Like myself at first, if you're not expecting to find great Asian cuisine in Bathurst, you're wrong. Generous portion sizes of tasty food, all for a very reasonable price. Highly recommend the Schezuan stir-fry and Singapore Noodle. Mai's is fantastic - as is the manager - and will certainly visit again!

I usually do not go for Pho, since it is not served with its traditional accompaniments of closed beans, basil and long coriander (mùi tàu). However the other dishes are delicious and are very popular with the locals. (Original) Excellent resto vietnamien, à ma connaissance le seul dans le Nord de la province. Je n'y vais habituellement pas pour le Pho, puisqu'il n'est pas servi avec ses accompagnements traditionnels de fèves fermées, basilic et coriandre longue (mùi tàu). Cependant les autres plats sont délicieux et sont très prisés par les habitants de la région.

The City of Bathurst is so lucky to have such a wonderful restaurant such as Mai"s. The food that is created there is so delicious and memorable! This restaurant is a GEM and I highly recommend all of the dishes both Chinese and Thai . There Pad Thai is to die for and their special Wong Tong makes my mouth water just thinking about it! Their stir fries are awesome and I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who want an Asian food experience. Thumbs up to the staff and kitchen staff, well done folks, we are proud to have you here in our community!

The "waiter" is dragging his feet, he sits in the dining room and goes to his laptop while the tables are not being cleaned. The cook had to come out to serve the customers. We eat here at least twice a month. For me, it's my favorite. Good food, reasonably priced, nice portions, wonderful staff, fast service. If ordering take out, everything is exactly what you ordered. I expected a lot more for the price. I’m from Toronto and you get more there in a portion size than you do at this restaurant. I ordered Combo #6 and it came to $25! The price used to be $14.95 3 years ago. All I got was a square sized styrofoam containers worth of food and not plentiful as I’m used to in Toronto. Look up Ali Baba’s and you’ll see the price difference and they piled on the food. Would not recommend.
