Eccentric service, very friendly! Good is very good sized portions. Tastes great. Wife got the club sandwich and I had the something else burger. Both were excellent, and came out very quickly!

Restaurant was packed and they got us a sweet booth in the back, it was timing and we were grateful. Avoid the dip sampler as a starter, great service and great mains, tasty and good portion sizing. This place was a solid back up and would wander back again.

Very clean kitchen, you can see throughout from the front of the restaurant. Good service and the food came out fast! Moderate decor. A little bit confused because they claimed it’s Greek restaurant, but menu itself kind of mix and match. We ordered everything to tried. Calamari was the best of all the food that we ordered. Pizza and lasagna is ok. Greek dish itself could be better since it’s claimed as Greek restaurant. Not bad of all. Tourist place came a bit higher price point, which is understandable.

We had calamari, chicken and lamb souvlaki. I didn't took a photo of the souvlaki because we were disappointed how small the portion is compared to its price. Too expensive with one stick of meat. I give 2 stars because it's in a small town and I should probably give them a chance but still.. The calamari is good tho

OMG!! Super friendly staff/servers. Fabulous food! Everyone in the restaurant was smiling and having a good time. I ordered the Something Else Pizza special for dinner, and it was amazing!! Best pizza in Jasper! We heard another restaurant in Jasper had good pizza and we were seriously disappointed. But Something Else has amazing pizza!! Everything from the dough to the sauce is done and made in house and you can taste the freshness and passion in every bite. My wife had the chicken donair for dinner. It is a Greek restaurant so let’s just say they did not disappoint! We definitely recommend this family owned restaurant who obviously takes pride in the food they prepare. We will make this a must for dinner next time we visit Jasper. Huge thank you to everyone at Something Else for making our last meal in Jasper so wonderful and memorable! And make sure you save room for the Baklava!!

5 stars. They happily accepted us 45 minutes before they closed. Service was very friendly and place was cozy. The pizza was great, meat lovers with pepperoni, ham & donair meat. Very filling pizza, good crust. Perfect amount of sauce ????. Girlfriend went with the lamb kebab and it was really something else. Superb. Would recommend.

So my friend got really high and had dinner here. Twenty minutes into eating his steak he thought it tasted funny. Only to realize the salt shaker he had shook all over his steak was actually parmesan cheese. 12/10.

Good and tasty food. They made the food right in front of us and the freshness made it really nice. We took the chicken Souvlaki and the smoked turkey sandwich, both of them were great. Even though the fries felt like they were frozen and fried after, but it didn't taste bad. Jasper is a small town and compared to Banff this place is not that expensive. This place is good for a quick bite and it has different kinds of food, starting from Western to Italian and Greek.

This little gem of a restaurant is amazing, the food is unreal (ordered blackened chicken, and lamb slovaki) and we had Michael as our waiter and he was super friendly and knew what to suggest for our cravings! Will definitely be back when we come Jasper again.

What can I say about Something Else restaurant? Absolutely AMAZING- they took our table at 9:30 with NO problem, the hostess was outstanding, and our entire family loved the food. I highly recommend the Blackened Chicken here.

Incredible food, such a treat! The chicken souvlaki with the ultra fresh Greek salad was seasoned and cooked perfectly. The drinks were all top shelf quality (try the strawberry mojito with properly crushed mint) and the dark torte desert was delicious. The waiter was amazing and the atmosphere was clean authentic and romantic. This is my new go to place in Jasper and exceeded all of our expectations.

Restaurant was recommended by the concierge at Fairmont Jasper Park where we were staying. The staff were super friendly and even remembered us when we returned for another meal two days later. Most restaurants in Jasper closes by 9pm in October, and Something Else was opened until 10pm. We had the calamari as an appetizer, and the chicken souvlaki and steak for dinner. All were great!

Honestly, I didn’t have a good experience in this place. And I think it might be overrated. Most importantly for the food itself, it lacks character and authenticity, the taste is blunt and protein portions are not matched with the carbs sides! It’s just super weird. They lost all the stars though for messing up our orders, the oven roasted potato that we asked was more of a boiled potato! The appetizer that we ordered never came and the waitresses only response was “ops”. And those are just examples of the horrible service that we got. I don’t like to post such reviews but in this case I did it because I really wanted them to up their game, they have all the potential to be a great spot in this beautiful town.

I love this place! I was recommended by a friend who visited this place two years ago. the restaurant did meet my expectations! the servers are great and hospitable! the food was typical greek food but involved some sense of Canadian/Calgary elements. it was delicious! next time I will visit here again when I travel to Jasper!

Great selection of food with an emphasis on Greek food. The server was great and the Halibut was amazing for all the way out in Jasper. Great decor, vibe, and atmosphere. We'd recommend this to anyone and the chicken chunks work well for kids!

Extreme disappointment and rude service from the waitress. Was here on Sep/28/2021 around 9:30 p.m. Non busy, no customer inside. We walked in questioned if they are still open for business the waitress said “Yes, we are open!” The whole thing changed directions from here! Waitress Veronica mentioned several times about their high standard for meat lovers (AAA beef) and set an very high expectation for us. When we ordered the 14oz Rib Eye steak, rare and patiently waited. After the dishes comes up I first suspect the steak cut was little thin, but without hesitation immediately taste it. SOURry taste coming from nowhere just punches my tongue like an 60 miles per hour truck, I did not expect an AAA steak would have such aweful taste into my mouth. When the waitress Veronica checked our table about how the food goes I asked her “truth or lie?” She said “Truth.” So I was honest about how unpleasant about the food. She then asked me so I want to switch the steak? Since I am paying $45 for this masterpiece therefore I do not hesitate about my willingness to switch my steak. And the horrible moment begins… From this moment the waitress Veronica switched into a different person and start being very rude and showing her attitude. I mean if you don’t want to switch why asking the question at the beginning? At the end she gave me the bill, removing the steak, and threw down the bill in front of me and said “just tap your card don’t bother to tip”. WOW, out of blue in Alberta or in whole Canada never been experienced with such rude, immature service. Folks looking for good food don’t come here or you will experience sour steak and Veronica’s hell service. Peace. Their Steak problem: 1. Taste blend. 2. Did not sit in room temperature long enough before cooking. Taste very watery. 3. Weird sour Taste. 4 Not tender at all.

Great service, awesome food and very generous portions! I had the chicken souvlaki and it was legit! So delicious. We sat on the patio in the evening sun and were even able to have our dog sit with us! Definitely recommend for some dog friendly evening eats!

The jambalaya was very well seasoned and flavorful. Presentation could use some work thou. The spanokopita was not too bad but and I don't say this often did not have enough dough or wrapping so it wasn't very flaky and instead just like a blob. Service: server was very nice and attentive. Gave us just the right amount of attention at the right time. Our waters were always topped off not just by our server but any server who passed by. The food here is absolutely delicious; no word of a lie. The chicken kebabs seems to be marinated with so much flavor. Unfortunately, it is extremely expensive here. An over-packed plate in Toronto is about $12-15 with an extra kebab. I've paid close to $40 for the same size under-packed plate with an extra kebab. To each their own ????‍♀️

Service was fine, it was a quiet Saturday night. The food was quite overpriced however. We had the chicken souvlaki and blackened chicken and the total (tip included) was $64.

Pros: no wait time, got a seat right away Cons: after dinner, still not sure whether they offer western food, Greek food, or what...., definitely something else, the name of the restaurant is perfect No one greeting you at the door, waiter didn’t bother to share a smile for my entire dining, water wasn’t refilled.... on and on, the list cannot get any longer. Most important, the food, yes, you don’t have to have an origin for your food, but I never know a pizza can be that disappointed. 4.2 rating, how? Why? Maybe people are just way to generous while traveling.

I give 3 because calamari was very good as well as the service. Quick service too. The main plates were very salty (Alfredo pasta and bay back ribs). Alfredo Pasta was not the same Alfredo pasta that I am used elsewhere, was more like a salty soup (tasting good but not as expected and too much salty)

Suzy was very professional and very funny... She was impressive with the Saganaki Cheese (flamed!!!)! The meals was awesome ( Burger, RibEye, Ribs BBQ). Nice ambiance! We recommend this restaurants for everybody who pass through Jasper!

I had their jambalaya shrimp starter. The shrimp and rice were flavoured quite well and I did enjoy them. What I found really odd was that they gave about 2 cups of rice and one whole pita to eat with fried shrimp which to me doesn't really make sense as you barely are able to finish up the rice with shrimp let alone the pita. I ended up ordering the side of hummus. I have to say it was probably the best hummus I've I've had ever, it was flavorful and garlicky. I would come again just for the hummus I will say that I think that the shrimp or slightly Raw as they weren't opaque white and pink towards the head side of the shrimp and I had a bad stomach ache the next day. I would have given this three stars because of that, however, the server was really amazing. She was hilarious.

They claim to serve authentic AAA Alberta steak, they charge the price of a AAA Alberta steak but the meat was average and quality was very disappointing. I do not recommend.

We are frequent travellers and have to say, they have some of the best services we had in a very long time. Food was ok. We had the lamb kebab and donair plate on the lunch menu so they aren’t too pricey. Their cocktails were quite expensive however but we really enjoyed our time at the restaurant.

Well maintained , kind staff. Lentil soup was great! Shrimp Appetizer was okay. Amazing greek salad but I felt lamb soluvaki was a bit hard..they were kind enough to swap pita bread with rice.

Hands down, this restaurant has THE BEST steak I have ever eaten. I ordered the ribeye with mushrooms, and it was fantastic. Perfectly cooked, perfectly seasoned, large portions, and everything was made from scratch. My husband said his lasagna was very good, and it looked it. Our waiter Michael was delightful. He was charming, attentive, and funny. The atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. Greek music played softly in the background, and the booth we were seated in was cozy. If you find yourself in Jasper, do yourself a favor and stop here for dinner. The food is phenomenal, and it's very reasonably priced. Say hi to Michael!

By reading excellent reviews from other customers can’t stop wondering if there are more than one chef, and we missed the good shift. My ribs order was terrible, cooked well but Greek sauce needs immediate substitution. Side potatoes + vegetables just tasteless. Pricey? Definitely

Visited this place last evening . Just excellent overall! From the moment we entered to being greeted , seated , menu suggestions , the service , the food and right until we left. I'd like to thank our server again(forgot to ask his name) but we ordered chicken souvlaki and Louisiana Jambalaya and the key lime cheesecake at the end . Everything was scrumptious and the I've never had better tasting rice before !! So flavourful! Everything was scrumptious and our server was nice to give us suggestions for places to go to for that evening later on and the next day and you were right ! The walk by the lake at JPL was great and the pyramid island was gorgeous this morning!! Thanks again for everything. Definitely definitely recommend this place ! Lots of choices for everyone on the menu ! Will definitely come here when I'm in Jasper next !

Amazing food with a more amazing service. They were super attentive and were able to anticipate my every need. The lamb souvlaki was cooked to perfection and they filled the plate so it was very filling. It was super spacious in the restaurant and felt very clean. I would recommend this for their Greek cuisine but they also have steaks, ribs, burgers and pastas.

We had dinner here and it was very plain. I ordered salmon with rice and vegetables and I didn’t enjoy any of the three. I know how the Greek food should taste and it’s a shame to serve the food with quality so poor at such high rates.

Was visiting Alberta from Montreal and this restaurant was by far the best place we ate at during our whole trip! The service was great, welcoming, friendly and kind. The restaurant has both a fun and charming bar, as well as warm and cozy family sit down style. Last but not least, the food! The food was mouth watering! Hats off the the cheft and the staff!
