Long time fans of this place, we drove all the way from Gravenhurst to get some food and we were not disappointed! Jason and Josie (the owners) are AMAZING! The food tastes incredible, large portions, and comes out quick. We had the spin dip, pulled pork poutine, and vegetarian bulgogi sandwich. Our server was personable, attentive, and created a welcoming experience. Would definitely recommend for those looking for good grub and a publike atmosphere. Awesome selection of craft beer to boot! We will definitely be back.

This is the go-to restaurant for my husband and I. The service is always amazing, and they’ve got incredible vegan/vegetarian options. We’ve also gone with friends who have raved about their meat entrees. Mike, the head bartender is very knowledgeable about the beers on tap. My husband always gets a flight and asks for ‘dealers choice’ and has never been dissapointed.

(Translated) Delicious! It's a small truck but the food is great and the service efficient. I got the korean bbq bulgogi beef, juicy and spicy at the right point (thanks to the kimchi). To top it all off, the staff are delightful, helpful and fun. Highly recommended to try something different, and they also have vegetarian alternatives. (Original) Delizioso! All of the sandwiches on the menu are absolutely amazing. Its not your standard food truck. Paired with any beer from Sawdust City Brewery, unbeatable. A must try next time you're in Gravenhurst. Do yourself a favour, you've earned it.

You'll notice immediately how welcoming and warm the staff are. So nice to be greeted and serviced by such a wonderful group of people (girls). I had the Balgogi sandwich with the hand cut fries. GF had the Balgogi on egg noodles (Phillipino inspired). Both items highly enjoyable. If you are craving hand cut fries do not hesitate to have this as your side. They're that good. Appears to be some talent in the kitchen. Good craft beer selection; opted for the Canvas (Huntsville) offering. One recommendation regarding the menu, identify the location of the micro breweries and it would also be helpful to list the ABV and IBU of each.

Today, I happened upon Grillicious Gourmet Tap and Grill without knowing it or having seen a review. When I arrived, only one other person was in the restaurant - a cold and rainy Thursday evening, but early, only 5:30 so perhaps not surprising. I was greeted by Michael, a very amiable host and waiter. Throughout my meal, Michael was remarkably attentive, yet discreet and classy, unlike most waiters I have experienced recently, who invariably ask "how is that tasting today?" Michael didn't ask that ridiculous question, but rather engaged in intelligent conversation at the appropriate moments.

Went on a Friday night and it was pretty dead (maybe due to the craft beer and bbq festival). Service was quite slow for how few people were in the restaurant. Food was average to good quality but not worth how long it took (nearly two hours for two people from sitting down to cheque). The menu was interesting and my ice creme came with real chocolate drizzle. I don't think I'd return based on the slow service.

Great food and great service. We really enjoyed our night out at Grillicious, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. My only complaint is that the fried fish batter was soggy and pretty icky (did not adhere to the fish). The fish within was delicious and perfectly cooked however.

First time at Grillicious and believe me, it won't be our last! With so much variety down Dunlop Street, this hidden treasure right on the corner opposite Hooters is an absolute gem. The service: Heather was our server and she was incredibly attentive, extremely knowledgeable and very friendly to our 17 month old who was with us. Even got to meet the bartender Mackenzie and the owner/chef Josie who were both awesome as well. Simply friendly service from all the girls there. The food: Chef Josie told us that absolutely everything is homemade or sourced from local suppliers using her own recipes - right down to the hamburger buns and sauces...and you can certainly taste it! Everything that came out was spectacular and so tasty. My poutine with elk sausage was one of the best poutines I've had, the sausage was really tasty and spicy, the gravy was thick and plentiful but the fresh cut russet potato fries won the prize here. Next time, I'd love to try the food of Josie's home country, Indonesia, which they also serve here. The beer: It seems odd saying that somewhere has the best craft beer selection on Dunlop Street when the incredibly popular Flying Monkeys Craft Brewery is just a few doors down, but they've managed to curate a tap list that celebrates the best of Ontario craft. Collective Arts, GLB, Lake of Bays and many more are featured on tap here and with some Amsterdam beers coming soon, I've definitely found my Barrie watering hole. Don't do what I used to do and only get as far as Flying Monkeys when you walk down Dunlop, take a few extra steps to Grillicious and you will not be disappointed!

Yeah Barrie we have a big people place to eat downtown that is fun!! I went to Google reviews to see if this were a place we (as grown up professionals) would enjoy on a cold February Saturday night! From the minute we walked in the Owner and staff were attentive and eager to please. The ambiance is all new and very comfortable. The band was enjoyable and the perfect volume. I can see that in the summer this will be a great open air place for music and even dancing. The quality of the food was a pleasant surprise as we primarily were there for an evening out. The soup, an apple carrot delight ,both fresh and homemade came with two pieces of perfectly seasoned (not soaked in butter) garlic bread. The french fries are the best in town, fresh cut and perfectly cooked! My partner ordered the beef sandwich which was also amazing. So, all you grown ups out there that avoid the downtown core on weekends; get out and make Grillicious a place where we can go and enjoy an evening of friends, food and music in a venue that is appropriate to the adults of the beautiful city of Barrie. We need them to stay!

This place was amazing! Service was incredible. First of all when we arrived, the host was honest and said the kitchen was behind- so we knew it might take a little while for food. After getting drinks though, service was great and you wouldn’t have known they were behind. Every server would smile and make sure we were ok when they passed the table. The big guy burger was delicious and my partner got the salmon. It was his birthday and they were so kind and brought out a cheesecake for him. Great place!!

Friendly service, great setting, fantastic food and delicious beer. The owners are naturals and the love they have for the business is evident. We haven't been anywhere since the pandemic began, as in a sit down dinner and drinks experience so this was a big leap for us - safe to say I don't think we'll be doing it for a while based on our experience. First of all, the service was phenomenal. Our server was amazing and super polite, as well as the other gentleman who took our reservation was incredibly hospitable and genuine. The food was okay - incredibly salty but not bad. Just kind of an okay experience foodwise. The negative comes from the pandemic protocols. There were two gentlemen indoors with no masks on (even though the window was open, they were surrounded by four walls and it's clear that it would be considered 'indoors'). They were both contractors and would frequently break the 6ft apart rule to do their work. Alongside was what appeared to be a manager who was directing them to their work. She, too was inside with no mask on frequently and also directing them with no PPE. No contract tracing for any customers was also a letdown. All in all I had a hard time setting on a review score (ideally it would be 2.5*), however my wife and I felt incredibly uneasy the entire experience and were discouraged from start to finish. I would avoid this place if you can for now and hopefully find somewhere that respects the protocols enforced by the government.

FIVE STARS ALL THE WAY ! Ever since I saw the movie 'Chef' who loses his job and started his gourmet food truck , I've always wanted to try it but never really check whether that concept really existed . We have passed Gravenhurst many times not knowing that my gourmet truck was right there! We were on the way to grab a pizza accidentally came across this place and I'm glad I did ! menu is small yet but the choices are fabulously sufficient. You get your beef , chicken , pork , fish and Veggies . Smoked trout was too good and beef bulgogi was equally better . Couple who runs it , friendly and accommodating. Prices are moderate , meal is fully worth for the price you pay though ! This place is beyond your expectations. Which happened to us . As our name explains we are total foodies and self imposed food critics . For us to give five stars to a place , it has to be beyond . We couldn't stop talking about how it was til next day . If you are a foodie, and if you like good flavor and if you happen to pass Gravenhurst , just try it ! You wouldn't be disappointed!

Can't comment on indoor experience, but the covered outdoor seating is nice. Good jalapeno poppers and decent $24 pitchers. Nice staff. Fellow patrons don't seem to care about the pandemic and may get in your space without masks on, but that seems common in Barrie and isn't the fault of the restaurant. No contact tracing (no one asked for name or phone #.)

First time trying this downtown restaurant. We were really impressed with the food and craft beer selection. It was definitely fresh, and varied. We found the service good, saw reviews saying slow service, I would say service wasn’t fast but I’m happy to wait for fresh food so not an issue. The owner is very friendly, prices are very reasonable. I had the chicken with pesto zucchini noodles, it was really good. Will definitely go back and recommend.

Good ingredients, well priced and thoughtful fare. But, super insistent execution. Bruschetta pizza and Greek salad is a valuable order but packaging and effort range from a 1 to a 10. In my opinion, if they tried, grillicious would be worth making a part of anyone's weekly bite. * please cut the tomatoes smaller and/or separate the brushchetta from the bread and greens for delivery ???? you have before!.* I Want to give this place 5 stars!

With an excellent craft beer selection, amazing food, a hard working duo of owners as well as a patio with a picturesque view and an interior offering both casual and relaxed dining experiences, this establishment boasts a double trifecta in terms of a grand food and beverage experience. Highly recommended to all. In the photo is their Pesto Fettuccine with Chicken consisting of grilled chicken and homemade pesto and garlic with cherry tomatoes and baby spinach. Delicious!

Wow, what a rare find near the old downtown Barrie by the Bay. Little hard to get to with the Dunlop St E. construction, but go through the back (Bay side). Surprisingly quaint, super friendly staff, a varied menu for both meat lovers and vegans, and some quality brews on tap. Fast service. It was a Thursday night, which we had reservations for, but not needed. I'm sure the weekends are different, so don't disappoint, book ahead. On my list of revisits!

Beautiful, modern gourmet tap and grill with warm atmosphere, and plenty of space for parties large and small. Went for lunch, my wife had is a vegan and had the Bulgogi Vegetarian. Amazing depth of flavour to the tofu with a light, succulent texture atop soft, fresh focaccia. I had the Playing with the Senses (Milford Bay Smoked Trout) sandwich that was well balanced. The decadent smoked trout was not overwhelmed but highlighted by the arugula, capers and lemon dill aioli. We couldn't resist the fresh cut Russet fries that were cooked to perfection and did not disappoint. A wonderful experience overall and highly recommended. It is nice to have a place to go with some variety for my wife along with quality food and good value. We will be back!

The food is pretty good but the amount of time required to wait is unacceptable. They take orders at the food truck and then actually run the orders inside Sawdust City Brewing Co. for those who want to eat inside. Sadly, they don't have the staff to support running orders 100M round trip to deliver food. I ordered the smoked trout salad with a side order of fries and it took 31 minutes before I had it in hand and I waited at the food truck.

I stopped into Sawdust City Brewery and they had the menu for this food truck next door. I went out to order and was told he'd deliver to us in the brewery. The food came within about 10 minutes I think delivered by the owner of the food truck. I got the smoked trout sandwich - sounded good but from a food truck? Wow I was surprised! Food quality would match any well-to-do restaurant. Even the fries were noteworthy. Fine crafted food to go with the craft beer! Highly recommend both!

If you haven't been to Grillicious in Barrie you should run. We went there tonight to try it out based on Google review that said they had gluten free- I looked them up and their menu looked promising so we went and we will be back!!!! I had the beef rice stir fry bowl and it was AMAZING!!! Way more then I could ever eat on my own and the waitress was wonderful about me being gluten free and the owner even came to check and the restaurant was quite. My husband had the fish and chips - his was the same price as mine but not as much food but he said it was very good. Music was a little loud and we were outside. We will be back for sure

Small food stand in the parking lot of Saw Dust City Brewery up in Gravenhurst. The pulled pork sandwich is terrific with the artisanal bread that is phenomenal. Add a side fries to enhance your experience and you'll have one of Gravenhursts bests meals.

Absolutely outstanding! Fantastic service - the staff are all amazing, friendly and quick. The owner is delightful too and takes a lot of pride in his business. The food is all made from scratch in-house and their Korean beef is to die for! Plus, all of the beer they serve is local craft beer! The food was good. And the wait time was fine. But I have some suggestions that really could have improved my meal. I got the vegetarian zuchini sandwhich and my partner got the elk sausage. My sandwhich Needed caramelized onions and mushrooms for some sort of meaty flavour, and I feel like that should have been on there in place of the weirdly textured fried apples. It also needed more mango chutney. My boyfriend's sausage was very very plain which is disappointing for a 10 dollar sausage. It needed more cranberry compote. It could have also used a slice of provolone and maybe some garlic aioli. I'm more writing this as a suggestion to the owner . The food was good, but I just felt like it could have been great with a couple changes. I will say that my daughter loved her poutine!

Best restaurant in Barrie! They have a huge selection of wines and vegetarian options. In fact, they are known for their vegetarian menu. Their spring rolls are hand made unlike other restaurants that buy packaged spring rolls. Shauna and Jennifer went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and recommend their best items on the menu based on our dietary preferences. Once in a while, I make a trip to Barrie from Toronto just to eat good food at this place.

This place was AMAZING back in May when I last visited. Now? TERRIBLE! The gravy on the poutine was gross and 98% of the french fries were burnt and inedible. A waste of good money. Turns out the previous [and lovely] owners sold the place and moved to Barrie. The new owners have no clue what they are doing. Do NOT waste your food here. I’d rather eat McDonalds or Arby’s. BLEH!

Absolutely loved the experience at Grillicious. My gin and tonic was absolutely delicious and served in a nice, tall glass. Our sever was beyond friendly, kind and prompt. I had the fettuccine chicken pesto which tasted as great as it smelled. My hubby had the pulled pork with poutine which was generously portioned. Lovely view of the lake as well! My only note is that the name and font “Grillicious” isn’t as fresh or modern as it could be. I hope to be back soon!

My friends and I attended Grillicious for the first time last week for Barrielicious. One of the challenges that I have as a vegan is finding restaurants where I can eat with my non-vegan friends... at Grillicious there were many delicious options for all of us! The food was outstanding and the presentation was perfect. Staff was extremely friendly, going so far as to visit our table several times throughout the evening to fill our water glasses and check in on us. Definitely a beautiful spot for time with friends, drinks, and amazing food. Definitely, definiteily, definitely going back!

This restaurant is a GEM! We had a delicious lunch here today. The pulled jackfruit and bulgogi tofu sandwiches were both delicious, but so were the sweet potato fries and the spring rolls. Everything tastes so fresh - all of the food is clearly made with lots of love. Not to mention the great service and the patio that looks onto the lake. We will be regulars. This place is a must-eat for anyone in Barrie, but especially for vegetarians. Can't wait to try more next time.

My son brought me there for lunch on Father's day. They had a good selection of micro - brewery beer and the food was well above average the service was done professionally however they were under staffed for the number of customers that were in the restaurant. Beautiful downtown location, overlooking the water. Patio option or dine inside, by the large windows or a quiet spot in the back. I've been here a number of times, the food is delicious. There is a wide selection of craft beer, either on tap or in a can. Service was good, not at all slow, and our server Diane (I believe) was quite knowledgeable with recommendations. A very comfortable place, we intend to become regulars.
