I want to help this place because it has so many good things going for it. First of all the atmosphere when you walk in is awesome. You got great tunes playing on the tv, and a nice young staff. The store looks like it’s been around for years and a comforting feel with a perfect retrofit for making pizza. This place is doing a lot for the community already sponsoring local teams and you see they have made an effort to integrate into the community. Unfortunately I just don’t feel like the pizza is very good. The sauce is too bitter and a little too peppery and the corn meal on the bottom is not the greatest. The Hawaiian was not bad and the price is good. The Bancroft deluxe too be honest wasn’t too good. The toppings were too light to offset the sub par sauce. If they fix the sauce I feel like this place has longevity.

Amazing! The flavour profile on these pizzas is incredible. The bacon double cheeseburger tastes just like a burger. The PickleAmore—which I've been wanting to try ever since Mike first posted about it—sounds overwhelming but the combination is far from it. It's perfectly balanced between the pickle and the garlic sauce base. They know what they're doing here! My mom saved some for the next day and she never does that since she's not usually a big fan of pizza. Highly recommend :)

Well it wasn't the worst but it's a far cry from the best. Cold for 1 thing. Suppose to have deluxe which means lots of toppings. Let's not laugh to loud. Well at least I got it. Last week ordered at 4 in person. Went to pick it up at 510 and they lost our order. No pizza for supper not impressed but I kept my cool just turned around and walked out. Maybe it needs someone to organize.

Went to see a Junior A hockey game in Bancroft today. What a hard fort game! Stopped for dinner at this place called Pizzamore. Wow! Great service from the staff. The pizza is incredible and would stop in again after a game. Delicious tasting and fair pricing.

Ordered my 3rd and 4th pizza from Pizzamore tonight, and let me tell you…WOW, these are some of the best pizzas I have had, and the customer service is great, they are running off their feet and still so polite. The pizza is so flavourful, and they aren’t skimpy on the toppings, not to mention well priced, we ordered the “pickle amore” and the “pulled pork heaven” and they were AMAZING, 100% recommend ordering from here, you wont regret it!

Ordered honey garlic wings. I was curious why honey garlic were so spicy. It was a new experience for sure. I would prefer sweet with less or no heat on honey garlic.

We had a pizza from here for the first time last night and we're very pleased. It was delicious! Price was good. And here's the best part, they delivered! This is the first time we have been able to order in food delivered! Living outside of town, this has always been something we couldn't enjoy, but now we can!

Double bacon cheeseburger was amazing. Best thing I've tried on the menu. I visited last week and had the butter chicken pizza with samosas. The pizza was good, and I really liked the samosa dipping sauce, but the samosas themselves came out a bit burnt. Previously we tried the Bancroft deluxe- it was ok, but a bit of a letdown after the cheeseburger pizza.

The dough has some flavor to it, which is definitely an upgrade from other local pizza places. The ingredients are delicious, they don't skip on the cheese. They aren't stingy with the sauce, and the prices are reasonable. I have nothing to complain about this restaurant. Excellent food.

I never ordered until today. Ordered two pizzas, drove to pick them up, only to find out when I got there there was no pizza. They had run out of dough and toppings. No phone call ahead to tell me this, I had to drive to find out in person. Not cool. I get you’re a new business, but you need to be more organized and better customer service or your going to lose your business. My husband isn’t interested anymore to try it at all.

There was a mix up with my order (it was never sent to the kitchen) but the staff was very accommodating and in the end I walked away with what was by far the best pizza this town has ever seen. I will be back all the time! Can't wait for all of the sides to be available

Was so excited to have a new pizza place in Bancroft unfortunately we have been excluded from their menu. I called today excited to order the gluten-free pizza that was on their menu and the lady on the phone informed me they removed it because they didn't want to create a station to make the gluten free. On the menu the gluten-free pizzas were listed at $20.99 for a medium compared to $12.99 for a normal medium pizza, gluten-free is always more expensive, fine but for that price they should be able to include a gluten free station. Our family has celiac disease, we are sad that we can't enjoy the pizza the rest of the town is enjoying.

This place is just opened recently and is going through the usual opening up issues. In our case they only cut half the pizza. At any rate it was a decent pizza. The pie itself was crispy on the outside and light and fluffy inside. We ordered with garlic butter instead of tomato sauce and that was a tasty change. The toppings were reasonably distributed and in a reasonable amount. Some suggestions would be: 1. For build your own types, put the list of possible ingredients on the menu and online. 2. Add some salads to the menu.

Fantastic, kind service, and best of all, extremely fresh and delicious toppings, and fresh NOT frozen dough. 4.5. I got the Chicago deep dish Canadian, and this was my first visit to PizzAmore, so I knew I was taking a risk. I've been to Giordano's in Chicago many times, so I know what the real deal is; being in Bancroft I tempered my expectations, and I had not read any reviews yet. I only had the anticipation of a new pizza place and knowing they had run out of dough last week. Well, it surpassed expectations. The crust was excellent. Topping ratios were bang on, good quality, and a surprising amount for the price. And if you don't want something super greasy, this actually surpassed a Giordano's pie (though sometimes a greasy food coma is why you go for Chicago deep dish). Only thing I wished for was a shaker of chili flakes and maybe a touch more time in the oven for extra melty cheezyness but that could have been due to my pickup time.

Sit in dining was a hop to it experience of getting up to order at the front counter after reviewing the menu on the wall battling the constant flow of customers ordering takeout. The pizza was hot and good with a chewy crust. Recommended over nearby chain restaurant for family quality pizza.

Off of my first classic pie I will have to say that I find it to be the best pizza around here for quite a while in my opinion. Will definitely be ordering and trying more. A few missteps with how much product to have on hand but I believe they will move past these growing pains.

When my family order from here it was awesome service. The person we we're taking my family's order we're friendly and the prices are very good. The wait was a little long but it was a good wait. The pizza was very warm when we got it also it was really fresh. the delivery guy was also fantastic . They put a lot of meat on it and cheese goodness when you take a slice. Got a friend to grab a pizza (build your own) and bring it for supper a few days ago. So disappointed. Heard both great and not so great about it. One side was burnt top and bottom. Other side just barely cooked. From all the pics I've seen posted, this is common. Might be an equipment problem. No where near enough sauce. Toppings were 'ok'. Flavour wasn't bad, have had worse but this was not even in top half of pizzas I've enjoyed elsewhere. On his Facebook page he comments back and forth, and mocks people who offer up constructive criticism or their opinion of his pizza. Hours are inconsistent, opens only if he thinks or feels it might be busy. Gotta work and get through 'slower' times too. Seriously, NOT open at lunch?!!! Slices are popular for lunch, missing out on that crowd for sure. And Dine-in? Nope, not available but says it is. Says he keeps selling out of dough, product and supplies. You don't sell out, you run out of stuff because not prepared or organized properly to keep enough inventory. So many excuses instead of fixing it. Don't see this place lasting. And based on the owners hilariously misguided and totally FALSE (he has no clue what REALLY happened, only I do) reply, he himself proves my point and review!!

Unbelievable. This place has given away our pizza.... twice! We ordered ahead of time over the phone, were not asked for a name for the order, but were told a time. We showed up, and then they tell us they don’t have our pizza? The first time was soon after opening and they ran out of dough so they couldn’t make us another pizza. But, this first time was soon after opening so we gave the benefit of the doubt, thinking it was weird but maybe it would be better when it wasn’t so busy during fall. So today we once again ordered over the phone, no name was asked for the order and they assured us it would be ready in 30 mins. We drive all the way into town and what do you know, but they gave our pizza away AGAIN! So we have to wait another 15-20 mins for them to make us another pizza. They said they wouldn’t charge us for one of the toppings we asked for, as an apology which was nice. But then they did NOT add that topping, and also missed a second one of the toppings we asked for! Aside from the very poor customer service, the quality of the pizza is not great either. The sauce tastes like they used some pasta sauce instead of pizza sauce, the pizza is very greasy, the dough is dry and the tops of all the toppings were burnt. Due to all the grease on the pizza and excessive cheese, the pizza also congealed very quickly once it started to cool down (within minutes) Overall, would not recommend this place to anyone and will not be returning. Crazy that pizza pizza is great compared to this place. Take my word for it and don’t waste your money.
