The food was pretty good although not fabulous. Our appetizer (the lobster dunk) came to us a little overdone and didn't even cover the bottom of the small dish it was in. It is a dip so that gives you some idea of the quantity in the dish - and we payed $14 for that. Our food was quite good - we had a blackened chicken salad and a Mr. Mikes burger. The only other issue we had was with our server. She really didn't do much for us. She dropped off our glasses of water before our food came, and we drank them right away and we never got refills throughout the meal. That was a bit disappointing. Overall it was a decent experience though.

Are you kidding me. The prices!! I had a hamburger, a beer and my wife had a small sandwich and water and it was over $40 buck with the tip. Server was efficient and friendly but will not be back. Not in this lifetime.

A decent steak house with modern decor. The service was great with friendly staff. It's a little pricey but the quality nearly makes up for it. I look forward to frequenting the patio there in the summer. I would recommend this place to friends and family.

Our Mr Mike’s Steakhouse is fantastic! The food is always good, the staff is always amazing and the prices are very reasonable for what you receive! Try their tomato bruschetta as a started, it will change your night!! Service is fast and efficient so don’t be afraid if you don’t have an hour to eat, we have literally been in and out in 30 minutes before a show at the local live theatre, the staff will get you a fast, tasty meal in no time at all. Also a great place for appies and a casual drink any night of the week!

Food was delicious. Server was absolutely incredible!! I told her I wanted extra extra crispy fries and that's exactly what I got and I was extremely impressed. Getting fries the perfect crispness is very rare but they did it perfectly. I've been to places that think "crispy" fries are ones that can bend in half without breaking. No thank you. The Seafest Fettucini was absolutely GORGEOUS!!! As a serious pasta, and all things Italian, lover and connoisseur... they did incredible!! I didn't even want to eat it because it looked so beautiful. The plating was impeccable. And the gravy with the fries was absolutely delicious. Super thick and brown. Just like it should be!!

I stop in here regularly always have great food and service whether I'm sitting at bar alone or table with friends. Very accommodating with my slight food mods as I hate onions. Today I had the seafest pasta dish and wanted red sauce instead of the usual alfredo there was no problems in doing so. :)

Great place to eat! My family came here a couple nights ago, we were in a rush as we had tickets for an event in Saskatoon, we let the staff know we were in a rush and had to be out within 45minutes, they didn't have an empty table that would fit us, so they gave us a reserved table and got us in and out within 30 minutes! I highly recommend Mr. Mikes! Staff is super friendly!

Food was good - the cornbread that comes with the 8oz steak was delicious! The only disappointment was the sangria pitcher ($20.00). They said its red wine as its base but the colour was barely pink - looked a lot like soda fillers and berries. We had to order an additional 9 oz ($10.00) of their house wine to pour in and even then still wasnt leaving a satisfying taste of what is supposed to be a refreshing drink. I'd recommend ordering another alcoholic drink over the sangria. Also, skip the lobster dip shown in the appetizer, wasnt worth it as the main meals were super filling!

We were warmly welcomed, and promptly seated. My wife ordered steak, medium well. It came rare. Took a few minutes to get the waitress attention, but she immediately seen it was undercooked and took it back to the kitchen. It came back cooked to order. The rest of the meal was good. The waitress offered my wife free dessert for the inconvenience. She had an amazing slice of cheesecake. Thanks Marina !

I have enjoyed many a meal here but on this occasion the wife and I were let down. It was a Saturday night and we didn't have a booking, the waiting time we were told was 25mins, it ended up being 45mins. Now the waiting is not the issue, we new there was people before us. When we got seated we were given menus and were left alone to ponder them. More people got seated and offered refreshments, when the same waitress then went back to the people who came in after us and took their food orders and then came back to us. The wife and I thought this was rude but said nothing as we thought surely she would put in our order before the people that came in after us. No this was not the case as more tables that came in after us got their starters and their mains before we even got ours. This was an extremely busy night I get it but there is a right way of doing business. When the food arrived, the vegetables were under cooked, my baked potato was over cooked. Sadly this was a very disappointing night for us and all we wanted to do was get out of there. We missed our hockey game this evening which added to our disappointment.

I'm new to town and want to support local places before going into Saskatoon but I can't justify getting something here when Original Joe's will sell me something much fresher and less salty for the same price.

My family of three went went in on a Friday for dinner. I ordered the Rib eye steak dip, my husband had the Cajun chicken fettuccine Pomodoro, and my son had the tomato pasta. The quality of the food in general was pretty unspectacular. For example, the chicken in my husband's pasta tasted like it was pre-cooked and chewy and my son's pasta was incredibly boring (just because he's a kid doesn't mean he should have sub-par versions of foods). The steak dip was reasonably enjoyable for the price. I think the overall dissatisfaction comes from the lack of color (vegetables) served with any of the dishes. Perhaps, having even a decorative salad to go along with the food would make up for the blandness. The service was timely and satisfactory. We expect to get what we pay for so we weren't expecting Michelin quality foods but I think the pasta dish my husband ordered was overpriced for a chef boyardee quality pasta. Can't say it was a terrible experience because it wasn't, but I think some minor tweaks would make all the difference.

One of the places to eat in the heart of Cranbrook. I had the occasion to eat there a couple if times. I have yet to be disappointing. The food is excellent! The steaks were juicy and tender as they were don't to perfection. The pasta is well flavored. The drinks and plates are well prepared and well presented. The ambiance is that of a west coast establishment, decorated to match. The menu will also reflect that by the names on some of the dishes. This restaurant appear to have an upscale feel, yet one can feel comfortable there, even dressed casually. The price is a bit higher but they have summer specials which are well worth a second look. I will definitely return to this location as I am eager to try more things off their menu.

Giving this a one star because it won't let me post this review with no stars. Worst experience all 3 times we tried. Tonight was a horrible experience. Ordered a steak which came undercooked. Tried to send it back and could hear the kitchen staff being insulting and disrespectful. Told the waitress it was cooked correctly but it was way underdone. The manager offered a 15% discount on our meals and a free dessert. By this time we had enough and declined this offer instead informing her we would pay for the appetizer and pops we drank and not the entrees. She reluctantly agreed. Was one of the most unprofessional experiences we have ever had at a restaurant in recent memory.

Pro: Food was great. Ambience was good. Con: Waitress was not polite on asking our order. She started being obnoxious when we ask her if they have menu for family meals, and told us we have to order individually(seems like she's challenging us if we can afford the foods in the menu or not). Other restaurants offer family menu, like Montana's and Boston's pizza, Etc. Conclusion: I will not recommend this to any of my friends and family not until I recieve a compensation from what I have spent in this resto. But to be honest I will never ever gonna go back in this place ever again(even if I'm from Martinsville). I prefer Montana's, Moxies, The Keg, Milestone, and other Chinese restaurant s.

We had a great experience at Mr.Mikes. our waitress Bailey was exceptional. The restaurant was clean and they followed covid protocol. My husband's steak didn't come out as he wanted but Bailey was quick to order him another and gave a discount and a free cheesecake. Our food was hot and yummy and the drinks kept coming. Would highly recommend here to eat.

Nice decor as per Mr Mike's standards. Decent fish and fries but not outstanding. Tartar sauce was not tartar but some sad mayo-ish substitute. Coleslaw was, in my opinion, old. But the reason was explained as "inferno" sauce on it. Still tasted old. They did sub out a very good and fresh salad so that made up for it. Just a tip but don't advertise it as "classic" fish and chips; and fail on the coleslaw.

I just went for family dinner. I am leaving hungry to go get coffee from tim hortons because 1) I didn't get my appetizer 2)my steak looked like a leather boot and my potato was barely edible. 3) they took my steak and potato cause I ate the broccoli and brought me back. Let me sit at a table with 20 family members I am meeting for the first time and eat a single piece of meat on a plate. 4) then my appitizer came 5) wrong appitizer 6) my steak is still sitting on that plate with out the potato they just decided no longer came with my meal after sending it back and only getting a third of my meal back. .

Not bad, pretty good. A bit pricey for what you get. I ordered a 14oz rib eye rare and got a medium rare striploin. Steak was still delicious. A 12 something $ difference in steak which was deducted from my bill. Staff & service was excellent, our server Daniel was very friendly & professional. If a half decent dinner with a few drinks is on your menu for 2 $100 plus .

Had been to this location a number of times and had a couple bad experiences, one of which topped them all leading to a bad review. The manager reached out to us to discuss our visit. He ensured us that the next time we came in, that we would see a big improvement. I am happy to say that we gave it another try and were very pleased with our experience. The food was perfect, the service was exceptional, and a little issue with a drink order was quickly corrected. Even the atmosphere in the building seemed different in a positive way. Overall we had a fantastic date night out and couldn't have asked for better place to spend it!

Last Thursday four of us seniors dined at Mr Mikes and were delighted to discover that: not only was the food excellent, but it was on sale for 1/2-price! Apparently this is standard practice there for some meals on Thu-Fri-Sat evenings after 8:00pm. Because the quality of everything was enjoyable we went back Friday evening and everything--atmosphere, furnishings, service, food, and pricing--was as good as it had been Thursday night. From now on Mr Mikes in Martensville will always be a regular stop on our biannual migrations across Saskatchewan.

My wife and I had gone here for a celebratory lunch. We had the pleasure of having a poorly mannered and grumpy waitress. As well as enjoyed the deep fried pickles, that were burnt and brought to us by the manager with one hand, as she chewed her nails with the other. We then waited 30 minutes after our appetizer for the Mike burger, and roast beef sandwich. The two tables that sat down after us had recieved their meals before us both having issues. We asked for our bill after being further ignored and recieved attitude from both the waitress and manager. We were left to wait another 12 minutes to recieve our bill for the two drinks and appetizer. The staff were arguing in the back while customers were waiting for basic needs like drinks and cutlery. The restaurant was not even busy or full at the time of this occurrence. I have to say, being a regular here it is disappointing to see the prices continue to increase, while the food portions decrease, and the quality of the restaurant and its cleanliness spiral south. The service today was the tipping point for myself. We wont be eating here again. Even further disappointing we spent 250$ in gift cards for family this Christmas. I hope atleast they get some enjoyment out of it.

I'll start with the positive, our waitress Paige was excellent and professional. Unfortunately our experience with the food was atrocious, my partner had found a large piece of plastic in our mushroom appetizer, which could of potentionally been a serious choking hazard. To add to this, our food was distastfully dry, and on par with the likes of fast food. I was highly recommended coming to this steakhouse, but after this experience I am doubtful I would visit again and would not refer to anyone I know.

We went in july 31 2020. Very impressed with the cleanliness and social distancing. We ordered stuffed mushrooms which were amazing unfortunately we ate most of them before I took a photo. The sirloin and lobster mac and cheese was very good, steak was tender, flavorful and cooked to medium rare which was how I ordered it. The kids meals had good portions and kids enjoyed it with no complaints at all. Full menu is online so van be viewed on tour phone at the table which helps limit contact. Very happy and will go again soon.

I liked Mr. Mikes because they have an outdoor fenced area so we were allowed to take our little dog. The steak I had was not medium rare as I ordered it. It was done rare. And it was tough unfortunately. The curry sauce was fabulous. My husband had the salmon with the same sauce and it was awesome. We ordered a pitcher of sangria. It was just ok. Very little red wine taste and very little fruit taste. Very non-descript. But the service was great. We'll go back but just try different menu items.

Mr. Mike's has always been good however I think i got the short end of the stick today. I ordered the steak salad, tried to get the waitress' attention 4 times for a drink but gave up. After 30+ minutes i got my steak salad with a cold steak. Too hungry to care at this point so i just ate, drank water, paid my bill with a smaller tip and left. Went with my family, everyone enjoyed their meals. Fantastic stuffed mushrooms. I ordered the chicken breast main, the Keto version. The green beans were fresh and delicious, cooked perfectly. The salad had parmesan, baby arugula/ greens, avocado onion and tomatoes tossed with a very mild olive oil type dressing. I love that they have keto options. My sister and I both ordered a keto meal and we enjoyed every bite

Aug 2019 update. Food is still excellent. Two 8 ounce strip lions cooked perfect. Even the veggies were perfectly done. Service was topnotch. Two steaks with a glass of wine that was $17, and a couple of beers came out to $95 before tip. Prices are up over year but still worth the price. It is the ONLY busy restaurant in town, just like last year. Also take great care to have quality options for gluten, egg and milk intolerances. One of the best in the chain. We eat out a LOT and rarely order steak. This is one of the few places that cooks a steak almost as good as I do. Not quite Ceasars or Hys but pretty darn good. Aug 27, 2018 Pound of ribs and a sirlion steak with shrimp, along witha drink each just a bit over 75 bucks with tip. Service was absolutely excellent. I made comment the veg were overdone and picked way to large but the meat was done perfect. She offered a free desert but I was full and I didn't think bad veg warranted free desert. They compted my beer instead. Would probably have said nothing if I knew the outcome, all I wanted was the next guy to get better vegetables. Most of the restaurants in town were noticeably vacant at 6:00 pm but this place was packed. There were also clearly lots of locals. Speaks well to consistent good food and service. I would definitely eat here again.

There in a Monday night and impressed with number of people there, the service, and decor. My T Bone unfortunately was tougher than I would have expected... even though it was rare and when redone medium rare. Request was medium rare. Would I recommend....yes.

Changing my 5 star review from 2 years ago. This place has gone down a steep hill so fast. Their steak sandwiches which I used to love are now raw in the middle and charred on the outside. Mac and cheese that we order for the kiddo is microwaved garbage. Suspiciously similar to the microwavable KD bowls you get at the grocery store. Won't return.

Went there on a Thursday night. Terrible slow service. They forgot the kids drinks, refills for the rest of us and never brought out the birthday dessert we asked for. My burger bun was stale, and the fries were flash fried. And the music was having a competition with the atmosphere to see who could be louder. Not impressed for a 4 star joint.

My medium steak came back well done and while they did fix the mistake, the time it took, it does impact the meal. Where they failed again is when my wife needed to substitute the sides that came with the steak sandwich (due to allergies) for a salad, they charged an extra 2.49. The amount was not the point, but we thought this was not the best in terms of service.

Bad service. Bad food. Bad portions. We went for lunch and saw that even the pictures on the menu looked like something we'd pass on so we went with a few appetizers. Bad life choice. We got spinach dip, chicken wings and bruschetta. The wings were pretty good, the bruschetta was bad, and the spinach dip didn't make sense. It was 30 chips with enough dip for about 12. The waitress even admitted that was a big complaint, and then she just walked away!!! I've said it before, never again.

Always great food. It was a great lunch until they turned the A/C on so high we had to leave. Other customers walked out for the same reasons. Also the waitress seems to want you out as soon as you finish your last bite. Interups conversation. By saying do you want something else or just the bill.
