Discovered (after I’d arrived! lol in about 1979) that I wasn’t well equipped for the rigours of tenting, cooking, etc., in the heat during the day, occasional rain, cool temps at night. Come well prepared! (I’m assuming nothing’s changed all that much, right?! Wonderful private place, in relation to the outside world! But music playing for hours and lots of people on site.

Great place, but the signage for the festival could be better. Impossible to find the exit unless you have the map or ask someone who knows. The only sign we saw was NO EXIT at the entrance gate.

One of best Metis gatherings celebrating Metis history and culture with folks attending from all over Canada. I especially love the camp to camp visiting, sharing music over a campfire, meeting new people. The annual festivities is definitely worth a visit.
