I do believe that this is probably one of the best if not the best place to go for sushi in Belleville. The ingredients are fresh and flavourful, the service is quick, and the kitchen space is well maintained/clean looking. Though I have only done take away/carry out from here, I've found their speed of service to be phenomenal. Also, if you are looking for ramen, chop sticks, chips, and other Japanese and Korean imports, they have those available near the cash.

Had dinner at Chef Box tonight. We ate in the restaurant. The food was fresh and delicious. All of the sauces and the salad dressing were made in store. They must have had a long list of takeout orders. There were three people cooking in the open concept kitchen and they never slowed down. I love how clean the whole restaurant is. The staff is very polite and friendly. They didn't have a problem when my husband asked for extra hot sauce on his rice bowl and I asked for no sauce on my bento box. This was our second time eating here and our experience has been top notch both times. We will be back.

Costumer service on the phone with whoever was hired to take orders is horrible. Doesn’t say hello, just “mhm”. Can barely hear, and has no communication ability whatsoever. It’ll take awhile to order from them again. Maybe when they get a better hostess.

Used to be good Bulgogi Beef. It's terrible now. Hardly any sauce, less meat and crammed full of onions to make up the difference Terrible.

Fresh delicious sushi, best sushi ever! ???? ???? Hard to find ingredients like mirin and Japanese mayo, miso paste can be found here. They had many different types of noodles ???? I plan on trying them all. Will be back again! HIGHLY recommended place! You have got to try this place out you will not be disappointed I promise!

Absolutely amazing. We ordered the bulgogi soup, spicy California , and dynamite rolls. The sushi was super fresh and is excellent value for the price. The bulgogi soup was next level. By far the best I have ever had and portion size is huge. Owner and staff are very friendly. Will be back soon!

Very impressed! Our first time was yesterday. Such well cooked, flavourful food! The 'Open Kitchen' thing is important to us, as we've watched one too many Gordon Ramsay horror shows about kitchen nightmares. The premises of Chef Box and the Kitchen area is clean and well-maintained. So great to see. The Teriyaki sauce (as well as their dressings) are made on site and are VERY unique and extremely tasty! We're going to tell everyone in our church about these guys. Shawn is friendly and took the time to ask how we enjoyed our food and chat about life in Belleville. Awesome folks here!

My boyfriend and I have been to chef box twice now, once was when they first opened and the second fairly recently, both times have been amazing, the food is fresh and tasty, plus it's nice and hot when you get it My personal favourite is the spicy rice cakes (tteokbokki) and my other would have to be the bulgogi! It's amazing here and the staff are always so pleasant! Will definitely be making a trip there soon

Good price for sushi. No tuna and limited selection. Quality is good though. Would rate higher if they had more options. Bi Bim bap is not dolsot either. Better than all you can eat but not quite as good as Toro or kumo

My sister took me here to try some lunch. I couldn't believe how fresh my Salmon Sashimi was. The portions are so generous here! My red dragon roll was twice the size of other rolls in the Quinte area. The price was great! Will be back.

If you like Japanese and Korean food, this place is fantastic. Sushi is freshest in town by a long way and the prices are very good (Though changing as of Feb 2020). The Bento boxes are your best deal and you really can't do wrong with anything on the menu. Just know what you're ordering without being ignorant like some people reviewing this place have been. It's great Asian food and a staple of mine.

The most legitimate sushi joint in the area. The owner/head chef here makes proper and authentic sushi. The quality of sushi at Chef Box is comparable to Nami located on Adelaide St. in downtown Toronto for only a fraction of the price. If your definition of sushi is one filled to the brim with rice and topped with thin slivers of barely thawed fish at AYCE joints, give Chef Box a try and you will likely be saying your farewells to Aji Sai and Dragon Rolls.
