I've only ever had take out so I can't speak for their in house service. Their take away service was fast and tasty with average to small portion sizes for the cost. I would use them again but not all that frequently.

Food and service are excellent! We have gone several times and brought out of town friends and family and they loved it. The restaraunt itself is a bit tired and in need of repainting, the bathrooms are dirty and need renovations.

Finally decided to try the Black Pepper out. Totally regret not coming sooner. Not the nicest looking restaurant from the outside, but the interior is very nice, well decorated, and comfortable. The service was prompt, helpful, and very friendly. The food...oh my, the food. The food deserves its own paragraph. The food was fantastic. Seriously. We ordered off the menu, ate way too much, and still took some home, so good sized portions. Did I mention that it was really tasty? So freaking good my mouth thought it had died and gone to heaven. My tongue is still mad at me for running out of food. Do yourself a favour and eat here. You won't be sorry you did.

Martensville doesn't have much in terms of restaurants and fine dining. However, Black Pepper has got you covered on both ends there. Service 10/10 - Professional and very descriptive as to what they have to offer and very willing to spend the time to explain the dishes to you. Menu 10/10 - Very descriptive and organized. Took some time before ordering my food to read a bit about the culture and how they like to eat their food. Food Presentation/Taste 10/10 - I went very basic here, not really knowing much about East Indian Cuisine. Ordered the Butter Chicken with Garlic Naan Bread and Rice. Wasn't expecting much difference from previous experiences with this dish. Boy was I wrong. First I was brought a flat plate. Followed by the Garlic Naan, Rice and lastly Butter Chicken. Each in their own respective receptacles. Nice touch for people who don't like their food touching. I however, am not one of those individuals. After preparing my dishes for consumption, the first taste just left me floored. I absolutely loved it. The gentleman who acted as my server, made sure I had everything I needed and made sure that I was enjoying my dish to its fullest. All in all. Probably the best place in this small town to eat. Especially if your a fan of East Indian Cuisine. First time? Then I highly recommend you start here. Fantastic. 10/10 Guys! Keep up the hard work!

What a delight! I highly suggest! There was no one there but we had an amazing server. We shared a lovely meal starting with their fish pakora which was lightly battered and incredibly flavourful. Their naan was buttery and delicious and I could have had more as dessert. The menu suggested tea instead of water with our meal which I am glad for as it was lovely. We didn't even add sugar.

I recently went to the restaurant, i ate their buffet which was good but the thing dislike the most is that they have lord Ganesha’s big statue beside where they serve non-veg stuff along with the veggies. So that thing i found very disrespectful towards hindu religion. Either stop serving non-veg in your restraunt or remove that statue from there.

Just had the best meal in martensville! Went to the black pepper tonight with a friend in that town, he said they had pretty good food. Man, he really undersold how good the buffet was, and the coconut naan was out of this world. The best part was that they maintain a low amount in the buffet so that it’s constantly fresh. The server was friendly and very polite, and was looking out for our every need. I recommend you come and try this place.

Great staples like butter chicken and Chana masala. The lamb curry was superb. The naan was light and airy and perfectly crispy. I will make excuses to go to Martinsville to eat here again. They take this cuisine very seriously and put in the effort to make sure it is delicious.

Visited this place on a Friday evening and was disappointed to see we were the only people there because it has great food and awesome staff! I really hope people start to come back here to eat in person because I would hate to lose this gem of a restaurant. Started with the Fish Pakora and Onion Bahji. As always the fish was tender and well seasoned with raita for dip and the onion bahji was hot and crisp with chutney. Ordered Beef Rogan Josh, Lamb Vindaloo, Asia Chicken and Coconut Scallops with vegetable rice and coconut rice for our entrees with garlic naan and butter naan. We had enough food for 4 adults with healthy appetites with enough leftovers for me to take to work for lunch the next day. I love the atmosphere of this place. It is very entertaining to see Indian music videos or Bollywood movies playing on the big screen tv. 5 stars all round for food, service and atmosphere!!!
