Gone in here a few times for my lunch, as I work in the same plaza. Everytime I am met with a friendly smiling face and good service. Their bacon cheeseburger and fries are amongst the best I have ever had. They have won me over, and I will continue to eat at Little D's!

I usually enjoy eating at the restaurant, except the last couple of times, the person that served us was very rude, also, you would think that she would dress more appropriate, in my personal opinion, I don't need to see all her nasty tattoos. You guys need to have a better selection of who you hire. The food is still great. Too bad I lose my appetite when I see who's waiting tables.

I ordered a take out of their Hungry Man breakfast, supposed to come with ham, bacon & sausage, when I get home open the package and there is no ham & sausage. Little D's has been my favorite place to go for breakfast in Barrie since they opened. The restaurant it's always very clean and well kept. The food is fantastic, perfectly done every time, the prices are reasonable and the staff are all pleasant. They've accommodated my small party of two, and they've also accommodated my large party of 8 to 12, with no hiccups. I can't say enough good things about it! This place makes you feel at home.

This place has a loyal following with good reason. Has some Greek choices which are particularly good. Excellent Greek salad as good as Theo's in Orillia.

Best food anywhere. Homemade in store and the prices are fantastic. Specials on weekdays. Fish (halibut or haddock) on Fridays, liver and onions on Thursday... you get the idea... come in and see the rest of the specials plus the entire menu. You'll be amazed. It'll be your new favorite place to go.

I honestly would rate lower if I could. I had the lumberjack breakfast the pancake tasted like it was pre-made and taken out of a freezer the eggs were cold and disgusting the homefries tastes like absolute garbage and I didn't know they have bacon flavored gum. yeah.... that chewy. The orange juice had a weird colour and tasted sour. I put ketchup on my homefries to try to choke them down so I didn't waste my money and it was sour too I paid them $22.33 for what? For them to make me throw up before I could even get back to my apartment literally steps away? This is unacceptable and I will not be back you can catch me at Linda's on Bayfield Street

Go here quite often for breakfast and the occasional lunch. Staff can be nice but often in a mood and a lot of regulars that don't like new people people around and stare at you which can be awkward, otherwise would give a full 5 stars. Yet, the foods always extremely delish :) the breakfast is always fresh and the homemade soups and sandwiches are to die for!

Food is great, best fries in town. The two people that work in the kitchen including the cook really need to wear their masks, though. Customers need to have them on, the people preparing the food need to as well until the mandates state otherwise. I feel bad for the waitresses that are properly wearing them only to accept food from a cook who isn't, makes ZERO sense.

I've tried this little restaurant a few times and it's always the same: terrible. The last time I was there the waitress asked how everything was, so I told her it wasn't very good, and she actually sneered at me and walked away! Never, ever will I go here again.

Little D's Family Restaurant is a great location for breakfast and lunch. There's a good selection of items on the menu including vegetarian options. It is a very Family friendly restaurant and is also wheelchair accessible with free parking and conveniently located close to shopping options on the Wellington plaza. Also close to public transit. The staff is very attentive and friendly. Seating is now available on a small patio and social distance protocols are in place.
