They should advertise that they are a coffee place, they have a nice coffee shop in the back. Only place in town that's not a big chain, and it's a perfect spot. Update: I've since been back several times and had food, as well as coffee, and it's all been excellent. I'm so happy this place exists, there aren't many choices in Bathurst.

Nice restaurant well located with good restaurant prices but with 'snack bar' food. Seriously disappointed. How can you get too much leather on the raised sides? So much that it was dry like beef jerkey. My colleague chose a seafood rice. Cane rice with 2-3 frozen shrimps and 2-3 frozen scallops with pre-cooked grocery sauce. In short, first and last time. This is an honest review, nothing more nothing less. (Original) Très bon service,serveuse gentille et serviable. Maintenant pour la nourriture un gros zéro, des produits de piètres qualités a des prix beaucoup trop élévés! Un attrape touriste a son meilleur. Beau restaurant bien situé avec des prix de bon restaurant mais avec de la nourriture de 'snack bar'.Sérieusement déçu. Comment peux t'on trop cuir des côtés levées???? tellement qu'elle était sec comme du 'beef jerkey'. Ma collègue a choisi un riz au fruit de mer. Un riz 'en canne' avec 2-3 crevettes congelées et 2-3 pétoncles congelées avec une sauce préfaite d'épicerie. Bref 1ere et dernière fois. Ceci est une critique honnête,rien de plus rien de moins.

Restaurant has a great view of the waterfront and has outdoor patio. Service was attentive, but our lunch was not very flavourful and the price was a bit expensive for the serving size. Maybe dinner menu is better.

Oven was broken when we visited so the menu was restricted, what we ordered was served quick and was nicely presented. Little pricey for Bathurst but the seem to be focused on tourists.

I had a crab and lobster sandwich on a pretzel loaf, which was not at all crisp like what you would expect, and the sweet potato fries were cold. If it had not been for that, I would not have hesitated to give the 5 stars. On the other hand I found the prices reasonable contrary to some other reviews. (Original) Endroit exceptionnel, on peut manger dehors sur la terrasse au bord de l'eau. Serveuse gentille et courtoise. Le manger par contre est la raison pour laquelle je ne donne pas les 5 étoiles, malgré que le potentiel est la. J'ai pris une sandwich au crabe et homard sur un pain pretzel, lequel n'était pas du tout croustillant comme ce à quoi on s'attendrait, et les frites de patates douces étaient froides. Si ce n'avait pas été de cela, je n'aurais pas hésité de donner les 5 étoiles. J'ai par contre trouvé les prix raisonnable contrairement à certains autres commentaires.

August 2018 Very good overall, yet the service is odd at best. Very inconsistent from one server to another. Also a lot of kids that seems to be working there but not really employees... weird. but the food is really good! ******************************************************************* May 30th, 2019 I'd like to revise my rating from 4 to 4.25 here. the first time I was there was an odd experience but I've been there many time since and I may have been a bit harsh the first time and didn't offer advices to improve. Since my last rating I have been there many time, including with colleagues and clients. I had had pleasure to enjoy both the terrace and the upstairs section. I haven't seen any kids around and the servers were always very professional. Over and above service? Well I'd say yes as twice they've helped me to find an electrical outlet to plug my computer and refilled my coffee as I worked without me having to ask. Once I was the very last client there on a slow night and they never pressured me to leave so they can close so I was able to meet a deadline without interruption. It was very much appreciated and reflected in the tip but I think it should be shared publicly also. Words of advise for free as I care for your success and it is shared in the kindest and most respectful way: Go easy on the sauce in some of the dishes (Pad Thai particularly) and be careful of pre-made sauces from your food distributors as they may not really represent the taste they're supposed to represent. On this same note, be aware that perhaps the local crowd may accept, even enjoy, the dishes you present as they are good and appealing, however many has travelled and lived outside of Chaleur region and has tasted actual international cuisine. It can be a bit of a shock when we're presented a dish that doesn't resemble, or taste what is expected. (It is good! but not what's expected) ...I'm all for bringing world cuisine to NB and of course I encourage culinary experimentation, however culinary integrity is important for restoration credibility. When it doubt, use "Asian Fusion Noodles". Last thing, invest a bit in the menu you present to your client. The current ones look and feel cheap (think old school road side garage/restaurent) and brings down the first impression/experience. This is not how your restaurent is or should be positioned and the details are important in this business. your menu brings down your brand. As a customer and based on everything else, I'd be willing to pay 1$-2$ more per dish just to be presented with a quality menu and has the same flair and panache as some of your other features The difference in price would more than cover the extra cost and time it takes to keep it up to date. I hope I was not too harsh and this can help you reflect on your branding and client experience. Kindest regards and best of luck. You have a gem of a restaurent and location!
