Love that this place offers such a sweet deal for tackling the Folding Mountain scramble - and for great beer! Highly recommend the Alpine Cranberry Sour if you want something particularly refreshing after the hike. The food was great and really hit the spot - we got the fried chicken sandwich with poutine and nachos ("one of the better fried chicken sandwiches I've ever had - thick sliced pickles and perfectly breaded chicken burger with crispy panko coating"). The homemade nacho chips were also spectacular - thick and crispy and held up well under the layers of cheese. Will be back to do this scramble and to visit FMB once again for sure!

COVID safe place to dine! Staff wear masks and regularly disinfect tables (saw with my own eyes) Food was excellent, and I REALLY wish I got a chance to try their beer (had to drive). The staff was friendly, and the food came out relatively fast. It is a new, modern taproom in the Jasper area. I would recommend folks visit here instead of visiting line-ups in the town :)

Update: stopped by to grab some beer to go. The lady had me wait in the line that people are waiting to get seated. They had a 20 mins wait and i had to wait to get to the beer to go. Meanwhile the host stood there doing nothing but hold a pad while waiting for table to free up for the other 2 group to get seated. In case i misunderstood because it made no sense, i asked her again if i can just get my beer and I'll be on my way but nope, i had to line up. Literally a 1 min transaction and i was done. What kind of efficiency is this? I gave it a 5 star but this silliness is way out of line. What a waste of time, too bad i loved the alpine crandberry sour and i waited so long to have some. Previous review: I had the FMB burger, it was absolutely fantastic. The jalapeno jam spread was so good and it really brings the burger together. I 'upgraded' the fries to a poutine and it was the way to go. I also tried the Alpine Cranberry Sour beer, it was very tasty with a good balance of sourness. Service was excellent all well. I would highly recommend this place.

We were camping at pocahontas, and our tent got flooded and we couldn't make camp fires. We had to find the place to have supper and this beautiful restaurant was near by. Drink menu was amazing and all we tried taste good. Food was also amazing.Chorizo is bit spicy for your record :)

Great location with lots of parking space. The patio space is wonderful and you can see the mountains while enjoying your drinks and food???? The building and the layout is amazing. Great furnitures and nice decorations to make you feel like you are in the rockies. The drinks were okay. Our favourite was the Alpine Cranberry Sour. Goes well with the burger I had (Chorizo Burger). The staff members are kind and they know what they are doing. If I get the chance I will definitely visit here again.

My girlfriend and I came to the brewery for a bite and to see the local craft beers that were being brewed around Hinton. We were very pleased with our experience here! The staff was very kind, helpful and seemed genuinely interested in making our experience as nice as possible. When I noticed that my cutlery set was short a knife, the server immediately went to get me a new cutlery set. We began by ordering 2 flights for ourselves. These let us taste many of the different beers that are brewed by the brewery. This was complimented by the order of the Charcuterie board. My girlfriend got the elk macaroni, and I got the bison grilled cheese with an optional poutine side. These were very tasty, and filling. The poutine however tasted excellent and the gravy is noteworthy. Because of the patio restriction, the atmosphere of the restaurant was a bit chilly, however the outdoor heaters made the experience enjoyable. I am excited to come back here on my next trip to Hinton!

A great place to stop and grab a pint or a flight and a bite to eat. The patio is pup-friendly which was a huge plus and they even supplied a water bowl of cool water. Lots of space between patio tables, opportunities to grab some shade under a big umbrella, and great service from the pleasant staff. We enjoyed the chorizo burger and fries. This place would look great in the evening too under all the pretty string lights or would be great to host a smaller event at. We will be back again to try more of the food and beer menu.

Tried to stop in last weekend as we saw other reviews about the patio being dog friendly, but when we stopped they didn't have a table available. We only made it to the hostess station at the front, so didn't see much else, but it looked very clean. One of our favourite things to do is stop in at places and get a couple flights, so instead we left with 2 mixed 4 packs of tall boys. Only tried 3 of the 6 kinds so far, but have enjoyed them! Nice place to stop off the hwy.

Always love coming here every time I'm heading back from Jasper. The food is always delicious and the staff are always willing to help you pick out your next brew. Patio was open for dine in and was very well spaced out which was reassuring. Hand sanitizer stations were readily available and also required upon entry. The patio is also heated! Doesn't help against the wind but certainly does for chillier days.

Pleasantly surprised to find it in the middle of nowhere! I give it a five stars for the location and the cool ambiance. Enjoyed the samplers. I enjoyed the IPAs and the porter. What a nice surprise on the way to Jasper. This brewery reminded of one in Invermere. It has a cool and nice atmosphere and their patio has the Rockies in the back. It’s a beautiful stop to check out and provides great food and beer!

Excellent selection of beer and ciders! Very friendly staff. They have many board games out here for the guests, not to mention the great selection of seating they have to choose from. With the gorgeous mountainous backdrop and the calm relaxing atmosphere, you will be sure to enjoy stopping in here for lunch! The food was great, I had the grilled cheese of the day and it did not disappoint!

Lively place tucked in the mountains, just before/after Jasper park gates. I tried 4 of the lower IBU beers (no hops for me thanks) and they were all fabulous. Definitely stop in if you get the chance. Now to find these brews in Edmonton!

I love to visit micro beer brewery, and visited many breweries in the past. This brewery is absolutely the best brewery, beer was so fresh and right fit for my personal preference, and food was great! Usually beet brewery don’t serve fantastic food, but they do! If you plan to travel nearby, please visit them!

Shame restrictions have culled indoor dining because the decor is modern and welcoming, but the patio was spacious and comfortable! Will definitely return!

First time visitor to Folding Mountain Brewery. The beer was amazing. I'm not a craft beer drinker so our knowledgeable server was able to recommend 4 on a flight of beer. My favorite was the cranberry one and my partner enjoyed the special IPA that was made for a charity in Edmonton. Now the food. I had the fiddle pasta salad with chicken. It is big so if you're hungry, this is the meal for you. My partner went with the Fried Chicken Sandwich. He said it had a lot of flavor and really enjoyed the side poutine. Even though we were stuffed, when we saw their cheesecake go by, we had to try it. It was a perfect end to the meal. The place was tastefully decorated and although it was smokey, we were still able to sit on the patio and enjoy the surroundings watching everyone laughing and having a good time. If you're ever on your way to Jasper, stop by this place. Oh and they have really nice merchandise for sale! 10/10

I stopped in for lunch while on a motorcycle trip and loved it. Very nice new facility with really genuine friendly servers. Had a good burger on the patio, in the sunshine with my Outbound Lager. Liked it so much, I brought a pack home to Edmonton.
