British review.... Our one and only experience of a Canadian Chinese restaurant. I don't believe the chef has visited a Chinese restaurant, let alone China. Impressive lack of flavour, the chow mein noodles appeared to be uncooked maggi instant noodles straight from the pack, and the rice was badly cooked enough for even me to notice. However, the portions were large and there was a ton of veg which appears to be hard to find in a Canadian restaurant. If you love veg and hate flavour, this is the place for you. Or maybe this is how the Canadians like their Chinese? Service was reasonable, left full tip to avoid confrontation in typical English way!

Ordered take out on a busy Sat night. I was so lucky to be the last customer to order as the restaurant is closing 15 mins early than the stated business hour. Ordered the house fried rice and beef with Chinese vegetables and waited for 1 hour! Taste is good and authentic Chinese. Nice environment as well.

Didn't expect great seafood at a Chinese restaurant but we got it! Seafood platter is so good...the shrimp was amazing. Not greasy and in a thick batter either. Beautiful presentation and great staff. Only 4 stars because the shrimp platter was skimpy on shrimp.

Didn’t realize they closed at 7pm and I called at 6:45 with a Family of 7 order, including appetizers. They took the order very welcoming and the food was very good. Everything was flavorable, hot and fresh. Next time we are in Baddeck I will definitely visit again.

The place is amazing except for the fact that they sell mostly burgers, but that’s beside the point. The point is is that most people can mistake deluxe burgers for bacon cheeseburgers!! #WONGS4LIFE

Service was good and seated quickly with an order for one of the local beers. So can’t really fault that part of my experience. I ordered one of the special plate combinations. This was ribs, chicken sweet and sour accompanied by fried rice. So it was edible and filled a hole. However it was disappointing as there seemed to be a lack of flavour all round for each of these items. The sweet and sour didn’t taste sweet and sour. The fried rice was very dark and again, was missing something. Perhaps it was freshness. The ribs were the only saving grace, as they were tender - they had been slow cooked. They just lacked any sauce. I guess, eat here if you are fed up of Canadian/American food or expensive dining.

First of all, let me just start with the amazing service, the staff were so friendly and everything was placed all ready for us. The food was good too, we had the sweet and sour chicken and the fried fish which were very flavourful and very tasty. Amazing experience and would come back 10/10!

This is not a Chinese restaurant all dishes I had tasted the same bland way, plenty of vegetables with chicken or beef but no taste. The noodles were uncooked, left dry on the plate(apparently so the server told me so they could absorb the juices of the veg and beef) this is the first time anywhere in the world I've seen this. Do not eat the chinese food here.

Skip this place. Food is not as described on the menu and is mediocre at best. Think of “food court” Chinese food, but not even that good.

The servers were nice but the food was awful. Beef & broccoli had no beef and nothing appeared to be fresh. This was a meal for a dying relative on their final pass out of hospital. :(

Most of the food was decent besides the very undercooked fries and fish sticks. The service was the worst I have received in a restaurant. Never once refilled our drinks or asked how our meals were, forgot things on the order and took half an hour to come back and when she did she only brought half of what was asked for and did nothing to rectify the poor service when brought up. The store was not even half full so there was no excuse of being too busy. Terrible negligent service!!
