I’m from the town I’ve known the canteen for great food and there chicken was to die for my boyfriend and I would order from here quite often ... the past two times I’ve been given really dried out almost burnt chicken with a different coating I didn’t find appealing, I also received a large poutine with the fries barely cooked, 6 pieces of chicken and a large poutine cost 40$ and I threw out 4 pieces of chicken and 1/2 the poutine sad to say I will travel for better food

For the last 2 years I go for breakfast at this resto-cantine for breakfast during the hunting season. a few weeks ago I had breakfast again and it was just delicious. The eggs were a good size, the toast were good as well as the baked beans. But the price was over 10.00 dollars. I can have the same breakfast in the Montreal area for 7-8 $. This is not a fancy place, it is a cantine. Although, I have found that the restaurants in Danville are also pricy. I must add that it was a delicious breakfast and a friendly staff. Should I have to go farther, the cost of the travelling expenses would bring the price of a regular breakfast to probably the same price.
