Amazing service! Everyone is so nice! It was our first time trying milestones, and we just moved to Barrie a couple months ago so not very familiar to the area. The hostess and waiter did their best to have 2 tables for us beside each other. Taylor was amazing and fun and really nice! Tended to us with such an amazing spirit that was perfect for our first patio of the year. This location will definitely be our new spot! Thanks so much for the amazing service and delicious food. Currently dreaming of that coconut calamari!

Food is always delicious but warm never hot. For Valentine they had a set menu. Chose the Asian chicken bits. Miami Ice(very much like a mojito byt fruitier) so refreshing. Ended with cheese cake with hazelnut sauce. Soooo heavenly, you will want seconds. Staff are so efficient and eager to please. I will definitely return. And earning scene points is a bonus.

I had the chuck burglar with candied Bacon, on a egg bun. The side was sweet potato fries. I absolutely enjoyed it! Waitresses were very pleasant and smiled a lot.

All I can say is wow! Wow! Wow! What an amazing dining experience we just had. I love to try many different foods. They put in the “split” option and all three meals came out on two plates. The food tasted delicious. Especially the fish taco, 1989 burger, and warm cookie. Taylor—-he was was above and beyond wonderful. And tori —she was super amazing as well. I can’t thank you guys enough, we had such a great night.

7pm on a Saturday night and near empty. Parking lot was full. Steak was meh. Garlic mash tasted dry and stale. Mill street organic was not cold and tasted stale. Repeat for dinner? Never. For lunch...the salads are good.

We went for my birthday today, lunch time service was slow my rustic chicken club was over cooked and burnt on one end. First time here and probably the last. We expected more from this restaurant. And tea my wife ordered was cool, how do you screw that up?

Went for lunch, fairly busy but they were following Covid rules very well, very clean and spacious restaurant! Host was super nice and server, Amanda, was friendly and efficient. We shared the calamari which is AMAZING, best calamari anywhere!! I had the Wednesday special portabello chicken....it was so delicious and huge portion, brought home half for my dinner!!! Will definitely come back again!

Surfside salad, Thai noodle bowl, Butternut squash ravioli, 1989 burger, Seafood Spaghettinie, WamBam Shrimp. They were extremely busy so service was a bit short however it was Rememberence Day - overall very, very good!

This Milestones is no good. Steak was way undercooked, plates had old food stuck all over the bottom and utensils and glasses were both spotty and nasty looking. Server disappeared after dropping off our food off so there no chance of returning my steak unless I wanted to flag someone down or walk to the kitchen myself. Haven't had an experience like that at any other milestones but will not ever be returning to this location.

I'm not a fan of this chain's overall quality, and this was one of the worst experience. The fried cauliflower was soggy and tasteless. There was not even salt in the batter. I had to drench it with the dip to add some flavour. The wam bam shrimp was again soggy and bland. The batter was so soaked in condensation it was disintegrating in the dish. The shrimp inside was fine. The lobster bisque has no lobster. There was 1 shrimp in the soup and some mysterious unidentifiable chewy bits. The flavour of the soup was good. I could even taste saffron. Considering how poorly executed the other items were, I was pleasantly surprised by that. Milestone.... Never fails to disappoint.

Today was my first time at the Barrie location in 8 years. I treated my gal pal to a birthday lunch on the patio. There was a wonderful breeze happening, brutally hot day, ee were sitting almost under the speaker, and the volume was perfect, and the genre was nice. No need to speak louder. The server we had was great, unfortunately didn't get a name, but she had long yellow nails. She was wonderful. Food was good. Definitely go back sooner than 8 years next time.

Dissapointed with the presentation of my meals so far... They have looked NOTHING like the pictures in the menu. However, the food is pretty good, and the prices are fair. Possibly an uncommon opinion, but I feel like the evening atmosphere is too bright. Take out a couple lightbulbs lol!

Raptors Finals Game 5 / Closed halfway through game. Came here to watch the raptors in the NBA Finals game 5 and upon sitting at the bar with 3 other people we were advised by the bartender that they would be closing before the game ended. Basically letting us know we would be kicked out during the middle of the game. This is a huge game all across Canada where every single bar in town was open and packed on a Monday night. Can’t believe Milestones would do such a thing. There was 4 of us willing to have dinner and drinks for the entirety of the game, which is roughly 3 hours, but instead decided to walk out and take our business elsewhere. The game ended right before midnight, so if they were closing at 11, they would only have had to stay an extra hour. What kind of bar establishment is going to kick people out and shut its doors right at the end of a huge game? I understand if their kitchen were to close, but they couldn’t have one bartender to serve a room full of people drinks? Ridiculous. Unless Milestones makes it up to me somehow I will never go or recommend to anyone again. Huge inconvenience and disappointment.

Had supper here. Both of us ordered Caesar salad with a protein (mine was chicken and friend was salmon). Chicken was flat and watery salmon was good but very small portion. The serving utensils I recieved had a knife that looked unwashed or just barely washed. On seating I asked the hostess what was the special. She tried to fumble through it but was not sure. Even thou she was one to give us the menus. Definitely not my first choice in the future.

Great table service. Their signature Belinini cocktail is to die for, (knowone can duplicated it). I come here often and frequently alone and with friends. Very cosy ambiant atmosphere where the sports bar TV is not loud and the center of attention. Amanda, our bar waitress was very knowledgable,funny, friendly and professional. She became part of the experience. The menus have changed slightly they now serve a weekend brunch menu. One big impressive point to remember is, if anything they serve is not up to scratch do speak up, they bend over backward to correct it . They want you to leave happy and return. Highly recommended .

Well I’ll only give two and half starts because of very unwelcoming behaviour at the front, the girls at front were not welcoming and straight up stay to leave kind a situation, told us they all table reserved if we like to sit we have to leave within hour. Well we walked-in and next reservation she told us in hour and half, i mean that’s fine if someone booked table but if people are walking in have zero priority. I was with kids and for younger one we have told two different staff members to arrange high chair, since girls in front kinda didn’t seems interested for listening at first. Well food was good and we have to skip starters and desert due to rushing of time limit given to us, because of service I might think twice to visit with family again at this location, I’ll rather go to different location for milestones (Newmarket) or so. If someone planning to go I’ll suggest to book table first else ready for......

Waited an hour and a half (wasn’t busy). Finally excited to eat and ordered their Mushroom Chicken Portobello dish which comes with the chicken, noddles, and seasonal veggies. I swap out the noddles for quinoa and waited. My Main dish finally comes and I get 2 fricken string beans and 3 slivers of red onion! Are you kidding me?! Is this a joke I thought?! Did they run out?! It’s only 8pm! I did wait an hour and a half! All these questions I asked myself as I sat there staring at my husband who ordered the same dish with the same results. So I asked our waitress if there was a mistake and she said no no that’s our standard serving. I can ask to bring you extra if you’d like. So my hubby and I said sure. Ok! She returns with another small bowl and inside was .... yup! You guessed it! A whopping 3 more string beans! Wake up Mikestones! Not acceptable! Your a family restaurant chain not a French fine dining restaurant. So disappointed. Thanks for the memorable date night! :(

Milestones is quickly becoming one of my fav chain restaurants in the area. It's just upscale enough that I feel like I'm in a trendier place than something like East Side Marios but not like I need to actually dress up to go there. The food quality is fabulous and of you have the opportunity, get the coconut mousse cake. It's like the best thing I've ever had, I want it as my friggin wedding cake!

The appetizers we ordered tasted good but were small for the price. Coconut calmari was 13 dollars but so small and the asian chicken bites were small too. The portion sizes should be bigger for the price. I found that the calamari was bigger before the renos. Interesting.

Ordered this from the Just Eat app and it was atrocious! My 'asian vegetables' were disgusting, swimming in grease it literally tasted like hot garbage! I gagged! The 'warm focaccia' bread was also soaked with grease and tasted like burger grease like it was tossed on a flat stove. Never ordering from this place ever again it was basically overpriced microwave meals. Iv'e had better microwave food and it was cheaper!

Haven't been to milestones in over 3 years. We wanted to try some new things. We had the tuna poke, I really enjoyed it but my wife had other thoughts about it. She had pasta, it was very spicy and she wasn't able to finish it. I had the surf n turf. I was expecting big shrimp... and I got these tiny pieces. Not worth the $$$$ my steak was excellent. Could of went to the keg. The dinner wasn't amazing and overall did not impress me. Anyways next time I'll stick to just steak.

Ordered a med well $35 new York. It came out rare. They took it back. It came out again on a tea saucer, I had to send it back again to have it put on a plate. Now I had my food on a plate and they had taken my cutlery. I used one of my coworkers cutlery and the steak was still rare. (still bloody). I went to culinary school. I know the difference between med rare and med well. This steak was very rare. They offered me other food but my coworkers had already finished, so I was not going to make them wait while I got new food and then ate it. They took "some" of the price off or the bill. For the price of food here compared to what I got, I would not go back. The waitress was very pleasant though.

Waited nearly 45 mins for our meal tonight. When my sirloin steak arrived, it came stone cold and blue ( I ordered medium rare). Took about 15 mins I went here several months back and experienced the same issue. Was hoping things would have changed but clearly they did not. Tons of other great restaurants in the area that offer better service and food. Spend your money elsewhere....

I called to make a reservation for 13 people in a few weeks and they would not let me. They only do reservations up to 8 people. They Told me to come the day of but they can't guarantee they can accomodate me...why would you not take my reservation for group of 13 people drinking and eating??

I was just here for the first time on a patio in months and was definitely disappointed. We sat down ordered appetizers at 5:50 and didn’t receive them until 6:25. Mains took 30+ minutes, drinks took minimum 10 mins even though the restaurant was empty. Everything took forever. From ordering food, drinks & even asking for the bill. When we ordered something by the time it got there we didn’t even want it anymore (bottle of wine, golden beets etc.) I get you all may be rusty from the lockdown but this experience is enough for me to never come here again. It’s absolutely ridiculous to want to go for a “quick bite” and not be able to leave for 2.5 hours. I’d find a different restaurant if I were you.

The service of the food took about 50mins to come once we placed our order. This is our 3rd time being at this location. The other visits would warrant the same star rating.

Amazing food, horrible service. I went a couple weeks ago (Saturday, September 8, 2018) at 8 pm to be exact. We felt completed rushed after our meal. I was with a group of 9 and it wasn’t too busy there. We had JUST finished eating and the server rushed over and said “do you need a machine” to my friend, then took off. I wanted to order dessert and wasn’t even asked... I had to ask a different server who walked by to bring a dessert menu. The other server came back and made everyone else pay around me as a ate. And as soon as I took my last bite the machine was set down infront of me. I regret tipping what I did. Such a shame, as the food was fantastic but my first experience there wasn’t a pleasant one at all.

Ordered 8 oz filet with crab and shrimp, Meat was way over cooked, small like half a hockey puck. Not worth 33 dollars. There was 5 beans and one small peice of pepper for veggies. Sever was nice but unfortunately she left the food at the pass/ pick up line way too long hence why my mashed potatoes were cold, which were suppose to be frys. Don't want to go there again. I came to this place after all patios opened, and I wish I could come earlier. The staff and the food, BOTH amazing. The staff are very young, but definitely know their stuff and how to treat customers very well. Tried the California Salad for first time here, and got me hooked! Lol. My only complaint was that the rice was undercooked, but overall I had a great time in this restaurant and I will be coming back any time soon!

I was in there tonight, served by Jeff in the lounge who was great! Introduced himself and took care of myself and my family although only having a 2 year old in the Lounge they still allowed us to dine there and brought us a dessert for the birthday. Hayden, who was the manager at the time constantly checked up on us , which made us feel extremely welcomed, it was greatly appreciated knowing a manager was constantly around if anything was needed. Thank you to Hayden, and Jeff for a great night, highly recommended. Staff are very friendly and food was great!

Chain restaurants aren’t my favourite but Milestones is in my view one of the best. We dropped in last Wednesday for dinner. The staff were pleasant and efficient, the room wasn’t unduly noisy and it turned out to be “date night” where from a limited prix fix menu two dine for $50. We shared a platter of crispy calamari, mains of steak-frites, followed by dessert. We like calamari and I’ve eaten it all over the world, including in one Michelin star and I have to say this calamari was as good as the Michelin star restaurant. The steak-frites and desert as good as any French bistro.

Best Burger I've had in a long time. Our server Brooke was excellent and quick for a group of seven . Place is fairly loud and busy inside but atmosphere was good. Over $20 with tax for a Burger and fries but i guess that is the norm now.

They have a really yummy gluten free chocolate ganache. I don't recommend their gluten free bun veggie burgers. Has a lot to be desired. Try their glazed salmon. That sounded good. I went there recently and had their veggie mushroom cap and that was delicious too. Service is always good from hostess all the way to bartender. Good ambiance. If it wasn't for the amazing server we had, I would give it a 1. We ordered our apps and drinks, and then were told that they had no steak. We were about to leave and the steaks arrived. They were cooked rare, no medium as aasked. Half of the steak was gristle. There was no loster in the lobster shrimp sauce, the spinach dip was spicy. Overall bad experience,. We won't be returning here again.

Let me name a few examples as I have the receipts: Crispy chicken sandwich before 15.20 now it’s 17.00 Crispy sweet chilli chicken was 16.75 now 19.75 Thai red curry bowl was 17.75 now 20.50 This is just to name a few and no this price hike wasn’t the “minimum wage increase hike” the before prices are after the January price increase. Rather disgusted to be honest.

I have to agree with some of the reviews here, we just came back from our 3rd visit there and I must say things have not improved, when we went the first 2 times it was close to when they opened so we figured that they're still getting things in order but after our 3rd visit with no improvements we are extremely disappointed. The prime rib had arrived lukewarm and the calamari was very soggy, I had also ordered a caesar which tasted like water and horseradish with a splash of tomato juice - I was surprised the waitress did not ask about it as she saw I did not touch it. We figured why complain since nothing has changed for the 3rd time that we had come here. Really is a shame since we had very pleasant experiences in other Milestone locations. Hopefully things will improve in the future, but I don't think we will be coming back to this location. 2 Stars because the place is nice inside and has good ambiance.

A nice bar and nice dining room as well asbout door seating Most of the time it is very good and if its not you should always mention to your server in a nice manner what your problem is. The atmosphere and service is typical for a milestones. We have eaten here before, but decided to try brunch this time. This was a mistake. Go for lunch, go for dinner, but definitely skip the brunch. We were underwhelmed. Husband had the breakfast tacos which were just ok, I had the eggs Benedict which were actually kind of bad. The hollandaise sauce didn't taste like hollandaise at all... Just butter. The English muffins were soggy. I also had the fruit bowl, which was not fresh, the fruit was soggy, and the strawberries had a strange fishy taste. Also felt that dosing the fruit bowl in powdered sugar was unnecessary.

To say the least, I will never go back into the milestones again. We had recently moved to Barrie and were looking for a nice Saturday evening out. We went into Milestones hoping for that & we got completely the opposite. Firstly, our waiter took about 10-15 minutes to get to us and took our drink & appetizer order down. When he came back for the main courses, we were ready. There were two tables across from us came after and got all their appetizers before we did. When our meal came, it was only the main course, he forgot our two apps that we originally wanted. He was busy chatting up with the other tables and never came around to ask how everything was. Overall, it was a really bad experience & I won't come back again to this location in Barrie.

I gave it a 4/5 three years back so has never been in my places to visit again and only went cause my wife wanted to. They have changed the menu a lot. We waited for 15 minutes before anyone even offered us water so that was not impressive. The menu is VERY limited I find, like seriously, how does this restaurant only have a max 8 ounce steak. Burgers are 5/5 mind you, except for the kids burger, I ended up eating part of what my kid left behind, was horrible...servers were good at times and not so good at times...

Sat on bar side and was politely greeted, got a table on the bar side right away. Our server Sydney served us two sangrias as they were on special, and delicious! My friend and I shared the bruschetta and both enjoyed delicious steak and chicken bowl. Sydney was friendly and very professional, she had the televisions changed to the leafs game for us and engaged in genuine conversation. Need more servers like that in Barrie! Will definitely be back.

My wife and I went to Milestone's last weekend to celebrate my birthday. This is a picture of my 8 oz. $27.50 grilled sirloin steak DINNER. Mind you, the steak was good ..... but ....where was the rest of the meal? I can't believe the chef would let a dinner like that out of the kitchen and that the server who delivered it didn''t notice it looked 'skimpy' with only 5 small green beans and a sliver of onion and red pepper..Oh, the silver dish held ketchup for the fries. We just sat and stared at it, not believing it - we HAD to take a picture of it!!! In hind sight I should have sent it back. We were disappointed to say the least. We will not be coming back.

Turn up the heat, it was absolutely freezing in this restaurant. We ordered a Greek chicken main, bang bang shrimp, grilled cheese, chicken fingers and tai chicken bites. The bill wes 85 dollers, no alcoholic drinks where ordered. It would be nice to enjoy the dining experience, but was too cold to sit comfortably. A little pricey for what we got. I mean the only item worth anything was the Greek main, the rest was bar food and kids menu items. Plus, when we went to pay for out meal with the Ultimate Food card, we where told it was not accepted there......huh. How about telling us before we order. The server was absolutely perfect, albeit if it was her duty to tell us about the card, well then. Id say next time, but don't think so.

I love the look, the bar looks great as does the seating. I found it very hard to choose anything to eat off the menu to be honest. If you're a vegetarian I think it's great otherwise it's a no no. Service was exceptionally poor. We were a table of 5 and we waiting a very long time to be served, a VERY long time. It's such a pity as tourist from the UK I was quite excited about my visit but was extremely disappointed.
