Mista had been my hangout for more than a year and I know the staff personally. They are very friendly and open to discussion, including the weird kinds of topics I've been entertaining then with, both sober and non-sober. The food is both fantastic and innovative, taking the best from Italian tradition and modern invention. The music is relaxing yet energetic, a contrast also reflected in the atmosphere. The service is also excellent. Overall I highly recommend Le Mista. I recommend to anyone who wants to get to know some amazing people to come and sit at the bar for a chat.

Food is good but not excellent. Portions are too big and too many flavors mixed together. My pasta were undercooked just as the pizza we ordered. The pizza is not wood oven baked. The pasta are homemade and taste very good. I would have rather liked a smaller and better cooked crust for my pizza and less complicated taste for the pasta. Close to being excellent, but not there yet. Staff is also very young.

Terrible food! Got the carbonara pasta tasted like milk. The lucia pasta wasn’t good either. Maybe if they brought parmesan for our pasta it would’ve tasted better. Waited 1hr 45 min for our food for it to taste bland and our pizza was raw. 2 stars for the friendly staff and for giving us free hot shots for the raw pizza????. If you like authentic Italian food don’t go here.

The two of us ate dinner there last night. The food portions were enormous. The quality excellent. The service was impeccable. The ambiance was very enjoyable. I had ceasar salad, Ricci pasta topped off with a wonderful cannoli. We followed the wonderful meal with a waterfront walk in Vieux Beloeil. Can’t wait to go back.

I went here 5 years ago and thought about it ever since. très beau restaurant, a gem in beloeil. I started learning French just to come back but many there speak better English than my French anyway. Last night the food was as good as I remember and better. Fantastic blend of authentic Italian flavours meshed with modern French/Québécois techniques and culture. If you are in Montréal or anywhere make the drive, you won't be disappointed.
