I'm sick from the food, Pretty sad when I'd rather eat Mcdonald's. My friend had the "steak sandwich" more like a tiny piece of steak and garlic bread on the side.... charging full price and adding extra for mushrooms freaking mushrooms... never will I ever go back! Horrible food and way over priced!!!!

Stayed at Lakeside Inn, the hotel beside Alberts. Noticed an advertisement encouraging travellers to try the local restaurant. Family went, food was mediocre and extremely pricy. Not worth the cost but THEN upon returning to the hotel, noted an Alberts delivery menu in our room with prices listed at 30-40% of what we paid within the restaurant. Service was extremely slow, which understandably is not the fault of the staff members perhaps management should consider this.

The place is a neat little spot tucked away on the Northhill. You certainly get a family vibe within the atmosphere. The waiters appear to lack some social skills but good enough for a patio experience. The food was alright for me. I can't say it was terrific, but it was not bad. I would recommend for maybe a one time experience to assess and see if you like it.

Steak sandwich with beer special was good cooked nice and rare(6 ounces is a small steak, but that's what I ordered), the pizza was ok, and the mushroom soup was good. My wife had the prime rib special. It was tasty, but over-done. No pink at all and a bit dry. Her salad was also 98℅ iceberg lettuce.
