Great idea for a restaurant, all the premade food was amazing. The raw food you cook yourself was perfectly marinated and tasted amazing. There is only 1 thing that could be done better and that is more of a selection of seasoning and sauces to use but the meat by its self tasted so good I'm not even bothered by that. Definitely will be back

Fantastic place hidden away in downtown Barrie! The lamb is amazing and so is the pork sausage. It's small but that's the only downside I can think of. Do yourself a favour and come hungry.

This is not korean style. It’s too much artificial taste and grilled is weak so that It is waste time for cook service time 1.5hr. Lettuce is already changed colour to a little bit brown. Too much MSG. But service is not bad.

Awesome service, great selection of food, great prices. We used to go to Markham for kbbq but this place is better and in Barrie! The all-you-can-eat menu isn't just meat, there's appetizers (like dumplings and lemon chicken), soups, and ice cream. It comes with a plate of veggies and includes premium items like shrimp. The food comes out in literally 5 minutes and they're open pretty late. Only suggestion would be to add bubble tea. Loved it.

One of the best places to eat in the city, recommended to any and all who are looking for a great and unique experience with Korean bbq where you can cook your own food on a grill in the middle of your table while you sit with your friends and chat. Great time.

Love this place it is a bit run down looking but the food an the atmosphere are fun you get to cook your own food an there are some decent options but not a lot of banchan the options aren't as great as Korean bbq I've seen in other places but it's still good an ok.i would go there again the people there are very nice an attentive.

If you want to waste your money, go to this restaurant. This is absolutely not a Korean style restaurant. Nothing is same as other Korean restaurants and the meat quality was bad, seasoned meat was too salty, Kimchi was too salty as well. Tea was not on the menu but they charged us for it. It was the worst experience at the restaurant in Barrie. It was our first and last time to visit there. They should replace the name with just "BBQ restaurant". DO NOT USE "KOREAN STYLE".

The staff working in the bakery department at this longos are fantastic! I ordered a strawberry shortcake (the best cake ever!) for my daughter's baptism, and although I love how the SC is usually decorated, I wanted something suitable for a baptism event. The staff said they could add a sugar cross to any design I wanted, and I found a pink and white glittery cake with cute pink roses in the display case, and I asked them to do that kind of design on a rectangular 1/4 slab with a cross on it. It came out beautifully and tasted incredible!! It's lighter and fluffier than most SC elsewhere, and tastes amazing!! I had also ordered an Oreo cookie cake for my husband's birthday and it was also amazing with delicious frosting and fluffy chocolate and vanilla layers of cake. I wanted to thank the staff that made them, and for their overall incredible customer service over the phone, in person and with the final products. I highly recommend them to anyone who enjoys delicious cakes and likes great customer service!

My colleagues and I went for lunch and really enjoyed it. I liked the marinade for the meats; the beef was especially good. Even for a first time visit, it was straight forward. The service was excellent, fast, accurate, and not over-bearing. I have no complaints, if I were to change anything it would only be the chop sticks - they're plastic so they're very slippery but we managed! I'll definitely be bringing my out of town friends here!

Our family lived in South Korea from 2010 - 2013...so we were quite excited to hear that a Korean BBQ place had opened up in Barrie. We took our daughter there last night for her birthday and the seven of us loved it! We stuffed ourselves and left knowing we'd be back soon! Everything tasted so authentic. The staff was very friendly - to the point that when it came time to pay, our server inquired whether or not my parents were seniors and because they were, she gave us a 10% discount for their meals. The staff were also very quick to replace any main course meats and side dishes that we requested. Highly recommend this restaurant!! So good!!

The grilled meats are excellent and well seasoned. Service was prompt and overall food was delicious and a cool experience. If you've never been to Korean bbq you should definitely check this place out. The only thing i would fault is the lack of traditional side dishes like the bean sprouts and pickled radish. They did have Kimchi though so thank goodness for that.

Our go-to Korean BBQ Restaurant in Barrie! My wife and I love coming here as we always enjoy the service and food. Dinner and lunch selections are different - you get more selections in dinner. You cook your own meat/veggies, eat them along with your side dishes (Kimchi, bean sprouts, etc.) and either side of soup or rice. They also have hot foods available if you don't trust yourself cooking the raw meat. I definitely recommend this to anyone!

We hadn’t had Korean barbecue in ages so when this place open snip we were beyond excited! It is a nice quiet place with quaint decor. The food was quick to arrive at the table and our servers were very smiley. The alcoholic shot my partner ordered was forgotten in the order, but our food and other drinks were on point. I feel the server could have instructed us a little more thoroughly about use of the barbecue, tho it was very clean and in good repairs. I’ve seen dividers offers for the barbecue top to keep meat and vegan dishes separate in other locations of this style; perhaps there is a future for those here. Also, the music, tho pleasant and upbeat, I appreciate the lack of repetitive top 40 tho. Will definitely be back.

Tian YAAAASSS please!! Holy moly, this place is a GEM. My brother and I went on a whim because we have been meaning to try a Koren BBQ for some time and remembered in passing this was opened. We went and were not sure what to expect but MAN we were NOT disappointed at all. Such a cool dining experience and way to experience with friends and family. The staff were kind and helped us understand the grill and such as we were complete newbies. This would be a great date-night for couples or grab some close friends and grab something to eat! 12/10 will come again, and again and again. ????

Everyone enjoyed their meal. The food is marinated and thinly sliced. It cooks up quickly. Appetizers (Chinese food) are all precooked and you can eat immediately. I think everything but the 'meat,' 'seafood' and 'vegetable' sections comes precooked. We ordered everything at once, and it came out really quickly. Next time I might order appetizers first, and the meat second. Also, whatever you wear will smell like you cooked meat in it. Here are photos of the order sheet. Mine got a little wet, sorry. Lunch on one side, dinner on the other.

This is the only Korean BBQ venue (I've gone to at least 4 other ones in the GTA), where the grills used are electric. The other ones I've been to have had either natural gas or charcoal, so the cooking of the food does not appear to be as even at this venue. My family and I have gone to this venue twice now. This appears to be the only Korean BBQ grill in the area

Food was good! However, we made a reservation and they still had us wait 30minutes to be seated and didn’t write our reservation down. There was a dog in the restaurant barking (customers dog) and staff did not enforce the mask policy or social distancing to the large group that took up three tables and were constantly walking around the restaurant (very small dining area which I why I felt so concerned) or in the restroom. They also left the restaurant without their masks on and not once were they spoken to by staff. But if you don’t care about safe dining indoors during a pandemic, it’s a great place to eat.

Good fun night out. Very good variety for price. Meat seasoned so nicely. Server was very helpful and very quick to take away used plates and offer more menu options. Never done Korean bbq before so was good night out for boyfriend and I. We had a lot of fun cooking our own food which made us not mind waiting on food to cook. Tip to beginners is cool veggies first and rub onion along grill to start so meat doesn’t stick. Only complaints being bathrooms could have been cleaner and not enough napkins provided. Would 100% be returning though. Give it a try!

Plus being able to Watch your food cook and hearing the sizzle was super satisfying. If there was one thing g I would do is make the chairs more comfortable. Just a personal opinion though. Went for the first time with my family today. We have eaten at this type of place before. Food was OK, the sauce on the meat was basically the same on every type of meat and very salty. The lamb was very nice, the beef OK, the chicken was chopped into little pieces, I'm guessing so it cooked quicker on the grill. Service was good. The grills are electric and not quick to cook, as another poster mentioned the gas ones at other places are very quick. The starters and food ordered from the kitchen were very good. The atmosphere was OK, it soon got filled with folks, they played 'Christian' rock music which got a bit repetitive after a while. Wasn't the worst place I've eaten, not sure if we'd rush back, tab came to 133.00 for 2 adults 2 teenagers and a 6 year old. We had 1 beer 1 wine and pops.

If you like meat, rice and spring rolls, this is your place. The entertainment of cooking your own meat in a table mounted bbq is the glazing on the donut. All you can eat meat heaven. It's all so delicious. Staff were always quick test refill drinks and food orders. Even gave a quick demo on how to use the grill.

A small kbbq place but its perfect for satisfying the need for meat. Fast service ,polite staff and friendly environment. Try the meat with the brown powder provided at the table that dosnt smell like anything, it adds a nice sweetness to the bbq meat. They dont rush you here which is really nice, slightly expensive for a smaller menu compared to other larger kbbq places. But its perfectly fine as its the only kbbq place in the barrie area, other than driving to vaughan. Ive gone here several times and its been satisfying everytime, never been disappointed.

It was our first time here. Their meat was old and the sashimi wasn’t fresh at all. The only food that we can eat was beef ribs, but they refused to serve us more beef ribs because they want us to finish everything on the table first. We were really disappointed. They are the same price with Sakana House and Diamonds Sushi, but the quality is really bad compared to those places. NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE

I go here alllll the time with my teen daughter. The value and service are beyond amazing. Great healthy fresh food ~ and TONS of it. Besides for being able to grill your own food - the one price all-you-can-eat menu ALSO includes already made dishes like sweet and sour pork.... and many more. AMAZING place that keeps me coming back since they opened ~ going there in 2 hours in fact. And to grill the food it's as simple as throwing it on the grill.

Comparable to Toronto Korean BBQ. Electric grill is just as fast, the meal is meant to be for slow with conversation. Very enjoyable marinades, a variety of meat and vegetables. Dim sum, Chinese and korean sides available. Hot Sake and Saporo are the ticket. Perfect for dates, groups of friends and families. My children loved grilling! Thank you for a lovely evening.

I came here for the good review. But the experience was terrible. Food was mediocre. Service was bad. The electric bbq grill broke down and dark smoke came from it during our diner! AND there was no apology... They were also reluctant to change our deeply charred grill plate during the dinner.

Amazing food! I came here twice and I enjoyed both times here. The food is amazing, it’s flavourful and diverse. I think this is more Chinese style than Japanese style, but I like them anyway! It’s all you can eat food with the price about 25$ per person. It’s a good price for all you can eat food! It’s quite smelly because of all the bbq stuff so I suggest that you should not wear anything fancy! The services is amazing everyone is friendly here and don’t be shy to ask them for more food! They will be more than happy to do so

Its decent Korean bbq. It uses electric grills rather than gas, so you dont get that grill taste. Sushi varies, it could be good or it could be hard rice. There is alot of variety when it comes to vegetables and sides.

The only Korean BBQ place in Barrie or Simcoe County for that matter. This is a family run restaurant that has excellent service and good quality food. The concept is you are brought marinated meat (beef, lamb, fish, chicken) and vegetables and you grill this as your table. They have an all you can eat price that includes soups, appetizers, mains and dessert. Excellent value for money. Especially on weekday lunch.

Not what it’s all made out to be. I have been to Korean Grill in Toronto, which are thousand times better. Here you’re cooking on electric grill which takes twice as long, unsanitary not worth the money. Honestly if you want the true authentic, go to Toronto, so much better!!!! I do not recommend this and will never come back.

The grill, wasn’t good. The meats are extremely fatty and poor cuts. Was not instructed proper times, to cook Lamb and beef. Tasted very rare. Felt a little sick the entire evening after dinning. The sushi rolls are not made fresh, and we’re dry. It didn’t feel like authentic Korean experience and didn’t have value. Service was good but food was not. Was really excited to try this place and was let down.

Uses electric grills vs gas like at most places I've been too. The marinades are not overpowering. It's a good place for quantity. This place is better than some of the GTA joints as it also has hot food. Prices are reasonable.

I've never had a bad experience here and I've been. Lose to a dozen times now. Excellent food, fun to ring friends and family to, and the staff is top notch. Every comes out very quickly (appetizers like Kim Chi, soup, and chicken bites or dumplings). Your grillables and put on the table within minutes of ordering. Water is topped up meticulously and that goes very appreciated. Tables are available from 2-8 from what I've observed. Not expensive either for the great service and sheer amount of food offered.

We used to come here all the time when my husband (then boyfriend) lived in Barrie. We still try to go every once in a while even though we are further away now. The food and service is always excellent. The woman who runs the restaurant is very nice and she even gave us masks because we dropped the ones we came in with on the floor. My favorites are the beef and chicken BBQ.
