This little cozy restaurant in the alley beside the pizza restaurant his a great place. The food is delicious and you have a lot for the price. I really enjoyed talking with the staff. It's a great place at an affordable rate. I will be going back on my next trip to Baddeck.

Somewhere to eat in Baddeck that’s open on a winter Sunday afternoon! Take out only but some picnic tables next door were fine for a quick lunch. Turkey club & bacon cheeseburger were solid wins. Definitely one of the better poutines on the island - crunchy crinkle fries, lots of gooey cheese and thick gravy - top, warming comfort food in my books!

Food is great. Hours aren't the most flexible. Staff is friendly enough. Pricing is better than other establishments in area. Portion sizes are small to medium. Only real 'complaint' would be their hours. They close fairly early and sometimes without prior notice if there's an event going on that includes one of the staff.

I liked this place. They put gravy on everything I ordered, but I said gravy on the side. Waitress took it back and brought out a fresh plate. It was a very meal plus yea came to 18$. Parking is right in front no steps.Clean looking dinning room.

Do not eat here!!! Upon visiting this very tiny restaurant during our trip around the Cabot Trail, I found hair in my food (which the fish and chips were not as tasty as one would expect) The waitress recommended that I just pick the hair out instead of offering to remake the plate also no apologies! Disgusting! I do not recommend this place to my worse enemy and the customer service was the worse I've ever received! Save your money! 0 stars!

This was very disappointing. The fries were probably bought in the frozen section of the co op down the hill, and the seafood platter was lackluster. The fish wasn't cooked thoroughly, the clams looked like something I could get at a chain restaurant in the interior, and the fully breaded scallops were offensive. I guess I shouldn't have been expecting too much when after phoning in the order I was told it would be ready in 10 minutes. If you're looking for good fish, don't stop here.

Overall this is a good spot. The place is located on the side of the building. Interior during the pandemic allows for reasonable seating capacity. Service was also good and quick. The menu options are straightforward and prices are agreeable. We ordered the chicken burger combo, and a clam combo as well as an iced tea. The burger was very good, breading on the patty was crispy and the burger was appropriately mayo'd. The lettuce would have been crispier it was a tad wilted. Additionally the burger was pretty small. The clams were spot on, excellent breading. Iced tea was good. Not super sweat. The one thing would mention is the fries. The texture was good crispy outside, however a critical flaw was present. A complete lack of salt. The issue is that once out the fryer the things harden up and without that initial salt kick any salt you try to add on basically bounces off. Oh one big plus one of the knives we got was made by Thor. So that's awesome. Overall good.
