Delicious breakfast, great coffee, beautiful and thoughtful decor for a Bonavista eatery with Cabot memorabilia throughout. Our server was fantastic and cheerful. This was our first visit and we will definitely be back during our next trip to Bonavista

Took an hour and a half to get cold soup and a cold hamburger. I don't normally like to give a bad review and if you're having problems with the kitchen just give us a heads up and we'll go somewhere else

Stopped in for a late lunch had to wait about 15min for a table for four, there were empty tables available, once seated we waited another 15min for our order to be taken. Then waited 15-20min for our drinks to arrive after me asking for them after seeing another couple who sat long after us get theirs first. When our order came out, which was a simple order, mine was not there, we ordered two clubhouse and fries, we were told it was being made then, I waited almost a half hour for it, the other three people were almost done their meals. When we went to pay the debit machine was down, no one was told. We told them about the wait but I think it fell on deaf ears. The staff was not friendly at all. I will not eat here again when visiting from the mainland.

We literally just finished eating here. The service was fantastic and the food amazing!!! The gravy is homemade. The fries are homemade. My aunt ordered the salmon dinner. She doesn’t like tartar sauce. She ate the tartar sauce and deemed it delicious! The wedge fries aren’t actually wedges. They’re fries, battered with the same batter as their pressure-cooked chicken, which my mom said was “juicy and salty, just how fried chicken should be.” I ordered the discovery burger, which was described as “...our version of a Big Mac.” It’s 1000 times better than any Big Mac I’ve ever eaten. The patty is beefy and juicy, and the sauce is just fantastic. If you are hesitant about trying a wedge poutine, don’t over analyze it. Just go for it. You’re welcome. :) Everything was simply delicious, and a fantastic start to our little overnight trip to Bonavista! Now, off to the Cape to see the lighthouse.

The food was alright and portions were very filling. Staff was very pleasant and welcoming too. Only complaint is that they don't accept card payments but they were kind enough to wait for a trip to the bank.

This place is extremely frustrating!!!!! You go in and sit down for a meal and the waitress takes your order. She then brings out the meals one at a time and sometimes the first person is done before the last person gets their meal... and there are only 5 people sitting to our table. Once you are done and go to pay you end up having to wait out in the lobby for another 20 minutes to pay for your meal because their take out line gets priority. It’s ridiculous!!!! When you have a meal in the dining room you should be able to pay at your table. This restaurant is EXTREMELY disorganized!!! The service sucks and that makes the food not worth the trouble. Do better PKs!!! You’re getting a terrible reputation over things you can solve.

I'd give PK'S 1 out 10 for food and 2 out of 10 for service the lady that owns PK'S is extremely rude I would not recommend dining at PK'S.

Not too many places open today in Bonavista today but we were glad that P K's was open. The fish and chips was great as well as their fried chicken. We were full when we left and still had left overs.

Ok, I love fried chicken, I mean, who doesn't... The chicken here is the best I've had in years. It checks all the boxes; tender, juicy, tasty and crispy.

We had soup and burgers for lunch. The soup was absolutely amazing, it was probably the best I've eaten at a restaurant. The burger was equally good, and I was impressed with the warm service as well.

They literally forgot to bring my mother's meal for the entire time we were here. The waitress never came back to our table. Another waitress came back after we finished eating and bad mouthed the other waitress. Food was okay at best. I won't be back

Extremely disappointing. Waited an hour for a burger and fries. Fries lacked salt and were undercooked. Burger was cold. This would have been forgivable if we were informed about the hour-long wait.

Our orders were messed up a couple of times. My meal was cold and in my mozza sticks the cheese wasn't even melted. My sister's poutine was so cold the cheese didn't melt. My mom ordered mashed potato, got fries which were, you guessed it, cold. This was after waiting over an hour so we just ate a few bites and went on our way, fearing that sending stuff back would just take even more out of our vacation time. We never got the soup we ordered as a starter, so instead we got it and the homemade rolls to go. The soup was fine when we reheated it that evening, but the rolls were yeasty and doughy. Our server was nice, the workers were nice, but the food was ok at best. We stopped up the road at a gas station and got a coffee and a bag of chips. Also, there were only two other occupied tables (6 diners in total besides our group of 4) and it was mid-afternoon, so not peak time.

We stayed for a weekend in Bonnavista at Annie's Landing during Covid-19 pandemic & are most every meal at PKs restaurant. They were fantastic! They even came in early so we could have breakfast! Super crowd there!!! Also had pizza delivered, and it has to be the best pizza we ever had! So many thanks to pk, you guys are AWESOME! ❤❤ Kaitlyn & Brenda

Will never go back here again. Only 4 people at our table. We ordered chicken and chips, chicken fingers and fries, and 2 clubhouse and fries with drinks. Had to ask for our drinks, then when the food came out they forgot one clubhouse and fries and took a half an hour. The staff was not friendly at all. When we went to pay we were told that the debit machine wasn't working. Was told by another customer that "this was not unusual".

Over priced fish and chips. Portions of fish were much smaller than the average size of fish found elsewhere. Service was nice though. Locals were enjoying the pea soup and homemade buns. Try those instead. Don't order the fish and chips. Atmosphere is dated from the late 70's.

Very slow, we waited over an hour for our food. Drinks took over an 30 minutes, and we didn’t even get the right ones. Dirty tables sat the entire time we were there. Waitress never even came to check in or ask if we wanted more water. Would not recommend.
