Wow. One of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever experienced. I’m still reeling from it a couple days later. We were originally pretty stoked to stop at this lake joint on our way home. We got there are the hours on the door, Google, and their website were all different. The bartender shrugged at this and struggled to remember that they’re open until 9pm on Sundays. We got there at 7:20. We sat ourselves on the deck, taking a dirty table because that was all that was available. No one ever cleaned our table for us. The servers openly ignore us… go out of their way to not look at us. Twenty minutes in the bartender realizes we have not been given a menu gets us drinks, and takes our order. There were two versions of the menu, and we had to guess which one was current. The beers were mislabeled on the drink menu, wrong countries, types, etc. (five minutes of Googling would fix that). The server half-heartedly checks in to see if we’ve been helped 50 MINUTES after we sit down. First contact with server. We then sit for an hour waiting for our food. The place is not busy. No one checks in with us once during this time. We were convinced that the food wasn’t coming. At 8:40 the cook brings out our food. We have to ask for utensils. This takes another 10 minutes, after which the server brings us four forks wrapped in a napkin and reluctantly asks if we want another round of drinks. Lol. The food was mediocre. The Ukrainian nachos sucked and did not come with sour cream, salsa, or anything else. My cheesesteak was fine, but came with no condiments. Salad was not good. We had to get up and get our own ketchup and other condiments from the uncleared tables around us. My partner did enjoy the fish and chips, but any food positives are erased by the abominable and borderline hostile service. I can’t believe they didn’t offer to comp our meal. What a disaster of a business. We ran out of there just after 9pm.
