Drove up from Moncton to do some hiking and were in need of a nice place to eat. After doing some digging, we found Joey's and figured it would be a nice spot to fill our stomachs. We were right! The owner was very caring and went out of his way to find the best seat possible for our group. Even though it was busy, he found the time to chit chat with us about our adventures and was very accommodating. Will definitely be back the next time I'm in Bathurst!

Joey's Pub is the place for good food and drinks with family and friends. Atmosphere is great, food is always delicious and you get large/full plates. Many local beers on tap. Friendly staff that remembers you and are always happy to serve you.

The food was amazing and the price was just as good. But unfortunately it seemed a little understaffed and we waited about 15 mins before being served and close to 20-30 mins to get our drinks. Granted it was rather busy durring wing night but the staff seemed stretched out to thin for the amount of people in the resturant. The mrs. and I will definitely be back and would recommend Joey's Pub. They just need a few more people on staff.

What a great night. Staff were all dressed up for Halloween and the atmosphere was fantastic. Our server was probably one of the best I've had in quite some time. He was so friendly, engaging and authentic. Highly recommend Joey's. Wings for an appetizer, Four Rivers Beer and the Brunswick Burger- perfect meal. Can't wait to go back.

When the parking lot of a Pub/Eatery is full it normally an indication its supported by locals and recommended to travelers. A cozy inertia with a bar area surrounded with ample tables and booths. Friendly staff. The menu is typical for a bar burger, fry's, wings etc., and some house specials. A good selections of local NB micro breweries making it reason for return visits.

Was in town for a soccer tournament. The service was good, the food even better. I had the Buddha Bowl and was pleasantly surprised. Everyone else at the table loved the food they got as well. I'd visit this again. Was recommended to me by family and i recommend it too.

Bad bar food. Great staff But for 150$, 3 people. That's unacceptable. Is anything made in house anymore? Fish from anywhere but the Atlantic. Jesus, the white wine not even drank. Anywho, good luck but I cannot in good conscience even spend a hard earned dollar there in these hard times. The service was kind. EDIT: as I received my visa bill, it's 170$ and I tipped 15% I usually do 20 and more. Zero fresh food there. Lol, the fish and chip was the same type as in elementary you know, little rectangle fish stick. Yeah, that's what came but just God awful taste, and ZERO crisp as they don't make their own batter. The whole thing was whipped into the frier from being frozen pre-pandemic is what it tasted like.

I love to love the lobster wrapped in salmon over wine sauce. Least liked the salad. Try the fried pickle as a starter but ask for a hot sauce for the side! Worse damn service I've EVER experienced! The food was delicious don't get me wrong, it's that purple lipstick, hippie looking waiteress! She took one look at me and my friend and decided we were not worth her time because we didn't look like princesses. She ignored us, she didn't even came to ask our drinks until 20 min after we were seated. Our entrees only came 20 min after that and she never gave us utensils and she never asked if we needed refills even tho our glasses were on the edge of the table, empty. We had to go get out utensils ourselves and had to call her at our table for refills, which she forgot. She came to ask if we were okay 10 min after that and we had to ask AGAIN for those refills which she admitted she completely forgot. The table next to us had 2 groups eating and leaving before we had our main course in front of us. When she saw she wasn't getting a tip, she threw our receipts on the table and left on a rage! We are NOT costumers of lesser value, just because we don't look rich and skinny! This is absolute discrimination and would need to be dealt with!!!

Atmosphere here is upscale casual, which was nice. Menu selection was good, including a diverse beer menu ( including local beer!). Unfortunately my partner and I waited FAR too long for our meals (upwards of 30-40 mins). Seeing a party of 7 people who came in after us be served, fed, and receive their cheque before we got our meals was very frustrating, especially since the restaurant had become less busy since our arrival. Good thing the food was tasty....

First of all their menu on Facebook has not been updated. It does not cover what they serve now. We arrived and were told to go to the tent. In the tent are picnic tables and 2 tables with chairs. One seats 2 and the other 4. I am very short and therefore the table went to my shoulders. When the server came out we asked why had they had not opened inside. She said and I quote " that's the way we chose to do things, this way we don't have to wear a mask." I said that the chairs were not adequate outdoors and that I was short (5 feet). She said "so am I". Once we looked the menu over we realised it didn't have half of what was listed online. We left, first because we didn't like the servers answers and found her "above her station", and second because they had not adjusted their menu to reflect the times.

Great selection (12+) craft beer from Picaroons a Fredericton based brewery. I had the fried clams and chips. The clams were large and delicious and chips crisp. They also had a lobster stuffed salmon I will need to order if I'm ever back in town. Waitress seemed new so a couple of hiccups but nothing serious and she made a good effort. Decor is good except the strings of red xmas lights should go.

Real Time Recoveries

This place is a definite must stop and eat. Every time we've eaten here everybody (6-8 adults) had absolutely loved every dish we've tried. Do yourself a favour and make this a destination if you're going to be in the Bathurst area. Oh and Cindy was an amazing server.

Good food at reasonable prices. But the sounds level is close to deafening! We had our good packed to go as a result. BTW, you will have to have a sharp eye to find it as letters on sign in front are too small to notice.
