Another lovely visit to this brewery. We tried a sampler and a few pints. Plus we had some calamari, onion rings and hit wings. It was all very tasty and the wings had a nice little bite to them. Definitely worth the visit. Great view too.

Pretty much a must-do if you're visiting the area or nearby. The building is gorgeous, and right on the water. The beer is fantastic and the food delicious band reasonably priced. Notable standouts on tap when we visited were the peach sour, IPA (has a great name) and the Irish Red. The merch shop downstairs has a great selection of t shirts and glasses, and be sure to check out the museum as well - lots of interesting artifacts and displays about local history. On a nice day you simply must sit out on the deck and look out over the harbour.

Went here for dinner and drinks June 2019. My fav beer was bluebouy a very refreshing blueberry. The food was good. Nice views of the harbor. Unfortunately the museum wasnt open (they were in the process of reorganising) looked like there were some interesting things in there. Bought some souvenir t-shirts and glasses to take home. Also grabbed a few more beers to take with us.

Terrible. We went with a group of eight. Gave the number at the door because it was an 1 hour wait, so they wrote down the number correctly I watched them, so we waited. Go in 1.5 hours later and they're letting groups of two in at the door and still no table for us, said we gave the wrong number. It was wildly obvious that they didnt want to seat such a large group. Wouldn't go back if someone paid me.

Holy moley What a hugh plate of fish you get. Waitress said they serve at least 8 ounces of fish when you order. But my pic of what I was served looks like it might be pounds not ounces. And the batter was very light and extremely tasty. I'd give this meal a 10 out of 5. Had to get a doggy bag. Couldn't eat it all.

Visited the establishment today for the first time. The beer was fantastic. My husband opted for the blonde but I tried the flight. Substituted the stout for the blueberry beer and loved them all. We arrived mid afternoon and were advised they were short staffed. We put our name on the list for a table in the dining room which was estimated to be 30 mins. We proceeded to the bar for a beverage and wait on the patio. We waited ato least 15 mins to get a beer because there was 1 person at a cash taking bar orders, taking bills from patrons who were finished eating and ringing in gift shop items. After standing in line for 15 mins for a beverage our wait for a table was only about another 20 mins. Perfect. Once seated we waited, and waited until finally we flagged down a waitress who was serving another section. Our waitress was on break. Understand everyone needs a break but when she did come back she totally ignored us until we had to seek her out for the bill. The food was really good and reasonably priced for the portions. I loved the place and will return for sure. Hoping we just hit on a bad day in the restaurant.

Pretty disappointing. I'd prefer if the beers were more flavorful, the sour was only mildly sour, the blueberry wheat ale barely tasted of blueberry, and the IPA was heavy on the bittering hops and light on the aroma hops. The blonde ale was decent at the brewery, but the cans we took home were not carbonated, total duds. The food was decent, I had the cod bites, but I left hungry due to the long wait and small portion sizes.

In its infancy, Dildo Brewing co. Has so much potential, but a lot of room for improvement. They ran out of glassware, there is not yet a Pepsi fountain, and ran out of certain menu items; however, all of this is expected from a restaurant / brewery that is less than 6 months old, and especially in the busiest of tourism seasons in NL. The beer However is dialed in. They got a theme, low hops, low IBU. Also focusing on NL as a province with cocktails only made from newfoundland distilling company. Excited to see what else they produce. Give it another summer season and this will be a go to tourism place. Brand new facility with attention to detail. Right now it's a must visit. Can't wait for the future.

Spent the evening there last thursday, had an amazing sunset (one of the best in our trip in NL), good beers, excellent fried cod bites, we actually ordered a second plate after tasting it, and a great staff that took time to talk to us, explained the different beers and answered our questions on the local town history and much more! Lots of fun drinks that aren't beer as well as the big selection on beers (I say this as someone who doesn't like beer) the food is okay, not amazing but it's pub fare. The views at this restaurant are amazing and taking moment out on the dock after dinner as the sun is setting is quite nice. They are also doing a good job with keeping tables spread out during covid even though they are busy.

We went here twice in our stay in town. First night we ordered wings and the chicken flatbread - both were amazing. Atmosphere and beers was great! Second visit for dinner we got the seafood Alfredo and the southern chicken burger and mac & cheese. The Alfredo was a thick gloopy mess - do not recommend. The Southern fried chicken burger was dry and poorly done. The first side of mac & cheese was a bowl of cheese sauce with very few noodles. The waitress saw it and took it back immediately. We finished our meals before the replacement came out. 2nd attempt had more noodles but ultimately was a tasteless bowl of goop. I really wanted to give this place 4 stars but our second dinning experience was extremely poor. Great live music both nights. What a shame. ????‍♂️

Visited today. Great place. Sampled 4 beers, my favorite was Blonde. Got a table very quickly even though it was insanely busy. Ordered lots of pub grub. Food arrived quickly and was enjoyed by all. Bought T-shirts and glasses as well. Only issue was slowness in paying, issues with internet and service provider - staff were aware and were working on problem, they apologized for slowness. While waiting we we entertained by local talent. Overall we had a great time and look forward to returning.

So I went there when they first opened and I wasn't a huge fan. They've always had great beers but it was really crowded and overwhelming. The recent renovations are fantastic! The place is absolutely stunning now! The food was also really good, with their new menu. I will say their gravy was horrible (if I was to recreate it, it's just thickening, gravy browning, and onion salt), but everything else was excellent. Their cod bites were great, some of the crunchiest onion rings I have ever had, and our server was wonderful. Would absolutely go again!

My girlfriend and I were there yesterday. We have been looking forward to it for a awhile and we were not disappointed. We went there to sample the beer. She had the Blonde, I had the Red Rocks. We both really enjoyed our beers. We went out on the deck to drink our beers and just enjoy the view. It was very crowded today and we were told there would be an hour wait for food. We will sample the food at another time. I definitely will be back.

Absolutely awesome. The beer and food were great. The service was first-class and people were extremely friendly. The view from the patio is incredible, especially if you can catch a sunset. This place is definitely worth a stop!

Beers i tried were pretty good. the ipa and red were quite nice. the peach and blueberry a little light but thats just my taste. The set up they have there is one of the best i have seen for a brewery with a lower and upper patio outside. nice job overall

Nice view, nice brewery. Friendly staff too. The best part of our beer/food was the pea soup of the day. We ordered all 8 drinks on tap and most of them were disappointing. The radler was probably the best and that shouldn’t be the case with a brewery.

I would go for the beer and food, but definitely not the service. I have been here a couple times now and it seems the general vibe of the servers is dismissive, not approachable and not very friendly. I’m not sure if they’re overwhelmed with the busy-ness that the summer and weekends bring but it is off putting.

Nachos have no flavour, it's odd because it's what a lot of people order. Mainly it's due to the actual nacho chips not being salted. The pretzel was amazing 10/10 and the fish and chips 8/10. Not the worst place but I was underwhelmed. Can't comment on the beer but I had a Shamrock drink and it was good.

All the Kimmel Buzz aside, food was solid - super saucy wings, cod bites and a plate of nachos too. Bit of a carrot and celery shortage with the wings, but that’s nit-picking. All good. The beer flight was tight. Loved the Kim-Ale, the Blue Eyed Boy, and the IPA. Great vibe too - place was hopping, decor was cool, view was incredible. Go there!

Great beer! Visited on a Saturday when they had live music on the patio. Great to see a line out the door. Most people opted for the patio; we had a high-top inside but could still hear music and enjoy the view. Only suggestion would be on the food: opt for smaller menu with fresh ingredients. Will be back next summer when we’re home!

We could not get in -- too busy. Staff was curt. Not friendly. There's a pleasant way (e.g. smiling, not loudly counting all the tables on the waiting list one by one as you punch the book with your pen) to let a potential customer know how busy it is and how "sorry" you are that you can't accommodate them. Then the customer might want to try again another time. I wasn't even made to feel welcome to shop/buy in the gift shop part of the business which is completely separate from the dining area.

The establishment is beautiful... I have never loved a bathroom decor more! The layout is open and the scheme and decoration are unmatched. The craft beer is a treat and the live music always puts a smile on your face. I have been there for lunch and the food is amazing except for my favorite, chicken wings. The wings are akin to a box of frozen breaded wings that you would put in the oven; I was expecting naked or house battered wings and I hope that they make this a menu option soon! Other than that, love the place (but you have to have GREAT wings!)
