Now that ive had the chance to have a lot more of the menu I'll update review. Donair is the best in town albeit there arent many options. I wouldn't rate it on par with Edmontons top donair shops. Price is alright Burgers imo are the best in town although they are a bit heavy on the red sauce. Price is alright Fries are best in town without a doubt. Price is a bit high but worth it. Fried onion rings are just ok. I'd rather go across street to a&w for them. The price was average. Fried pickles were a random purchase which I didnt care for much but it's an acquired taste. Price seemed above average. Pizza isn't very good. Very light on the toppings the sauce is sparse without any flavor and the dough was on the thin side and dry. Price is very high for quality and quantity you receive. Ive cream is best selection in town and price is fair. I'd recommend this place except for the pizza. There are items on menu I havent tried like pasta and wraps.

When in westlock if you want a good burger try Ramzi's mushroom, cheese burger and fries, awesome. Very good quality and very tasty, they remind me of the burger baron burgers in Edmonton but even better.

First time coming here. It was pretty good. Combing Jack's from spruce and a burger baron this place has you covered from pasta to burgers to pizza with a variety of flavors for icecream and milkshakes. Deffinitly a must try place.

Fairly decent food for average prices. Had the pizza sub and it was OK. Children liked the nuggets, and poutine didnt use cheese curds. Friendly, fast service though and a wide variety of items to choose from though that may be a downfall. Ice cream selection is fantastic though .

Honest the wife would give it 5 stars, she's from westlock and loves the mushroom burger and a lot of ones I know like that burger as well. Myself I got the dad burger it was pretty good could use more bacon but what couldn't. For a fast food restaurant its a good burger and a decent price aswell.

Ramzis is the best burger & pizza joint in Westlock. I stop in here because of the managers. Every town needs a place like this to stop in at. Bypass Mcdonalds, A&W, Subway, and Tim Hortons if you can. 5 Stars!

Get something straight: healthy it ain't. But if you are looking for a legendary burger and shake joint, this is it. Everything here is so much better than in the big chains, you know the ones... The fries are always fresh and piping hot. As a treat every once in a while it really hits the spot. And it has tons of character. It is practically a Westlock institution.

I live nearby and there are always a lot of people visiting. I bought a hamburger and ate it at home, and it was as big as Burger king's Whopper and tasted good. Westlock doesn't have Burgerking, but I'm glad it's here.

Gotta say, I think Ramzi’s fries are my favourite french fries, anywhere. They are perfect - crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. I think they use a seasoning salt mix or something to season them and it’s SO good. Every time I’ve gotten them they’re hot out of the frier. McDonald’s, A&W and DQ cannot touch these fries. The other food is good too but I’m here for the fries.

A must stop for any roadtrip and a northern Alberta fav. A menu able to handle any craving (pizza, burgers, donairs, pasta, more). Many tasty treats too! (Pictured two Slush Puppies cups) Perfectly deep fried onion rings, fries, jalapeno poppers plus two tasty burgers was a nice reminder of why we'd always beg to stop in at Ramzi's on those long car rides!

Ramzis is the best. We go through westlock twice a week from slave lake to Barrhead. Always stopping at Mc Donald's or A&W. I noticed the kids lost interest of the menus. I said I know of a place where used to go to before when I was young. I told them how good it used to be. We stopped in and the whole family was amazed at how good it was. They love the donars and burgers, especially the spiced fries and gravy. Delicious pizza 24 flavours of ice cream potato bites, you name it. We've been stopping there now for the past two months and haven't been to the other places since. Also try the one in Barrhead. Awesome!

Had the pizza burger which has potential. Found the hamburger to be satisfactory with nothing terribly unique about it, left something to be desired. The bun was too way too big for the size of the hamburger patty. The pizza sauce was the highlight, but there could have been more of it. Fries were yummy being dredged in flour, but they're color made me wonder how old the oil they were cooked in was . The chocolate shake was standard. I would have enjoyed it better with more chocolate.

This place has ruined me for icecream from anywhere else. It's so good! There is a dairy queen going up across the street and I don't even care. The pizza is also very nice, soft fluffy crust and a good amount of cheese. Whenever I want a treat Ramzi's is the place to go.

This place is by far one of THE BEST places to get a donair. I've only ever heard good things from people in the area and decided to try it myself. After multiple visits and ALWAYS getting fresh amazing food I can honestly say this is worth it. I've been inside and the kitchen looked clean and organized. The staff seem friendly and happy. I was going to give them a 4/5 for having the nerve to put lettuce on a donair as it's a cardinal sin for anyone who likes real donair, but after tasting their donair they earned every star avaliable. If you are in Westlock and want a burger, donair, pizza, or just really REALLY good food. Come here and experience Ramzi's.

This is definitely a staple of Westlock, if you're driving through and need a burger this is a good lunch or dinner spot. The milkshakes are the classic super thick homemade kind. Very good.

Ok! I have been stopping here for years and have family, friends, and people I met all over the place that RAVE about this place in Westlock. Ì need to let you know they basically have a Burger Baron menu with a few additional items. So what makes this place different. The attention they put into the customer comments and that it has an ambience of an old school burger joint. Also the quality of food they are using. Not to mention Uncle Cory and Uncle Vern said so. LOL. I hope you and your family love it too. Try the deep fried pickles.

Don't go here, it's disgusting.???? The burger I had was gross, their patties are paper-thin and tasted sour but bland and was mushy and soggy, their cheese is cold, store-bought kraft singles that doesn't melt, there's no lettuce or tomato to give it texture or taste, the chocolate milkshake I tried tasted off and I could handle three sips before I had to stop. The fries were the only edible thing there, and it took effort to eat them, as they were SOOO seasoned, it was difficult to finish. All in all, it was a waste of money. Don't know how this place is still in business, to be honest.

Thought id try a broader sample of their food; give the restaurant a fair review. The outside of the building needs some work... the inside seemed fairly nice.. -The hamburger. Had a basic cheese burger. Appeared to be cooked from frozen and then placed on the white-est bleached bun they could find. Anyone could make something better from home. Poor effort for sure. 1/10 -The beef shawarma. One bite and directly in the food bin. I tried to pull out the beef to salvage some of my meal but it wasn't really worth it. The beef was tough and dry and i suspect old. 1/10 -The fish taco. It was probably a mistake to order a fish taco from the get go, but i thought id give it a chance. It was ok.. The fish was a little soft, kind of creepy but edible. 3/10. -The donair. Had this dish before. Its just missing something... probably older meat (not right of the spindle) that is re-heated. The sauce needs to be re-assessed. 3.5/10 I can't justify going back to this place. They need to focus on making there core items good, like the basic hamburger rather than making fish tacos and beef sharwama. They have ice cream... which i suspect is just fine for the kids, don't bother with anything else. Hoping for change anyway. GG

I've eaten here a couple times and the food was delicious. Their pizza is probably the best you can get in Westlock and they have lots of different ice cream combinations to choose from. I would have given five stars, but the Donair Pizza I got today had WAY TOO MUCH SAUCE. I love me some donair sauce but this pizza was smothered in it

Was traveling home to Edmonton and pulled over for lunch. It's a casual place, well-kept, with classic Canadian fast food fare. I had the super donair! It *was* super! I think family owned, they were doing steady business in pizza, burgers and soft serve ice cream. I asked a woman carrying out two large pizzas if they were any good - "dear, they're the best!"

I have reviewed this place before and gave it a 5 star service and food review. Tonight however, my takeaway was ordered at 6.30 and we were told 15 minutes. I arrived 10 minutes later, stood in line and paid at 6.50. The food was not given to me until 7.15 (45 minutes after ordering) and was stone cold. I asked for a re order of hot food and the chef/ manager accused me of being 45 minutes late to pick it up. Showed him the time the payment was made on the reciept and he still argued it was my fault! He did however redo the order but when I got home the onion rings order had turned into fried pickles, 1 order of fries was missing and my wifes order was incomplete. I guess it must be under new management as it was the best food place in town prior. Heard many complaints locally also just lately. Won't be going back for quiete a while.

We stopped here on our way up north for a hunting trip. I grabbed a donair poutine and it was amazing. The gravy is really good and mixes well with the sweet sauce. They finish it off by baking it with cheese. Restaurant is clean, and bathrooms are clean. We again stopped here on the way back from our hunting trip up north and this time I grabbed a donair calzone. One word WOW. The calzone was very good. The dough tasted amazing along with all the ingredients inside. I am actually considering driving here once in a while from Edmonton just to grab one. But one thing I know for sure is that every time I pass through westlock, I will be stopping in to ramzis. Owner is very nice, and goes out of his way for you. Very nice to see him on the floor with the rest of the amazing and friendly Ramzi team.

Delicious everytime we pass through! Been going 2-3 times a year on our way to the campground (or way home) for years! Kids love the multitude of icecream or slushie choices (to be honest, we all do). Grandpa loves the pink lemonade. I love the mozza burger and onions rings!

One of the best places to get a burger in town. Even if you think it's to busy to pull in. Don't hesitate as there service is quick and there always smiling, the food is worth waiting on. There super donair is awesome, they sure know how to make one. (without a whole bunch of lettuce and with extra sweet sauce) I've paired mine with an order of stuffed mushrooms caps. Like myself you'll be back for another that you enjoyed. There daily burger special is also very good, a bonus for us when ordering, is tht it can be changed from cheese, to mushroom or pizza burger, the choice is yours. So for myself i can't get enough of the spice salt, tht they put on there fries as well. So dine in or take out it's all excellent.

Seen the reviews on here as well as an online thread so we figured we give it a shot. Unfortunately nothing spectacular. Ordered the Mozza burger... Hamburger was obviously boxed kind cooked from frozen...texture and flavor not appeasing. Wife ordered the Ravioli... It was canned Ravioli, canned mushrooms, put in an aluminum pie plate with cheese on top with a slice of ham lunch meat thrown in. All in all... gave it a shot... won't eat there again. Positive...customer service was great!

Classic drive-in experience and flavours. Hamburgers are huge; select single, double or triple patties from a vast array of different toppings. My fav is the mushroom burger. Real onion rings and shakes. Always a great place to stop in, or yes, drive-through instead. I like to eat in and enjoy the old fashioned vibe. They do not have a veggie-burger option yet.

My order was missing fries and sauces so I called and was told my order would be replaced the next time I came in because I live in the rural area and didn't want to drive back. I came in the next time and had to argue even though I paid for the items. Then was told they wouldn't replace my order but would give me the sauces and fries... Sauces I order for my donair that they now said wasn't being replaced. Haven't returned.

I can solidly say. BEST DONAIR. Filled with deliciously spiced donair meat and finally a tasty garlic sauce. An abundance of tomatoes, onions and shredded lettuce. Perfectly warm and chewy pita I had the regular size. I was full after 1/2! WILL BE BACK.
