There were only two other groups outside on the patio and even then it took us about 15 minutes to get our drinks, maybe they were short staffed but there were 2-3 servers outside. As for the fajitas, we ended up getting the veggie ones to try out, mine had about 3 small mushrooms even though it was on the menu as veggie and mushroom fajitas, the second disappointing thing was how many big heads of broccoli were on the skillet, almost impossible to put into the fajita unless you cut it up, plus the skillet was only half full. I wont be going back, for the price we paid it definitely was not worth it if youre havint veggie fajitas.

Servers were great. They did seem a bit short staffed but I think thats to be expected with patio dining...not fully back up yet from Covid shutdown. Food was great as always. Mr loves their steak. I love their wings/rib combo. Delish!

Bad. Wanted to have a drink on the patio. It was pretty much empty, yet they won't let me in without a reservation. Why??!!! There were plenty of places to sit on the patio. I guess they don't need customers. Nonesense.

My wife and I went there on June15,2021.Was told there would be a half hour wait,so we waited.When our table was suppose to be ready.we were told that we had fill out an online questionnaire Why weren't we told this when we said that we would wait.Plus there were 3 ppl.ahead of us and they were sat and we didn't see them fill out any questionnaire.Poor communication between your staff. Our first time there will not go back. PS The 3 ppl came in after we were told it was a half hour wait and they got sat.

We ordered sirloin steak and fish tacos, caesar salad as dinner . The waitress didn't bring steak knife, and the steak was very sinewy, without steak knife it's very hard to cut the meat. As the fish tacos, the sauce was so little, they tasted bland. On the other hand, the dressing for caesar salad was too much, way too salty and suggy. It's not a enjoyable meal. Maybe ribs are better, but not sure if we want to try.

Worst food I have had !!! We ordered a couple of things and most were way below standard. Nachos were served cold, hardly had any veggies. Garden salad had Rotten tomatoes and onion( Disgusting), Chicken quesadilla didn't have any chicken or any filling other than cheese, was dry and overcooked. Had high expectations from the restaurant like this one !!!! I wish there was a zero star option.

We came here for dinner and sat in the bar to watch the leaf game. Our server Viper seemed to rush us a lot. Once we received our food (which was fine) we noticed our server sitting down at the bar, eating and talking to someone on FaceTime with no shirt on in bed. She never came back to our table; we had plates and empty glasses all over the table. The bartender came and cleared our dishes and gave us our bills (she was great). Viper was still sitting at the bar, enjoying some food and a drink, and playing on her phone by the time we left. As someone who has worked in the food industry since the age of 17, this is the WORST thing a server can do. I would hope something is done about Viper, because that kind of service and attitude is crippling to a business. She needs to be let go.

By far the worse experience ever. Terrible service, didn't even have a bartender. Why offer drinks? The queso tasted like barf. $60 of waste, manager didnt even bother coming over. I would never come back here.

Worst experience at this location. Service was really bad, plus they don’t come to see if something is needed. They gave us half plates for family , other plates come after the food was cold . Really bad . Even manager they are getting paid they don’t even look how the employees are doing. Pls if you doing business do it better way . Clients are paying here . Give them good service and good experience please. Anyway I won’t visit this location. Better to go some other lone star location.????????????

I have been meaning to write this review for 3 weeks. I ordered takeout with some friends and it was not only yummy but a wonderful experience. From the ordering process, which my friend said was very easy, to the food itself and the presentation, I was very pleased. In our group, we had ordered fajitas bowls and I ordered the uno fajitas. The quality of the food was just like it is when I have visited this location in the past, excellent. The presentation of the food was also clearly well crafted and there was attention details. I loved my little container of fajita fixings, it was so cute and made the experience that much more enjoyable. I have had take out during this pandemic before that was just okay. I am glad to have had such a great experience with my friends on our recent order. Heading into another lockdown, I am making sure that my 'to support list' includes this particular Lone Star location.

Great friendly service. Complimentary nachos were very nice. Drinks were really good- wide-variety of options.Chicken wrap-chicken could have been distributed more evenly. Burger- a little over seasoned. Also, no chipotle sauce for sweet potato fries.

I visited with my daughter, Nachos were fine, I ordered Fajitas and this is what I found, the chicken was probably an ascetic monk from some Ontario Yoga chicken farm, really, it was so slim that I had problems seeing it in my plate, Pico de Gallo, well who can go wrong with this ?? apparently the cook thought that preparing a fresh item like this can be made twice a month, well that's how it tasted !!!. Such a pity because this Fajitas really spoiled my enjoyment of those greatly home made tortillas, yes they have their own tortilla machine and they cooked them right in there and were perfect. I understand all the issues Restaurant are facing with this "pandemic" but come on guys that shouldn't interfere with doing your food fresh every day. The server was great and I'm not making this up.

We waited approximately 20 minutes and no one even came to take our drinks order. We eventually walked out when a waitress came and took the order of the 3 tables that came in after us.

My wife ordered take out last night (Feb 14th) and after having to enter information multiple times via the website since it wasn’t working correctly, she texted me the order confirmation number around 4:30PM. Food was supposed to be ready according to the confirmation at 6:43PM. I arrived at the restaurant just after 7PM and when I got to the counter, I did not see any bags waiting. The gentleman in front of me was also there for pickup and had just finished paying. When it was my turn, the hostess didn’t really have a clue what she needed to do and basically told me to just wait. So I stood at desk and waited for probably about 10minutes till another hostess had come to ask if I was helped and again I said I was here for pickup. That is when finally the first hostess processed my payment. Around 7:30PM 2 orders came out to the front and I thought great, one for the gentleman in front of me and the other was mine. NOPE, in walks in 2 different Skip the Dishes drivers who just waltz up to the counter and get those orders. Next walks in a lady who pays for yet another take out order. She waited a bit until she asked about how long it was going to be since her order was supposed to be ready at 7:15PM. I told her, mine was supposed to be ready at 6:45PM and wasn’t sure when the other gentleman’s order was supposed to be ready. So the 3 of us continue to wait. This lady ends up complaining more to one of the managers that was helping out in the front. He ends up going back and comes back out saying the food should be out in 10 minutes. I think to myself, great, that means the 1st guys order will come out shortly followed by mine, then this lady’s. NOPE, out comes another manager (I assume since I didn’t see this lady the 45 minutes I was waiting so far) and gives the lady her order. She also gives her a coupon for a free queso and a $10 gift card. At this point, I am beyond PO’ed so when the lady leaves, I tell this manager that this is BS since she got her order before me and the other gentleman. She says that she was told to bring out this lady’s. I told her this was not right. She proceeds to drop the same coupons that were given to the lady on the counter for me and the gentleman and goes to the back. So I continue to wait…Another girl that was working in and around the front comes to ask me what my order was so I show her what my wife had sent me. She goes to the back and checks. She comes out with a bag and it appears to be for the 1st gentleman. She starts to go through the items in the bag, but it appears that it is not his, but in fact my order. She goes through items with me and asked if I had picked the 1L Sprite. I said I guess that is what my wife had chosen. This is now 8PM and I am on my way home finally. On the ride, I kept smelling steak. I thought odd since my wife usually orders chicken, but I just thought it was residual smells from the kitchen. Once I get home, start to unpack everything and lone be hold, instead of chicken, we were give steak. Asked my wife if she ordered steak, NOPE chicken and a bottle of coke, not the sprite I was given. Also instead of a queso, we got some bowl of what I assume is some kind of soup (see attached picture). Now onto the steak…it was barely cooked. I like my steaks medium rare, but this was rare border lining on Montreal Blue. I ended up eating 3 fajitas (even though I wasn’t even hungry at this point) and thank goodness I didn’t get sick. My wife only ended up eating 1 steak fajita and luckily we had cooked chicken she used for the rest of her fajitas. So a big thanks for ruining our Valentine’s Day meal. My wife has ordered fajitas multiple times over the years and there always seems to be some issue when it comes to the workers at the desk or mistakes in what we are given in the order. This one definitely tops the cake and I don’t think we’ll be ordering anything further from this location.

The food was amazing and arrived piping hot and was delicious. Our server was phenomenal! She was very attentive and friendly. Our fajita portions were very generous and we had enough leftovers for the next day. The only downside was when we arrived around 11:30 am there was no one at the front. We walked into the bar area where there may have been two tables of diners but no employees. We then walked into the restaurant, where there was one table occupied, there were still no staff to be found. We walked back to the entrance and an employee finally arrived! I did mention that I hoped that our almost 10 minute wait didn't indicate what the level of service was going to be! I have to say that thankfully it wasn't! Again, the food was delicious and I would definitely return.

I know I just reviewed this place a couple weeks ago but after two years me and my family went back today, and everything was how I imagined. Aka phenomenal. What’s even more impressive is the fact that we got a waitress who was new to the restaurant, and she was just as efficient and polite as someone who’s been working there for years. We dropped in on March 5 and the young lady who greeted us at the door and took us to our table gave us the impression she was really happy we were there. We ordered the chicken bites which were really tasty and the dry rub Cajun chicken wings which were crisp on the outside and juicy on the inside. Kudos to the chef! An added bonus was our server, Kailey, who made us feel welcome. Her timing and service were absolutely perfect Will definitely be returning.

We went there for my birthday, probably I have very high expectations, we usually dine on the one by the airport, and is always good, We ask for stake medium well and probably bcz is was Saturday late around 9pm and the kitchen staff wanted to go home , we don't know, but our stake was rush-red-bloody we complained to the server and she just ask, but are you able to eat it? Well, i we pay 26dlls for a stake, we hope is the right portion and cook as we ask, Anyways, that just ruined my "special dinner " birthday My Margarita was to watery, we feel the late night, probably ready to close turning out the machines.

Love love love!!!! The food here. Absolutely amazing everything comes to the table hot! Sizzling!. The portions are very big. Staff is amazing. the waiter came to our table with no pen or paper and he remember all 4 of our orders and drinks. The atmosphere his amazing as well. Good place for friends and family.

Absolutely loved the food ( in my opinion ), the place is very clean if you do go in, the patio is very nice on a warm day ( not hot day ), and the people there were very nice and I don't know about the rest of you guys but my service was pretty quick. just a little expensive but other than that I loved the place totally recommend!!! I highly suggest looking for a woman with pinkish hair she was my server and she was so polite and kind.

If I could give a -5, I would. In all of my life I have never felt the need to share a bad experience over food because nothing is perfect. However, we ordered a fajita bowl and enchiladas and let me tell you that I am still smh the next morning. The food tasted like it was over-nuked. The tortillas were tough as well as the chicken. The food had no taste - sorry the sour cream tasted like it was supposed to. There literally was nothing good to say about my experience, especially for the price I paid. If it were McDonald's I would have just said welp and moved on but for $100 some flavourful and freshness is apparently too much to ask (was also supposed to get Ben and Jerry's ice cream free with my order but nope). Lone Star, this first and last time eating with you, that's how gross my experience was.

Good to see indoor dining back after so much time. Fajitas were good as usual. Service was great and I was comfortably socially distanced. They are taking the appropriate precautions which I appreciate.

This was the first time I've been to a Lone Star Grill, but I've been to the Lone Star State many times. My girlfriend and I felt like something different from the regular fare of Swiss Chalet, Wimpy's, Indian etc. We miss our favourite Mexican restaurant in Florida so Lone Star is a fair substitute. I had the Mosquito Chicken (Mesquite lol) and a pint of Tankard Ale - real beer. Service was great, food was pretty good, decor western; my only real complaint was the noise levels. Between the numerous birthdays and the celebratory hockey team; the noise levels reached 75-80 decibels!! That's why they only get three stars and not four.

In order to cooperate in the social distancing we are all trying to adhere to I decided to use SkipTheDishes and order from Lone Star today. I ordered the quesadillas which I usually order in the restaurant. The order arrived cold, I asked for no tomatoes on the food and there were, and the smallest plastic container of guacamole for $2.99. I was very disappointed. Edit: A manager reached out to me and apologized for the service. They offered me a $25 gift card towards my next order which changes my review to a 3.5 star now. Thanks for the great follow up.

Hands down the worst post covid meal I have had at a chain restaurant, I honestly find it to be a slap in the the face to patrons that want to support restaurants only to arrive for in person dining and find out the food is sub par. We dined in the restaurant and had the fajitas for 2 which used to be great only to find the chicken had zero flavor (I can only assume by the taste and texture it was boiled along with the rest of the veggies) and the rice was completely undercooked. Honestly I had no idea I could get better fajitas at taco bell but apparently it is possible! The only upside to the visit was the friendly server and the amazing margarita!

I've been 2 times in the last month, Service is Terrible, servers are not Friendly at all. it was very slow on a Tuesday evening and it took 15 min just to get a drink. Ordered Fajitas for 1 got fajitas for 2, was told because we were 2 people that's what they assumed we needed. Cost went from $24.00 to $48.00. I ordered the chicken tacos from here through Ubereats and you can tell the chicken is frozen grilled chicken... it's definitely not fresh. The chicken was also very cold and can't be blamed on delivery because delivery was fast and I live very close to the restaurant. Definitely not ordering from here again. Absolute trash.

Garbage on the floor. No frozen margaritas which is advertised. Not enough staff on a busy Saturday evening. When I food came we had to wait another 10 minutes for ketchup leaving food to get cold. The manager seem not concerned with ensuring a excellent guest experience. I felt trapped at my table with no one coming to let me pay the bill. Won’t be back anytime soon.

Went here tonight with my girlfriend and we had an awesome time, We had the horseshoe of onion rings to start, and the chicken chimichanga and cabo tacos for our entrees. Our server was this awesome guy named Pony (not Tony) who had a charming smile, a sparkle in his eye and an overall pleasant demeanor. He really went above and beyond to make us feel welcome - cleaning up the glass of water we accidentally spilled after making sure we were ok. He also had amazing hair - like shampoo commercial hair.

Went for partners Birthday as it her favourite Restaurant. Meal was fantastic. But what I really want to post review about is the waiter “Preston” he was phenomenal. First off throughout the meal he assist my step daughter find all the items on the kids menu scavenger hunt, walking her to and retrieving items he knows where in different parts of the restaurant and even sang for her @ the end, which was her last tile to fill. He engaged in conversation with us all night around favourite shows he even remembered all the “backyardigans” names for my SD, he recommended a graphic Novel series for my son “Bone” . He was probably the best waiter ive had in the last 20 years!!! Refills were plenty and service was Quick. With all of the negativity around and demands of the service industry employees these days and being in the industry myself I felt a duty to write how pleased we were with the service as it needs to be recognized. It employees like this that will keep people coming back. !!! Thank you for a great evening Preston . Hopefully this gets to the right people

It was our first time there, and I must say it was not a disappointment. The kids and us enjoyed our food so much. Appetizers, wings and calamari....Omg so good. Especially the calamari if you're into that. The sirloin and NY steak delish. The place is very spacious and the bathroom so clean. I was so happy. Great place to eat and have drinks????

So I ordered the texas size ribs for my wife because she always loves the way it from the Oakville location...ordering from the Brampton location was not a good idea. there was no grill mark no sauce.. it like they pop it in the microwave.it looks awful... We toss it in the garbage... I did call the restaurant ..the manager (Sangria) said she could give another ribs order or email me a gift certificate..have heard from her since... Worse experience........ Shame shame... Will never order from that location again.

Having lived in Texas, I’ve searched everywhere since moving to Brampton for a good Tex-mex place. Lone Star fits the bill and then some! Great fajitas and ribs and much more. Service is steady and friendly. You won’t find better Tex-mex anywhere this side of the border.

I was craving tacos and decided to go to Lonestar for the ‘Tacos and Tequila’ event. I got the lobster tail tacos and I must say I was pretty disappointed. There was very little lobster on the plate. Each taco barely had any meat to it, just tortilla and toppings. Towards the ending of my meal I did find a hair on my plate. The waiter was pretty good considering the circumstances. Afterwards I ordered some classic chicken wings, habanero flavoured and they were amazing. If I had initially ordered the wings instead of the tacos the rating would be higher.

Great service and typical okay-ish food. Nothing really special but I would return again. Had the coconut shrimp which I happened to really like but the others on the table didn't. I guess it is personal taste. The restaurant area has a lot of tables and quite spacious. The bar area is perfect to watch the game.

I had a craving for something close to genuine Mexican and my fiancee suggested we go here. As she was paying, how could I object! This was my first time visiting Lone Star. The food we ordered was very good, the service friendly and prompt, the decor rustic Texan, but the atmosphere overwhelmingly noisy.

Really bad customer service, the staff had a breakdown and refused to serve us at the bar, yet recommended us seating somewhere else in the restaurant. And then lied to the manager about the exchange that occured. I clearly had witnesses. Therefore I'm rating them 1 star . . . . a lone star!!

Great little place. Visited on a Sunday ( long weekend) Slow time for the restaurant. But the service and food were just great. Our Server named Whiskey was a doll! My 2-year-old kids made a bit of a mess and they created pure chaos for the girls but they were so understanding and handled everything professionally. Bless these girls! Because of them ill be back! ❤
