The most amazing restaurant I've been to. The food is out of this world. No wonder they keep five Michelin stars for so many years. The team behind this restaurant is simply amazing. Servers are super polite and professional. One of the things that makes this restaurant so special is the view to the valley... You can't put a pricetag on that.

Love the ambiance and friendly staff. The food was delicious and I also love the fact they offer a vegetarian tasting menu! Let the staff know any dietary preferences at check in and they’ll take care of you.

AMAZING MEAL! The staff was courteous and tended to us every chance they had. Highly recommend.

Great experience. We dont know what was better; the food, the wine, the food, or the service. We enjoyed all. Perfect for Royalty.

Chris Krock

We loved this place. Excellent service. Food is delicious and very well prepared. We decided on the A La Carte but the buffet looked amazing too. Highly recommended.

(Translated) Excellent overall. The dishes have a very elaborate presentation, and although they are not surprising, they do treat all the raw material carefully and the result is exquisite. They recommended a wild boar dish, and it was just awesome. What was somewhat disappointing was the wine pairing they offer, I suppose because the selection is somewhat strange for a regular of Spanish wines. The place does not contribute anything special but it is cozy, and it depends on the table you touch, the very beautiful views. It is not cheap, but the price is fair with what they offer. The team that attends you is especially friendly and very professional.

The staff are warm and friendly, the food is some of the best you'll find in the Canadian Rockies, and the wine pairings are lovely. The atmosphere of the restaurant is also quiet, intimate, and graced by beautiful views of the mountains.

We had our wedding rehearsal dinner here in February 2017. It was fantastic. Even the things I wasn’t sure I’d like based on looks or ingredients were delicious. Most of us did had the meal where dishes are paired with wine and it was very well done. I’m not a huge wine person but the pairings did actually enhance the flavours of each other. Definitely would go back again.

The hazlenut dessert was to die for. Smaller portions but expected for the level of fine dining. Food was incredible and staff were amazing at their service!

This 5 Diamond Star rated dining paradise is worth every cent! Chef de Cuisine Abraham Mannakuzhil creates magical meals and superstar tasting menus; the staff go out of there way to make every moment special, the room is beautiful, the selection extraordinary. Eden is one of the country's only Five Diamond rated restaurants. Globe & Mail: "...the whimsical tasting menu by chef Abraham Mannakuzhil produces plates that are powdered, dotted and tweezed to look like pieces of art." Splurge, you are worth it!a

My #1 restuarant!! First time me and my husband had ever been here and it was definitely top notch!! The service was AMAZING!! They were so on point with service and making sure we were taking care of from the drinks, to the food, even a personal driver back to Fairmont hotel and goodie bags. I was totally impressed. We plan to make another trip out here and we will be staying here this time now that we know ????????

We had high expectations for this meal based on the reviews, particularly around the service, however while the food was good overall we left disappointed with the meal. We had just gotten engaged and they gave us a dessert celebrating our anniversary instead. My fiance also asked for a table by the window and we were placed in the back which was fine but not what we asked for. I am also a pescatarian and they initially served a dish with bacon and then quickly removed it. Overall we expected a thoughtful and unforgettable meal for the price and left very disappointed.

Great selection of wines, loved it. A great place for dinner.

The Eden is an incredible, one of a kind restaurant. This is our third visit in the last 2 years and every time the service is impeccable, the food is delicious and the experience is unparalleled. I would highly recommend Eden.

It couldn't have been better. Complimentary valet. Warm greetings by the staff. Elegant surroundings. We ordered the tasting menu with the wine pairi ngs. We were attended to professionally, but not molested. The food was sensational. Steak tartar, crab, lamb, bison. The view of the mountains is spectacular. It's worth the splurge. It's a pretty big splurge.

Ambiance was classy, dark yet eloquent - complete with beautiful single orchid decorated on each well-set tables. My wife and I had the 5-course meal, ordering 2 appetizers, a main dish, a 3-cheese plate, and a dessert for each of us. Appetizers were excellent - great technical skills were at display with fine mariage of ingredients and flavors. Seared trout with pine nut and corn, and sunchoke soup with mushrooms were nice start to my dinner. My main dish of grass-fed beef had overabundant seasoning of coarse crushed pepper, which subdued the bourguignon flavor of sauce, and unfortunately, could not experience much umami savoriness of aged beef. The beef bourguignon garnish bits were unpleasantly dry. 3-cheese plates were just a palate breather between cuisine - a safe conservative selection of typical fromage, and surprisingly, with no molded cheese to choose from. Desserts did not fare too well; it may have been the biggest disappointment of the night. Supposed coffee "creme brûlée" with banana, passion fruit and pâte à choux was, I hate say, an amateur rendition of the classic. Presentation lacked refinement; the listed flavors were all muddled without any distinguishing texture or senses of acidity, salty, nor bitterness on the palate. My wife's hazelnut entremets also had met similar fate. We regrettably left our our desserts uneaten after few bites. Service by all front staff was impeccable and courteous - friendly yet professional. My hats off to them during this trying times. We had to splurge over $300 in wine and champagne (excluding the meal cost) to uplift our evening in otherwise disappointing finish to our culinary experience at Eden. Unfortunately, not a place for people with experienced palate.

Fantastic dining experience that can’t be beat. The team at Eden does an incredible job of creating a special experience with little touches that impress. Our food was incredible, and service team, from the sommelier to server were attentive, engaging, and helpful. Highly recommend if you want to feel like royalty in the mountains.

Dominique Fleckinger

It’s ok. The staff was nice, but the food was not very good.

Mel Atuati

Another amazing dinner at Eden! The food was delicious, coming out at the pace that we were eating with the service staff always attentive to your needs. We opted for the wine pairings which were spot on and really enhanced the dishes, a testament to Robert the sommelier's extensive knowledge of food and wines. We were celebrating our anniversary and the staff really make you feel special. I would highly recommend anyone looking to enjoy one of the best dining experiences of their life to allow the staff at Eden make it a special one for you!

Nathalie Jackson

Amazing place. A really great experience.

An exceptional dinning experience!!

Without a doubt the best food I have ever had. I'm not one to go out of my comfort zone but at Eden everything was so delicious. Great service, beautiful restaurant and amazing food.

Watch out for rude staff. To access Eden you walk through a casual lounge and we asked a server if we could go into Eden (we were 10 minutes early for our reservation). She said yes and to go right in. Walk in and it’s empty and we walk into a staff meeting. A server called Gustavo chewed us out demanding to know what time it was and what time our reservation was, chastising us that we were early. Dude there was no one at the entrance to the place to give instructions, chill out. Really rude and unprofessional for a fine dining experience. Other servers all good and food was good.

Experience of a lifetime From the moment we were greeted by the welcoming staff to the final bite of our magnificent dessert, we were pampered, entertained and celebrated. It was my 50th birthday and there wasn't a single part of that night that i won't remember. Not only was the food impeccable, but the presentation was imaginative and appealing. The staff went above and beyond to not only make us feel comfortable but safe as well. I can't say enough about how friendly, knowledgeable and courteous they were. Everything was spotless and the views were breathtaking. We'll be coming back for my sister's 50th in three years time.

Lord Demoncrusher

For a fine dining experience, the Eden delivers. The tasting menu is elegantly paired with wine and a sommelier will discuss the pairing. Just incredible food and service with warm and welcoming staff. A true culinary treat.

Unquestionably a 5 STAR experience. We were seated near the window which spotlights a grandiose view of the Canadian Rockies. The services started with a Champagne cart which had varied prices of bubbles. No pressure from the service staff to spend the big bucks, which was appreciated. We did the Chefs tasting menu, it was absolutely exquisite! Chef takes you for a brilliant expedition of delectable flavours mixed with a Canadian gamey farm to table type experience. The service didn't miss a beat from the waters being topped to the detailed description of each dish. Even some charming humour was added at almost every turn. As we left we were walked out and greeted with a to go gift. Overall a wonderful experience that I recommend for anyone looking to have a nice evening with a loved one.

The staff was incredible, we had a fun dinner as well as a delicious one. The atmosphere is great as well.

I have been coming to Eden ~once a year for several years now and am constantly and consistently impressed with level of service they provide, and the fantastic food served. The food is always amazing and different, the service is always top notch (staff are super friendly) and the scenery cannot be beat. Yes, the restaurant is a relatively high price point, but I will happily note that I, a big eater, have never left this restaurant feeling like I haven't had enough to eat, or that the food/experience wasn't worth every penny. Eden offers some of the best food I've ever eaten, and is an experience I look forward to weeks-ahead of every visit.

When you are at the Rimrock this restaurant is a MUST. Friendly and welcoming staff, perfect executed food and refreshing cocktails. We had a blast, thanks guys

Excellent food and excellent service. My wife and I had the 5 course vegetarian option. Every plate was visually beautiful and tasted wonderful. The service staff were also very pleasant and their attention to detail very impressive. Would recommend, especially for special occasions.

Brianne Pittenger

Was highlight of our Rockie Mountain trip! Top-notched services! food presentation and tasting were exception!!

Melanie Rayo

Very nice experience overall. Good food, good service. Recommend..

Alex

The food was alright. They some how managed to make "waygo" beef tough witch makes me think they're just serving top sirloin and calling it waygo. Every thing was slightly under seasoned. All the food looked much more pretty than it tasted or felt but it was okay. The problem with this place is one busboy/host. He made a rude comment about my brothers sweater becauze it was COLD in the restaurant witch is not a good thing in a place like this. Then made several more dude comments to him through out the night. This short French guy with a shaved head needs to get a job a Boston pizza and leave fine dining to people who know how to treat people. And every one else who we complained to about this guy needs to take complaints much more seriously and when you say you're going to bring the manager out, live up to your word.

We did not know if we should choose the 5 course or 8 course meal. We did not know what to expect in regards to the food portions. We were informed about 2 hours before the experience not eat too much. My fiancé and I ended up choosing the 5 course meal with the Eden wine tasting. There were definitely more that was offered than what was described on the menu. We loved it. I was so full, I could not even finish my dessert. I noticed that one reviewer gave 3 stars because the creme brûlée was okay. I had the creme brûlée too and cannot say that I can really taste the passion fruit. I am sure that after multiple courses and drinks, it would be hard to really judge the creme brûlée. (We did a difficult long day hike prior to the Eden experience and this was essentially our meal for the day..we did have some alcoholic drinks and lounge trail mix beforehand). If you are in Banff, I would recommend coming here to try it out. Great view, ambiance, and service. We definitely will be going back! I'd cut back on on all the hiking (you don't want to go into the experience hangry) and drinking and trail mix eating. Also drink an appropriate amount of water before going because I actually was going into a food (and alcohol) coma by the time I got to the creme brûlée. Somehow I managed to take one photo and...surprise surprise! Creme brûlée! I'd give it another try...and maybe I'll ask for it as an appetizer to give it a better review. P.S. I cannot say that I have a very distinguished palate but for the most part, I'd say it's pretty decent. Also, the red wine was left over from the entree. It was not paired with the dessert.

Dustin Naismith

Great food. Each meal is prepared and served well. Really enjoyed the ambiance. Definitely check this place out when you're in Banff.

David Bonte

We had THE MOST delicious dining experience ever !!!! The 8 course meal was outstanding! The flavour !!!! Chad and his team took great care of us, switching up courses where food sensitivities dictated. And ohhh, the humour - - they had us laughing most of the evening. An evening we will never forget. Thanks Eden staff for such a memorable evening.

My wife and I had our wedding anniversary at Eden in 2019. Without a doubt it was the most spectacularly fabulous meal I have ever enjoyed in my entire 40+ years. From the delightful ambiance, the incredible service, and most importantly the amazing food, is worth every dollar. I could not recommend any degustation higher.

T Mos

We had dinner here last night. It was a 5 star experience with an incredibly knowledgeable staff. Each table has a sommelier. We would go again.

Rous Dieva

We decided to have a nice family dinner since the tour bus driver recommended it. The combination of the view/atmosphere, amazing staff, and even more amazing food makes Eden a can't miss. The creative effort put into each dish was definitely obvious with selections such as Black caviar tart with white chocolate. The tart wasn't sweet as I expected but nice combination of everything on the plate. Highly recommend for any special occasion!

Helena Li

BEST dining experience!! 6 stars really! First class service and dishes VERY delicious. Of course, view of sulfur mountain and other ranges add to the experience. Tasting menu was excellent and flexible with substitutions. I would have replace oysters with scallops as the oysters were smoked. But still delicious. Halibut was a large size portion and very moist. Even vegetables were mindfully prepared with skins all removed. Interesting amusement Bouche delights. Also had free valet parking and they even sent us home with these cute banana loads! :)

Simply amazing. It's very rare of my self to actually go out my way to write a review. Eden and their staff offer above and beyond service and hospitality. Come with an open mind and taste different kinds of flavours. Tonight we tried their tasting menu which costed $140.00. The high cost may set the bar high but eden delivered. Be advised it's a tasting menu, your not supose to walk out with a bloated stomach like you would from a buffet. At the end of the night my stomach waa very satified and struggled to continue eating the rest of courses. I've been to many other fine dining restaurants around calgary and banff but none haa stepped up to what eden shared with us today. Our 7 course tasting menu was actually more of a 12 course meal as they just kept surprising us with more and more things. I suggested you nteract with the waiters and waitress and they are very kind and have great personalities. I will rerun to eden again but this time with their wine pairing.

My wife and I came for our first anniversary. Exceptional food, wine, and service. A memorable meal for a memorable occasion!

Amazing service and experience! Definitely recommend having a group dinner here. The staff and chef went above and beyond for our group celebrating my graduation. Had an 8 meal course of small delicious plates chosen by the chef and for dessert they personalized mine to be a cake with a small diploma! Definitely won’t forget this restaurant!

Fine dining experience at its best, you get greeted by a few friendly staff & the drinks, food, ambience were spot on. The chocolate dessert was a pleasant surprise.

My wife and I got married in Banff and we wanted an unforgettable dining experience after the ceremony to celebrate. Eden did not disappoint. I called ahead and was able to speak with the manager Chad Greaves. He and the rest of the staff took great care of us and made our evening a truly special one. The tasting menu + wine pairing was phenomenal. You’re not only paying for the food and wine; you’re paying for the experience. It is well worth it.

Excellent service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a good experience. We were the last table to leave but did not feel rushed at all. There was a slight delay to one of our drinks and they made sure the drink was complimentary. Our sommelier and waiter were both very friendly and fun to talk to. They even packed some complimentary desserts and pastries for us when we were leaving for breakfast the next day. We had the 9 course menu. The food were great and we were very full at the end. Highly recommended!

Steve Colopy

Eden is a unique culinary experience. We go once or twice a year for special occasions and they make us feel like we are part of the family. It's a place to discover and try new food experiences. Gustavo, Chad, Benoit and Julien are amazing hosts and we are always happy to see them. The service is attentive and super friendly yet the food is extreme fine dining. We tried a few Michelin star restaurants in the world but Eden is still our favorite. A must try in Banff !

Alex Haddou

The best dinner ever and an amazing experience. Pictures and words don't do justice to the experience of the taste, flavour and texture on each plate. I would rate this restaurant as one of the best among the other five diamond/michelin starred restaurants we have been to with regards to hospitality, food quality, ambience ..literally everything !!

Eden is my favorite restaurant so far in Canada, food taste really good with incredible services. The team at eden are so professional and knowledgeable. Especially our server, he is sooooooo nice, I wish he can share some of his sense of humor to me :) view is fantastic too.

alisha rai

Sommelier was amazing! The manager was attentive and really made sure we enjoyed our dining experience. The key to a great restaraunt like this is to have fun let the Chef and Sommelier do their thing and order what they suggest. We had what seed like 8 coarses and too much fantastic wine. Thank you for the experience.

Doug Zimmerman

An incomparable dining experience!

J

Exceptional experience that starts from the moment you set foot into this amazing restaurant. The food is fine dining at its best and in this setting with the view of the breathtaking Rockies, the price is well worth it. Service is outstanding and very knowledgeable. Very sophisticated alcohol menu. Highly recommended.

Rose Nagra

My partner and I went to Eden to celebrate our three year anniversary. From the moment we arrived, the attention to detail was incredible. We started with a glass of Prosecco and proceeded to enjoy the five course vegetarian tasting menu. The truffle linguine, the sprouts, and the dessert were all world class. We had mixed feelings on the mushroom course and the Mediterranean vegetable course. Both were good, but not as tremendous as the other three. All the extras (amuse bouche, palate cleansing sorbet, a surprise extra dessert) were special touches which added to our evening. Julien, the sommelier, elevated the meal. We elected not to do the wine pairings (a bit out of budget and a bit too much wine), so asked for his guidance on a bottle that fit within our budget and aligned with our meal. He couldn't have picked a better choice and the wine was beautifully paired with every course. The entire service team made the night special and something we'll cherish and remember our Rockies trip by. When we're next in Banff, we'll be sure to come back to Eden!

Mustafa Kapasi

Incredible service, breathtaking view, delicious food! Great value for money.

Was just there for a birthday celebration. Dining at Eden is a wonderful and unique experience. The food is obviously great, but it's also about the quality of service you get the second you're greeted at the door until the time walk out the door. Staff is unbelievably helpful, professional and their attention to detail is what makes this place great. Will definitely dine there again...

Nathan Newman

This was one of the best meals I’ve had service was impeccable, the food was gorgeous and tasty and the wine pairings were spot on!

Jon Colwell (JonnyOneThree)

Stayed at the Rimrock last weekend and decided to book a table at Eden. Best choice we made all weekend! The view from our table was amazing. The food was some of the best I've ever had. The wine, delicious. And the service, impeccable. We had 5 servers throughout the night. Each was very knowledgable of the menu, polite, and entertaining. We ended up staying about 3 hours and enjoyed every minute. We would definitely recommend the pheasant and the beef. Even the bread was memorable. I highly recommend Eden to anyone that seeks out a quality dining experience. However, keep in mind, it's not cheap. :)

Atmosphere - 5 Cleanliness - 5 Quality - 5 Service - 5 Taste - 5 Celebrated Valentine’s Day with dinner at Eden and I must say this was my most memorable dining experience while visiting Banff. The atmosphere was fitting for the occasion with a carefully curated playlist for love in the background as you walked in and throughout the rest of your time in Eden. The views are amazing with the lush green trees and lighting at the bottom and snow capped mountains on top. The menu for the night was a preset tasting menu that started with a bread plate featuring the most amazing wheat bread I have ever had, focaccia and sourdough served with whipped honey butter, olive oil + balsamic vinegar and regular butter. Then came the bison tatare, lobster caviar, asparagus and mushrooms, bison tenderloin, a strawberry and champagne palate cleanser, then crackers and cream cheese and the chocolate deserts. Every single dish was divine, extremely balanced and just DELICIOUS! Service was as spectacular as the food! The sommelier was helpful in recommending drinks and I was lucky enough to try the 1963 port which was truly aged perfection and well paired with the chocolate dessert! Overall, Eden provides a Michelin dining experience in the heart of Banff national park. We walked out of dinner with a rose and a special gift from the restaurant. Absolutely loved our time here and would love to return on our next visit!

One of the best meals of my life! You must try a tasting menu here. Great service as well. Warning - the booze cart is a bit pricey though.

James Lavoy

Did the 9-course last night. Service and food were terrific. Will return. Thanks!

Monica Berndt

Amazing experience!! We had a special dinner here for our baby moon in Banff. The food was outstanding and the service was even better! (If that’s possible) The staff catered to our every need. The Sommelier even served me some de-alcoholized wine so I could have a drink with dinner as a pregnant woman. They have an amazing vegetarian chefs tasting menu which was great for us as we have a hard time finding veggie friendly options when choosing restaurants. We have been to only a few restaurants that we would consider to be in the fine dining category but this one blew us away. ( better than our fine dining experiences in Paris, Maui and Vegas) Definitely worth the cost if you are celebrating a special occasion. Thank you Eden!

Densa Chan

Probably my worst dining experience ever. The staff is rude, the food is disgusting. Imagine poached foie gras, it tasted all kinds of gross. Until dining here have never not liked foie gras. If you are not accustomed to fine dining you will probably be impressed, if you are experienced, run, far, far away !! Seriously the food is awful.

Shane Watts

Went here for taste of adventure. Really was very disappointed with the experience. The food was the big issue here, which shouldn't happen in a restaurant like this. Alberta waygu beef? More like I grabbed sysco AA tenderloin and called it a day. Had silver skin in the tartar. They blow torched a raw scallop and it tasted like butane and carbon. Most of the food was incredible under or un-seasoned. Their were decent moments with a pallet cleanser. Took over 45 mins between appy and the main. And the manager was useless. Left extremly disapointed. Remember Eden, it's the Taste of adventure, not the "look" of adventure.

Charles L

Incredible food and service! Amazing view and romantic atmosphere

Our server Chad and his colleagues were absolutely amazing service 10 star if we could put! The meat was awesome. We took the 3 meal service , a must try!

From the moment we walked in to the moment we walked out everything was just spectacular. Raul greeted us at the entrance and was friendly, smiley, cheerful and informative. He walked us from our car to reception. Benoit was someone we could tell loves what he does and answered all our questions. The food was fenomenal and delicious to the last bite. We look forward to returning to enjoy at another occasion.

Zehua Xia

One of the best fine dinning experience we ever had, everything from services to food just simply perfect.

Adrian Gunaratne

Absolutely worth the money! Our group of four tried the four part tasting menu. The service was outstanding. I really enjoyed all of the cheese options. I recommend getting the pork ribs for an entree and blueberry dark chocolate for dessert. My whole table agreed these tasted best. Be sure to ask for a table near the windows with the best mountain view-- I wish we had done this.

Honestly the place with the best service and food in Alberta. Pricey, yes, but you get what you pay for! The service was impeccable. The food was spectacular! I had the three course meal with the wine pairing and honestly I was so stuffed by the end of it. There wasn't a single dish I didn't like. And, there were so many extras! I had a great experience and would definitely recommend it! It's fine dining and definitely worth trying this place for a special occasion!

Our experience was truly exceptional... it was our parents 50th anniversary and from start to finish we were treated like royalty and made to feel very special and taken care of. The food was incredible. The service was perfection. Well done!

Kyle Kuervers

Wow. I shared an incredible meal with a friend at Eden last week, and I'm already planning a return visit. We took advantage of the Banff Taste For Adventure dining special and had a 4 course set menu for $59 each, which is a smoking good deal in Banff. What was advertised at 4 courses really turned out to be about 10 different food items, with what seemed to be a never ending stream of various delicious amuse-bouche, intermezzo, pre-entrees, post-entrees and pre- and post-desserts. The main courses themselves were wonderful. The mushroom appetizer may be one of the most delicious things I have ever eaten. To top it off, we were each given a little gift bag with a gourmet banana bread to take home! The wine pairings suggested by the sommelier were fantastic, and the service from everyone was warm and hospitable. We even received a drive back to our downtown Banff hotel at the end of the night. Definitely worth a visit!

Philippe Assaad

I have chosen Eden to celebrate my birthday with my family. The service, food and ambiance was perfect for the evening. Our server, Rodrigo, was attentive and positive, making the whole experience unforgettable! If you value innovative dishes, high quality ingredients and impeccable service, you will not find a better place in Banff!

Eden has great service, wine, and 3-course meals. The service is similar to that of a Michelin Star restaurant. We had the tasting menu and a 3-course meal. Exceptional service, great selection of wine, and a great dining experience overall. The location is good. The staff is friendly, and anyone is willing to provide what you require. Best to make your reservations early ~5.30-6pm as all the window seats were taken by 6.30-7pm. The tasting menu represents a good selection of presentation and skill. However for the value, we suggest the 3-course meal, as it offers a similar and sufficient sample of Eden's menu. The quality of food is above average. The bison, duck, and keflir cheesecake were our favorites.

Shannon Farquhar

We had the 3 course tasting menu. Compliments to the chiefs. Especially the executive chief who designed the menu... This restaurant is all about tasting menu... They have 3 courses, 5 courses and 8 courses tasting menu... 3 course starts at $99... expensive but very well worthed... very inventive... It is all about... quality not quantity... Highly recommended...

Pravin Mansukhani

Hands down the fanciest restaurant I've been too. Worth it for the experience.

Rebeca Leitao

By far, the best service i have ever had at an elevated establishment. Multiple servers taking care of you. Each one with a most wonderful personality, humour, informative insight to the menu and local attributes. They were most humble and respectable.

Marlene Quiring

We had the three course meal with the classic wine pairing. In short it was an amazing dining experience with top notch, friendly, service.

Kayla Landry

Fantastic service from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. The food was incredible, and the bar selection was great as well. Highlights included the Double Smoked Manhattan, the Lobster from the 9-course meal, and dessert!

Leen Meyer

We had the Chef's tasting menu. The menu was amazing, it's truly worth being an AAA/CAA 5-Diamond restaurant. Each dish was carefully crafted to ensure the different flavours goes together. It's one of the best I've ever had so far. We were lucky to come across that restaurent since we were staying at that hotel. Very well done for the staff as well.

K S

This is a decent fine dining restaurant, but for the money, the flavours didn’t hit the spot. The plates and food looks beautiful - like works of art - but I found the flavours didn’t match up to the presentation. The service was excellent though ! The waiters are attentive and really professional. Overall it’s a decent experience but the prices for the food don’t necessarily align.

Ling Ji

I wish to give them extra star for their marvelous foods and services provided. I booked Eden for our anniversary. When we arrived the doorman took the valet parking which was included if you're dining at Eden, surprised us and appreciated because it's crispy cold night. The staff warmly welcome us, helped to take our heavy winter coats and let us take the nice window seat. Although it was too dark to have a scenic view, but it's nice to have Christmas lights as background. If you are fine dining eater, I highly recommend the Chef Tasting Manu. The food was cooked with heart and inspiration of Fall. Every dish was carefully designed. Each of them has unforgettable tastes. The only regret is we didn't try wine pairing since we have to drive long way back and the weather was not good. The service team makes you feel special the whole time there. When we done, our suv had been waiting at the front door, nicely warmed. I saw a lots viewer said it's expensive, yes and it worth every penny to be like that!

For $60/person for brunch the 3 course was not good. Food was not warm, steak and eggs tasted like they had bleach in it, the servers kept trying to aggressively upsell our already overpriced meals. Only giving a second star because of the view, It’s surreal. Menu items look good when delivered on plate but the ingredients are poorly paired. For 6 people with no alcohol walking out at over $400 for brunch... nothing but a disappointment. Quality has continuously declined year over year. Will never go back.

Outstanding flavors and world class servers. Even more rare is the outstanding view of Mt. Rundle offered from the picture windows in every room. We had the tasting menu 5 courses plus two amuse bouche and petit fours, all were excellent. The servers know every detail about the menu and are happy to recommend activities in Banff to make your stay more enjoyable. Eden truly is a five diamond dining experience and should be on any Albertan foodies bucket list.

In Banff for a fun weekend getaway. Went to Eden & had the 3 course tasting menu with classic wine pairing. Complimentry valet when dining at any place within Rimrock. Excellent host/hostess The view is unmatched...though it was too dark for us... Champagne cart greets you with tasty starter options for a sparkly bevie Our server was very knowledgeable with each pairing...making it impossible to wait to see what the dish will be. Amuse bouche of warm crabcake with cream friche. We started with the poached salmon with quail egg. Reminiscent of a deconstructed salmon with fries and tartar sauce. Very elevated. Sorbet of tart & sweet passionfruit. Oxtail & beef tenderloin for the main...wow It was perfection. Dessert was a pungent but sooo creamy brie with apricot compote and slivered almonds. Amazing with the paired honey mead. While waiting dor the cheque we werw served egg noh truffles and maple fudge. The over the top send off qith a treat of white chocolate dipped banana bread instead of a typical after dinner mint. Though the bill was $$$...I had such an amazing experience. If youre feeling bad abd boujee-you wont regret it

Dining at the Eden is TRULY a five-star experience. Impeccable fine-dining service from the highly trained staff that are engaging, knowledgeable and polished, yet unpretentious. Chad, the General Manager, ensures that each guest is given the royal treatment and Robert, the Sommelier, provides the PERFECT pairings with the creative finely curated Chef’s tasting menus. My guest and I indulged in the vegetarian tasting menu and it turned out to be one of the best meals I’ve ever had! Without being able to travel much this year, a couple of days at the Rimrock and an evening at the Eden was a wonderful stay-cation I look forward to repeating.

Spectacular is an understatement. My husband and I return to Eden with anticipation and believe this to be the 'best' fine dining resto we have ever been to. A favourite and our go to for celebratory meals. Every course became a new favourite with the piéce de resistance being the loup de mer. Sumptuous, textured, a pure delight. Kudos to the chef for the garden inspiration coursing throughout each course. A truly spectacular experience. Cannot wait to go back.

An incredible experience with amazing staff. We celebrated our engagement at Eden and they went above and beyond to ensure a special evening for the both of us. The staff was absolutely amazing and were there whenever we needed them. We chose to do the tasting menu with wine paring and we still can't stop thinking about the food (it was that good). Thank you Eden for a night to remember.

The food was amazing!!! Unfortunately there just wasn’t enough of it. The courses were ridiculously small…literally one course was ONE ravioli. The quality of the food was to die for, but the price that you pay for it is waaaaaay too much. The service was fantastic and the view was spectacular. Do not go there hungry as you will leave the same.

Had dinner here on November 24th 2021. Food was incredible and experience was great. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and service is excellent. The setting is really nice. Very unique experience to have a tasting menu after a good ski day. Highly recommend.

My Mom, Dad and I are all vegetarians. We have never been able to find a fine dining place with vegetarian options but Eden has done it. We ordered the 7 course tasting menu, and it was blissful from start to end. Starting from the Squash salad, all the way to the Hazelnut Dessert at the end, it was a smooth and steady ride. The maitre d’ and the waiters, did a fantastic job, and were always ready to assist us. A fantabulous experience overall. A must visit, if you ever go to the Calgary-Banff area

Oh wow. This was the best meal I have ever experienced! The visit here was exceptional from beginning to end. I can't wait to come back again. Thank you for such a wonderful night.

The chef went out of his way to create a 9-course menu despite my crazy food restrictions (vegan, gluten free, sugar free, and nothing deep-fried). We were very impressed that they not only managed to come up with nine courses that met these restrictions, but also that they were all delicious!

The food was stunningly disappointing - which was a surprise given the rest of the reviews. Eg a lobster terrine where you literally couldn't taste the lobster. A broccoli panacotta that was as bad as it sounds. A salmon and caviar trio that was nice by itself but on top of 'crisps' that were thick and chewy and took away from the delicate nature of the dish. Pheasant that was tough and overcooked. Two of seven plates hit the 'average' mark for what you would expect from a great restaurant - goose and venison - but you could find just as good in 3 or 4 other restaurants downtown in Banff. The wine selection and quality was excellent, however the 'pairing' totally missed the mark for several courses; the service was very good. The scenery is stunning. But the food is really poor. If this type of experience is new for you, then I think you will really enjoy it. If you go to a lot of '5 star' restaurants, this will be one of your worst food experiences.

Went Saturday August 8th at 8pm for dinner with my partner. What an incredible meal! We decided on just doing the 3 course meal as we did not want to be too full for the rest of the evening. The Chef amuse arrived at the table first, a beautiful peice of cured tuna, steak tartar and croquette. My partner decided on the scallops for her appetizer and I the trout. The scallops were the standout for the evening, perfectly cooked, seasoned and balanced flavors. My trout was butter poached with trout tartar and trout roe, also a very well balanced and delicious plate. We then had a palate cleanser of BC peach and ice wine sorbet. For the mains she went with the Pheasent and I, the Filet. Again, another round of perfect plates. As for dessert she had opted for the cheese course and I, being lactose was given an incredible coconut milk Panna cotta with pear and toasted coconut. They then brought out a few small bites just before our end to the evening. Then as we were about to leave we were handed fresh baked pastries for the morning, mine was lactose free and hers was a banana bread with white chocolate. Overall this was one of the best meals I've had in some time and I am saying this as red seal chef and former restaurant GM for the last 2 decades in Edmonton. If i could give one feedback, it would be the cocktail menu, I completely understand this is a heavy wine restaurant but for the caliber of the experience I was left a little disappointed with the cocktail list itself. Other than that small thing, this was the perfect evening. Thank you

It was an amazing experience here! We had a good time, the food was also very very good. The view was obviously amazing. Everyone was amazing, however we want to give a huge shout out to Gustavo. He was so friendly, and made our dining even better! He catered to our needs very well. (Having a young one with is made things interesting) Even our shy baby loved Gustavo. Give him a raise!!

Meal of a lifetime. Go for the tasting menu with classic pairing and enjoy every moment! Staff was genuine and food was an art. We loved every moment and bite.

We were celebrating a birthday and chose the 3 course Fall special with wine pairing. The experience was 5 star. The host was pleasant & took us to our table which had a spectacular view. The wine server and waitress were both very professional but not pretentious. The food was very eye appealing and delicious. It was a great experience & I would highly recommend The Eden.

I had a wander full night at eden with my friends. Dress code: restrict , but understandable. One of my friend wear sweatpants, he has to go back hotel and change. Dinner was a little delayed, they apologized at the end. Bread: good selection of home made bread. Very yummy. Especially the butter , three kind, goat milk , cow milk and spreadable Oliver oil, both amazing. Wine: wide selection of wine , very good. Champaign also good. Appetizer: looks very beautiful , I ordered elk and soup, tasted very good , unique and pretty. Entree: this is one lose one star, I ordered bison. A bit too salty. But overall good. My friend ordered beef, over cooked. Dessert: amazing!!!! Coconut chocolate is very astonishing. Tea: Earl gray is the best I ever had. Smells so good. Surprises: we had a squash shoot , scallops, and Christmas chocolate, very surprise and delicious. Services : good services, from the beginning to end. Everything are well organized. We had a guy from Spanish, very humour, made us laugh and happy, overall services give us a peace of mind. By the end the manager prepared banana cake for us to bring home. I will definitely try again. Recommended.

The food was excellent, and most of the service was great also. One server in particular made condescending remarks to one of our party members. When we asked for him to not serve our table he made a point in coming over and giving the least sincere sounding apology I have ever heard. He inched by our table in a joking manner to other tables, then came back to clear our plates. We asked at least two people to make sure he didn't stop by as we wanted to enjoy our stay, but our request fell on deaf ears. We were excited to try this place but left anxious.

I was blown away. Best tasting menu I have had yet. Our server was so funny and very accommodating. We did the 8 course grand degustation with classic wine pairing. I dont know which course was my favorite, honestly everything was amazing. The sommelier was knowledgeable and took time to answer our questions. The lady at the front door was so sweet and polite. Every single employee we had an interaction with was so courteous. If you have a special occasion or just want an out of this world experience, Go here.

This was quite possibly the best meal experience of my life. We went to Eden to celebrate our engagement and from the moment we stepped into the restaurant we felt like celebrities. Right away the host and hostess helped us out with free parking for the night due to us having to drive because of poor taxi service in Banff, and even offered to set us up with a ride at the end of the meal. We then met our 2 amazing waiters, who kept us laughing and entertained all night, i really can't say enough about these two, they where so knowledgeable and made there restraunt feel like a family. We also had the best sommelier, that pair we all our food with the perfect glass of wine, and had beautiful stories about each glass. There where so many highlights that it is very hard to mention a fraction of them. The end of the meal was capped off with them offering a opportunity to meet the chef, which was a honor! He is truly a artist in the kitchen and every last bit of food that went on the plate was stunning and of coarse very tasty. If you are looking for somewhere special to celebrate, Eden may be at the very top of that list worldwide.
