If you are in Bancroft and like fried chicken don't hesitate go to Dixie Lee! You will probably have to wait 10 or 15 minutes because they fry it fresh, and it's awesome. Anything on the menu is great, fresh and tasty. Happy customer!

One of the few Dixie Lee locations left. If you haven't tried their chicken, I recommend giving it a shot. Similar to KFC etc but their own recipe, which I prefer. I usually make a point of stopping when I'm passing through on my way to Algonquin Park.

I would actually give it a 9 out of 10! I was surprised because it looks ghetto from outside. Fries and Onion Rings were great. Chicken Strips were awesome. They lose a mark because the chicken could have more seasoning. And the brutal decor. But I will go again.

Just ordered on a snowy afternoon. Delicious chicken meal - juicy and well done with none of that unpleasant chicken smell you get at other places. Service was fast despite the weather. Will definitely order again when I need a break from the chicken. Only wish the salt was a little less for anyone on a low salt diet.

Lousy front of house service! Talk down to you. My daughter walked out few days before for same reason. We never should have gone in. Had to go back in twice for things she missed.
